The Pier

Cheresa slowly walks down the pier as the blazing hot sun beats down. She turns and looks out at the river and realizes that it is a year ago since her accident; the accident that changed her life forever. She was so close to dying, but thankfully, she recovered. Since then though, her life has been a mess. Currently, more so than ever before as she and Shelley had a one night stand; afterwards, they agreed that they wouldn't tell Dawn because as they don't want to hurt her, but Cheresa hates keeping the secret.

"Hard to believe it's been a year, huh?" Dawn walks up to her ex-girlfriend, who looks back at Dawn from her gaze at the river. Dawn also can't believe that it has been a year since Cheresa fell into the water and almost died.

Cheresa manages to nod back to her. "So much changed that day," she whispers back to her. "I found my biological parents; the truth about baby Logan came out; my Mom got arrested…"

"I know," Dawn moves closer to her. "It set a lot of chain reactions off. It's crazy to think about. I still wish I hadn't taken so many pills…"

"Don't blame yourself," Cheresa says back to her. "Secrets have a way of coming out, no matter what. Chris and Trenyce found out where their daughter is because of the accident. My Mom doesn't have that dark cloud hanging over her head anymore. Some good did come from that day."

"That's a good way of looking at it," Dawn nods back to her. "This is why I love you so much, you always think of the positives," she pauses realizing what she just said. "Sorry, I shouldn't have said that."

"Its fine," Cheresa waves her hand back to her. "I know that you still care but Dawn, I'm not in a position to take you back. Not yet, maybe not ever."

"I know," Dawn puts her head down. "It's just, these feelings don't go away overnight."

"Trust me, I know," Cheresa says back to her. "More than you'll ever know."

Tyler's Townhouse

A naked Tyler and Natasha lay next to one another in his bed with some blankets covering them as they just finished another intense love making session with one another. Tyler looks over at Natasha and smirks to her as he knows that this affair was meant to be a secret but he can't help but enjoy their sex.

"Looks like you needed that just as much as I did," he tells her as he rolls over to face her.

Natasha smiles back to him as she thinks about how she had to put her foot down at Roboto and demand that no one reveal anything about Will and Eva's affair because the last thing she needs is for her mother's life to fall apart. Once she left, she came straight to Tyler's so she could have him again; she finds him a good stress reliever.

"You have no idea," she replies to him. "I can't tell you how much I have grown to really need these sessions. You are keeping me sane!"

Tyler chuckles back to her. "I feel the same way," he admits to her. "After Daisy's death, I really struggled to think that she was gone and I didn't think I'd ever want to be with anyone else again. You've really helped me realize that there is life after death."

"I'm glad that we can help one another," Natasha purses her lips together. "This no strings arrangement is working wonders."

Tyler uneasily chuckles back to her. "What if there were strings? Would that change things for you?"

Natasha quickly looks back at in him in shock. "What are you saying?"

"If we both enjoy this so much, would it be wrong to think that it could work as something more?" Tyler shrugs back to her.

"I don't know," Natasha admits to him. "You and I both know that this relationship would create a lot of drama in our lives. Do we really need that?"

"I think I could handle it," he winks back to her. "But I get it if you're not ready or don't want too. I'm just saying, I could definitely handle it."

Natasha giggles back to him. "I've made a note of that," she says back to him before he leans over and kisses her on the lips.

The Black House; Helen & Dawn's Home

Robin sits in the Adam's SUV and watches as he slowly makes his way up to the front door of the house that he lived in for years when he was married to Helen'". Robin recalls how she was trying to tell Adam that she's pregnant, mostly because Shane gave her 48 hours to come clean with Adam, when he thought that she was going to ask him to not see Helen again because of their catfight. To her surprise, Adam agreed to tell Helen that they have to keep their distance. Now, she is wondering how this will play out because the last time Helen was told to stay away from Adam, all hell brook loose.

She watches as Helen opens the door and Adam moves inside the foyer. "God, I hate this," Robin whispers to herself. "Adam is telling Helen to keep her distance and I still haven't told him about the baby. How am I going to tell him? How can I tell him that I'm pregnant but Shane is the father of the baby?"

She looks back to the front door when she sees it open and Adam emerges. Helen comes out with tears in her eyes; Robin realizes that she is taking it hard that Adam has wanted her to keep her distance. Robin feels her heart move into her throat at the sight of Adam and Helen hugging goodbye.

"It's just a hug," she whispers to herself. "It doesn't mean anything. Adam is with you now. You are his future not his past."

She sees him moving closer to the SUV. "Okay, I have to tell him about the baby. I just have too…"

Robertson Enterprises; The Studio

Paige looks up from some files in front of her when she hears the room to the dark room open and Max appears with some newly developed photos. As he moves closer to her, she can't help but remember seeing him and Abby share, what appeared to be, a close moment outside of the Sugarbowl a few days earlier. She almost wondered if something was going on between the two of them.

"Are those the projected fall campaign budgets?" Max asks her as he moves closer to her.

"They are," Paige tells him. "Looks like we have we have room for another photo shoot or two."

"Oh great," Max says back to her. "I was hoping that they'd keep giving us money. I really love the creative aspect of putting together the shoots."

"I think everyone can tell," Paige replies to him. "Your work has been speaking for itself."

"Thanks Paige. I appreciate that."

"How are things with you? Outside of work, I mean."

Max looks back at her in surprise wondering where her questions are coming from. "Uh, fine? Why do you ask?"

"I couldn't help but see you and Abby together a few days ago at the Sugarbowl," she reveals to him. "It looked like you two were close."

"We are close," he replies to her quickly. "We are friends. Did it bother you? Seeing Abby and I close?"

"No, it was just curious that's all."

"We are friends," he tells her. "She is pregnant with Andrew's baby."

"What?" Paige gasps back to him in complete shock. "I had no idea."

"Yea," Max nods back to her. "What you saw was probably me feeling the baby kick. It was a surreal experience."

"I can't believe Abby is going to be a mother," Paige shakes her head back to him. "This is very surprising news."

"Well," Max looks back at her. "They are going to give the baby up for adoption. Neither Andrew or Abby think they are ready to be parents yet."

"One shocker after another," Paige chuckles back to him. "I'm glad they realize that they aren't ready to be parents but this is a lot to take in."

"Yea, I figured as much," Max laughs back with her. "Anyways, it's been nice being there for Abby. She's needed the support."

Paige looks back at him and smiles. "It's nice that she has you Max," Paige tells him. "You're a good person and a good friend. She's lucky to have a friend like you."

Max blushes at her compliments. "You're kind for saying so, Paige. Thanks."

The Sugarbowl

"So your last doctor's appointment went well?" Andrew asks Abby as they sit across from each other in the back booth of the coffeehouse. He hates that he had to miss the last appointment but he was busy trying to find a job; one of the things that the pregnancy has made Andrew realize is that he can't live off his inheritance from Frederick forever. Even though he isn't going to raise this child with Abby, he realizes that he should have a job to start to provide for himself and a family in the future.

"Everything is perfect with the child," Abby replies to him with a smile on her face. "The doctor even asked me if I wanted to know the sex of the baby but I said no. I didn't think it mattered."

"That's fair," Andrew nods back to her. "As long as he or she is healthy, then we are good. I still want the baby to be okay, you know?"

"Yea, I get it," Abby tells him. "Something weird is definitely going on."

Andrew arches his eyebrow. "What is going on? Did the doctor say we should be concerned about something?"

"No, not about the baby," Abby quickly replies to him. "It's me. I'm actually starting to feel a connection to this kid."

Andrew uneasily chuckles back to her. "What do you mean, a connection?"

"I can't explain it," Abby says back to him. "Just feeling it move around and the kicking and seeing it grow at doctor's appointments; I'm starting to feel like an attachment to the baby, that's all."

Andrew looks back at her in surprise. "I guess that's normal since it is growing inside you," he says back to her. "But, I have to wonder…"

"Wonder about what?"

"If you're growing attached to the baby does that mean you're having second thoughts about the adoption?"

"No," Abby tells him firmly. "I still think we should give the baby up. I think that's the right and only thing to do."

Andrew nods back to her, wondering if Abby believes everything she is saying right now. "Good, then we are on the same page," he tells her, hoping that he is getting through to her. "Giving up the baby is the best option, I agree with you on that."

The Tower's; Floor One; Andy's Condo

Andy slowly pours himself a third cup of coffee and adds some sugar into the drink. He stirs it and then takes a drink of it. He looks up and his eyes are blood shot from a lack of sleep; he hasn't been sleeping because he is scared that if he does fall back asleep, he will see Reese again and he doesn't want to go through that.

At first he assumed that moving back to his condo would solve the problem but he has grown worried that because he and Reese spent so much time there, the ghostly vision of his husband would appear again.

"If I just stay away, nothing bad can happen to me," he says before he takes another sip of his coffee.

He freezes when he hears a knock on his door. He slowly moves up and peers through the peep hole and sees Nicholas standing on the other side of the door. He breathes a sigh of relief and opens the door.

"Hey Nicholas," Andy says letting his boyfriend into the house.

Nicholas looks at Andy and immediately becomes concerned about him based on his appearance. "Andy, are you okay? You don't look so good."

"I'm fine," Andy snaps back to him. "I'm tired of everyone asking me that!"

"Sorry," Nicholas puts his hands up in the air. "Did you see Reese again? Is that what's going on?"

"I…I don't know," Andy stumbles over his words. "I haven't slept in a couple of days. I'm too scared too."

"Oh Andy," Nicholas tries to move closer to him. "Do you want me to stay here until you sleep?"

"No!" Andy yells at him. "Don't you understand? This is all your fault? This all started when I moved into that damn house of yours!"

"Andy, come on, you're being extreme now because you haven't slept," Nicholas defends himself. "Come on, let's get you to bed. I'll stay here and wait until you wake up again."

"No," Andy pushes him back away from. "I don't want your help! I don't want anything more to do with you!"

"Hey, I get that you're tired, but you can't treat me this way because I don't stand for it," Nicholas says back to him.

"Then don't stand for it," Andy sneers back to him. "Get out of my house and get out of my life!"

"Andy, please."

"Get out Nicholas! We are over!" Andy yells at him as Nicholas feels his heart sink inside his chest. Nicholas puts his head down and slowly walks to the door. He leaves and Andy starts to shake a little so he quickly moves the coffee back to his mouth.

"I have to stay awake," he whispers to himself. "I have too."

The Victors Mansion

Victoria, Meggan, Brad, Daisy and Brett look in horror as Vinny holds the small box in his hand with a red button on it; they know that if Vinny pushes that button, the Victors mansion will explode as he has lined the secret passage way with bombs.

"Vinny, please!" Victoria pleads with him as she looks into his eyes. "You don't want to do this! You don't want to kill all of us! I can help you with this, I promise you that."

"And what about your friend?" he sneers back to her as he looks at Brad, who just tried to attack Vinny to stop him from blowing up the mansion. "He just tried to fight with me! You want him to live after he attacked me?"

"He's scared," Victoria tells him. "He doesn't want to die. None of us do. And there is another way out of this, I can help you! You just have to give me the chance."

Vinny looks at her and then he scans his eyes to Brad, then Meggan, followed by Daisy and Brett. Seeing his brother and ex-wife behind the caged bars, he realizes that if anyone finds out what he did to them, he will go to jail for a very long time.

"There's no escaping what I've done," he whispers back to Victoria. "There's no escaping this. There's only one solution."

Victoria screams out "No!" as Vinny pushes the red button. Soon, the first explosive goes off and Vinny's body flies through the air! Then the second explosive goes off followed by the third. In the aftermath, there's dust every where and some flames are burning the mansion. Everyone in the secret passage is laying unconscious with no signs of life anywhere.
