The Victors Mansion "I almost can't believe my eyes,"
Andrew says as he stands in the living room of the old mansion that has a first
century gothic feel to it looking at his uncle Vinny, who is very much alive and
well. When Andrew learned that Vinny was alive, he came over to see his uncle
to see if it was true; after the avalanche, Andrew was upset that Vinny was believed
to be dead as he and Vinny were just started to get close. Now that he is alive,
Andrew doesn't want to waste the opportunity to be closer to his family again.
"You're really alive." Vinny chuckles back to him as he moves
up to Andrew and pulls him into a hug. "I'm sorry that I didn't you myself
that I arose from the dead," he tells him as they exit their embrace. "You
know that I wasn't Twin Peaks' favorite person when the avalanche struck."
"None of that matters now," Andrew shakes his head back to his
uncle. "You're alive and now we have a chance to make things right again.
You and I, we are family, we should be closer." "I couldn't
agree with you more," Vinny nods back to him before he moves to the bar.
"Have a scotch with me?" "Sure but just one," Andrew
replies to him. "I do have to drive back to town." "You
know this place has more than enough room if you ever want to crash over night
or something. I'd like the company sometimes." "Let's plan
for that," Andrew accepts the drink from his uncle. "I will bring my
overnight bag and we can make an evening out of it." "That
sounds great," Vinny toasts him. "You're my last connection to Dave
and since I'm not close to Brett, you're the only family I have left Andrew."
"I feel the same about you," Andrew takes a drink of his scotch.
"I never knew my father and with my Mom being gone
let's make a pack
to always be there for each other?" "That's something I will
definitely drink too," Vinny smiles back to him before he takes a sip of
his scotch. The Lawson Estate; Greg, Brooke, Brad, Cheresa & Abby's
Home "Abby, what's gotten into you? You look like you've seen
a ghost?" Cheresa asks her sister, who comes rushing into the living room
of their family estate. Cheresa can't help but think that Abby looks pale and
like she's going to be sick; she hopes her sister isn't coming down with something.
"I'm fine, I just need some water," Abby replies to her quickly,
still reeling from the fact that she is pregnant. She told Max her news and he
was determined to figure out if he or Andrew was the father of her child. The
last thing she needs right now is for Max to pressure her into having some kind
of paternity test. "Are you sure that's all it is? I'd hate for
you to come down with something so close to Mom's trial." Abby turns
to face her sister. "Oh Cheresa," she says as she pulls her sister into
a hug as tears start swelling in her eyes. "I've made such a mess of things
and, if I am honest, I have no idea how I am going to fix it." Cheresa
arches her eyebrows as she holds her sister wondering what she is talking about.
"I don't know what you're talking about, exactly, Abs, but you're the strongest
person I know," Cheresa tells her as they exit their embrace and Abby wipes
her eyes dry. "Whatever it is that you're going through, you will come out
the other side, you always do." Abby uneasily nods back to her.
"Thanks, I guess I needed to hear that." "Dawn should
be here anytime," Cheresa replies to her. "Why don't you hang out with
us?" "Nah," Abby shakes her head back to her. "I
think I'm going to lay down. I'm not feeling so great." "Okay,"
Cheresa grabs Abby's hand. "I'm here if you need me." "Thanks,
love you," Abby tells her as she scurries away. Cheresa sighs heavily
as she wonders what is going on with her sister. She grabs her glass of water
and takes a sip of it until she hears the doorbell ring, which means that Dawn
has likely arrived at her house. Cheresa quickly moves towards the front door
and sees Dawn on the other side. "Hey you," Cheresa gives her
girlfriend a quick kiss on the lips. "I'm so glad you're here."
"Yea, me too," Dawn replies to her. "You won't believe what
has happened to my family now." Cheresa uneasily looks back to her.
"What's going on now?" "Robin Navy," Dawn rolls her
eyes back to her. "She gave my Dad an ultimatum if he wanted to get back
together with her and guess what? He took too. My family will never be the same
now thanks to that woman." "Come here," Cheresa pulls
her into a hug. "You have to trust that it will all work out. Look at what
I've gone through and things are starting to look up. You'll get there, I know
you will." The Sugarbowl "So, you spoke to
Cheresa already?" Trenyce asks Brad as they sit in the back booth across
from one another with coffees in front of them. Trenyce recalls how Brad offered
to talk to Cheresa about her future relationship with her and Chris after Cheresa
told them that Brooke's trial was going to be her top priority. "I
did," Brad nods back to her as his eyes lock into hers for a brief moment.
"I just came from seeing her." "And?" Trenyce asks
him quickly. "How did it go?" "What's going on here?"
Chris asks as he approaches the back table having seen the two of them in what
appeared to be a heated conversation. He was hopeful that Trenyce was starting
to forgive him for his role in the restraining order drama when they saw Cheresa
recently but now that she is cozied up with Brad, he has to wonder if there is
something going on between the two of them. "Chris," Trenyce
uneasily replies to him. "Come sit with us, I'll fill you in."
"Uh, sure," Chris sits next to her. "Brad offered to talk
to Cheresa for me so I could get a real grasp on what her future holds and could
hold for us," she reveals to him, which catches him by surprise. He had no
idea that Brad and Trenyce were this close. "Brad was just about to tell
me what Cheresa said." Chris and Trenyce look over at Brad. "She's
worried about the trial," Brad reveals to them. "She will have to testify
so she is trying to put everything aside until after the trial. That would include
trying to have any kind of relationship with you two." "This
damn trial," Trenyce rolls her eyes. "It seems like it's doing nothing
but causing problems." "How can you say that?" Chris asks
her as he looks back at her. "You know how Brooke got Cheresa in the first
place, don't you? She bought our daughter from the black market!"
"You don't have to remind me of that," Trenyce hisses back to him. "But
imagine if she hadn't, where would our daughter be today? I don't know Chris,
maybe the best way to get Cheresa in our lives sooner and to end this all is to
drop the charges against Brooke?" "You'd consider that?"
Brad asks back in surprise, hoping that his mother's nightmare might be over sooner
rather later. "No," Chris answers for Trenyce, who sighs. "Brooke
will stand trial for what she did. That is not up for negotiation."
*** At the window seats, Robbie and Natasha sit next to one another
as she takes a bite of her chocolate chip muffin. They wanted to stop in and grab
a quick bite before heading into Roboto for the day. Robbie, however, is telling
his sister about how he saw Cory and Leah together the previous day. He didn't
realize that they had come close and then he proceeded to tell Cory to stay away
from his ex-wife. "Did you know that Cory and Leah had grown closer?"
Robbie asks her before he takes a sip of his coffee. Natasha shakes her
head no. "I had no idea," Natasha replies to him. "I mean, what
he said though does make sense. He is going through a divorce, Jeff is divorcing
Leah, maybe they are just talking about failed relationships and stuff? Besides,
she didn't say anything earlier when I saw her at the Pampa Grill."
Robbie groans back to her. "Yea, I guess so," he tells her. "I
dunno, there was something about the way they were interacting with one another
that left me with a bad taste in my mouth." "What do you think
they were talking about?" Natasha asks him back. "I mean, they have
known each other for a long time?" "I don't know, it was just
weird, that's all I'm saying." "Okay, I can ask him about it
next time he comes to see Sophie," Natasha tells her brother. "I'm sure
it's nothing." "You're right," Robbie nods back to her,
still unable to get the feeling that something isn't right out of his mind. "I'm
sure I'm overreacting." The Glubbs House; Shane's Home
"I swear if you called me over this morning to talk to me about my dating
Paige, I'm going to lose it," Jacob chuckles to Shane as they sit in the
living room of Shane's home. Jacob knows that almost everyone has seemingly had
an opinion about him and Paige dating, despite the fact that they've only had
one real date. He has no idea why people are getting so uptight about this; they
are just enjoying each other's company. Shane uneasily chuckles back
to him. "I did see Leah, Jeff and your mother about that," Shane admits
to him. "You should be aware, your mother was not happy to learn from someone
else that you are working at Robertson." Jacob rolls his eyes. "Great,
I guess I'll have to brace myself for that conversation." "Go
easy on Natasha," Shane replies to him. "She just wants what's best
for you; just like I do." Jacob looks back at his Dad. "Okay,
so tell me why I shouldn't be seeing Paige then," he winks back to him. "I
know its coming." Shane chuckles back to him. "We just want
you to be careful Jacob," Shane tells his son. "Paige and her family
have done a lot of things to hurt our family. It's a very long and complicated
history." "I know the families have had a feud for a long time
but what does that have to do with Paige?" "A few years ago,
Paige had a crush on me," Shane reveals to Jacob, who looks back at him in
surprise. "She went to great lengths to try to have a relationship with me."
"Wait, what? What did she do?" "She got me drunk
at the cabin," Shane continues to tell him. "After I passed out, she
made it look like we had slept together. Of course, we hadn't, but she continued
on with the lie and I was charged with statutory rape. It wasn't until she was
on the witness stand that she broke down and confessed the truth to everyone."
"That's intense," Jacob nods back to him. "So you
can see part of our concern," Shane says back to him. "I know you'll
do whatever you want but just please be careful." "I will Dad,"
Jacob replies to him. "But don't you think she's changed since then?"
Shane shakes his head back to him. "I have no idea," he admits
to his son. "But if she did that to me, what could she do to you?"
The Victors Mansion Daisy lays on the cot in the cage that
she is sharing with Brett and stares at the ceiling. She has lost count of how
many days she has been in the cage with Brett but she feels like she is slowly
losing hope on the idea that she will ever escape from Vinny's clutches. She looks
over and sees a shirtless Brett doing some sit-ups. "Look at you
being productive today," she tells him as he stops and looks up at her, his
toned chest covered with some glistening sweat. "Nothing else going
on, thought I might as well try to keep up the body," he laughs back to her.
"Never know when I'll meet a nice lady." "Very funny,"
Daisy replies to him quickly. "Ugh, I am going to stir crazy!"
"I thought you were focused on thinking of a way to get out of here?"
"Ugh," Daisy groans back to him. "I think I'm starting to
lose hope, Brett. I think you're right. There's no way out of here. The only thing
we can hope for is that someone finds us and even that seems like a long shot."
"Hey, it could be worse," Brett moves over to her cot and sits
on the edge of it. "We could be alone in here. At least we have each other."
"Yea, we have each other," Daisy tries to put a smile on her face.
"That is better than nothing." *** Vinny opens
the front door and sees Victoria standing on the other side. "Victoria, another
visit so soon? Must be my lucky day," Vinny says as he allows her into the
foyer of his mansion. After Andrew left a short time ago, he had assumed he would
be alone the rest of the day so to have another friendly face appear is a welcome
change. "I hope this isn't a bad time," Victoria tells him
as she takes her coat off and throws it on the bench in the foyer. "I just
thought it would be a shame if you spent the day alone out here. You're so far
from the city." Vinny chuckles back to her. "It's only about
an hour drive," he reminds her. "Not so long that you're here again
so soon after your last visit. Not that I'm complaining." "I
would hope not," she winks back to him. "Like I said, I was just thinking
I didn't want you to spend the day alone and I had the day off, so here I am."
"That's nice," Vinny smiles back to her. "I have been thinking
about your last visit a lot." "You have? Good thoughts, I hope?"
"Of course," Vinny tells her as they move into the living room.
"I haven't had a breakfast date in a very long time. It was refreshing."
"Was it a date?" Victoria looks back at him in surprise.
"Why not?" Vinny shrugs his shoulders. "Unless you are offended
by that term?" "Not at all." "Are you still
dating Shane?" "No, why?" Victoria asks him as they eyes
lock. Vinny moves closer to her. "It's been so long since I was
this close to a woman," he whispers to her as his lips move closer to hers.
They end up kissing passionately. "You shouldn't be away from a
woman a moment longer," she kisses him back as she starts to unbutton his
shirt. Once it's off his body, he picks her up in his muscular arms and carries
her to the sofa where they continue to kiss and continue into the passions of
love making. Next on One Day at a Time - Donovan and Lukas
try to come to an understanding - Jacob confronts Paige - Meggan continues
to try to put the pieces together of Jeff's reunion with her | |
