Cascade Apartments; Apartment 507; Craig's Home "Hang on, I'm
coming," Craig calls out as he hears someone knocking on his door non-stop.
He takes a deep breath before he opens the door as he hopes that it's not Lukas
coming back to plead with him to drop the rape charges that he filed against him.
In Craig's mind, Lukas should pay for what he did to him in the cave. Craig knows
that for weeks after they were saved, he felt raw and discomfort because Lukas
took advantage of him. He refuses to back down from this, no matter what the consequences
are. He braces him and then opens the front door, where he sees Donovan standing.
"Donovan, I wasn't expecting you." "Can I come in?"
Donovan shrugs back to him as he looks at his friendly closely. He isn't sure
what he is looking for but he feels like he needs to see if he can notice a change
or a difference in Craig. Donovan feels numb after just learning from his husband
that he slept with Craig in the cave last fall. "Of course,"
Craig lets him move into the apartment. "I am assuming I know why you're
here?" "Lukas told me everything about what happened in the
cave," Donovan admits to him. "I know that you two slept together."
"You have to understand something," Craig immediately responds
to him. "I was so out of it with my fever, I had no idea what was going on."
"Before the avalanche," Donovan looks back at him. "Did you
want my husband?" Craig uneasily looks back at him, thinking about
the months of flirting that went down between himself and Lukas. "What does
that have to do with anything?" "Lukas told me that he crawled
into the bed with you to give you body heat and you were calling out his name,"
Donovan admits to him. "Why would you call out his name if Lukas hadn't been
on your mind?" "Are you trying to justify why Lukas raped me?"
"I'm just trying to get the full picture here," Donovan tells him.
"I just want to know what was happening and how we can solve this."
"How we can solve this?" Craig laughs back to him. "There's
only one solution and that is for Lukas to go to jail for a very long time."
Robertson Enterprises; Leah's Office "If this is about
the divorce, I will sign the papers soon," Leah uneasily tells Jeff as they
stand together in her office at Robertson Enterprises. Leah hasn't seen Jeff since
he threw the divorce papers at her after she testified at Logan's custody hearing.
She knows that her estranged husband has been livid with her for her role in keeping
Logan away from him for so long; she is only hoping that with the news that he
and Meggan have reunited that he will be able to forgive her and move on from
all the anger he has expressed. "This isn't about the divorce,"
Jeff replies to her quickly. "I am here today to discuss out daughter."
"Paige? What about her? Is she okay?" "Yea, she's
fine," Jeff tells her quickly. "It was brought to my attention that
she is seeing someone new. I guess her and Max have ended things."
"Yea, I heard about her and Max," Leah admits to him. "But, I didn't
know that she was seeing someone new already. Who is it? Do we know him?"
"We do know him," Jeff says back to her. "And if you thought
Max Black was bad news just wait until you hear this
" "You're
scaring me Jeff," Leah uneasily looks back to him. "Who is Paige dating
now?" "Jacob," Jeff tells her. "You and I both know
how your father and Bob Calimo were at odds for decades and the rivalry between
Robertson Enterprises and Roboto is still going on. I don't think Paige and Jacob
should be seeing one another. I think this is a huge disaster."
Leah takes a deep breath as she hears what Jeff is telling her. She looks back
at him in concern. "I agree with you," Leah replies to him quickly.
"But, we will have to proceed with this carefully. I don't want Paige to
react the same way she did when we were so opposed to dating Max last year."
"I'm just glad we are on the same page," Jeff nods back to her.
"Now, the question becomes: how are we going to going to keep them apart?"
*** Cassie stands up from the bench that is outside the Robertson
Enterprises building when she sees Jacob walking towards the entrance. After she
saw Jeff earlier in the day and told him that Jacob was dating Paige, Cassie knew
that she had to talk to Jacob himself to try to tell him that he is making a mistake
getting involved with her. At the same time, if she can help Max get Paige back
that is an added bonus. "Jacob," she rushes over to him, as
he looks over and sees his ex-fiancé rushing towards him. "I'm glad
I saw you before you started work today." "What is it Cassie?
I'm running late today," he looks back at her as her long blonde hair moves
in the wind a little. "Hello to you too," she purses her lips
together. "I wanted to see if the rumors were true." Jacob
arches his eyebrow back to her. "Rumors? What rumors are you talking about?"
"About you and Paige Claus," she tells him. "The rumors are
that you are dating her now." Jacob shakes his head back to her
in disgust. He knows that whatever he does in his personal life is no one else's
business, especially Cassie's. "Whatever I do in my free time is my business,"
Jacob replies to her quickly. "I know that I hurt you last year, Cassie.
But I really am trying to move on with my life. Can you please do the same?"
"I have moved on," she lies to him quickly. "I just wanted
you to know that if you are dating Paige, you better watch your back. She's bad
news." "Whatever, I don't have time for this."
"Jacob," Cassie calls out as Jacob starts walking into the building
as he doesn't want to listen to her anymore. "Ask your father about Paige.
He'll tell you everything!" Cassie sighs as Jacob enters the building
without turning around. She gets a sly grin on her face knowing that he heard
what she said; she knows that Jacob will be asking Shane about Paige, and that's
all that she needed to have happen. *** Meanwhile, down
in the studio, Paige walks in with a smile on her face as her breakfast date with
Jacob went better than she thought it would. She always knew he was a good guy
but getting to know him on a more intimate level was really eye opening for her.
She already is looking forward to their next date. "Someone is happy
this morning," Max observes to his ex-girlfriend. "Having a good morning?"
"I am actually," Paige nods back to him. "And, I don't want
anything to ruin that." "That smile wouldn't have anything
to do with Jacob, would it?" Paige uneasily looks back at him. "Why
would you say that?" "Word on the street is that you two are
dating now," Max reveals to her. "Is that true?" "We
had a date, yes," Paige nods back to him. "I wouldn't say we are dating
but getting to know one another. Not that it is any of your business, Max."
"I still care you Paige," Max moves closer to her. "I know
that you ended things with me but that doesn't mean that my feelings just went
away. I'm worried about you being with Jacob." "You don't have
to worry about me, Max." "Do you remember what he did to my
Mom?" Max asks her, ignoring her plead. "He took her to cleaners and
back again. He's not a good guy." "Let me make that decision
please," Paige looks back at him. "Besides, from what I know of him,
he isn't keeping a million secrets like someone I know," she tells him, knowing
that her words will sting him. "Now, if we are going to work together, you
aren't going to constantly press me to reveal details of my personal life, okay?"
"Yea sure," Max tries to nod back to her. "Just promise you'll
watch yourself. I don't trust Jacob, not one little bit." The
Sugarbowl Abby sits in the back booth by herself with a hot chocolate
in front of her as her mind is racing about how she went to see Andrew recently
hoping that they would end up in bed together again, only he told her that he
used her for sex and he actually doesn't have any feelings for her. She can't
believe that she fell for that; ever since Andrew told her the truth, she has
felt incredibly dirty and ashamed of herself. She should have known better but
she has been in love with Andrew for so long, she thought he was actually coming
around to her. "Why was I so dumb?" she asks herself as she
takes a sip of her drink. "He thinks he's so damn clever but he's not. When
he realizes how good our sex was, he will come back to me, I know he will. He
has too." She looks straight ahead and wonders what she will do
if Andrew never comes around to her. "No, that's impossible. He has to. He
just has too, and I think I know what I can do to help my cause," she tells
herself as she stands uo from the booth and prepares to leave. As soon as she
stands up though, she feels light headed and grabs the table to hold herself up.
"Whoa," she tells herself. "I must have gotten up too fast,"
she regains her composure and takes a deep breath. "Stay calm, you're fine.
You're fine," she tells herself as she grabs her purse and then proceeds
to leave the coffeehouse. The Pampa Grill "Are you
ready for this?" Dawn asks Cheresa as they sit together at a table in the
back of the restaurant waiting for Chris and Trenyce to arrive. Dawn looks at
her girlfriend and can see that she is worried about the pending meeting that
they are going to have but Dawn is happy that Cheresa reached out to her biological
parents. "As ready as I'll ever be," Cheresa looks back at
her. "Thanks for encouraging me to do this." "Of course,"
Dawn smiles back to her. "The restraining order was dropped, we can't hold
on to this anger forever. Especially with your Mom's trial coming, that will be
another huge event to get over." "You're right."
"I hope we aren't too late," Trenyce announces as she and Chris move
up to the table and sit across from the two younger women. "Not
at all," Dawn tells them as she and Chris share a look of uncertainty. "Thanks
for coming." "We just hope that this will be a pleasant meeting,"
Chris tells them. "Trenyce and I, we want to put this restraining order nonsense
behind us." Trenyce uneasily rolls her eyes subtly knowing that
she hasn't forgiven Chris for his in the restraining order drama. "What
you did," Cheresa looks back over at Chris. "Was mean and cruel and
I don't trust you completely yet, but Dawn has helped me realize that we can't
hold on to this anger forever. So, I'd like to try to start putting this behind
us, if that's possible" "Of course it is," Chris nods
back to her before he looks at Dawn. "For what it's worth Dawn, I am sorry
and I do thank you very much for helping Cheresa with all this confusion going
on." "There's nothing I wouldn't do for Cheresa," Dawn
smiles back to them. "Well good," Trenyce chuckles back to
her. "So, how are things going with Brooke's
trial?" "I don't know all the details," Cheresa admits
to them. "But I am worried that something bad will happen to her. And that
would be the worst possible outcome. That is my main focus know, helping my Mom
through her trial. So, you two have to respect that I might not be jumping through
hoops for you; Brooke is my main concern," Cheresa informs them as Trenyce
and Chris try to see the positive in what she is saying, even though they are
both still hurt that she's not ready to have a full relationship with them.
*** At another table in the other corner of the restaurant,
Brooke sits with Greg and Josh Levitt in a close huddle as they review some items
for her trial, which is quickly approaching. They are working so hard that they
didn't even notice Cheresa or Dawn come into the restaurant. "So,
how is it looking? And please, be honest with me," Brooke looks over at Greg
with a worried look on her face. She hopes that he will be able to come up with
a good enough defense that she won't have to do any serious jail time for buying
Cheresa from the black market all those years ago. "In my honest
opinion, I think we have a great case," Josh takes a sip of his water. "We
have a lot of really strong points to go off, like the fact that you and Greg
gave Cheresa a wonderful home. It's not like Cheresa was abused or anything; she's
been loved since day one." "We can both testify to that,"
Greg chimes in. "Anything to ensure Brooke doesn't suffer."
"Our other strong point is that this happened so long ago," Josh continues
to tell them. "I'm really going to press the statute of limitations on the
case." "Do you think that would work?" Brooke asks him
trying not to get overly excited. "It's hard to say," Josh
admits to her. "But, it's worth a shot. Look, I'm not saying that this case
is a slam dunk, but I think we have a very good chance at winning."
Greg reaches over and grabs Brooke's hand causing her to look back at him. "This
is all very good news," he tries to stay positive with his estranged wife.
"We can win this, Brooke! I know we can!" "I hope you're
right," Brooke uneasily nods back to him, before she looks at his hand on
hers. "My God, I hope you're right." *** At
the bar, Felicia sits next to Tyler with a glass of sparkling water in front of
her while her son drinks a beer. She knows that he is upset with the news that
Simona Lopez has, once again, called off the investigation into Daisy's death.
She had hoped that by holding a memorial service for Daisy that it would allow
Tyler to start to move on, which it did until they learned that Vinny was still
alive and well. Now, she is just hoping that she is able to get through to her
son about trying to move on. "Darling, you're being so quiet,"
Felicia tells him as she looks over at him. "Are you sure you want to be
here? We could stop for beer on the way home and be in the comfort of your own
home?" "Nah, being out is good for me," Tyler slowly tells
her as he takes a sip of his beer. "I need to be around people. I think if
I was home alone I'd crawl into bed and never want to leave." "Oh
Tyler," Felicia puts her hand on his back. "This isn't good for you.
You need to find something to keep your mind off of Daisy." "Like
what, Mom? This situation has been such a mess. I feel like there's nothing I
can do." "Well, what if you went back to work?" Felicia
suggests to him. "You know that your father would love to have you back at
Robertson Enterprises? You're a wonderful business man and it might help you move
your focus off Daisy and her death?" "I just
I don't know
if I could focus on work right now Mom," Tyler admits to her. "I am
feeling so devastated." "I know baby," Felicia pulls him
into a hug. "But this might be the new start that you need? Just promise
me that you'll think about it, okay?" *** Kim opens
the front door and scurries in side looking to grab some food before she heads
back to Roboto. As she waits for the hostess, she recalls how she suggested to
Robbie, Natasha & Cassie that they do something in Dominick's personal life
to create chaos to ensure he is too distracted to do another Gravity launch. Natasha
was against the idea since she claimed her mother was married to Dominick, which
Kim knows is true but she doesn't care if Eva
gets caught in the cross fire; she cares about Roboto coming out on top.
Before she can say anything to the hostess, Kim's cell phone starts to ring. She
pulls it out of her purse and arches her eyebrow when she doesn't recognize the
number. "Kim Calimo," she says into her phone. "Yes, this is her.
How can I help you?" she asks as there's a long pause. "Oh, that's interesting.
Yes, I did work with Will Coutts to send Ryan McQuillian to jail, that was years
ago." There's another long pause. "I see, well, yes, I think Will getting
out on parole would a good thing. He was always a good young man, thank you so
much for letting me know." Kim hangs up the phone and shakes her
head back to herself as she just learned that Will might be getting out of jail
on parole. She knows that years ago she teamed up with Will to bring down Jackson's
brother, Ryan, who was selling drugs. Of course, Will was later sentenced to jail
after he was caught killing older patients at the hospital. Then suddenly it dawns
on Kim: Will also had a torrid affair with Eva years ago. "Will
is getting out of jail," she whispers to herself. "Maybe he could be
the way to create some chaos in Dominick's marriage." The Richardson
Estate; Meggan, Lukas & Donovan's Home "Okay, so you and
Craig had sex in the cave," Meggan paces back and forth in the living room
of her home as her brother just finished filling her in on the latest drama with
the rape charges. "That doesn't mean that you raped him for crying out loud!"
"That's what I've been saying," Lukas nods back to her as he pours
himself a drink of scotch and then takes a sip of it. "Craig and I, we had
been flirting for months leading up to the avalanche. And when he was feverish,
he was calling out my name
he wanted it. These rape charges are Craig throwing
a temper tantrum." Meggan uneasily nods back to him. "You know
I support you," she replies to his brother. "But these charges, they
are serious. You have to take them that way." "There's no way
Craig will win this if it goes to court." "I don't think it
should go that far." "What do you mean?" he asks her back
as he takes another sip of his drink. "Lukas," Meggan looks
back at him sternly. "I think you need to do whatever it takes to make these
charges go away." The Cascade Apartments; Apartment 507; Craig's
Apartment "You can't be serious about that Craig," a stunned
Donovan says back to Craig, who just old him that he wants Lukas to spend a lot
of time in jail for raping him. "Can't we settle this without jail time?"
"I didn't consent to the sex!" Craig yells back to him. "If
you can live with the fact that your husband raped me, that's on you Donovan but
don't make me!" "I
" "I'll say this
for the last time," Craig cuts him off. "I didn't consent to bottom
for your husband in that cave and that makes it rape. Now, if you have nothing
else to say, I'll see you guys in court." Donovan uneasily nods
back to him and quickly leaves Craig's apartment. In the hallway, Donovan covers
his mouth in shock as tears fill his eyes. "What have you done, Lukas?"
