Twin Peaks Police Station

Simona sits at her desk and looks over some pending files that she is working on. It is never a dull moment in the police station, and today is certainly no different. She picks up her coffee and takes a sip of it while she looks at her first file. As she looks at the large stack of files, she realizes that most of her day will be spent at behind her desk as she tries to catch up on it.

She looks over at her phone when it starts to ring and quickly answers it. "Detective Simona Lopez," she says into the phone as she immediately feels the blood drain from her face. "My God," she gasps to herself. "Yes, I'll be right there. I'll send emergency vehicles as well! We are on this."

She hangs up the phone and stands up quickly. "How and why did the Victors mansion have mulitple explosions at it?" she asks herself as she rushes out of her office. "I just have to first ensure no one was hurt in the explosions before I put this all together!"

The Sugarbowl

Trenyce ushers herself into the coffeehouse and orders herself a coffee. After pouring some cream into it, she takes a sip of it and thinks about her recent visit with Brad. They have agreed that their one night together was a mistake but he told her that Cheresa should learn to accept what happened because they are two consenting adults. She wonders if he has a point and if she should maybe be more firm with Cheresa.

As she prepares to leave the coffeehouse, she notices Chris sitting alone at the window seat. He looks deep in thought and she wonders what he is thinking about.

"Hey, how are you?" she asks him as she moves up to him. "I know I am the last person you wanted to see but I wanted to show that I can still be civil."

Chris looks at the woman he loves and feels his heart crack in his chest. He recently admitted to Albertinah that he is still in love with Trenyce but he is hurt by her affair with Brad. "I have tried to be civil as well, Trey, it just hurts knowing that you were with Brad."

"I know," Trenyce nods her head back to him in embarrassment. "I don't know what else to say or do other than say I'm sorry, Chris."

"I don't think there is anything you can say or do," he replies to her. "I am just going to need time to get over this, I suppose."

"Just know that it can be done," she looks into his eyes. "I, eventually, was able to get over you filing that restraining order against Dawn earlier this year. So, even though you think trust is broken, it can be put back together with time and patience. Just remember that, okay?"

***

Paige scurries into the coffeehouse desperate to grab an iced coffee before she heads back to the studio at Robertson Enterprises. After she orders, she happens to notice Abby sitting in the back booth by herself. Paige immediately recalls how Max told her Abby is pregnant with Andrew's baby and that they are planning to give the child up for adoption. She almost can't believe it; the last person she thought that would end up with a child is Abby. And, she is still floored that they are giving the baby up for adoption.

"I hear congratulations are in order," Paige says as she moves up to the booth. "Max told me about the baby."

Abby looks up and smiles back to her. "Yea, I guess soon everyone will know because of this growing belly."

Paige scoots into the booth across from Abby. "He also told me about the adoption. How are you feeling about that? Seems like a big step?"

"It is," Abby nods back to her. "But it's the right decision for Andrew and I. Neither one of us feel like we are ready to be parents, so why not give someone who can't have a child the opportunity?"

"That's a good way to look at it," Paige replies to her quickly. "I don't know if I could do that."

"You'd keep you baby?"

Paige nods back to her. "I don't think the timing will ever be perfect," she admits to her. "But, if I was blessed by having a child, I would do what I could to love and support him or her. It's not often you will get pregnant or have the chance to have a child."

Abby uneasily nods back to her. "Yea, that's fair. I still think we are doing what's best."

"Good," Paige smiles back to her. "Then I support your decision, Abby."

Bruno's Gym

Andrew finishes punching the large black boxing bag before he jogs to the side of the ring and grabs his water bottle. He takes a long swig of it as he is thirsty from his workout. He looks over and happens to see Max lifting some weights. Andrew realizes that he hasn't seen much of Max lately and finds himself walking over to him.

"That was a nice set," Andrew notes to him as Max puts the weights up. "You have good form."

Max smirks as he sits up. "Thanks man," he replies to him quickly. "Gotta keep up with the gains."

Andrew chuckles back to him. "Yea, I hear you. It's never easy as we get older, hey?"

"I ran into Abby the other day," Max says as he starts to towel off. "She's glowing now that she's telling people about the baby."

Andrew uneasily nods back to him as he thinks about how he wondered if Abby was having second thoughts about giving the baby up for adoption. He knows that he wants her to give the child up because he doesn't feel like he is ready to be a father; but, he also realizes that it has to be her decision at the end of the day.

"Yea, she is seemingly growing more attached by the day," he replies to him. "She still wants to give the baby up though."

"I still can't believe that she wants to do that," Max admits to him. "If I was going to be a father, I would want to be a part of the baby's life. It's baffling that she doesn't want that too."

"I want her to give the baby up myself," Andrew reveals to him. "I don't think I'm ready to be a father."

"No one is ever ready for that man," Max replies to him quickly. "But people adjust based on the hands that they are dealt."

"I guess so," Andrew says back to him. "I'm glad you would want to be there for the baby but I have to admit, I'm relieved that Abby wants to adopt it out."

"I hope you guys don't regret your decision," Max tells him. "Cause once you sign those adoption papers, your child will be gone forever. Don't be a fool about this, Andrew."

Adam's Townhouse

"You were quiet on the drive home," Adam tells Robin as she sits on the sofa in the living room of his townhouse. They have just gotten home from Adam telling Helen that he has to keep his distance from her because of her fight with Robin which resulted in Robin falling down the stairs. Adam wasn't happy that he had to tell Helen this, but he realizes that right now it is for the best.

"I guess I was just thinking," Robin stands up and looks at him. She feels her heart racing because she has to tell Adam that she is pregnant as Shane has told her that she only has 48 hours to do so or he will tell him. "Helen seemed sad when we left."

"Helen and I have been in each other's lives for 20 years," Adam replies to her. "It is only natural that she is upset when I tell her that I have to keep my distance from her. I thought you wanted this?"

"I don't know what I want anymore," Robin quickly tells him. "It just seems like everything is happening so quickly since that damn fall."

"What are you talking about? What is happening quickly?" Adam asks her in concern.

"Just everything," Robin sighs back to him. "I hate everything that has happened these last few months, Adam."

Adam comes up to her and pulls her into a hug. "You are fine," he whispers to her. "You weren't seriously hurt in the fall and you and Helen can keep your distance going forward. Let's just focus on the positive, okay?"

Robin looks into his eyes as they exit their embrace and a single tear falls down her cheek. "Why are you crying?"

"I have something to tell you," she reveals to him. "And, I'm not sure how you're going to react."

"You can tell me anything."

Robin uneasily looks back at him. "After I fell down the stairs, I learned something while I was in the hospital," she begins to tell him.

"Okay? Are you sick or something?"

"No, nothing like that," she quickly replies to him.

"Then what is it Robin? What's going on?" a concerned Adam asks her again.

Robin takes a deep breath. "I'm pregnant Adam. I'm going to have a baby."

Roboto

"I have an updated report on some potential products that we could launch," Cassie announces as she moves into the main office at Roboto and spies Kim and Natasha sitting on the sofa, both with their laptops open. Cassie is eager to see if the Twin Peaks Sun will run a special edition of the story that she leaked to them earlier in the day; she knows that Natasha will be livid when she finds out that Eva and Will's affair will be announced. She realizes that she will have to act shocked like everyone else when the news is revealed.

"Great," Natasha stands up and takes the folder from her. "We need to move on this now. The longer we hold off, the more Robertson is gaining on us."

"I couldn't agree more," Kim tells her. "Once we decide on the product, we have to get all hands on deck. I've also been talking to a security team to ensure that Robertson doesn't get their hands on our product this time."

"That's great," Natasha nods back to her. "Because the last thing we can afford is another copycat product from Dominick."

Before any woman can say anything else, Natasha hears her phone start to ping non-stop. "What on earth?" she asks herself wondering why her phone is blowing up. She grabs her phone and looks at the screen of incoming messagse and calls. Immediately, she feels her heart sink in her chest. "No, this can't be happening. My God!" Natasha says in a panicked whisper.

"What is it?" Cassie asks her.

"The Sun, they just released a story exposing my mother's affair with Will," Natasha replies to her. "Someone leaked the affair to the paper!"

Twin Peaks Executive Hotel

Will paces back and forth in his hotel room as he thinks about how he and Eva made love again recently. He knows that she told him after the first time that they couldn't continue to see one another, but the fact that she came to him after another disagreement with Dominick proves, to him, that they belong together.

"Now, I just have to figure out a way to convince her to leave her husband," Will whispers to himself. "Maybe Eva and I could have something long term now?"

Will moves to his phone and looks at a picture of Eva. "You and I, we belong together Eva. I just have to make you realize it."

Suddenly, Will gets an incoming alert that he was mentioned in the newspaper. He arches his eyebrow and quickly opens the Sun app on his phone. The bold headline reads, "Wife of Robertson Enterprises CEO caught in a Love Affair with Former Inmate".

"What the fuck?" Will gasps at the headline. "Who would have leaked our affair? Kim? Jesus, I have to get a hold of Eva to let her know about this."

He starts dialing Eva's number, but worries when it goes to voicemail. "Come on Eva, answer your phone!"

Dominick's Townhouse

"Yes, that's right," Dominick says into his phone as he stands in the living room of his home. "I want three dozen red roses delivered to my house tonight. Yes, I'm planning a romantic evening for my wife and want nothing but the best for her. Perfect, thank you."

Dominick hangs up his phone and realizes that his plan to give Eva a romantic evening is slowly coming together. He has ordered roses, has champagne chilling and has a chef coming into make a dinner for them.

"I will prove to you, my darling, that I have no intention of being with Felicia," he says to himself. "You are my one and only and I will prove that to you."

Suddenly, he hears his phone ping with an alert. "That must be the chef," he says as he grabs his phone and looks at the screen. His face freezes, however, when he sees the headline from the Sun and he immediately feels his blood pressure start to rise.

"No," he yells at his screen in disbelief. "Eva and that damn Will Coutts? No! It can't be! There has to be some kind of mistake!"

Twin Peaks General Hospital

Shane stands in the emergency room in horror as he sees Victoria, Vinny, Brett, Meggan, Daisy and Brad all wheeled in separately on gurney's. He can't believe that so many people he knows, and cares about, appear to be hanging on by a thread. After the last patient is brought in the ER, Simona rushes in.

"What the hell happened?" Shane asks her quickly as he starts to look over some notes, stunned by how many people were just brought into the hospital.

"There were three explosions at the Victors mansion," Simona quickly tells him. "We have a team out there now trying to figure out what all happened but it may take some time. I wanted to be here when the victims were brought in. Do you know how they are?"

"Not good," Shane replies as he closes the files. "I don't know if any of them are going to survive but I need to attend to them immediately. Please start calling their loved ones; they need to know what's happened."

Simona watches as Shane rushes off to start to attend to the victims of the bombings. She sighs heavily as she knows the phone calls she is about to make will not be easy ones. She just hopes that the people just admitted to the hospital live, otherwise there will be a lot more heartache in Twin Peaks.
