General Hospital "Is everything okay? What is going on in here?"
Adam asks Robin and Shane again as they uneasily look at one another. Adam can't
help but feel like he is walking in on something important; he can feel the tension
between the Shane and Robin. He just hopes that nothing is seriously wrong with
Robin from her fall. "Everything is fine," Robin purses her
lips together, as she looks at Shane with intent so he knows that he can't say
anything about her being pregnant. "I was just finding out that Shane wants
me to stay in the hospital overnight." Shane looks back at Adam.
"She wasn't happy with the news as she wanted to go home but I would rather
be safe than sorry." "I am in agreeance with the doctor,"
Adam smiles back to Robin. "We want to make sure that you're feeling okay
after the fall." "I'm fine," Robin shakes her hand back
to him. "I just want to get out of here." "You will tomorrow,"
Adam moves up to her. "And then I'm going to take you home and make sure
nothing bad ever happens to you again." Robin hugs Adam as she looks
at Shane, who is continuing to wonder if and when Robin will tell Adam about the
baby. He knows that the sooner that she tells him the sooner they can all start
dealing with this child. The Pampa Grill "Are you
sure you're feeling okay about Abby and Andrew's news?" Greg asks Brooke
as they sit across from one another at one of the tables in the back corner of
the restaurant. Greg recalls how earlier in the evening Abby and Andrew announced
that she was pregnant and that they have decided to give the child up for adoption.
Upon hearing the news, Brooke quickly ran out of the room. Brooke takes
a sip of her wine before she looks back to her estranged husband. "Abby and
I spoke afterwards," she reveals to him. "And, yes, I am okay now. I
think it was just a shock that I was going to lose a grandchild."
"I think it is a very respectable decision that they have made," Greg
replies to her quickly. "If they know they are not ready to be parents, it
is better that they put the child in a home that will be loving."
Brooke takes another sip of her wine. "I agree," she nods back to him.
"And, like I told Abby, if it is an open adoption, maybe we could still be
a part of the child's life." "You're thinking about Logan,
aren't you? And how we thought we had a grandchild and then he was taken from
our lives when it was revealed Brad was lying." Brooke reaches over
and grabs his hand. "I just thought by this time our children would have
babies and we'd be spoiling our grandchild." "I know, I thought
that too," Greg nods back to her as they lock eyes with each other. Greg
quickly takes his hand away from hers when his phone starts to ring. He answers
it. "Greg Lawson," he says into his phone. "Yes, okay, thank you
that was fast." Brooke arches her eyebrow back to him. "What
was that about?" "Our divorce," he looks back at her.
"It's been finalized. We are officially no longer married."
*** Chris moves into the restaurant hoping to grab a drink before
he heads back to his place for the night. He has still been racking his brain
trying to figure out what to do with the fact that Trenyce slept with Brad behind
his back. For months, he was trying to get her to trust him again since he arranged
for the restraining order against Dawn earlier in the year. As he moves
to a table in the restaurant, he freezes in his tracks and immediately gets a
smile on his face by the sight in front of him. "Albertinah?" he asks
his sister as he approaches her table. "You're back in town?"
Albertinah stands up and pulls him into a hug as she is thrilled to see her brother.
"I am back," she says as they exit their embrace. "I thought long
and hard about my life while I was away and I realized that I didn't want to be
away from you or Trenyce any longer." "It's so good to see
you," he says as he sits across from her. "I'm not sure Trenyce will
feel the same." "Why would you say that?" Albertinah asks
him. "I would have thought things were good with you too?"
"She slept with someone else," he reveals to her. "I only just
found out. I'm rattled and beyond disappointed in her." Albertinah
looks back at her brother. "You, maybe more than anyone else, should know
how something like that can just happen. I get that you're hurt Chris, but people
in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Try to remember that, okay?'
Chris smiles back to her. "It's good to have you home, Tina."
*** At the bar, Jacob and Paige sit next to one another as they
are having a drink to catch up on their days. "You really think
that your Dad was trying to get you to break up your Mom and Cory so he could
get back with her?" Jacob asks his girlfriend before he takes a sip of his
beer. Paige moves a piece of her hair behind her ear as she thinks back
to her conversation with Jeff earlier in the day when he once again pressed her
to discuss Leah's relationship with Cory; Paige came to the conclusion that Jeff
wanted her to discuss with Leah so he could reunite with her since Meggan has
ended things with Jeff. She, of course, told him that she didn't want to get involved.
"I think it is a good possibility," Paige replies to him finally.
"The thing with my parents is that they have been together and broken up
and then back together so many times; with my Dad moving out of Meggan's, it makes
sense to me that he would want to get back with my Mom. Only, he can't do that
if she's with Cory." Jacob chuckles back to her. "My parents
have also had their share of romantic failures," he admits to her as he thinks
about the many marriages that Natasha and Shane have both had over the years.
"I guess true love is hard to come by." "I'm still young
that I'm not ready to get married but I'd hope that when I'm ready, I know my
partner well enough to make it last. I only want to be married once."
"Yea, same," Jacob nods back to her. "Speaking of relationships,
I want you to know that I am taking to heart what you said about my insecurities,
Paige." "I didn't mean to come across harsh when I said anything
to you," she quickly tells him. "It's just
" "No,
I get it," he cuts her off. "You don't want to be wondering about me
and my insecurities, I completely understand. I am working on them. I'm not there
yet but I want you to know that I am working towards making sure I am okay."
Paige pulls him into a hug and smiles to him. "Thank you," she
whispers in his ear. "You trying is all I can ask for you. And, I hope you
know that I'm here for you if you need me, Jacob. You don't have to battle this
on your own." At the doorway of the restaurant, Max freezes when
he sees Paige in Jacob's arms. He immediately sighs to himself as he had hoped
that they were drifting further apart as a result of Jacob's insecurities. Based
on what is in front of him, however, Max realizes that he has a lot more work
to do. *** In the middle of the restaurant, Donovan sits
with Victoria and Eva as the three of them are catching up since Victoria is now
living outside of Twin Peaks in the Victors mansion. "It is really
nice that Lukas is making so much effort in trying to make things right with you
guys again," Eva tells her son before she takes a sip of her wine. She is
thrilled that Lukas and Donovan are working towards getting their relationship
back on track; she knows how challenging it was for them after Lukas was arrested
for rape charges against Craig. "He is making an effort," Donovan
nods back to her. "We are talking about the adoption again. Apparently, there
is a child here in Twin Peaks that will be ready for adoption once it is born."
"Wow," Victoria tells her brother. "That is great news. I'd
suspect by then you and Lukas would be back on solid ground too?"
"That's the goal," Donovan says back to her. "How are things with
you out at the mansion in the woods?" Victoria picks up her wine
and thinks about how she recently discovered a secret passage in the study of
the mansion. When she took a few steps inside, she thought she heard voices. Of
course, she panicked and closed the door to the passageway. She hasn't been able
to stop thinking about why Vinny would have lied to her about having the passages
removed. And, if he lied to her about that, what else is he lying to her about?
"They are great," she lies to her family so they don't get worried
about her. The last thing she needs is for Eva and Donovan to press that she leaves
the mansion before she figures out what is going on. "I really love the solitude
that comes with living out there. And, the mansion is so big, it's fun to explore."
"I still wish you'd come home," Eva shakes her head back to her.
"You know that I hate that you're out there." "I know
you do Mom," Victoria uneasily smiles back to her. "But, I am in a good
place, you should be grateful for that." Before Eva or Donovan can
say anything else, Victoria looks over at the entry way of the restaurant and
sees Meggan walk in. She immediately realizes that she has to talk to her about
what she found in the mansion. "Will you two excuse me for a moment?"
Victoria asks as she scoots out of her chair and rushes up to Meggan. "Hey,
I'm glad that I ran into you." "Victoria," Meggan purses
her lips together. "What brings you into the city? Tired of the mansion?"
Victoria chuckles back to her. "I'm just catching up with my mom and
brother," Victoria explains. "Something did happen at the mansion, though."
Meggan arches her eyebrow back to her. "What is it? What happened?"
"I found one of the secret passages," Victoria whispers back to
her so no one can hear her. "I thought I heard voices inside but I panicked
and closed the door quickly." "So Vinny lied about having them
removed?" "It appears so." "You have to
get Vinny out of the mansion," Meggan replies to her. "And once he's
gone, you need to explore the passage and see what's in there, Victoria. Do you
think you can do that?" Victoria gulps heavily before she nods back
to her. "Yea, I think I can." "If you need help from Brad
and I, we will be there. But we have to know what's going on here," Meggan
tells her. "We have to figure out what Vinny is hiding." The
Victors Mansion Vinny quickly moves up to the cage where Daisy and
Brett are still being held hostage. He is carrying a couple more bags of food
for the two of them. "Hello my two favorite house guests,"
he smirks to his ex-wife and twin brother. "I come bearing gifts!"
Daisy quickly moves up to the bars that separate them and takes one of the
bags. She sets it down and then looks back at Vinny. "Aren't you ever going
to get tired of having to come and bring us food all the time? We have gotten
your point, you're furious with us and we have wronged you! I think we have both
learned our lesson, Vinny." Vinny chuckles back to her. "You'd
think so, but I'm not ready to play nice and let you out of here yet. In fact,
you're going to spend your last days on this earth in this cage so you better
get used to it." "Damn you Vinny," Brett grits his teeth
together. "We have had enough of you and this bullshit." "I
don't care what you're tired of," Vinny replies to him. "You're never
leaving." "I could have sworn I heard something the other day,"
Daisy reveals to him. "Was someone else in the house?" Vinny
freezes when he wonders about Victoria; is it possible that she could have almost
discovered Brett and Daisy? "Nope," Vinny lies to them. "Don't
you worry about that. No one will ever find you two in here, I'll make perfectly
sure of that. Now, I really must be going." "We will get out
of here Vinny," Brett yells as Vinny walks away from the cage. "If it's
the last thing we do, we will get out of here!" The Young Mansion;
Nicholas & Andy's Home Andy tosses around in the king size bed
in the master bedroom of the Young mansion. He went to bed a tad earlier than
usual because he hasn't been sleeping well since he saw Reese in the mansion a
few weeks earlier. Of course, he wanted to move out after he saw his dead husband,
but Nicholas convinced him to stay in the mansion a while longer. Andy had hoped
that Nicholas would have been home so they could be together but he had to work
late at the One Day house. Suddenly, the loud scratching noise starts
to come from the closet again. Andy rolls over and tries to cover his ears with
the pillow as this was the last thing he needed while he was trying to sleep.
The noise, however, continues to get louder until Andy groans out in frustration
and turns the lamp on his end table on. He jolts up right in the bed
when he can see the figure of Reese standing in front of the closet again! "Reese?"
Andy calls out in shock and horror. "Reese is that you?" Reese
nods back to him and extends his arm to reach out to Andy. "Andy," Reese
calls out to him in a whisper. "Andy, it's me. Please, please Andy, save
me! Save me from this house!" Andy shakes his head in shock and
confusion and shuts his eyes. "This isn't happening," he whispers to
himself. "This isn't happening to me
" When
he opens his eyes, the figure of Reese is gone and the scratching noise has stopped.
He looks around the empty room and wonders what just happened. "What
is happening to me?" he asks himself as a single tear falls down his cheek.
"Why are you haunting me Reese?" Next on One Day at a Time
- Natasha freaks out at Kim's confession - Andy tells Nicholas he has to leave
the mansion - Abby & Andrew feel the baby kick | |
