Chris sits at a side table in the relatively busy bar and slams another whiskey down. He looks over to the bar and whistles to get Shelley's attention.

"I'll have another double," he calls out as Shelley uneasily looks back to him. He has had three doubles already, but he wants one more before he leaves. He is drowning his sorrows over the fact that his life is a complete mess right now; for months, he was trying to get Trenyce to forgive him for filing the restraining order against Dawn to stay away from Cheresa. Just when he thought he was making inroads, he learned that she had an affair with Brad. He can't believe that he was so stupid in thinking that they could get back together when she was sleeping with Brad behind his back. The entire time he was trying to get Trenyce to forgive him so they could present a united front to Cheresa, Trenyce was betraying him behind his back.

"Here ya go," Shelley says as she puts his drink on the table. "I gotta ask ya, are you planning to drive home?"

Chris looks back at her in surprise. "This will be my last one, don't worry about it."

"I just wanna make sure you get home okay, that's all. I don't mind calling you a cab or if you have uber…"

"I'll be okay," Chris says as he picks up his drink and takes a swig of his whiskey. "How much do I owe you? I'm leaving once I'm done this drink."

"No rush on the payment," Shelley tells him as she slides the bill down on his table. "I can bring you a coffee or water if you need to sober up."

"I told you I'm fine," Chris replies to her. "There's no need to worry."

At the bar, Nicholas takes another sip of his drink while he wonders about Andy and how he is doing. He still can't believe that Andy dumped him because he thinks he is to blame for the sightings of Reese. Nicholas wishes that he had at least been present during one of these sightings so he could have experienced what Andy is going through, or to even know what Andy is seeing.

"Maybe he'll reconsider after he gets some sleep," Nicholas whispers to himself. "Or, maybe he really doesn't want anything more to do with me. I wish I knew."

"Is this seat taken?" a young man asks Nicholas as he scoots in and sits next to Nicholas.

"It is now," Nicholas smiles back to him, noticing how attractive the man is.

"Good answer," the man winks back to Nicholas. "What are you drinking?"

"Manhattan," Nicholas says back to him.

"That sounds perfect, I'll have one Shell."

"Sure thing," Shelley smiles back to him as she makes the drink.

"So, what brings a good looking guy like you to the bar alone?" he asks Nicholas, while waiting for his drink.

Nicholas uneasily shrugs his shoulders back to him. "Needed an escape. Long story, I guess."

"Aren't they always?" the man chuckles back to him. "Whatever the reason, I'm guessing it could be my lucky day since I too am in need of an escape."

Nicholas locks eyes with him for a moment and then licks his lips. "Could be what we both needed," he says back to him.

At the doorway, Dawn comes into the bar and looks around. She immediately sees Nicholas sitting at the bar with a man and feels the blood drain from her face. "What the hell is going on?" she asks herself quickly.

The Sugarbowl

"I think it's pretty normal for you to have a growing connection to the child," Max tells Abby as they sit across from one another in the back booth of the coffeehouse together. Max just finished hearing how Abby recently told Andrew that she has started to grow connected to their baby and he was worried that she was changing her mind about the adoption. "It is growing inside you and you can feel like kick you all the time. When I felt that, it was incredible."

"It is pretty cool," Abby gushes back to him. "I wish my Mom was here to experience some of this though."

Max arches his eyebrow back to her. "You don't think it's odd that she just randomly left town without word?"

"Yes and no," Abby replies to him quickly. "After her trial, my parent's divorce became finalized, so I can understand why she wanted some time away. I just hope she comes back before the baby is born."

"Does that mean that you are thinking about keeping the baby now?"

Abby uneasily looks back at him. "Andrew still wants me to give it up and I don't want to ruin anything between us. We have grown so close these last few weeks, I don't want anything to come between that."

"Your child shouldn't be a determining factor to you being with Andrew," Max replies to her. "If you want this baby Abby, you won't have a second chance to get him or her back after you sign those papers. And if Andrew can't accept that, you have to wonder if he's really the one for you."

The Pampa Grill

Andrew moves inside the restaurant hoping to grab a drink before he heads home for the day. As he looks around the restaurant to see if he can find a table, his eyes stop at the back table in absolute surprise. He sees Albertinah sitting alone; he didn't realize that she was back in town but the sight of his former lover makes him feel slightly weak in the knees.

"Were you ever going to tell me you were back in town?" he asks as he approaches Albertinah's table. She looks up at him and purses her lips together. "You are looking good, Albertinah."

"So are you , Andrew," she replies to him as he sits across from her.

"What brings you back to Twin Peaks? Or do I have to ask?" Andrew winks back to her.

Albertinah chuckles before she takes a sip of her wine. "Chris and Trenyce are going through a difficult time," she replies to him quickly. "I am here to support my brother."

"Ah, makes sense," Andrew nods back to her. "How is teaching?"

"I stopped teaching after I left town," she reveals to him. "I needed a clean slate. I was given a nice package that is keeping me going until I find something else that I have passion for."

"I remember that passion well."

"Andrew," Albertinah cuts him off. "I am flattered but we are in the past. I get that we will run into one another from time to time since this is a small town but please, I have moved on and you have too as well."

"Can't blame a guy for trying," Andrew chuckles back to her. "But, I can I respect your decision, Albertinah. It's just nice to see you again. I had missed you."

Albertinah smiles back to him. "Thanks and for the record, I had missed you to."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"I can't believe Vinny was holding Daisy and Brett hostage all this time," Lukas shakes his head back to Meggan, who is still in the hospital for observation. He still can't believe that Meggan almost died in Victors mansion while they were looking through the secret tunnel that Victoria had discovered. No one imagined, however, that Meggan, Brad and Victoria would have discovered Daisy and Brett being held hostage in a cage within the secret tunnels.

"I should have known that it was possible," Meggan replies to him quickly. "After all, Dave held me in that cage years ago. He forced me to drink again."

"You had no way of knowing that Vinny would do that, especially to Daisy."

"He changed after her affair with Tyler," Meggan tells her brother. "I saw a look in his eyes that I had never seen before."

"God, you must have been so scared when he announced that there were bombs in the mansion."

"We were all scared," Meggan nods back to him. "I'm just glad that we are all okay. We don't know if Vinny or Brett died."

"Vinny better hope it was him," Lukas looks back at her. "Because I'll kill him myself if he didn't die."

"Don't talk like that," Meggan says back to him. "Come here and give me a hug. I'm just glad I'm okay and we will all make a full recovery."

"I'm so grateful too Meg," Lukas says to her as he hugs her. "You're not allowed to leave me yet."

"I can't believe everything that you just told me," Trenyce says as she holds Daisy's hand in another hospital room, as her Aunt just finished telling her everything that happened in the Victors mansion. "How could Vinny be so cruel?"

"I guess I really hurt him by having an affair with Tyler all those months ago," Daisy replies to her Aunt. "But look, the most important thing is that I'm okay and I'm finally free. I never thought I would see outside that cage again."

Trenyce pulls her into a hug. "I never actually believed you were gone. It's why I hired Brad to try to figure out the truth."

"I'm so glad that you did," Daisy lets a tear escape her eye. "I don't know if I will ever be able to thank you enough."

"No thanks is necessary," Trenyce tells her as they exit their embrace. "I'm just glad that you're back. Do you know when we will get the DNA test back?"

Daisy shakes her head back to her. "I just hope that Vinny is dead. I don't know how I will move on if he's still alive."

"Let's not dwell on that," Trenyce smiles to her. "Positive thoughts only. Can I get you anything? Anything at all?"

Daisy nods back to her. "Can you call Tyler for me? I'd love to see him, please?"

"Sure," Trenyce nods back to her. "I'll be right back."

Tyler's Townhouse

"God, how is it that every time you make love to me it gets better and better?" Natasha smirks over to Tyler as they lay next to each other in his bed, fresh from having sex with each other.

"Probably because I've learned what you like," Tyler chuckles back to her. "But, I'm glad you're enjoying this, because like I told you, I am too."

"If you're about to tell me that you're thinking of us having strings, I'm still not sure that is the best idea," Natasha admits to him. "I can't imagine how your father would feel to finding you that you're sleeping with Bob Calimo's daughter."

"Meh," Tyler shrugs his shoulders. "I don't care what he thinks, Nat. You make me happy and I clearly am putting a smile on your face. What else should matter?"

Natasha giggles back to him. "I wish it was that easy."

Before Tyler can reply, his cell phone rings. He reaches over and grabs his phone and arches his eyebrow. "It's Trenyce, I wonder what she wants," he looks at Natasha before he answers the call. "Hey Trey, what's up?"

Natasha looks at Tyler's face as the blood drains from. "What?" he jumps out of the bed. "How is this possible? When did this happen? Uh, never mind that, I'll be right there!"

"What is it?" Natasha asks him as he leaps out of the bed.

"It's Daisy," he tells her. "She's alive."

Roboto

"I heard that Dominick and Eva had a huge fight at the hospital," Kim moves into the main office of Roboto and immediately reveals the news to Robbie, who is pouring himself a drink at the bar. Kim doesn't know how the truth about the affair was revealed but she is hoping that it can play in Roboto's favor now that it has. "I can only imagine how livid Dominick is that Eva slept with Will."

"I heard that too," Robbie looks back at her. "Natasha is probably upset by this."

"Well Natasha has certainly created her share of scandals in this town," Kim quips back to him. "She will have to deal with the fact that her mother is human and also makes mistakes."

"It is true I suppose," Robbie nods back to her. "I just hate how much damage this is causing. I'm beginning to wonder if hiring Will was the right thing to do."

"I know it was," Kim confidently tells him. "Once Roboto figures start to improve and Robertson's start to decline, you'll see that too. Bob would be so proud of me right now, I can see him now, laughing about it while he sips on a brandy."

Robbie smiles at the thought of his father. "You're right, I can see that too. You knew him well, Kim."

Kim smiles back to him as she moves up to Robbie. "I know things have been tense lately Robbie," she looks into his eyes. "But, I do want you to know that I am doing everything for the company. I want our family legacy to mean something."

"You mean that, don't you?"

"Of course I mean that."

Robbie looks into her eyes and finds himself leaning into her. Before either one of them knows what's happening, their lips are touching. The kiss lasts for only a moment, but at the doorway, Greg sees the entire lip lock. He quickly leaves, unseen.

"Sorry," Robbie says looking into her eyes. "I don't know what came over me."

"It's fine," Kim continues to look into his eyes. "But, we have agreed that our kissing was a mistake, so we should not do that again."

Suddenly, Robbie looks back at Kim and recalls how he saw her and Greg leaving the Pampa Grill together recently; he could tell based on their body language that they were going to make love to one another. He shakes his head at the thought.

"You're right, my bad," he quickly tells her, giving her the cold shoulder.

BarCode

"What is this?" Dawn quickly moves up to Nicholas and the man that is sitting next to him. "Nicholas, what are you doing?"

Nicholas uneasily looks back at Dawn and arches his eyebrow. "Dawn, what do you mean? I'm having a drink. Is everything okay?"

"Where is Andy?" Dawn replies to him immediately. "And, how do you know this guy?"

"I don't know where Andy is," Nicholas admits to her. "And, we just met. We are having a drink together. Dawn, what is going on?"

"This guy," Dawn looks at the man sitting next to Nicholas, who gulps heavily. "He looks exactly like Reese, Andy's dead husband. So, I'm going to ask you again, what the hell is going on here?"

Adam's Lexus

"Damn you Robin," Adam says as he speeds down the road. He just left his townhouse because Robin confessed to him that she is pregnant and Shane is the father of her unborn child. He can't believe that Robin slept with Shane in Paris after she thought he stood her up at the Eiffel Tower; not only did she cheat on him, but now she is pregnant with another man's baby. "How could you do this to me? How could you do this to us?"

He feels his blood boil as he thinks about how he recently told Helen that he would stay away from her because he thought that is what Robin wanted.

"I did everything I damn well could to make you happy and it wasn't enough! No, you had to go and have sex with Shane," he groans to himself. "Ugh!"

Meanwhile, Chris drives towards his house in his SUV. As he looks out to the road in front of him, he can't help but notice that everything is a little blurred, a sign that he is feeling the effects of the whiskey's he had earlier in the night.

He puts his hands tightly on the wheel. "Okay, maybe I had one too many doubles," he whispers to himself. "But, I'm almost home. Then I can sleep this off. You can make it, Chris."

Suddenly, some oncoming headlights startle Chris and quickly jolts into the other lane of on-coming traffic! His car slams into Adam's Lexus, causing Adam's car to flip over! It hands on its roof, while Chris' SUV comes to a complete stop and some dark smoke emerges from the under the hood.

Next on One Day at a Time
