"It was nice of you to come into the city to see me," Victoria
purses her lips together before she takes a sip of her red wine as she sits across
the table from Vinny, who came to see if Victoria will accept his offer to move
in with him. He hopes that she is willing to accept his offer because he would
like nothing more than to have a beautiful woman by his side each and every day
while he is living outside of Twin Peaks. "I wanted to show you
how much I would do for you," Vinny replies to her quickly. "You know
that I still feel like the town pariah but I wanted to prove to you that I was
serious about you coming to live with me in the mansion. Have you thought about
it at all?" Victoria takes another sip of her wine as she knows
that she hasn't been able to think about anything. Eva, however, warned her daughter
about getting close to Vinny. Her mother's words have been replaying in her head
over and over. What would she think if she knew that she was actually thinking
of accepting Vinny's offer? "I haven't thought about much else,"
she admits to him. "It is a very tempting offer, especially since I haven't
gone back to work yet since I've been back from restoring my mental health."
"There's no need to work," Vinny tells her, knowing he has more
than enough money for both of them. "The mansion has everything you'll ever
need. And, I'd love the company." "I like your company too,"
Victoria says back to him. "We only get one chance in this life,
Vic," Vinny continues to tell her. "You have to make the most of it
while we can. What do you say? Take a chance and move in with me? Let's see where
this goes?" "I'd love too," Victoria smiles back to him.
"We'll start on a trial basis and go from there, okay? If it doesn't work,
it doesn't work. And if it does, it does." Vinny chuckles back to
her. "I'll take anything as long as it's a yes. I'm so glad you're moving
in with me, Victoria!" "Over my dead body is my daughter going
to live with," Eva announces as she approaches their table having overheard
the news that Victoria will be living with her ex-husband. Victoria uneasily looks
over at Vinny and then up at her mother, knowing that she will have to deal with
this situation One Day House; Nicholas' Office A small
brick building just north of Main Street has been converted into the halfway house
named the One Day House. The main floor of the building is the reception, Nicholas'
office and an open shared space. The second and third levels of the building have
been converted into bedrooms with their own private washrooms and a small kitchenette;
these are the rooms that people and families in need will stay in if they need
too. "I can't believe how quickly you pulled all of this together,"
Robin tells her brother as they stand in the common space at the small grand party
launch. "This place is incredible." "I had the idea and
everything else just fell into place," Nicholas replies to her, feeling proud
of what he has done. "The lease of the building was up for grabs and I was
able to secure it; I had a few minor renovations down but there wasn't any issues.
It certainly helped having the last name of Young attached to it. Mom has certainly
made it easier for me to get things done." Robin chuckles back to
him. "Suppose that's one good thing she has done for us. Where is Andy?"
Nicholas sighs back to her feeling slightly annoyed that Andy is, once again,
late. He knows that his tardiness really started once they moved in together but
it is starting to get under Nicholas' skin. It's almost like Andy is feeling secure
in their relationship so he isn't taking things as seriously anymore. That or
something is medically wrong with him. "He's late," Nicholas
finally replies to her. "I can't believe that he would be late for my opening.
He knows how important this is to me." "Did you tell him that
his tardiness is bugging you?" "He knows." Before
Robin can reply, Andy comes to Nicholas trying to catch his breath as he raced
over once he realized that he was late. "I'm so sorry I'm late babe,"
Andy tells him as he hugs an awkward looking Nicholas. He was working at the paper
when he realized that he was late; he thought he had put the time in his phone
again but the alarm didn't go off. He has no idea why this keeps happening but
he knows that he will have to make this up to his lover. "I'll leave
you two alone," Robin tells her brother as she scurries away. "This
place looks incredible," Andy says to Nicholas as they exit their embrace.
"You should be so proud of yourself!" "I'm annoyed I am
not going to lie," Nicholas crosses his arms over his chest. "You're
late. Again." "I know, I'm so sorry. I don't know what happened
"
"I don't care what happened Andy," Nicholas says back to him sternly.
"I don't like this pattern. Please get your priorities straight? This opening
is a big deal for me." Before Andy can reply, Nicholas storms off
and starts mingling with some of the quests that have arrived. Andy runs his hand
through his hair wondering why suddenly he's always late. "What's going on
with me?" he asks himself in frustration. Meanwhile, Robin grabs
another soda before she hears her cell phone chime. She pulls it out of her purse
and she gets a sly grin on her face at the message from Dominick. "You
look happy," Shane says as he comes up to her. "Much better than the
last time I saw you." Robin uneasily chuckles back to him as she
recalls how he broke up a catfight between her and Helen at the studio. She, looking
back, is embarrassed by what happened but there is clearly no love loss between
her and Helen right now. "I'm so sorry you walked in on that," Robin
tells him. "That's not how I usually behave." "I know,"
Shane teases her. "You are usually a good girl." "I try
to be!" Robin smiles back to him. "I am glad you're here. I just got
some news from Dominick
that is rather exciting." "What is it?" "We
are going to Paris," she reveals to him. "He wants you and I to lead
a photo shoot by the Eiffel Tower." "You're kidding? Paris?
That's amazing!" Robin pulls her friend into a hug. "It's going
to be the trip of a lifetime!" *** Kim finishes
hugging Andy and then looks at her brother in concern. She knows that it is not
like him to be late so the fact that it has happened multiple times is concerning
to her. And, Andy has claimed that he has put each of the appointments in his
phone but they are seemingly gone later, which is why he ends up being late.
"Promise me that you will get this checked out?" Kim looks at him
in concern. "And then keep me posted? I mean it Andy, this could be something
serious!" "I will keep you posted," Andy tells her. "I
just have to find a way to make this up to Nicholas." "Yes,
you do," Kim winks at him. "Okay, I'm running late for another meeting.
Keep me posted, don't forget." "Very funny," Andy chuckles
back to her as Kim waves and then walks towards the exit. Outside, Kim
pauses and takes a deep breath of the fresh spring air. She opens her large purse
and finds her sunglasses and put them on. She starts walking down the street but
freezes in her tracks when she sees a man approaching her. She almost can't believe
what she is seeing; she takes her sunglasses off and sees Will Coutts.
"Will? Is that really you?" she rushes up to him and hugs him. She knew
that he was getting out of jail on parole but she didn't expect to see him on
the streets of Twin Peaks. She is quickly taken back to the time when they worked
together to bring down Ryan McQuillian all those years ago. "It's been years
since I saw you. How are you?" "Doing pretty good Kim, now
that I'm out of jail," Will chuckles back to her. "I don't think I'll
stay in town, I just wanted to say hi to a few people and see what's changed and
then head out." Kim shakes her head back to him. "No, you have
to stay," she tells him. "We have so much to catch up on. Besides, I
might have a job for you, if you're interested." Will arches his
eyebrow back to her. "You have a job for me? Now I am curious. What is this
job?" "Let me buy you a drink and we can talk about it?"
"After you," Will smiles back to her as they start to walk together
towards Bar Code. The Pampa Grill "Sorry I am late,"
Shane announces to Natasha and Jacob as he sees his ex-wife and son sitting at
a table together. He knows that he and Natasha are trying to prevent their son
from getting more involved with Paige; he hopes that him revealing his sorted
past with Paige that he scared Jacob away from the young girl. After everything
that has gone down between the Robertson's and the Calimo's, the last thing he
wants is more drama for his son and his dating life. "I found out that I
am going to go to Paris on a work trip!" "I heard," Jacob
nods back to his Dad, having heard the news since he works at Robertson Enterprises.
"You and Robin must be stoked to go." "Ugh," Natasha
rolls her eyes back to them. "Do I have to be privy to the Robertson Enterprise's
talk? I am curious though, what campaign are they taking to Paris?"
"Very funny Mom," Jacob replies to her quickly. "You will have
to wait to find out like everyone else. It's going to be lit though."
"I'm sure," she purses her lips together. "The reason your
father and I wanted to see you was because we are still concerned about you seeing
Paige. Can you please tell us that you've come to your senses?"
"Especially after the story I told you about Paige's history with me,"
Shane looks back over at Jacob. He then makes eye contact with Natasha, hoping
that his history with Paige will be enough to convince Jacob to stop seeing her.
"Look guys, I get it, you're worried," Jacob puts his hands in
the air. "But I am old enough to make my own decisions now and that means
that I am going to continue to see Paige." "Did you even talk
to her about what happened with your father?" Natasha asks him, not thrilled
by his answer. "Of course I did," Jacob replies to Natasha
quickly. "She's changed since then. She was young and made a mistake. Haven't
we all done that?" "I don't like this," Natasha shakes
her head back to him. "Getting involved with that girl will be a mistake,
I can feel it." "Just support me?" Jacob asks his parents.
"If it is a mistake, then it is one that I have to make. I'm not going to
stop living the life I want to live because of some silly decade old feud. Okay?
So, you'll support me." Shane reaches over and grabs his son's hand.
"We support you. We don't like this but we do support you, Jacob."
*** "I had breakfast with Paige," Max tells his
mother as they sit across from one another in the busy restaurant. Max knows that
he wants to get back together with Paige, and when he was with her, he sensed
that there could be trouble with Jacob already, which is music to his ears. However,
he also can't help but think about his issues with Abby: she's pregnant and claiming
that Andrew is the father of the child, when he knows that they slept together
too. He won't let his child be raised by another man. "It sounded like there
might be trouble with Paige already." Cassie uneasily chuckles back
to him as she takes a sip of her coffee. "Are you surprised?" she asks
him. "I told Jeff and they are probably all over her to end the relationship."
Max smirks back to her. "Yea, I hope so. I want her back Mom, I really
do." "I know you do baby," Cassie reaches over and grabs
his hand. "You can do this, I know you can." Max sighs back
to her. "I don't know," he admits to her. "She hates secrets."
"Well, you don't have any more secrets. Do you, Max?"
Max looks around to ensure no one can hear him. "I slept with Abby Lawson,"
he reveals to his mother, who gasps back at him. This was the very last thing
Cassie expected to hear. "You did what?" "I know,
I know," Max waves his hand in the air. "It was stupid. It was a mistake,"
he tells her. "We both needed to blow off some steam. Anyways, she's pregnant
now." "I'm going to be a grandmother? This just keeps getting
better and better Max," sarcasm comes out of Cassie's mouth. "I
don't know," he shakes his head back to her. "She slept with someone
else too, so I don't know if I am the father or not." "That
slut!" Cassie hisses. "I can't believe she's spreading her legs all
around this town!" "Mom!" Max says back to her, trying
to keep her calm so no one else can hear their conversation. "Okay,
I'm sorry," Cassie shakes head back to him. "I know just the way to
get to the bottom of this," Cassie tells him, as the wheels in her head start
spinning. "A paternity test. I'll arrange everything, you just tell Abby
to be there. We will find out if you're the baby's father or not."
"Thanks Mom," Max smiles back to her. "I really needed this."
The Sugarbowl "I called you both here today for a very
specific reason," Paige purses her lips together before she looks over at
Jeff and Leah, who uneasily look at one another. Paige had hoped that after she
told Leah about Jeff going to find her after Logan's custody hearing that her
parents would get back together, but that has not happened. She's okay with that
but she still, also, needs to tell them that she will still see Jacob, despite
their reservations. "Does this have anything to do with Jacob?"
Jeff asks his daughter, hoping that they have seemingly gotten through to her
about dating a Calimo. "It does," Paige nods back to him. "He
and I had a falling out because Shane told him about our past together and the
trial." "Oh!" Leah says excitedly, thinking that her daughter
won't be seeing a Calimo anymore. "But, after some time, we both
realized that we like spending time with one another and he realizes that what
happened was a long time ago and I've changed," Paige tells her parents.
"So, Jacob and I are dating. And, there's nothing you two can say or do about
so stop trying to ruin this, do I make myself clear?" "Paige,"
Leah starts to protest back to her daughter as she uneasily looks at Jeff.
"No, Mom," Paige cuts her off. "I need you two to have learned
from your mistakes last year with Max. I am going to see Jacob, end of discussion."
*** At the window bar, Andrew brings Chris his coffee before
he sits next to the man he thought of as his father for years. Andrew reached
out to Chris, needing a friendly ear as he has no idea what he is going to do
with the news that Abby is pregnant, and accordingly to her, he is the father.
The news has left him rocked as they only slept together once, and he only was
with her as a way to get back at her for spilling the beans about his affair with
Albertinah. "While I appreciate your invite to have a coffee,"
Chris says as he takes a sip of his beverage. "You made it seem like you
wanted to talk about something. Is everything okay?" Andrew chuckles
back to him. "You know me well, huh?" he says back to him. "I guess
I did need some advice." "Well, I hope I can give you good
advice then. What's up?" "I've made a mistake," Andrew
reveals to him. "It's not life or death or anything like that," Andrew
continues to tell him. "But, I can't really say more than that."
"Okay? Whatever it is, if it's not life or death, you will be okay,
Andrew." "The consequences though, it will change my life forever
in ways that I'm not sure I'm ready for," he replies to him. "I just
don't know what I'm supposed to do." Chris uneasily sighs back to
him. "I've made my share of mistakes," Chris reveals to him. "And
you know what I've learned? That every mistake can be undone. Whatever this is
Andrew, you can fix it so it goes away. Trust me on that." Andrew
uneasily nods back to him. "Make it go away," he resays the words Chris
just told him. "Yea, that might be some good advice." The
Park "I've been dying to know what you found in Vinny's house
when you went there," Trenyce tells Brad as they sit together on a park bench
together. Trenyce knew that Brad was going to the Victors mansion in hopes of
trying to get some information on Daisy possibly being alive and so she has been
so curious about what he could have found; if there's any way for Daisy to be
alive, Trenyce has to find out. "How did it go?" Brad looks
back at her and they lock eyes for a moment. "It was intense," he reveals
to her. "He was at home when I went inside." "What?"
Trenyce gasps back to him. "How did not get caught?" "I
was careful," Brad nods back to her. "But Vinny being there really prevented
me from getting a good look around. I was only able to look in the study."
"And?" "Nothing," Brad shakes his head back
to her. "But, I'm not going to give up. I've already enlisted the help of
Meggan to search the house again. She knows the property better than I do, so
she'll be a good help." "I can't thank you enough," Trenyce
tells him as she puts her on his leg and squeezes it. "You have no idea how
much I appreciate this." Brad smiles back to her as he looks at
her hand on his leg. "It's my pleasure, Trenyce." The Victors
Mansion "Do you realize that I have counted the number of cracks
in that one cement block like a million times?" Daisy rolls her eyes as she
looks over at Brett, who is laying on his cot in the dungeon that Vinny has trapped
them in. Brett sits up and looks over at her. "Are you feeling bored?"
he chuckles to her. "What was your first guess?" "Well,
what do you want to do to pass the time?" he asks her. "Wanna thing
of fun ways we could kill Vinny if we ever get out of here?" "No,"
Daisy looks back at him. "Cause when I get out of here I don't want to face
murder charges that will send me back to a jail cell." "Touché,"
Brett chuckles back to her as he stands up and moves over to her cot. He sits
on the edge of it and look at her. "I could teach you some of my work out
moves?" "Ugh, please, no." "Then what do
you want to do?" "I don't know," Daisy admits to him as
she leans up and they lock eyes. "I'm just wishing that there was something
we could do to pass the time." "Yea, me too, the days feel
long in here, huh?" "Very long." Brett looks
at her for a moment and realizes how beautiful she is, even in the horrible overhead
lighting. He leans in and kisses her on the lips for a moment before he pulls
back. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that," he says as he
stands up and walks away from the cot. Daisy looks over at him and licks
her lips a little. "It's fine," she tells him. "It was just a kiss,
Brett. No harm, no foul." The Pampa Grill "Mom,
now is not the time or place to have this conversation!" Victoria replies
to Eva sternly as she stands up. She starts to walk with her mother, mouthing
words "I'm sorry" to Vinny. "You have to get yourself
under control," she tells Eva. "You can't dictate to me what I can and
can't do, I'm a grown woman!" "I am worried about you Victoria,"
Eva tells her daughter as Tyler approaches them. "Vinny Victors is a dangerous
man. "Why are you warning Victoria about Vinny?" Tyler asks,
having overheard the conversation. He knows that he still has issues with Vinny
with everything that has happened with Daisy. "Because, I am moving
in with him," Victoria announces to them. "And there's nothing dangerous
about him, Mom. I was married to him!" "I agree with your Mom,
you need to watch your back with Vinny. He can't be trusted," Tyler replies
to her as he approaches the table. "He's as evil as the come. I know this."
"You guys are crazy," Victoria laughs back to them as she nervously
looks over Vinny, who is still sitting at the table. "He's harmless. He's
perfectly harmless." Next on One Day at a Time - Meggan
stands her ground with Jeff - Cassie makes another play for Jacob - Andrew
