on One Day at a Time - Dominick hired Shane to be the new medical consultant
at Robertson Enterprises. Victoria, meanwhile, told Eva that she was late and
might be pregnant with Shane's child - Nicholas told Melissa he would move
into her mansion before she left for Boston - Craig suffered from nightmares
about being trapped in the cave - Leah continued to lean on Cory, who told
her that he wanted a divorce from Natasha - Cheresa and Dawn were stunned
to learn that a restraining order was filed against Dawn, which said she had to
stay 50 feet away from Cheresa. Cheresa vowed to get to the bottom of it while
Dawn was at rehab Robertson Enterprises; The Studio "I
am assuming that the majority of the time that you will spend at the company will
be in here," Robin tells Shane as they move into the studio. Robin is giving
Shane the grand tour of the Robertson Enterprises tower as it is his first day
at the company as the medical consultant. She is pleased that her suggestion about
Shane replacing Craig in the role panned out as she and Shane have always gotten
along. And, she knew that after Craig left the position, they would have to fill
it quickly. "Forgive me if I am not sure why I'd spend most of the
time in the fashion studio?" Shane chuckles to her as he looks around, trying
to take all of the information she has given him in. "Well,"
Robin purses her lips together as they look at one another. "Because, this
is where we deal with outside clients the most; we have a lot of contracted models
come in for various ads. We do a lot of photoshoots or plan shoots that would
require your knowledge about whether or not it is safe. Some of the stunts we
come up with now are pretty outrageous but necessary to keep up with the business.
" "I see," Shane nods back to her. "I'm glad to let
everyone what is safe and what isn't. I guess it's good to have me around in case
of some kind of freak accident too." "Exactly," Robin
replies to him. "The best part of this is that you and I will be working
together a lot. The fashion department at Robertson is my baby."
"Then I did the right thing by accepting this job," Shane winks back
to her. "This is the start of a great working relationship."
"Agreed!" Robin giggles back to him. "Okay, let's continue with
this tour." The Tower's; Floor Eight; Victoria's Condo
Victoria paces back and forth in her living room as her mind races a million
miles per second. She recalls how she recently confided in Eva that she is late
with her period; since she and Shane have become lovers, she is now worried that
she might be carrying his child. She doesn't know why but the idea of having a
child scares Victoria to her very core. "What am I going to do?"
she asks her as she continues to pace. She runs her hand through her long hair
as she feels her heart start to race. "Okay, there's no guarantee that I'm
pregnant but I have to find out." "My God, if it's true, what
I am going to do?" she asks herself as she suddenly realizes that she isn't
ready to be a mother yet. She shakes her head as tears fill in her eyes. "I
just got my life back. I have more living that I need to do before I become a
mother. How can this be happening?" She sits on the sofa and puts
her hands over her face trying to calm herself down. "Okay Victoria, stay
calm," she tells herself. "The first thing I have to do is tell Shane;
he has to know that there's a chance we are having a baby. Oh God, just the sound
of that is dreadful." She stands up and moves to her phone. She
picks it up and quickly shoots Shane a text message. "I hope you get this
soon," she whispers to herself as he heart continues to race. The
Young Mansion; Nicholas' Home "This is something else, isn't
it?" Nicholas asks Andy as he sets a box of his things down in the living
room of the mansion that his mother has allowed him to move into while Melissa
is back in Boston. Nicholas knows that Andy was skeptical at first of him moving
into the mansion but he hopes that seeing the house and that there is nothing
wrong with the place will put him at ease. "I mean, you don't even
need furniture," Andy chuckles to him as he sets a box down. "This place
is already has it all. I don't know that's my taste but it is pretty sweet."
"I'm not sure that it is my taste either," Nicholas laughs back
to him. "I still think it was nice of my mother to let me stay here while
she's in Boston." "I feel like I'm waiting for the other shoe
to drop. Like, what is the catch?" Nicholas shrugs back to him.
"I don't think there is one," he says as he moves up to him. "Before
she left she even encouraged me to have you over as much as I wanted."
"Really?" Andy asks him in surprise. "And that doesn't seem
weird to you? Cause, she has always disliked me." "Maybe she's
turning over a new leaf?" "In any event, if you're happy here,
then I'm happy," Andy smiles back to him. "And, I can't wait until we
break this place in." "Oh yea?" Nicholas winks back to
him as he leans in a kisses him passionately. "Cause I could use a break
from unpacking right about now." "Then let's start breaking
it in," Andy laughs as he leads up in the staircase. In the living
room, Hendrix emerges and watches the two head upstairs. He has been watching
them unpack and keeping a watchful eye on the two of them, just as Melissa had
requested. He, then, pulls out his phone. He sends a text to Melissa, "Everything
going accordingly to plan". The Cascade Apartments; Apartment
401; Craig's Apartment Craig rolls over in his bed with sweat beading
on his forehead. As he continues to toss and turn, Craig continues to have visions
of being in the cave on the side of the mountain following the avalanche.
[Flash] "Lukasssss,"
Craig mumbles while he lays feverishly under the blankets that his friend found
for him. "Please help me
pleaseeee." [Flash]
Craig trashes again across his bed as his nightmare continues to play out in his
subconscious. [Flash] Craig's legs are high in the air and
he can feel someone thrust into him deeply causing him to grunt out, partly in
pain and partly in pleasure. A second thrust comes and then a third; Craig keeps
his eyes closed but he can feel the force in him over and over again.
[Flash] Craig shoots up in the bed and tries to catch his breath as he
wonders what his nightmare was about. He looks around the room trying to get his
barring's. He reaches over to this end table and picks up a tall glass of water
and drinks some it quickly. "Why do I keep having nightmares about
being in the cave? What really happened to me?" he asks himself, as he continues
to feel the sweat forming on his forehead. Robertson Enterprises;
Leah's Office Leah sits at her desk with a mountain of paperwork
in front of her. She pulls the top file from the pile and opens it however she
is finding it next to impossible to focus on the work as she keeps thinking about
seeing Paige and Jeff together at the Pampa Grill, clearly having a close moment
together. The image of them bonding has made her incredibly sad as she wishes
her family would be complete again. The fact that she lied to Jeff for so long
about the fact that Logan is really his son, not Brad's, will haunt her for the
rest of her life as it has changed her world completely. "Knock,
knock," a voice calls out from her office doorway. Leah looks up and sees
Robbie standing in the entry way. She immediately wipes a tear from her eyes before
she stands. "Robbie, what a surprise," she tells him. "Come
in." "Thanks, are you okay?" Leah waves her hand
in the air. "I'll be fine. Just one of those moments that I wish my family
was in a different place." "That's actually why I came by today,"
he reveals to her. "After we had lunch the other day and Jeff saw us, I wanted
to see how you were holding up. I know it was awful timing." "I'm
I
don't know," she admits to him. "I feel like my world is falling apart
around me and there's not a damn thing that I can do about it."
Robbie pulls her into a hug and holds her for a moment. "I wish there was
something I could do to help you with this," he whispers into her ear. "Something
to make you feel better?" "Just you being here helps,"
she says as he looks into her eyes as they part from their embrace. "I need
all the friends I can get right now." "Right, friends,"
Robbie gulps back to her. He knows that he shouldn't have been thinking that there
could be something still between him and Leah because she has just reminded him
that they are friends. In the back of his mind, he wondered if things could be
rekindled since Brooke
has given him the cold shoulder but he realizes that he has to be there for Leah
as friends. "That will never change, Leah." The Calimo Mansion
"So, we agreed for me to see Sophie today and now you're telling me
that she is at a play date?" a frustrated Cory asks Natasha as he follows
her into the living room of the Calimo mansion. He recalls how the other day Natasha
visited him at the penthouse and told him that Sophie was asking to see him; they
confirmed a date via text and now that he is here, she has told him that Sophie
isn't even at home. He hates that he drove out of the city to the mansion to see
his daughter and she isn't even there. "I'm sorry," Natasha
turns to him. "I must have double booked her and forgot. It won't happen
again." "You know the thing that annoys me about this is that
you just came to me and tried to make me feel bad about not seeing our daughter,"
Cory rolls his eyes back to her. "And then you pull this stunt."
"It isn't a stunt!" Natasha tells him. "Come on Cory, we can
still use the time to catch up. We don't have to always be at each other's throats,
do we? Maybe we can take this time to try to get back to the basics?"
"What are you even talking about?" Natasha moves closer
to him and slowly removes the straps of her dress from her shoulders and allows
it to fall to the ground, leaving her naked body exposed to Cory. She licks her
lips and moves closer to her husband. "I'm talking about getting
back to what we were always really, really good at," she purrs to him. She
moves closer to him and tries to kiss him but he grabs her hand and pushes her
away. "Nat," he looks into her eyes. "I told you the other
day that that this wasn't a good idea. I meant it." "I'm just
trying to save our marriage Cory!" Natasha pleads with him. She has doing
everything she can to get through to Cory that they are meant to be together but
he continues to push her away. "We don't have a marriage!"
Cory yells back at her. "Not anymore." A tearful Natasha picks
up her dress and puts it back on. "What are you saying?" "I
hate to say this," he sighs back to her. "But I want a divorce. Our
marriage is officially over." The Pampa Grill "I
can't believe that this happened to you and Dawn right before she was going to
rehab," Brad picks up his beer and takes a swig of it while he sits with
Greg, Brooke and Cheresa and his sister has just finished telling her family that
Dawn was served with a restraining order right before she left with Adam to go
to rehab. "You must be devastated." Cheresa sighs and looks
back at her family, still rattled that Dawn was served in front of her and Adam.
She can't believe that someone is trying to keep her away from Dawn; after everything
they've been through, this seems like a very cruel act to her. She just has to
figure out who filed the restraining order so she can make them understand that
this is not going to solve any problems, if anything it is going to create more.
"You know," Cheresa says back to her family. "I'm worried
about Dawn. Here she is getting ready to go and get herself healthy and she's
dealt this blow? It's not fair. She didn't cause my accident; I fell and hit my
head. Dawn had nothing to do with that." "How did she seem
before she left?" Brooke asks her daughter before she takes a sip of her
wine. "How do you think she was?" Cheresa asks her. "Sorry,
I didn't mean to snap at you it's just
she was upset, just the way I am.
I just wish I knew who filed this restraining order so I could give them a piece
of my mind." "Most restraining orders provide the name of the
person who filed it," Brad tells her. "Yea, this one just says
it was a filed by a concerned party," Cheresa replies to him. "I guess
they wanted to be anonymous, which makes them a coward too." "Greg,
you're being awfully quiet over there," Brooke notes back to her husband.
"Do you have any thoughts about this?" Greg sighs and runs
his hand along his chin. "I don't know that I can contribute much,"
Greg admits to his family. "I get that you're upset Cheresa but someone obviously
thinks that Dawn falling asleep on that bench is part of the reason you almost
died. I think it would be a good idea to take this time while Dawn is away to
pull yourself together. You and Dawn being upset over this won't help anything."
"That's where you're wrong Dad," Cheresa glares back at him. "I
am not resting until I find out who did this to me so I can make them revoke the
damn restraining order. I won't give up until I know who did this to me."
*** "You won't believe what I just overheard,"
Trenyce sits down across from Chris at another table in the restaurant. Chris
looks over at her with intent. "I was coming out of the washroom and happened
to overhear what Cheresa was talking to her family about." "Ugh,"
Chris groans back to her. "I wish she would let us into her life. We are
her parents!" "I know, I know," Trenyce waves her hand
back to him. "All we can do is respect her wishes and give her the space
she thinks she needs. The last thing I want to do is crowd her and make her feel
uncomfortable." "I get that," Chris sighs back to her.
"I'm just frustrated. We waited years to find out child and now she doesn't
even want anything to do with us." "I believe in time she will
come around," Trenyce replies to him. "I have to believe that."
"Anyways, what did you hear? Good news, I hope?" Trenyce
shrugs back to him. "Apparently Dawn was served with a restraining order
before she left town for her rehab visit," Trenyce reveals to him. "Someone
wants to ensure Dawn stays away from Cheresa." Chris slowly picks
up his red wine and takes a sip of it. "Chris? Why aren't you surprised by
this? You didn't have something to do with this did you?" "Of
course not," Chris replies to her. "But, Dawn was there when Cheresa
almost died. I'm not shocked that someone is blaming her for what happened."
"I guess I didn't think of that way," Trenyce admits to him. "I'm
just
I hope Cheresa is okay. That's all that matters." "With
Dawn having to stay away from her, I think Cheresa will be just fine."
The Tower's; Floor Eight; Victoria's Apartment "I got
here as soon as I could," Shane tells Victoria as he gives her a quick kiss
on her lips and then moves into her condo. He recalls how he was at Robertson
Enterprises when he got a message from his lover asking him to come over. Once
he was done with Robin, he rushed right over. "I had my first day at Robertson
Enterprises." "Oh right," Victoria replies to him quickly.
"How did that go?" "It was pretty good," Shane smiles
back to her. "I think Robin and I will get along really well."
"That's awesome." "The message you sent me made it seem
urgent," Shane changes the subject with her. "Is everything okay?"
"I don't know exactly," Victoria uneasily replies to him. "There's
no easy way to tell you this." Shane arches his eyebrow. "Tell
me what? What's going on Vic?" "I'm late," she blurts
out. "I might be pregnant with your baby." Next on One Day
