The Pier
Vinny looks out at the frozen river as he thinks about the fact that there
was memorial service held for Daisy earlier in the day, despite there
being a thick fog in the air. He knows that she is, in fact, alive and
well in his house where he is holding her hostage with his twin brother
Brett. This was all a part of his plan to get revenge on Daisy for her
torrid affair with Tyler all those months ago; and Brett, well it's karma
for the time he held Vinny hostage. He knows that he is taking a huge
risk being in Twin Peaks right now, but he felt like he needed some air
and he didn't think anyone would be on the pier since it is still so cold
out.
"No one will ever know that Daisy and Brett are alive," he whispers
to himself, thinking about how he arranged their deaths after the avalanche.
"Everyone thinks I'm dead and that's how it will stay."
He checks his watch and quickly realizes that he should head back to the
mansion before anyone does see him. "The last thing I need is for
someone to see me."
***
At the other end of the pier, Victoria slowly walks with a hot chocolate
in her hand from the Sugarbowl. She was at the Pampa Grill earlier with
Shane where they agreed to end their relationship because they realized
that they had very different long term goals. After her pregnancy scare,
she realized that she might never be ready to be a mother while Shane
realized he would love to have another child. While it is upsetting to
her, she realizes that they did the right thing ending their relationship
now instead of waiting until they were further in love with one another.
"I will always cherish our time together," she whispers to herself.
"It will be difficult to say goodbye to you Shane, but I can do it."
She continues to walk through the heavy fog, she thinks about being at
Daisy's memorial earlier in the day. She realizes that life is so short,
it's not worth spending it with someone who doesn't have the same values.
"Daisy's death has made me realize that we did the right thing,"
she continues to tell herself. "We will get over this pain eventually."
As she walks on the pier, she can't help but see someone standing in the
fog in front of her. She wonders who else is on the pier in the fog. As
she gets closer, she finds herself gasping in shock.
"Vinny?" she calls out, as Vinny turns to face her in surprise
that someone has seen him. "Vinny, is that really you? You're alive?
You survived the avalanche?"
Chris' Townhouse
"You were very brave today," Andrew tells Trenyce as they stand
in the living room of Chris home, while Chris stands at the bar as he
opens a bottle of red wine. Andrew knows that the day must have been difficult
for Trenyce as she had to say goodbye to Daisy at the memorial service.
He is just glad that he is able to be there for Trenyce since he can't
imagine what she went through. "You and Tyler, you both did a great
job."
"I couldn't agree more," Chris comes in with wine for the guests.
"How are you feeling?"
Trenyce takes a deep breath
as she thinks about the memorial; she did say goodbye to Daisy, but she
is still holding on to hope that Daisy could be alive. She hasn't told
anyone that she has hired Brad to look into this just in case the search
comes up with nothing.
"I'm doing better than I expected," she admits to them. "I'm
glad the day is over. I just hope that Tyler got some kind of closure."
"I think that's what we all need," Andrew replies to them.
"What about you?" Trenyce looks back at Andrew. "You've
just gone through something very traumatic with your diploma being taken
away from you after your relationship with Albertinah came out."
Andrew shrugs back to her and Chris. "I just can't believe Abby would
be so cruel, you know? Everything I worked for, everything Albertinah
worked for, all went down the drain because she didn't get her way."
"I spoke to my sister," Chris admits to him. "She says
that whatever happened between the two of you is over."
"It has been over for some time," Andrew tells him. "She
was adamant that we end our affair before the truth came out. It still
sucks though
"
"Did you have feelings for Albertinah?" Trenyce asks him as
Andrew takes a sip of his wine wondering if it was more than just sex
between the two of them.
"Did?" Andrew looks back at her in surprise. "If I'm being
completely real with y'all, I think I still do. She's captivating."
"I know that you think you have feelings for her," Chris tells
him. "But I think she's right in wanting to move on. No good can
come from this, the scene at the university is proof of that."
Andrew uneasily nods back to him. "Yea, I know. Moving on is just
proving to be more difficult than I thought it would be."
Roboto
Cassie sits at the desk in the main office of Roboto typing quickly into
her laptop as she works on the serum that she and Kim pitched to Robbie
and Natasha. She is still rather surprised that the Calimo siblings supported
their idea as they have been pretty against everything she has suggested
to them; this is a large part of the reason why is she is seeking revenge
on them: she is tired of being their doormat. Natasha and Robbie have
done nothing but treat her like a piece of garbage since Kim hired her
and since she was involved with Jacob for so long. She should be furious
at Jacob but she can't help but still have a soft spot in her heart for
him.
"I will make you pay, all of you," she glares at her laptop,
losing her train of thought from her report. She looks at a picture of
Robbie, Natasha and Bob that sits on the desk. She picks it up and runs
her finger of Natasha's face. "You have hurt me for the very last
time, Natasha."
Before she can say anything else, her phone starts ringing. She sets the
picture back down on the desk and grabs her phone. She rolls her eyes
when she sees the number on the display screen. "I thought I told
you not to call me," she snaps into the receiver. "If you want
this to work, you have to listen to me."
She listens to what the person is telling her and she sighs heavily. "Yes,
fine, I can meet you tonight. The usual spot? Perfect, I'll be there in
10 minutes."
The Cascade Apartments; Apartment 507; Craig's Home
Lukas steps off the elevator and moves into the hallway of the apartment
building in which Craig lives as he moves closer to Craig's front door.
Lukas was with Meggan following Daisy's memorial service when he got a
text from Craig asking him to come see him; Lukas was going to ignore
it and head home to see Donovan but he realized that Craig is still having
nightmares about being in the cave after the avalanche. He realized that
this was a great way to see how he was doing and if had any more memories
about being in the cave; Lukas knows that Craig can't remember what happened
in the cave: they had sex, which Lukas only did to save his life.
He takes a deep breath and knocks on Craig's front door. Craig slowly
opens the door and looks at Lukas back. "Thanks for coming by,"
Craig says allowing Lukas into his home.
"Of course," Lukas replies to him. "I was curious to see
how you are doing, and your message was a little cryptic about what was
up with you."
"Yea, I needed to see you in person," Craig tells him as he
locks eyes with Lukas. "What we have to talk about, it couldn't happen
over text."
Lukas arches his eyebrow. "Okay? What's up?"
"I remember," Craig replies to him. "I remember everything
that happened in the cave."
The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas & Donovan's Home
"What a day," Meggan says as she puts her feet up on the coffee
table in the living room of the house she shares with Lukas and Donovan.
Having gone to the memorial service for Daisy, Meggan feels emotionally
wore out. She wants nothing more to just have a relaxing evening with
Jeff.
"I'm sorry I missed the memorial," Jeff replies to her as he
moves over and sits next to her. "I had a meeting with my lawyer
about my divorce that I couldn't miss."
"I don't mind," Meggan tells him. "It was nice to leave
Logan with you instead of taking him. A memorial is no place for a child
his age."
"How was it? Saying goodbye to your sister, I mean?"
Meggan shrugs back to him. "Daisy and I were never that close,"
she reveals to Jeff. "Mostly because she didn't find out Frederick
was her father until much later. And then, he was killed
I know
we were family but it just felt like we were distant."
"That's understandable," Jeff tells her. "I'm still sorry
for your loss."
"I'm so glad that you're here," Meggan admits to him. "It's
nice that we are able to be together like this again after everything
that happened."
"It really is," Jeff says back to her. "Logan is the most
important thing in our lives now, that's all that matters."
"Do you mind if I ask you a question?" she asks him back as
Jeff nods to her. "What made you come to the decision to be with
me? When I suggested it to you, you admitted that you needed time to think
about it."
Jeff uneasily looks back at her as he thinks back to heading to Leah's
house and he caught her in bed with Cory. Following that, he went to Meggan
and told her that they should be together.
"Did you hear me?" Meggan pokes Jeff as he started to day dream.
"Yea, sorry, of course I did," he bites his lower lip. "I
did just that
I thought about it all night and realized what you
said was right; we should be together and raising our son together. This
is where I am meant to be."
Meggan squeezes his hand after she grabs it. "I couldn't agree more."
The Pampa Grill
Robbie moves into the restaurant looking to grab a drink as he was working
rather late at Roboto. He left Cassie alone at the office and now he feels
like he needs something to help him calm down before he heads back to
the mansion. He looks over at the bar and sees Leah sitting by herself.
He immediately arches his eyebrow as he recalls how he got a text from
Leah a few weeks earlier asking to meet her for a drink; however, when
he arrived at Barcode, there was no sign of Leah and he hasn't heard from
her since. He finds himself moving towards his ex-wife.
"Hey stranger," he says as he sits next to her and orders a
beer.
"Robbie, you startled me," Leah admits to him. "I guess
I was deep in thought."
"Apparently," he uneasily chuckles back to her. "I've been
texting you and haven't heard back."
"I know, I'm sorry. I've had a million things to do."
"It's just
it's not like you to ghost someone," Robbie
replies to her. "That night, you asked me to meet you at Barcode
and when I got there, you were nowhere to be seen."
Leah shuts her eyes as she thinks about how after the custody hearing
for Logan, she went to have a drink. She was lonely so she texted Robbie
asking him to join her, but shortly after, Cory arrived and they ended
up in bed together. The next morning, they agreed that it was a mistake
and they would only be friends.
"I wouldn't call it ghosting you," Leah tells him. "I didn't
hear back from you so I assumed you weren't coming. I must have left before
you got there. It was an honest mistake."
Robbie uneasily nods back to her. "That's fair but why the silent
treatment since then?"
Leah picks up her martini and takes a sip of it. "Like I said, I've
been busy. Jeff has decided to divorce me," she tells him. "I've
had a lot going on."
"Okay, as long as you and I are cool."
Leah turns to him and puts
a smile on her face even though she hates lying to him. "Of course
we are okay," she says. "And look, we are having that drink
together now."
Robbie chuckles back to her. "That's very true. Cheers to us getting
that drink."
The Pier
Vinny and Victoria exit their embrace as she continues to be stunned to
see him alive and well. "I still can't believe this," she admits
to him. "We all thought you had died."
"I know," Vinny replies to her quickly, hoping that he is able
to lie his way through this encounter. The last thing he needed was for
someone to see him and now his ex-wife is standing in front of him. "And,
that's my own doing."
"But why? Why wouldn't you tell everyone that you survived?"
"Because," Vinny tells her, knowing that he has to cover his
tracks. "I was not exactly everyone's favorite person leading up
to the avalanche. Daisy and Tyler were not happy with me, my brother had
left town
I just thought it would be easier for everyone if they
thought I was dead."
"Where have you been staying?"
"At my family mansion outside of town," Vinny says back to her.
"I know you that you're friendly with Daisy and Tyler but if you
could keep this to yourself, I'd appreciate that."
Victoria shakes her head back to him. "You don't know?"
"Know what?"
"Daisy," Victoria
starts to tell him. "She is believed to be dead from the avalanche.
We had a memorial for her today."
"My God," Vinny covers his mouth acting surprised. "I can't
believe she's gone."
"Maybe she's not
if you survived, maybe Daisy did too, somehow?"
Vinny shakes his head back to her. "I got off the mountain before
the avalanche struck. If Daisy was on the mountain, there's no way she
would have survived. I saw the avalanche, Daisy must be dead."
Victoria pulls Vinny into another hug. "I'm just so relieved that
you're okay. We've been through so much together, Vinny. I am glad you're
okay."
"You might be the only person in town to say that," he uneasily
tells her as they continue to hug. He hopes that he was able to cover
his tracks well enough with Victoria because the last thing he needs is
for Victoria to start asking more questions.
Chris' Townhouse
"Now that Andrew is gone, you can be honest with me," Chris
tells Trenyce as they sit next to each other on the sofa. "How are
you really doing?"
"I'm fine," Trenyce replies to him. "I mean, as well as
to be expected."
"I wish Cheresa had been there today," he admits to her. "It
would have been nice to have our daughter's support."
"She will come around," Trenyce tells him. "Speaking of
Cheresa, the last time we saw her
"
"She asked us about the restraining order," Chris is reminded
of their conversation at the Sugarbowl where Cheresa asked them if they
had organized the restraining order against Dawn.
"Yea," Trenyce looks over at him. "You said you had nothing
to do with it. Is that the truth?"
"Why would you question me?" Chris looks back at her with intent.
"I don't know?" Trenyce admits to him. "It was just something
about the delay in your response, it's like you were trying to find the
right words to use."
Chris stands up from the sofa and runs his hand through his hair. "Okay,
I'll tell you the truth," he says back to her hoping that she will
understand what he is about to tell her. "A few weeks earlier, Greg
asked me to meet him on the pier."
"Why did Greg Lawson want to see you?"
"He told me he didn't like that Dawn was in Cheresa's life,"
Chris admits to her. "And, I happened to agree. So, together we decided
that it would be good to file the restraining order."
"You did what?" Trenyce gasps as she stands up from the sofa
and looks at Chris. "How could you do this?"
Chris shrugs back to her. "I thought we were doing the right thing!
I didn't think Cheresa would be so upset."
"Upset? She's livid! And you just made things even worse by lying
to her," Trenyce yells at him. "How in the hell is she ever
going to want to have a relationship with us, if you're lying to her!"
"Trey, let me explain
" Chris protests to her as she moves
away from him.
"No, you've done more than enough for one night," Trenyce turns
and spits back to him before she turns and grabs her coat. Shortly after,
Chris hears the front door of the townhouse slam shut.
He shuts his eyes and sighs heavily. "God, what have I gotten myself
into?"
Twin Peaks Storage Warehouses
On the east side of town, there is a storage locker warehouse where the
citizens of Twin Peaks can store some of their belongings. Cassie waits
outside a storage locker rubbing her hands together in the chilly February
air. She is waiting for her partner in crime to arrive so they can talk
about their plan to get revenge on Robbie and Natasha.
"Where are you?" she whispers to herself as she looks at her
watch. "You said you'd be right over."
"I'm here," a voice calls out from behind her. "Sorry to
keep you waiting."
Cassie turns around and sees Dominick slowly walk into the light under
the storage locker. "Now, what's the next step of our plan? Because
I need the Calimo's to pay just as much as you do."
The Cascade Apartments; Apartment 507; Craig's Apartment
"I
I don't know what you're talking about," a panicked
Lukas turns his back to Craig, who just admitted to him that he remembers
everything that happened in while they were trapped in the cave. Of course,
Lukas is now worried that this means that Craig remembers that they had
sex, which could hurt his marriage if the truth comes out.
"You can save it Lukas!" Craig raises his voice back to him.
"I kept having these dreams of being in the cave and slowly they
turned into sexual dreams. I kept dreaming that I was a bottom and it
didn't make sense to me."
"You had a fever," Lukas turns back to him feeling his heart
race inside his chest. "This could all be in your head!"
"No," Craig spits back to him. "I went to a doctor, he
said I had torn glands. I was so sore like I had bottomed, Lukas!"
"You're a top Craig," Lukas reminds him. "This is all a
misunderstanding."
"I remember!" Craig yells at him as they lock eyes. "You
raped me, Lukas! I remember that you topped me in the cave!"
Next on One Day at a Time
- Craig and Lukas continue to fight about the cave
- Andy gives Nicholas an answer to his suggestion to move in together
- Andrew gets angry with Abby
