Twin Peaks Police Station

Trenyce nervously sits outside Simona's office waiting for her appointment to begin. She knows that if anyone, especially Chris, knew that she was at the station today, they would likely be furious with her but she doesn't care. She knows that she has to see if she can drop the charges against Brooke for buying Cheresa from the black market; in her mind, she thinks if there is no trial for Cheresa to focus on, her daughter will come around to wanting to get to know her and Chris. All Trenyce wants is a chance to have a real relationship with her daughter; after she searched for her for so long, Trenyce doesn't want to waste any more time.

"What do you think you're doing here?" a furious Chris asks her as he approaches her. "I went to your office and your secretary told me you were here."

"I told her not to tell anyone," Trenyce snaps at him as she stands up to face him. She can tell by the tone in his voice that he has figured out what she is up too.

"What are you doing here Trey? Please tell me you're not going to ask Simona to drop the charges against Brooke," he says back to her. "You know that she has to pay for buying our daughter from the black market!"

"And, I told you, I want a relationship with my daughter!" Trenyce tells him. "If dropping the charges accomplishes that, then so help me God, that's what I'm going to do!"

"Why can't you understand that Cheresa will always have another excuse until she's ready to accept us as her parents?" Chris asks her back. "We have to be on the same page, Trey."

"You mean, the way we were on the same page when you worked with Greg to file that restraining order against Dawn?"

"That's not fair, that was completely different."

"No it wasn't," Trenyce stands her ground. "You went behind my back to try to do something to protect our daughter and it back fired royally. It's my turn to take charge of this situation and I won't let anyone, including you, stop me."

The Pampa Grill

"I wasn't sure what to make of your request to see me today," Meggan admits to Brad as they sit in the back corner table of the restaurant. She knows that she and Brad haven't exactly been close as of late so when he asked to see her, she was surprised but found herself curious as to what he could have wanted to discuss with her.

"Yea, it's been awhile," Brad nods back to her. "How is Logan?"

"Getting bigger each and every day," Meggan smiles back to him. "If you ever want to stop by the house and see him, he'd love to see you."

"You have no idea how much I'd love that," Brad admits to her. "I still think of him as my son."

"He would like that too," Meggan tells him. "So, what's up? I'm sure this is more than just a social catch up?"

Brad chuckles back to her. "What I am going to tell you has to stay strictly between us, Meggan. Can you do that?"

Meggan arches her eyebrow back to him. "Yea, I guess so. I shouldn't be worried, should I?"

"I am investigating Vinny Victors," Brad reveals to her as Meggan's eyes open wider in surprise. "He's alive, he didn't die in the avalanche."

"Wow," Meggan gasps back to him in surprise. "I hadn't heard that."

"He's laying pretty low in his family mansion on the out skirts of Twin Peaks," Brad tells her. "I got involved because Trenyce asked me to look into Daisy's death. She thinks that Daisy might be alive."

"I could understand that," Meggan tells him. "Lukas, Craig and Vinny all survived the disaster, what's to say my half-sister isn't also alive? It is odd that Daisy wouldn't come back to town though?"

"That's what I'm trying to figure out," Brad reveals to her. "I actually went to the Victors mansion the other and looked around."

"You broke into the mansion?" Meggan asks him as Brad nods back to her. "God, you're brave. That place gives me the creeps."

"Yea, it's weird. There's a creepy energy there," Brad tells her. "Look, I didn't get very far in my search cause Vinny was home when I was there. I looked in his study but that's about it. I didn't find anything. But that house is huge and it has so many secret passages, from what I've been told."

"More secret tunnels than anywhere else that I know of," Meggan agrees with him. "I haven't been there in so long."

"But you know the house," Brad tells her. "I need you help navigating that place, Meg. If we can search that house together maybe we could find a clue as to where Daisy is or if she's alive. Or maybe we could get confirmation that she is dead after all?"

"I don't know," Meggan shakes her head back to him. "That place is where I was held hostage for months. Dave basically threw alcohol at me and made me drink again …"

"This is your sister we are talking about, Meg. If there's any chance that she's alive, we have to figure this out. And, don't worry, I'll be right next to you the entire time."

"Okay, okay," Meggan finally caves into him. "I'll help you. I'll go back to the Victors mansion."

"How did it go with Jacob?" Robbie asks his sister as they sit together in the middle of the restaurant. Robbie wanted to meet with Natasha to tell her how the meeting at Roboto went where he, Kim and Cassie discussed the launch party of the anti-aging serum. He knows that his sister was absent from the party because she wanted to talk to Jacob about working for Robertson Enterprises.

"Ugh, don't even ask," Natasha takes a sip of her white wine. "He basically told me that he won't quit his job and he thinks the feud with the Robertson's is over."

"The feud will never be over," Robbie says back to her. "You just know that Dominick is in his office thinking of ways to one up Roboto right now."

"Exactly," Natasha agrees with him. "How did it go at the meeting this morning?"

"Really well," Robbie says back to her. "We were thinking of a launch party right here, at the Pampa Grill. Cassie will reach out to the owner of the Pampa and Kim was going to do a product update."

"That's great," Natasha smiles uneasily back to him. "Why does it feel like everything is too good to be true?"

"What do you mean?"

"We are getting along with Kim and Cassie of all people," Natasha chuckles back to him. "I don't know if I should pinch myself or what but…"

"Let's not jinx it," Robbie chuckles with her.

"Just know that I don't trust them, either of them. Cassie and Kim are two people I will never fully trust again," Natasha warns him. "We have to watch them closely."

Roboto

Cassie sits at the main desk in the Roboto main office and types furiously into her laptop. When the screen to log into Roboto's bank accounts appears on the screen, she gets a sly grin on her face. She slowly stands up and moves over to the office door and locks it.

"No one should see what is going on in here," she whispers to herself as she sits back down and logs into the banking website. "Soon, I will be in the power and Robbie, Natasha and Dominick won't know what hit them."

She types into the computer and initiates a transfer of funds to another account. She pushes send and laughs to herself.

"Then I will be able to focus all my attention on getting back together with Jacob," she says as she closes the laptop. "I saw how he looked at me in the elevator the other day, he still wants me. I just have to figure out a way to get Paige out of his life for good. And I will, because I always get I want. No one will stop me. No one."

The Tower's; Floor Eight; Victoria's Condo

"I can't believe that Vinny asked you to move in with him," Donovan looks over at his sister as they sit on the sofa together in Victoria's condo with a bottle of red wine sitting on the coffee table in front of them. Donovan can't believe that his sister just told him that she and Vinny had sex and then he asked her to move in with him; everything in Victoria's love life seems to be moving very quickly.

"You're telling me!" Victoria chuckles back to him before she takes a sip of her wine. "I couldn't believe it when he suggested it to me."

"How'd you leave it?"

"I told him I'd have to think about it," she replies to him quickly. "I mean, I do like spending time with him and that house is beautiful, but…"

"It's just fast?"

"Yea, exactly," Victoria tells him. "Anyways, enough of that. How's Lukas doing with these charges?"

"Ugh," Donovan groans back to her, thinking about everything that has unfolded since Lukas was charged with rape. He can't believe that his life has turned into such a mess. "My life, my marriage, is a complete mess right now."

"Craig won't budge on the charges?"

"No," Donovan shakes his head back to her. "Lukas admitted to me that he and Craig were flirting and sharing kisses last fall before the wedding. After they were caught in the cave, Lukas crawled into the bed he made for Craig as Craig had a fever; he hoped the body heat would break the fever. Craig ended up calling out for Lukas and that's when they had sex. Craig, however, says he was so out of it that he didn't consent."

"My God," Victoria gasps. "I'm so sorry Donovan. No wonder you asked for wine when you got here."

"Don't try to make me laugh," Donovan teases her. "I told you, this is a gross mess."

"What are you going to do?"

"I have no idea," Donovan admits to her. "I hate what Craig did to me and my marriage but I can't believe Lukas would sleep with Craig. I…I just don't know what to do right now."

The Cascade Apartments; Apartment 507; Craig's Home

"I really do appreciate you coming over to see how I am doing," Craig tells Andy as he passes his friend a Coke and he cracks himself a beer. Craig has been feeling like he doesn't have a lot of friends since the rape charges against Lukas were laid so the fact that Andy, and Nicholas, have been supporting him is a nice comfort to him.

"Of course, Nicholas had business plans or he would have been here as well," Andy replies to him. "How've you been?"

"As well as to be expected," Craig tells him quickly. "It sucks how this all went down but it is what it is."

"I'm sure Donovan and Lukas are still reeling."

"They are," Craig agrees with him. "Especially because Lukas confessed to Donovan that he and I were flirting last fall. We even kissed a few times. So, Donovan now blames me for part of this mess, which I get. But that doesn't mean that I consented to the sex, you know?"

"Yea, I get that," Andy replies to him. "But Donovan must be so devastated to know that Lukas was growing that much closer to another man."

Craig feels his face flush. "He was upset, he was devastated," Craig tells his friend. "And, I hate that I hurt Donovan, I really do. What Lukas and I were doing was stupid. I can't change that now, I can just try to move forward."

"I get the feeling that things will get more complicated before they get easier," Andy tells him. "You just have to prepare yourself for that."

The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas & Donovan's Home

Lukas paces around the living room of the large estate trying to figure out a way to make his current problems go away. He hates that he had to tell Donovan the entire truth about his flirtation with Craig last fall; the pain that he saw in his husbands eyes have been haunting him. Of course, he knows that this will, hopefully, make Donovan come around to forgiving him but he has no idea what his husband will do now. He just wishes that he could get Craig to drop these stupid rape charges against.

"I have to do something to get Craig to drop these charges," he whispers to himself. "But what? He is so mad despite him playing an equal part in our flirtation last year."

"Ugh," Lukas groans to himself. "There must be something I can do!"

Suddenly, he recalls his conversation with Meggan a few weeks ago where she encouraged her brother to make the charges go away. He pauses for a moment and wonders how he can make the charges go away. "What can I do to make that happen?" he asks himself. "Wait, the only person who can tell me that is Craig. He has to tell me what he wants to make this go away."

The Sugarbowl

Abby looks at the barista behind the bar and longs for a coffee. She has been trying to avoid coffee since its bad for you when you're pregnant. Despite that, after her run-in with Andrew earlier, she could use the caffeine fix. She told him that she is pregnant and she told him that he is the father of the baby; of course, she knows that Max could also be the child's father as she slept with both men relatively close together. She just hopes that Andrew is the father of her child; that would make her life so much better. It could, after everything, put her and Andrew together, like they always should have been.

She looks over at the front door when it opens and feels herself start to sweat a little when she sees Max move into the coffeehouse. She doesn't want to see him right now as she knows that he was rather excited at the idea of being a father when she told him about the baby. She cringes a little when she hears him moving towards her.

"Hey Abs, how are you? How's the baby?" he asks her as he sits across from her.

"Please keep your voice down," Abby replies to him quickly. "Not everyone knows about the baby yet."

"What are you waiting for? They'll find out soon enough," he winks back to her, thinking that soon enough she will have a baby bump growing.

Abby rolls her eyes. "Very funny."

"But everything is good?"

"Yes, we are both doing great," she smiles back to him. "Andrew knows about the baby. He knows he's going to be a father."

"Wait, what?" Max asks her back. "Did you have a paternity test done?"

"No," Abby tells him back quickly. "I just know. Andrew is the father of my baby, Max."

"You know damn well that I could be the father," he replies to her quickly. "And, if you think I'm going to let you and Andrew raise my kid…"

"Stop getting so worked out," Abby cuts him off. "You're not the father, Max. There's no way that's possible."

"I don't believe it," Max tells her. "You won't cut me out of this child's life! I didn't have a Dad growing up, I won't do that to my kid, Abby. We have to find out the truth. We have too."

***

At the window seat, Leah sits with a coffee in front of her, her mind racing on the previous day's events when she saw Jeff and he revealed to her that after Logan's custody hearing, he went to try to find her to see if they could put their marriage back together. Of course, she was horrified to learn that he saw her in bed with Cory which is why he reunited with Meggan. She can't believe the timing of it all; now she's left wondering what could have been.

Cory opens the door to the coffeehouse and moves inside immediately seeing Leah sitting next to him. He can't help but remember hearing her admit to Jeff that she never would have slept with him had she known that Jeff was coming to find her; he feels like such a fool for thinking they were building something.

"Penny for your thoughts," he says as he moves up to her. "Or do I have to ask?"

Leah arches her eyebrow. "Cory, hey. I guess I was deep in thought. You think you know what it was about?"

"I was at the Pampa Grill yesterday," he reveals to her. "I heard you tell Jeff that you wouldn't have been with me if you knew he was coming to find you that night after the custody hearing."

"Cory…" Leah begins to tell him. "You have to understand, I wanted my marriage to work. I have enjoyed our time together but Jeff, my marriage…"

"I get it," Cory nods back to her. "I was put off at first, I have to admit it. But it makes sense that we wouldn't have had that incredible sex if you knew Jeff wanted you back."

"It has been incredible, hasn't it?"

"Yea. It's on my mind a lot," he chuckles back to her. "Where'd you and Jeff leave things?"

Leah locks eyes with Cory. "He told me it's over. He's with Meggan now."

"Are you okay with that?"

"I don't have a choice," she stands up and looks at him. "But I do have a choice to recapture that sex with you."

He leans in and kisses her. "Are you sure?"

"I want you," she purrs to him. "Let's go to your place, Cory. Make me feel that way again and again."

Twin Peaks Police Station

"Damn it Trey! You have to listen to me!" Chris yells at Trenyce, who is still refusing to back down on dropping the charges against Brooke.

"No, you listen to me, I'm doing this and that's final," Trenyce grits her teeth back to him.

Simona opens the door to her office and looks at the two of them with intent. "What the hell is going on out here?" she asks them as she puts her hand on her hip. "This isn't the time or place for a shouting match."

"I'm so sorry," Trenyce turns to look at her as Chris comes up behind her.

"Don't do this," he pleads with her. "Trey, please don't do this."

"Simona, I need to talk to you," Trenyce ignore Chris' pleads. "I want to drop all the charges against Brooke Lawson. I have changed my mind about having her punished for buying my daughter, Cheresa, from the blackmarket."

"Well that's great," Simona forces a smile on her face. "But it's out of my control."

"What do you mean?" Trenyce asks her back, as Chris breathes a sigh of relief.

"The FBI got in involved and she is being charged on a national level now," Simona reveals to them. "So, Mrs. Lawson will have to go to court for what she did. The charges will not be dropped."
