Twin Peaks Court House Brooke stands up tall from the water
fountain as she desperately needed a drink of water after her testimony in her
trial that is taking place. She hopes that everyone that has testified so far
has helped her case. She can't go to jail over bringing Cheresa into her and her
families lives; it wouldn't seem fair or right. She just hopes now that the Judge
has seen things her way. "Where are the children?" Brooke
asks Greg, who is approaching her quickly. She would love nothing more than to
give her children a big hug as she suspects when the Judge returns, he will have
made his decision. "They went outside for some air," Greg tells
her. "It's been a long day for them." "It has for all
of us," Brooke admits to him. "I can't believe how emotionally draining
this has been; having to relieve so many painful moments." "A
lot of good moments though," Greg looks back at her. "This entire day
has made me think of so many memories of when the children were younger and they
were just so full of life." "We've raised some wonderful children,"
Brooke looks at him as their eyes lock for a moment. "Greg
"
"Can I say something?" he interrupts her as she nods back to him.
"What you said on the stand about you and I, it was really touching."
"I meant every word, Greg." "I know you did,"
he sighs back to her. "But Brooke, what we had, it is over. I need you to
know that. I care about you, I always will. You're the mother of my children.
But, I can't trust you anymore. Your affair with Robbie, it ruined that for me." Brooke
bites her lower lip as she fights tears in her eyes. "I understand,"
she says as she puts her head down. "Just know that I am very sorry for everything,
Greg. I really am." Greg
pulls his wife into a hug. "I know you are. Neither one of us are perfect,
Brooke." Before
Brooke can reply, the door to the courtroom opens and a court bailiff emerges.
"The Judge is back; he's made his decision." Twin Peaks
Credit Union "So, I have started the process of having the funds
from the GIC's released," Lucie Royer tells Lukas and Meggan as they sit
in her office at the local bank. Lukas and Meggan discussed the option of withdrawing
the funds from Frederick's GIC's to help payoff Craig, who is requesting 10 million
dollars in order for him to drop the rape charges. Meggan was feeling apprehensive
about the withdrawal when she learned how much of a penalty they would have to
pay since they are withdrawing the funds before the maturity date but Lukas convinced
her that it was the right thing to do. "Okay perfect," Lukas
smiles back to the banker. "How long before we will have the funds deposited
into our account?" Lucie uneasily sighs back to him. "This
will take a few weeks, unfortunately," she begins to tell him. "First,
we have to withdraw the funds and the penalty amount, then the penalty will be
processed. Then, due to the large amount of the funds you are withdrawing, there
will likely be a 10 day holding period in your account until the funds are released."
"That seems like a very long time," Meggan replies to her. "Is
there anything we can do to expedite this?" "Unfortunately
no," Lucie informs them. "This is standard policy; any funds that are
deposited into account that is over ten thousand, there is a hold. It's common
bank policy and procedure." "As long as we get the money, that's
all that matters," Lukas tells her. "Then we can solve this problem
that we are dealing with." "You're right," Meggan nods
to her brother. "Even if we have to wait awhile, this will take care of it."
"I couldn't have done this without you Meg," Lukas smiles back
to her. "You don't have to thank me," Meggan replies to him.
"I'm just glad this will help you, help us." The Sugarbowl
Cassie grabs her coffee from the barista before she turns and moves over
to the coffee bar to put her cream and sugar into her beverage. She has another
full day planned at Roboto where she is planning to log back into the banking
system to make another quick transfer. She hasn't revealed to anyone what she
is up too, exactly, yet, but she knows that she has to keep it up if she wants
to carry out her plan to get revenge on the Calimo's and double cross Dominick
at the same time. If all goes accordingly to her plan, not only will she get her
revenge on those who have crossed her but she will also be able to get back together
with Jacob. She puts the lid on her coffee and is about to leave when
she sees Paige sitting at the window bar drinking a coffee. She arches her eyebrow
as she recalls trying to seduce Jacob recently but he told her that he was still
wanted to be with Paige. Of course, Cassie had hoped that he would give into her
since she knows that he must still have some kind of feelings for her. She finds
herself moving up to the younger woman. "Beautiful day today, huh?"
Cassie purses her lips together as she reaches Paige's seat. Paige looks
back at Cassie in surprise as she has no idea what she could want with her. "Very,"
Paige forces a smile on her face. "If you'll excuse me, I was just on my
way out. I have to get to the office." "Right, dealing with
the Paris trip, right? Jacob told me all about it." "I'm sure
he did," Paige uneasily chuckles back to her. "I don't know what kind
of game you're trying to play here, Cassie, but I'm not going to be a part of
it." "There is no game," Cassie replies to her quickly.
"Just know this, little girl, I always get what I want. Always."
"And let me guess, you want Jacob?" "Bingo."
Paige chuckles back to her. "Funny because he wants absolutely nothing
to do with you and the more you press him the less interested he becomes. Trust
me on that." "I'm just giving you the heads up," Cassie
tells her. "Don't say I didn't warn you." Before Paige can
reply, Cassie turns around and leaves the coffeehouse. Paige runs her hands through
her hair wondering if she should be worried about Cassie and her threats to her.
She pulls her out her phone and shoots Jacob a text message. "Can you please
control your ex-fiancé?" She puts her phone back in her purse
and then quickly leaves the coffeehouse, needing to get to Robertson Enterprises
to help get the team ready for the upcoming Paris trip. ***
At the back booth of the coffeehouse, Robin and Nicholas sit across from
one another as they are catching up before Robin has to leave for the Paris trip.
"You must be excited to go to Paris," Nicholas smirks over to her,
thinking about how magical of a city Paris can be. "I really am,"
Robin nods back to him. "It's great that I can work but also try to reconnect
with Adam. We've been through so much, it will be nice to have us time, if you
know what I mean." "I know exactly what you mean," Nicholas
chuckles back to her. "What better place to reconnect then one of the most
romantic cities in the world?" "It's not too late for you and
Andy to come to Paris you know," Robin suggests to him, immediately thinking
back to the opening of the One Day House when Andy was rather late in showing
up and Nicholas had admitted that it had been happening on a more regular basis
lately. "It could just be the thing you two need?" "That
sounds amazing," Nicholas admits to his sister. "But with the One Day
House just opening, I have a million things to do right now and I don't think
I can get away. I'm sure Andy feels like he could use the vacation though."
"Why do you say that? Has he been late again?" "Not
since the opening," he tells her. "But he claims to have heard a noise
in the mansion. He says he's heard it more than once but he has no idea what it
is." Robin arches her eyebrow back to him. "Like a mouse or
something?" Nicholas shrugs his shoulders. "He actually told
me thought it was a ghost. He thinks the house is haunted." Robin
looks back at him with a blank stare on her face. "I know, that's what I
thought too," he tells his sister. "I don't know, Robin, I'm worried
about him. It's like
it's like he's losing his mind or something."
"Maybe it's time he get checked out by a doctor or something,"
Robin suggests to him. "Cause, I agree with you something isn't right there."
The Young Mansion Andy lays asleep in the king size bed in
the master bedroom of the mansion in which he is living in with Nicholas. He usually
isn't still asleep at this hour, but Nicholas convinced him to go back home after
their morning visit at the One Day House and sleep in to see if more sleep will
help him get over his tardiness and the noise he keeps hearing. He moans
a little in the bed and rolls over slowly opening his eyes. He grabs his phone
on the end table and realizes its early afternoon now. He leans up in the bed.
"Wow, I guess I did need the extra sleep," he whispers to himself. He
jolts up in the bed quickly as he starts to hear the scratching noise again coming
from the closet. "What the fuck?" he asks himself as he crawls
out of bed, only wearing his boxer briefs. He opens the closet door and gets on
his hands and knees to see if he can see any sign of what is causing the noise.
"Where are you? What are you?" Andy yells out in frustration. "I
can hear you! But where is this coming from?" Andy stands up in
frustration having seen nothing. "Ugh!" he groans out. "This is
happening, right? I can hear a noise? I am not going crazy?" Suddenly,
there's a knock on the bedroom door. "Mr. Andy?" Hendrix's voice calls
out. "I can you shouting
is everything okay?" Andy rushes
over to the door and opens the door. "Come in here please," Andy pulls
the butler into the room. "Do you hear that noise?" Both men
go silent so they can hear the noise, only there is no more scratching noise.
"I don't hear anything?" Hendrix looks back at him with worry on his
face. "Did you hear something?" "Yes," Andy nods
back to him. "I heard a scratching noise coming from the closet. We have
to figure out what it was. It's driving me crazy!" The Victors
Mansion "Had any ideas on how the hell we can get out of here?"
Daisy asks Brett as she moves over to his cot while he is looking at the ceiling,
seemingly deep in thought. "I mean," he sits up and looks at
her. "The only thing I can think of is that maybe we can try to jump Vinny
when he brings us food or water?" "Yea, I had thought of that
too." "Seems unlikely, hey?" Daisy shrugs as
she sits next to him. "I keep thinking about when Vinny was locked in here
and how Robbie ended up finding him. Maybe our best bet is for someone to find
us?" Brett uneasily chuckles back to her. "What's so funny?
You don't think anyone will find us?" "No one is looking for
me, Daisy," he tells her in a soft voice. "The only family I have is
Vinny, and he put me in here. I was in jail for so long that I don't have a lot
of friends that are out in the real world. No one knows I'm missing. No one will
be searching for me." Daisy pulls him into a hug. "I'm sorry,"
she whispers into his ear. "I really didn't mean to make you feel sad or
upset." "You didn't," he admits to her as they lock eyes.
"It's just a fact. I'm not like you, you'll have many people searching for
you because you're so beloved." Daisy blushes back to him. "I
hope that Tyler and Trenyce are looking for me," she admits to him. "But
if Vinny is right and they all think I'm dead
" Brett tilts
her head with his finger and locks eyes with her again. "We will get out
of here, Daisy. I am going to figure this out. We both will. We make a good team."
Daisy uneasily smiles back to him. "I hope so." "I
know so," he tells her, their eyes still locked with each other's.
