Home Donovan slowly walks into the living room of the Richardson
estate and sees Lukas pouring himself a cup of coffee. Donovan pauses for a moment
as he recalls how the previous day he had to bail his husband out of jail after
Simona Lopez arrested him under rape charges against Craig. After Lukas was released,
Donovan demanded answers from his husband but Lukas stormed out. By the time Lukas
got home, Donovan has fallen asleep and when Donovan woke up, Lukas was already
out of bed. This is the first time he is seeing his husband and now, he needs
answers about what is going on. "Morning," Donovan finally
says something to him as he moves into the living room. "Can I have a cup
of that coffee?" "Of course," Lukas passes him his cup
of coffee and Donovan takes a sip. "Sorry about last night, you were passed
out by the time I got home. I didn't want to wake you up." "It
is fine," Donovan replies to him. "You're here now, so we can finally
get everything out on the table." "Yea," Lukas uneasily
nods back to him knowing that he has to tell Donovan the truth about what happened
in the cave because when he confronted Craig last night, Craig continued to insist
that he didn't give Lukas consent to the sex that they had. Lukas still thinks
that this is outrageous as he only slept with Craig to save his life. "It's
not going to be an easy conversation, I guess." "Where did
you go last night? I pleaded with you to let me know what was going on and you
just bolted out of here so fast," Donovan reminds him of the previous night.
"What was so urgent that couldn't wait?" "I went to see
Craig," Lukas admits to him. "I had to get to the bottom of the charges."
"And? What did Craig say?" "There's no easy way to
tell you this," Lukas looks into Donovan's eyes. "But, Craig and I,
we had sex while we were trapped in the cave last November after the avalanche.
I cheated on you with Craig." The Pampa Grill "Are
you sure you didn't miss hear things?" Cassie asks Max as they sit next to
one another at the bar of the restaurant as the mother and son are having breakfast
together. Max just told his mother that he overheard Jacob ask Paige out on a
date the night before and she said yes. Max, of course, left before either of
them saw him but he can't believe that this is happening as he and Paige haven't
been separated for that long. For her to already be ready to move on from their
relationship. "I'm sure," Max takes a bite of his toast and
looks over at her. "He asked her out and she said yes. What am I going to
do Mom? I thought that Paige would take me back eventually and now, she's moving
on with Jacob." Cassie sighs back to her son realizing that he still
cares about Paige a great deal. And, if she's honest, she knew that Jacob was
thinking of asking a girl out because she overheard Shane encourage him to ask
her out. She had no idea that the girl was Paige but in her mind, she would like
to get Paige out of the picture so she and Jacob could have a real shot at a relationship.
"There must be something we can do to prevent this from happening,"
Cassie replies to her son. "I know how much you care about Paige."
"It just sucks that I am not even going to get the chance to make it
up to her, you know? After everything we went through last year, I just want another
chance to show her how much she means to me." Cassie takes another
sip of her coffee as she arches her eyebrow. "I have an idea," Cassie
purses her lips back to her son. "Do you remember how livid Leah and Jeff
were that Paige was dating you last year?" "How could I forget?"
"Well," Cassie continues to explain to him. "Now, she is dating
a Calimo. Dominick always hated Bob and his children; how do you think they will
feel if they found out that Paige is now dating Jacob?" Max chuckles
back to his mother. "That's brilliant, Mom! But I can't be the one to say
anything. It'll bite me in the ass where Paige is concerned." "You
won't have to say anything," Cassie looks back at him. "Because, I will
do the honor myself." *** At the back corner table
of the restaurant, Jacob and Paige sit across from another. "Are you sure
you don't want a mimosa or something?" Jacob asks her before he takes a bite
of his eggs benedict. "No, coffee and orange juice are fine,"
Paige smiles back to him. "When you suggested we go on a date, I didn't expect
it would be breakfast the next morning." Jacob chuckles back to
her. "I just thought that we both had busy days ahead at Robertson, so why
not get enjoy the first meal of the day together? You're okay with this right?"
"I totally am," Paige takes a sip of her juice. "It's unconventional
and I like that." "I'm glad that I am impressing you on date
number one." "I've always been impressed with you, Jacob,"
Paige admits to him. "What you went through as a child with your lungs, it
is really commendable how far you've come since then. And, the way you stood up
for your family last year, that was also impressive. I don't really agree with
how you hurt people but I get why you did what you did." Jacob smiles
back to her. "That means a lot to me Paige. And for what it's worth, I have
learned my lesson about hurting people. That's not something I want to do anymore.
I didn't like what Cassie did to my parents but she is still a human being with
feelings too." "See, you learn from your mistakes. Not everyone
does that," Paige winks back to him thinking about Max and all the lies he
told her. "I'm glad this breakfast is going so well," Jacob
looks back at her. "Maybe it means we can have another date soon?"
"I'd like that a lot." The Sugarbowl "So,
how are you feeling this morning?" Cory looks over at Leah as they sit across
from each other in the back booth of the coffeehouse. He is asking her because
last night they ended up in bed, again, and had hot, passionate sex. He knows
that after the first time they made love, they agreed to only be friends but after
it happened a second time, he is left wondering if there is something more between
them. Leah sighs. "I guess I should thank you," she looks back
into him. "You gave me what I really needed last night." Cory
chuckles back to her. "I don't think I went home empty handed in the situation."
"That's fair," Leah replies to him. "I still believe that
if anyone knew what was happening between us it would create a lot of drama. Can
we keep this between us until we know what's going on?" "That
sounds perfect," Cory nods back to her. "How about a coffee?"
"I'd love that." "Be right back," Cory tells
her as he exits the booth, just as Robbie and Natasha walk into the coffeehouse.
Natasha immediately sees Cory standing in the lineup and looks over to Robbie.
"Go say hi to him, you know you want too," Robbie tells his sister.
"Besides, I see Leah in the booth, I'll go say hi." "Okay,"
Natasha uneasily nods back to him. "I do have something I want to run by
him." "Be strong," Robbie whispers to hers before he moves
to the back booth to see Leah. "Hey, fancy meeting you here."
"Robbie, uh, hi," Leah nervously says back to him as she turns her head
to see where Cory is. The last thing she wants is for Robbie to realize that she
is there with Cory, the morning after they had sex again. "What's up?"
"I just came in for my morning fix and saw you," Robbie admits
to her. "How've you been?" "Ugh, I've been better,"
she replies to him. "Jeff and Meggan are back together. Can you believe that?
After all that custody case nonsense, they decided to get back together and raise
Logan together. Such a waste of time." "Is that the reason
you're upset with the news?" Robbie asks her. "Or is that Jeff is with
Meggan and not you?" Leah feels her eyes swell with water. "I
won't pine over a man who doesn't want me. Life is too short!" "It's
okay to be upset, Leah, it really is, you just have to be honest with yourself."
Leah lets a tear fall down her cheek as Robbie grabs her hand. "Fine,
it hurts like hell, happy now?" she tries to chuckle back to him. "Thanks
for being there for me, Robbie." "Always Leah, you know that."
Back at the counter, Cory grabs the two coffees and then sees Robbie and
Leah holding hands and feels his heart move into his throat at the sight. He doesn't
want to admit that he is jealous at the sight but he knows that Leah and Robbie
have a very long, sorted history together. And, he and Leah aren't serious, so
why does he care? He asks himself as he moves to the bar to put some cream and
sugar into the coffees. "Why the second coffee?" Natasha comes
up to her estranged husband. "Or did you see me and know that I needed one?"
"I am meeting someone," Cory replies to her quickly. "How's
Sophie? We still haven't rescheduled that play date, not that I should have to
schedule a time to see my daughter." "We can make time today,
I promise," Natasha tells him. "Something happened the other day that
I wanted to ask you about." "Okay? What happened?"
"Jeff Claus was here and he was asking me all the questions," Natasha
reveals to him. "What kind of questions?" "Like
when we first started having problems and if we were going to get back together,"
Natasha tells Cory. "At the time, it didn't strike me as odd but it is. Jeff
and I, we aren't close, so why would he want to know about our marriage?"
Cory shrugs back to her. "I have no idea," he reveals to her. "Look,
I have to run. Please text me about that time with Sophie
and sign the
divorce papers, Nat. Let's not drag this out any longer than we have too?"
Natasha uneasily nods back to him, still feeling like there is nothing that
she can to Cory to make him change his mind about the divorce. Outside
the coffeehouse, Cory pulls out his phone and sends a text to Leah, "Come
to my place for the coffee when you're finished with Robbie." He smiles to
himself before he starts walking back to his penthouse. Twin Peaks
Police Station "Thank you both for coming by this morning,"
Simona tells Trenyce and Tyler as they move into her office and she closes the
door behind her guests. "I questioned Vinny Victors last night about surviving
the avalanche and about Daisy's death." "That was fast,"
Tyler replies to her before he looks over at Trenyce as they sit next to one another.
He hopes that this means that something has finally been uncovered in Daisy's
disappearance. "What did Vinny say?" "I didn't want to
wait," Simona admits to them. "After your last visit when you told me
that Vinny was still alive, I wanted to act quickly before he had a chance to
come up with a cover story, if there was one." "So, don't keep
us waiting," Trenyce uneasily says back to her. "What did Vinny say?
Is Daisy alive?" "He claims that she died in the avalanche,"
Simona reveals to them. "He claimed that she was further up the mountain
when the avalanche struck and that is how he was able to escape."
"That is exactly what he told me too," Tyler tells them as he thinks
back to his own confrontation with Vinny at his mansion. "But, is it true?"
"After Vinny left, I discussed with park ranger who headed the initial
search after the avalanche; based on their analysis, he was telling the truth,
Daisy was further up on the mountain when the avalanche occurred."
"How can they be so sure?" Tyler demands to know from her. "This
is crazy! How can three people come out alive but
" "Look,
I appreciate that you two are upset about Daisy's passing," Simona cuts him
off. "But, if the park ranger is telling me that he has confirmed the location
of the victims on the mountain, I'm going to take his word for it. I understand
this is painful, but for the last time, this case is closed as I believe that
Daisy Davenport died on that mountain." "And if she didn't,
you and this entire police department will answer to me," Tyler stands up
and yells at her. "And me!" Trenyce echoes Tyler's statements.
"This isn't over, not by a long shot." The Victors Mansion
"Victoria, what a surprise," Vinny opens his front door to his
mansion and sees his ex-wife standing on the other side of his door. The last
person he expected to see this morning was Victoria, although she did run into
him on the pier the other day, which is why people now know that he is alive and
well. Part of him knows that he should be upset with her as he asked her to not
say anything but she still did. "What brings you by?" "Do
you even have to ask?" Victoria moves into the foyer hold a paper bag in
her hand. "You're alive Vinny! I still can't believe it and I wanted to catch
up with you. So, I brought coffee and muffins from the Sugarbowl. I know you love
the blueberry muffins from there." Vinny uneasily chuckles back
to her. "They are my favorite, this is true. I am still technically mad at
you though for telling Tyler and Trenyce that I'm alive." "I
know you asked me not to say anything," Victoria admits to him. "But
the fact is, they have really been put through the ringer since the avalanche,
thinking that Daisy was dead. I just wanted them to know in case there was a chance
that Daisy was alive." "I suppose I can understand that,"
Vinny nods back to her. "But, she is dead. I spoke to Simona Lopez last night
and she took my statement. She is seemingly on the same page as me about Daisy's
death." "Then my heart goes out to Tyler and Trenyce,"
Victoria tells him. "But as long as they know what is going on, then they
can start to mourn." Vinny chuckles back to her. "I wish it
was that simple." "Why wouldn't it be?" "Because,"
Vinny replies to her quickly. "Tyler thinks that I am lying and that Daisy
is alive. I have no idea how I could have saved her from the avalanche. This is
exactly why I didn't tell anyone that I was alive; they always think the worst
of me." "I don't think the worst of you," Victoria tells
him as she moves closer to him. "I never did, Vinny. I believe you if you
tell me that Daisy is dead." Vinny smiles back to her, thrilled
to finally have someone on his side. "I appreciate that more than you know.
Now, how about we eat those muffins and catch up on you?" "I'd
love that," Victoria chuckles back to him as she turns to follow him into
the mansion. The Pampa Grill "I'm really sorry to
hear that Trey," Chris tells Trenyce as they move into the restaurant together
as she just told him about her meeting with Simona and Tyler. He knows that she
was hoping that Simona would find something to help prove that Daisy is still
alive; he can only imagine that Trenyce learning that he case was closed, again,
was a hard pill to swallow. "Thanks," Trenyce coldly replies
to him, still not able to forgive him for lying to Cheresa. "Did Albertinah
tell you why she wanted to see us today?" "No but I have a
pretty idea of what this is." "You both came, great,"
Albertinah stands up from her seat when Chris and Trenyce arrive at her table.
"Of course, you made it seem important," Trenyce sits across from
her after giving her a quick hug. "What's up?" "I'm leaving
town this morning," Albertinah quickly replies to them. "I have a plane
to catch in an hour." "What? So soon?" Trenyce gasps back
to her, surprised by the news. "I need to leave town to get my life
back in order," Albertinah explains to them. "Losing my job and that
damn award, it's made me realize that I have to get it together and I can't do
that here." "I knew this was coming and I wish I could change
your mind but I understand," Chris stands up and hugs his sister again. "I
love you so much Tina, I just hope you find the peace that you're seeking."
"I will be in touch with both of you," Albertinah smiles back to
them with tears in her eyes. "This isn't goodbye, not by a long shot."
"Good, cause we won't let you leave our lives again," Trenyce reaches
over and grabs her hand. "You're stuck with us now." ***
Cassie finishes paying her and Max's bill and then collects her purse. She
starts to move towards the door so she can get to Roboto as Max has already left
or Robertson Enterprises. As she moves to the door, she happens to see Jeff walking
into the restaurant. She immediately gets a smirk on her face knowing that she
has to have a little discussion with him. "Jeff, morning,"
Cassie approaches him. "We need to talk." Jeff looks back at
Cassie in surprise since he hasn't had much interaction with her previously. "I'm
not sure what we would have to discuss, Cassie." "This is about
your daughter, Paige." Jeff looks back at her with worry on his
face. "Is she okay?" "That remains to be seen," Cassie
pouts her lips together. "Did you know she's started dating again?"
Jeff shakes his head no. "I had no idea. I'm not sure why this is a
concern for you?" "It's not," Cassie admits to him. "I
just wanted you to know that she's dating a Calimo. And I know your families sorted
history with the Calimo's." "She's dating a Calimo? Who?"
"Jacob," Cassie replies to him quickly. "Paige is dating Jacob."
The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas & Donovan's Home
"I
I don't think I heard you correctly," Donovan feels the blood
drain from his face after hearing the words that Lukas just told him: he and Craig
had sex while trapped in the cave. "You slept with Craig while on the side
of the mountain?" "It wasn't like that," Lukas tries to
tell Donovan who moves to sit down, feeling gutted from the news. "Craig
had this high fever, I tried to break it, so I crawled into the bed that I made
for him. He started to grope me and call out my name
it just happened."
Donovan shakes his head in confusion. "I thought he was out of it because
of the fever?" "He was! I know this sounds crazy," Lukas
replies to him. "But the fact is, if I hadn't given him my body heat, I don't
think he would have survived. I think I saved his life!" "You
had sex with him when he was barely conscious Lukas!" Donovan yells at him.
"It's no wonder he felt like you raped him. My God," Donovan gasps.
"This is why he felt raw for so long! You did this! And you let him think
he was imagining things! How could you do this?" "I honestly
thought I was saving his life, Donovan," Lukas pleads with him. "Tell
me you believe me! Tell me that you believe that I did this for his own good."
"I can't," Donovan admits to him. "I don't know what to believe
anymore because you have been lying to me, you've been lying to everyone for months
Lukas! You tell me, how the hell am I supposed to believe anything you say when
all you do is lie?" Donovan yells at his husband, who gulps back to him,
wondering how he can get out of the mess he has made. Next on One
