Roboto Natasha
stands in the middle of the office at Roboto looking at Jacob
and Isabelle,
who are back at work for their first day. Natasha couldn't be more pleased that
her son, and his wife, agreed to return to the company because she has longed
for her entire family to run the family business. In her mind, this is exactly
what Bob would have wanted, despite his death so many years ago. "So,
as you both know," Natasha begins to explain to them. "Roboto has been
working very closely with Rockwell Mining to work on this project," she tells
them as she passes them a file folder. "We are calling it Pink Roses; Rockwell
will secure pink diamonds and carve them into the shape of Roses." "Wow,
these images are stunning," Isabelle tells Natasha as she looks at the images
of the diamonds. "And these diamonds are so big!" Natasha chuckles
back to her. "Yes, they are," she agrees with her. "The idea is
that we will have a crown created for our lead model at the launch party, and
then it will tie into the Pink rose perfume ad." "This all sounds
incredible, Mom," Jacob smiles back to her. "How do you want us to fit
into all of this?" "I thought you'd never ask," Natasha
chuckles back to them. "Isabelle, with your experience modelling, I'd like
you to be the lead model." "Me?" Isabelle gasps back to
her. "I mean, yes, I'd love too. I'm actually very excited about the idea
of wearing these diamonds!" "I figured as much," Natasha
tells her. "And Jacob, darling, I want you to be involved with the marketing
of this project. It has to be huge because it is not often that a cosmetics company
has paired with a diamond mining company; the publicity could be epic with this
launch." "I will make this launch the talk of the world for
many, many years to come," Jacob looks back at her. "That's
exactly what I wanted to hear," Natasha grins back to her son. ***
Meanwhile, in the breakroom, Sophie
opens the small fridge and pulls out a bottle of water before she turns back and
sees Max
sitting at the table. She asked him to join her on her break because she wanted
to fill him in on her latest news as she agreed to try to help him figure out
the connection between Isabelle's miscarriage and Cassie
leaving town. "I had a chat with Isabelle last night at the mansion,"
she reveals to the man that she is crushing on as she sits across from him.
"You did, huh?" Max grins back to her. "Did you ask her some
questions so I can piece together why my Mom left town?" "I
did," Sophie nods. "I asked her what happened the night of the fall."
"And? What did she say?" Max asks her, hoping that Sophie was able
to get more information from Isabelle. "I'm afraid not much,"
Sophie responds to him. "She was pretty evasive." Max sighs
back to her. "I was worried about that," he admits to her. "She
told me that they fought, and she tried to leave and that's when she fell."
"Basically, the same story she gave me," Sophie tells him. "I
I
don't know, Max, I get the feeling there is more to this story. And I promise
you, I'm not going to give up on this. I will help you get to the bottom of this."
The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino
Lukas
moves into the restaurant hoping to grab some food before he heads to the gym.
He has decided to dedicate the day to himself so he can try to come up with a
new plan of attack in his quest to save his marriage to Donovan.
After they worked so well together to save Olly from Jasper
in Mexico, he had hoped that they would be able to reunite. He even planned a
romantic dinner for him and Donovan, but Donovan said he was out with a friend.
Lukas was further upset to learn that the friend was Sergio,
the man that he saw his husband have chemistry with while they were in Mexico.
He turns and freezes when he sees Donovan and Sergio at another table together.
He sighs and shakes his head in disgust. "I guess they are seeing a lot of
one another," he tells himself. "Maybe I have lost Donovan for good
this time?" Meanwhile at the table, Donovan and Sergio share a chuckle
with one another as they laugh at a joke. "This is nice," Donovan
tells Sergio. "I didn't think I'd see you again so soon after our dinner
date." "I hope this is a good thing?" Sergio asks him.
"You know it is," Donovan says back to him. "I really enjoy
your company." "Good, because I enjoy your company too,"
Sergio admits to him. "And there is something that I want to do, that I didn't
get to do on our dinner date." Donovan arches his eyebrow back to
him. "Alright? What's that?" Sergio leans across the table and
kisses Donovan on the lips. When they part, Donovan smiles back to him. "Yea,
you can do that any time you want," he winks back to him, as Lukas stands
fuming having witnessed the kiss between the two men. The Cemetery
Greg
slowly moves up to the tombstone that rests in the cemetery. Once he reaches it,
he bends down and lays some red roses at the base. He reads the name that is carved
into the marble, "Bradley
Lawson", and takes a deep breath as he, still, has a hard time believing
that his son is gone. It's been a few years since his death, but there's not a
day that goes by that he doesn't think about Brad. The fact that his mother, Brooke,
killed him, is still a very hard pill to swallow. "It's been far
too long since I was here son," Greg whispers to the tombstone as he feels
his eyes swell with water. "So much has happened since you were taken from
us. And my goodness, you should see BJ; he is getting so big, and he has,"
he pauses as he chokes on his words. "He has your eyes." He
puts his head down while he tries to control himself for a moment. "The truth
is, Brad, my life is a complete mess right now and I wish, my God, I wish you
were here. Despite me being your father, you always gave me such great advice."
He pauses, again, while he thinks about how he and Kim
were engaged when she was shot last year. Robbie
wanted to marry her on her deathbed because that's what he believed Kim would
have wanted. Greg agreed, thinking that Kim was going to die. Instead, she lived
and, since, she and Robbie have decided to make their marriage work. He feels
like such a fool for thinking that Kim loved him and that she would want to come
back to him after she lived. "I'm in such pain, Brad," he starts
speaking again. "And I feel like I'm close to spiraling out of complete control.
And God help me in getting over this because I'm not sure I can or will."
Tyler's Townhouse
"I must admit, I was rather surprised to get a text from you after we
saw each other this morning at the Pink Flamingo," Madeline
tells Tyler
as she moves into the living room of his townhouse. Madeline can't help but smile
at the recollection of her kissing Tyler when they saw each other earlier; she
enjoyed the kiss but also knows that she could use Tyler in her quest to get revenge
on Robbie and Kim. Tyler chuckles back to her as they face one another.
"To be honest with you, I haven't been able to stop thinking about that kiss
that you gave me," he reveals to her. "It was unexpected but in the
best way possible." Madeline giggles back to him. "That's interesting
that you say that." "It is? How so?" "Because
I haven't been able to thin about anything else either," Madeline admits
to him. "You're a good kisser, Tyler." He moves closer to her
and caresses her face. "Then I suggest we do it again," he says as he
licks his lips and leans into her, their lips touching and the kiss quickly becomes
more passionate. When their lips pause, they look into each other's eyes.
"I
" she starts to tell him. "I don't want you to stop."
"Are you sure about this? We are moving pretty fast," he chuckles
to her. "We are two single people," she reminds him. "So.,
let's just do what single adults do," she purrs back to him as she starts
to unbutton her blouse, revealing her bra. "Unless you don't want too?"
He kisses her passionately again and moves her into his muscular arms. "I
definitely want too," he tells her as he starts to take her to his bedroom.
Dominick's Townhouse
"I almost can't believe this story," Dominick
says as he sits on the sofa in the living room of his house, while Abby,
Eva and
Ethan
hover around him. Dominick just learned that Ethan, and Bryce,
are his grandchildren and that Bryce is, in fact, Noah.
"I have two more grandchildren, one that I thought was lost to us forever."
"My head is also still spinning," Ethan admits to his grandfather,
before he looks over at Abby. He arrived at the house earlier to check in on her,
and he hasn't been able to forget seeing her and Dominick kiss. Just a few days
ago, he and Abby were sharing a kiss, so he is feeling like he has no idea where
they stand right now. "My entire life has really been turned upside down."
"Leah and Jeff are also reeling," Eva looks over at Dominick. "But
listen, darling, we don't want to overwhelm you with all of these details. You're
still recovering, and I don't want anything to get in the way of your recovery."
"I'm fine," Dominick waves his hand in the air. "Especially
since Abby is with me. My beautiful Abby." Abby smiles back to him
as Ethan looks at her before looking at Dominick. "I am here, and I will
not leave your side." "I've made a decision," Dominick
suddenly announces to the room. "I want to remarry you, Abby. Eva told me
that our marriage isn't legal because she didn't die; before that happened, however,
I had filed for divorce because of your affair with
Will," he looks at his wife. "I want those papers filed so I can
marry Abby, the woman that I want as my wife." Ethan and Eva look
at one another uneasily as they are both stunned by Dominick's revelation. "I
guess the question is, Abby, will you marry me, again?" The Victors
Mansion Frederick
stands in the living room of the Victors mansion and pours two bourbons at the
bar. He, then, passes one to Bryce, who has returned to discuss Frederick's plan.
While, at first, Bryce was hesitant to help his grandfather, he has decided that
he has to go through with it because he can't let anyone know that he arranged
the baby switch all those years ago, especially because Victoria
has just decided to give their marriage another chance. "You came
back, so I am assuming that this means you've decided to help me carry out my
plans," Frederick smiles to his grandson while he takes a sip of his drink.
"You didn't give me much of a choice," Bryce huffs back to him.
"I can't risk my marriage to Victoria, and I don't think she would be able
to forgive me for that damn baby switch that Vinny arranged years ago."
"You're making the right decision," Frederick nods back to him.
"You're my family, you should want to help me succeed." Bryce
rolls his eyes back to him. "Tell me, what exactly do you want me to do in
this plan of yours?" Frederick chuckles back to him. "I want
you to get ordained," Frederick reveals to him. "I want you to be able
to marry two people." Next on One Day at a Time - Dawn
