The Sugarbowl

Robin slowly opens the door to the coffeehouse and scurries inside. She is desperate for a caffeine fix as she is still struggling with jet lag as she and Shane just got back from Paris late the previous day. The time change is still impacting her, she realizes. As she waits in the line, she can't help but recall the last few hours she spent in Paris; she was supposed to meet Adam at the Eiffel Tower so they could start the rest of their lives together, only he didn't show up. Devastated, Robin went back to the hotel and ended up in bed with Shane. She immediately told him that their sex was a mistake, which upset Shane. She hates that she led Shane on but at the time she needed the release and escape the hurt that she was feeling from Adam not showing up at the Eiffel Tower, which she still doesn't understand since he was the one who organized the meeting in the first place.

She grabs her coffee and moves to the coffee bar to put some cream and sugar in her beverage. As she puts a lid on her coffee, she can't help but notice Adam sitting alone at the window bar. She feels her heart move into her throat; she didn't think that she would see him so quickly following returning to Twin Peaks. Now, her mind is riddled with questions: why didn't he show up? Where was he instead of the Eiffel Tower? Why did he ask to meet her there if he wasn't going to show up? Should she tell him about her fling with Shane?
She slowly moves closer to him and clears her throat to make her presence known to him. Adam looks back at her and glares at her, also believing that she stood him up.

"Fancy seeing you here," he spits to her, furious that she didn't show up at the Eiffel Tower. He still believes that she stood him up. "I'm not good enough to see in Paris but I'm good enough for the coffeehouse?"

"What are you talking about?" she asks him as she moves closer to him. "I should be mad at you, not the other way around."

Robin glares at Adam as she sits next to him. "Don't give me the silent treatment," she tells him. "I want to answers, I think you owe me that much."

Adam turns to her and looks back at her. "What exactly is that you want to know?"

"Why didn't you show up at the Eiffel Tower?" she asks him back immediately. "And would you ask me there only to stand me up? Why would you do that to me?"

The Tower's; The Penthouse; Cory's Home

"Thanks for spending the night with me last night," Cory tells Leah as he passes her a coffee as they sit at the small table in the kitchen of Cory's lavish penthouse. As Cory pours himself a coffee, he recalls how Robbie and Natasha approached him and Leah at the Pampa Grill the previous night and asked them if they were having an affair. After Cory tried to object to answering, Leah admitted that they were sleeping together, which of course sent the Calimo siblings into a tailspin. "After our run in with Robbie and Leah, I wasn't sure you'd want to be here."

Leah takes a sip of her coffee before she looks back at Cory. "I just can't believe that they reacted the way they did. You and Natasha ended your marriage months ago; Robbie and I have been over for years. I guess I don't understand why they care if we are sleeping together."

"Think about how Robbie reacted when you and Jeff got married and then everyone thought you died," Cory reminds her. "He basically took everything that Jeff should have received from the will and made it his own. The Calimo's have this attitude that if they can't have something or someone, no one can."

"I suppose that's right," Leah uneasily nods back to him. "I guess that means we should brace ourselves for what's next."

Cory sits next to her and looks back at her. "Now that Robbie and Natasha know the truth, it's only a matter of time before news starts to spread. Are you ready for that?"

Leah sighs. "As ready as I'll ever be, I guess. Are you ready?"

Cory nods back to her. "I've grown very fond of you, Leah," he admits to her. "If anyone has an issue with us being together, that's on them. I don't want to change a damn thing right now."

Leah smiles and leans in to kiss him on the lips. "Good, cause I feel the same way."

The Claus House; Leah & Paige's Home

"Jacob, what are you doing here?" Paige asks her boyfriend as she opens the front door of the house she shares with her mother and sees him standing on the other side. She had anticipated seeing him at the office not before.

Jacob smiles back to her as he moves into the foyer of the house. "I thought I'd see if you wanted to ride together to work today," Jacob admits to her. "I guess a part of me didn't want to wait until we got to Robertson Enterprises to see you today."

"That's sweet of you, I'd love to ride to work with you. I just have to get my bag and we can go?"

"Yea, sure," Jacob tells her. "By the way, I saw Cassie the other day after you texted me about your encounter with her at the Sugarbowl."

"You did? What did she say?" Paige asks him as she grabs her bag from the living room.

"She still thinks I'm in love with her and I shot it down pretty fast," Jacob informs her. "I told her to stay away from you or she will answer to me, no questions asked."

Paige comes up to him and kisses him on the lips. "Thank you for defending me," she smiles as their lips part. "I really appreciate that."

"Of course," he smiles back to her. "I won't let that woman come between us, Paige."

"My Mom isn't at home, she must have left for the office early," Paige looks into his eyes, suddenly feeling like she wants him. The fact that he is defending her to Cassie is a huge turn on for her. "If you're not in a rush to get to work…?"

Jacob kisses her passionately on the lips. "I'll always make time for you," he says as she moves him to the staircase to lead up him to her bedroom.

The Pampa Grill

"I know what you said to me last night about not trusting me Trey," Chris looks over to Trenyce as they sit across from each other in the restaurant with their breakfasts in front of them. Chris knows that Trenyce is still having a hard find trusting him again since he filed the restraining order against Dawn to keep her away from Cheresa; he just hopes that now that Brooke's trial is over he and Trenyce can, somehow, put the past behind them and move over from this. "But, if we want to get back in Cheresa's good graces, I think we have to work together."

Trenyce takes a bite of her scrambled eggs before she looks back at him. She has been struggling to trust Chris again but she also knows that she slept with Brad recently, which definitely adds a wrinkle into the situation. She knows that if Chris, or Cheresa, ever found out about her fling with Brad that all hell could break loose.

"I know that's what you want Chris," she picks up her coffee. "But, once trust is broken, it is so hard to get back. I get that you thought you were helping by getting the restraining order, but how do I know what else you will do behind my back?"

Chris uneasily sighs back to her. "I promise you that I won't do anything, I just need you to believe in me."

Before Trenyce can reply, Cheresa walks by their table quickly as she was going to meet Abby and Brad for a sibling breakfast. She happens to see her parents so she finds her stopping. "Good morning," she says as she arrives at their table. "I hope you two enjoy your breakfast."

"Thank you," Trenyce looks back at her daughter. "Do you want to join us? Chris and I would love to eat with you."

"Yea, we have lots of room," Chris tells Cheresa, hoping that she will say yes.

"I can't," she tells them. "I'm meeting Abby and Brad but thank you."

"Of course," Chris replies to her. "We really should make plans or something now that Brooke's trial is over?"

"We'll see," Cheresa uneasily tells them as she looks at Trenyce and immediately thinks back to seeing her and Brad making love the night before Brooke's trial. "I have a pretty busy calendar right now. Anyways, I didn't want to be rude and walk by without saying anything. See ya!"

Before Chris or Trenyce can reply, Cheresa scurries away leaving her parents heartbroken by her pushing them away again.

"Is it me or could she not get away from us fast enough?" Chris asks Trenyce trying to be brave for both of them.

"It wasn't you," Trenyce sighs heavily. "Again, I'm left wondering if we will ever have a relationship with our daughter Chris."

"Start to trust me again Trey," Chris says back to her. "Together, we can do this. But we have to do it together."

At another table, Eva slowly picks her up coffee as she recalls the previous day how she ran into Will on the pier and he convinced her to still stay in contact with him despite Dominick telling her to avoid her former lover. Eva realizes that she is playing with fire and she doesn't want to lose her marriage but she can't help but feel sorry for Will since he claimed that she was one of the few friends he had now that he was out of jail. Together with the fact that she has been feeling like Dominick has been putting Felicia and work before her, Eva can't deny that she likes spending time with Will.

"You look a million miles away right now," Donovan tells his mother as he arrives at her table and leans over to kiss her cheek before he sits across from her. "What were you thinking of?"

"Victoria," Eva lies to him, not wanting anyone to know about her friendship with Will. "I still hate that she is living out in the mansion with Vinny Victors."

"I know, I'm not thrilled either," Donovan takes a sip of his orange juice. "But maybe the time out of the city will be good for her? After everything she's been through, it's nice to see her have some happiness."

"I suppose that's true," Eva purses her lips together. "Now, tell me what's going on with you? Has Craig Benton come to his senses about these rape charges he filed against Lukas?"

Donovan sighs as he recalls the last time he saw Lukas, his husband told him that he was working on something to make the charges go away. Lukas didn't say much more than that but he can't help but worry about this may or may not entail.

"No, not yet," Donovan admits to her. "Lukas thinks he has found a way to get rid of the charges but, I don't know Mom, this entire situation is a huge mess and I hate it. I really hate it."

Eva reaches over and grabs Donovan's hand. "I know you baby," she tries to encourage him. "But you have to remember that we all make mistakes. Whatever happened or didn't happen between your husband and Craig was one of those mistakes."

"This mistake just feels so much bigger, you know?"

Eva cocks her head forward. "I can understand that," she tells him. "But try to see this from Lukas' perspective and try to remember that you have your own history with Craig. Sometimes, these things just happen."

Donovan uneasily nods back to her. "I'm trying Mom, I really am. I think I'll feel better if Lukas could get the charges dropped. Right now that seems to be the biggest rain cloud over our heads."

Roboto

Robbie quickly opens the door to the main office at Roboto and storms in. He is desperate to start working today so he can try to forget about the fact that Leah and Cory are having a torrid affair. He still can't believe that his ex-wife is hooking up with Natasha's soon to be ex-husband. Considering how many people will be impacted by this affair, he has a hard time understanding why Leah turned to him, of all the people in the world.

He looks up from the sofa when Kim enters the office. "Morning, I'm hoping you have some updates on the serum."

"Good morning," Kim smiles back to her stepson. "I should be able to give you some information. What are you looking for, exactly?"

"How far away are we from launch? What does the packaging look like? Are the details for the launch party all sorted out?"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Kim chuckles back to him. "Calm down there tiger. One thing at a time, okay?"

"Ugh," Robbie groans. "We don't have time for one thing at a time, Kim! We need to get this product out as soon as possible. This serum will be a game changer."

"Yes, it will be," Kim moves over to the sofa and sits next to him. "Why do I get the feeling that this suddenly urgency is about more than just the product? What else is going on with you?"

"Nothing," Robbie shakes his head back to her. "Nothing that I want to talk about, okay?"

"Okay," Kim puts her hand on his leg. "Just know that if you need to talk I'm here. After the other night, I really think we made strides in our relationship, Robbie. We are family and we can help each other."

Robbie looks back at her and is suddenly taken by her beauty. He hasn't looked at Kim in this light in a very long time, but he can't help but think that she is stunning.

"What? Do I have something on my face?" she uneasily laughs as she notices him looking at her.

"No, sorry, it's just…" Robbie continues to look at her as he moves closer to her. "I want to do this," he says as he leans in and kisses her passionately on the lips.

Kim immediately pulls away and looks back at him in surprise. "I'm…I'm sorry," he says as he stands up and rushes out of the office, needing to splash some water on his face as he can't believe what just happened.

Kim leans back into the sofa and slowly touches her lips, still wrapping her head around what just happened.

The Sugarbowl

"What do you mean, why did I stand you up?" Adam huffs back to Robin stunned that she is asking him why he didn't show up. "I was there, Robin! I was, maybe ten minutes late to arrive but you were nowhere to be seen! I searched the entire park, and you weren't there, so don't you dare say that I stood you up!"

Robin feels the blood drain from her face realizing that she left the Eiffel Tower early and likely just missed Adam's arrival, which means, she was in bed with Shane while Adam was waiting for her in Paris. "My God," she whispers as she puts her hand over her face.

"What? You have no words?"

"I was there," Robin replies to him quickly as they lock eyes again. "I left around 4:10. We probably just missed each other!"

"Are you serious?"

"I am," Robin nods back to him as she opens her phone and shows him a selfie that she took with the Eiffel Tower in the backdrop, the time stamp says 4:01 pm. "We must have just got our paths crossed."

"Oh man," Adam fully turns to her. "I'm so sorry for snapping at you. I thought you stood me up."

Robin shakes her head back to him. "I would never do that, I was so excited to spend the evening with you in Paris."

"I feel the same," Adam says as he starts to laugh. "I can't believe that we just missed each other like that."

Robin joins in laughing with him. "Yea, how silly, huh?"

Adam leans into her. "But this means that you wanted to spend the night with me in Paris?"

"Of course I did, I love you Adam."

Adam kisses her passionately and she responds to him. When their lips part, he looks into her eyes. "I love you too," he tells her before he pulls her into a hug. "Let's start over now? Let's work on this relationship we have."

"I'd like that."

"Good cause now nothing will ever keep us apart Robin," Adam tells her as he continues to hold her. Robin gulps heavily, her mind immediately thinking about how while Adam was waiting for her in Paris, she was having intense sex with Shane.
