Enterprises; The Studio "You're here early this morning,"
Max notes over to Paige, who scurries into the studio carrying a takeout coffee
from the Sugarbowl in her hand. He can't help but notice how beautiful she looks;
he still hopes that somehow, he can break her and Jacob up so they can be together
again. "Busy day planned?" "You have no idea," Paige
nods back to him. "I'm actually surprised you're here. I heard about your
Dad's accident, is he okay?" "I'm heading back to the hospital
soon," Max tells her. "He was still in surgery and I wanted to get some
things done. I'll be there when he gets out of the operation." "Has
there been any word on his condition? He will be okay?" Max shrugs
his shoulders back to her. "I'm hoping that everything is okay," Max
admits to her. "I'm trying not to think about anything negative, you know?"
"Keep me posted?" she asks him as he nods to her. "Before
you leave, I have some news for you that I wanted you to hear from me."
Max arches his eyebrow back to her. "What is it? Is everything okay?"
Paige nods back to him. "Everything is great," she smiles as he
holds up her finger and reveals the diamond ring. "Jacob and I are engaged.
We are going to be married." Max gulps hard as he looks back at
her. Immediately, he forces a smile on his face and moves up to her and gives
her a hug even though the news is upsetting to him. He had hoped to split the
couple up so he and Paige could reunite. Now, she is engaged to another man. "Congratulations,"
he says as he holds the woman he loves. "If this is what you want, then I'm
happy for you." At the entry way, Jacob opens the door and sees
Max holding his fiancé. He glares at them for a moment and can't help but
feel his insecurities start to arise. He quickly leaves unseen, hoping to get
his head on straight. The last thing he needs is for Paige to think that he doesn't
trust her again. "This is what I want," Paige replies to Max
as they exit their embrace. "Thanks for your support." "Always
Paige," Max uneasily nods back to her. "Anyways, I should get to the
hospital. We'll be in touch?" "Of course, keep me posted on
Adam." Max rushes out of the studio and leans up against the hallway
wall, feeling his heart racing. "Damn it," he whispers to himself as
he grabs his phone. He starts to send his mother a text message, "Paige and
Jacob are engaged, we must break them up ASAP." After he sends the
message, he scurries away, knowing that he has to get to the hospital as quickly
as he can to find out about Adam's surgery. The Sugarbowl
Cory moves into the coffeehouse looking to grab a beverage before he heads
to the One Day House to start his work day. He is grateful that Nicholas was able
to hire him on as he was feeling like he needed a new purpose; the fact that he
will be helping so many people is an added bonus to him. After he grabs
his coffee, he happens to see Jeff sitting at the window bar by himself. He wonders
if the reason that Jeff has been telling everyone that he and Leah are together
is because he wants to create drama so he can get Leah back. He wouldn't blame
Jeff if that was the case as he has realized what a catch Leah is; but, he wants
to make sure that Jeff knows not to pull any funny business with her.
"Morning," Cory says as he approaches Jeff, who turns to face him. "I'm
glad I ran into you." "Are you?" Jeff asks him back quickly.
"If this is going to turn into one of those lectures that Leah has been giving
him about how I've created drama by revealing your affair, you can save it. I've
heard it all before." "I wasn't going to lecture you at all,"
Cory replies to him quickly. "I was going to tell you that your plan isn't
going to work." "My plan?" Jeff asks him back, dumbfounded
by what he is talking about. "What plan do you think I have?"
"The plan to create chaos for Leah and I so you can get her back," Cory
tells him. "I know what you're trying to do Jeff, and it's not going to work."
Jeff laughs back to him. "Man, if you think I did all that to get back
with Leah, you're more foolish than I gave you credit for. I have no intentions
of getting back together with my ex-wife." "Good," Cory
nods back to him. "Just keep it that way." The Calimo Mansion
"I can't thank you enough for letting me stay here last night,"
Eva tells Natasha as she pours herself a cup of coffee in the living room of the
Calimo mansion. After Dominick kicked her out of the townhouse the previous night,
Eva had no idea where she was going to go. Thankfully, Natasha was still awake
and the mansion has plenty of room for her to stay in. "Of course,"
Natasha purses her lips together "You know that you're always welcome here.
I still can't believe that someone leaked your affair to the press. If I ever
find out who did that
" Eva chuckles back to her. "I guess
it is my fault for sleeping with Will in the first place," Eva says back
to her. "I should have known better." "We have all made
mistakes," Natasha tells her mother. "But not everyone has their mistakes
plastered all over the media like that." "I just hate that
I've hurt Dominick," Eva admits to him. "I don't think he will ever
forgive me." "And what about Will? Where do things stand with
you and him?" Eva uneasily looks back at her daughter as she knows
that she is still very attracted to Will but she has to keep her distance from
him because she wants her marriage to work. "I
" "Good
morning, I'm glad I found you Natasha," Cassie announces as she storms into
the living room. "I have that file that you desperately wanted."
"Cassie," Natasha stands up from the sofa. "Who let you in
here? I was in the middle of a private conversation with my mother!"
"I let myself in," Cassie quips back to her. "The door was
unlocked. And, good morning Eva. I'm guessing you're staying here now as a result
of your affair?" "That's none of your damn business!"
Eva shrieks back to her. Cassie chuckles back to herself. "Don't
get your panties in a knot," Cassie tells her. "Has Natasha told you
that she knew all along that Will was trying to seduce you yet? Is that what you
were discussing?" Eva looks over at Natasha in horror, wondering
what Cassie is talking about. Natasha glares back to Cassie, stunned by her revelation.
The last thing Eva needed to find out today was that Kim hired Will to seduce
her; she is going through enough as it is. "What is she talking
about?" Eva asks her daughter as her voice cracks a little, not sure what
is going on. "Natasha?" "Kim hired Will to seduce you,"
Cassie stuns Eva. "We wanted to get the upper hand in the corporate world
and thought if Dominick's world was falling apart, Robertson Enterprises would
take the hit." "I
" Eva starts to say as she gets
tears in her eyes, horrified that Natasha put business over her own mother.
"Mom, I can explain," Natasha says as Eva rushes out of the room.
Natasha glares at Cassie. "You bitch, are you happy now?" "Actually,
I am," Cassie smiles back to her. "I've never been happier."
Twin Peaks General Hospital "Shane, how is Chris? How
was his surgery?" Albertinah asks the doctor, who is approaching her, Trenyce
and Andrew in the hallway of the hospital. They are waiting outside of Chris'
hospital room, where he is still asleep as they are waiting for him to awake post
his operation. "He's very lucky," Shane admits to Chris' family.
He was going pretty fast when he made impact with Adam's vehicle. He had some
internal bleeding in and around his shoulder blade, but we were able to stop that.
His shoulder is in pretty bad shape but with some physio, I expect him to make
a full recovery." "Oh thank God," Trenyce pulls Andrew
into a hug after hearing the news. "Can we see him?" "One
person at a time," Shane nods back to them. "I don't want to overwhelm
him. And, you should know that Simona Lopez was here earlier asking questions
about Chris' status." "Why was the detective asking questions
about Chris?" Andrew asks the doctor back. "I was asking questions
about Chris because he's going to be charged," Simona announces to the group
as she approaches them. "His blood alcohol limit was way over the designated
amount; he's going to be charged with reckless driving and impaired driving. Depending
on how Adam Black manages, he might get manslaughter." "What?"
Albertinah gasps back to her. "That means he could face jail time!"
"That's exactly what it means," Simona nods back to her, as Albertinah
uneasily looks over at Trenyce and Andrew, while Chris continues to sleep in his
hospital room. *** "The waiting is killing me,"
Robin says as she paces back and forth in the waiting room of the hospital. She,
Helen and Dawn are still waiting to get some kind of update about Adam's surgery.
She still can't believe that Adam was involved in a car accident after he learned
that is pregnant with Shane's baby; this all seems surreal to her. "Me
too," Helen admits to Robin. "But I am sure that we will hear something
soon." "None of this would have happened if you hadn't followed
us to Paris," Robin replies to her quickly. "You realize that everything
that has happened lately is a result of that, right?" "Oh please,"
Helen rolls her eyes back to her. "I am not to blame for everything that
happens in this town, Robin." "I'm so tired of you walking
around acting like you're a saint!" Robin yells back to her. "You're
not, Helen!" "Hey, that's enough!" Dawn yells at the women.
"My Dad is fighting for his life, the last thing I need is to hear you two
squabbling about nothing! Get it together!" "You're right,
I'm sorry baby," Helen hugs her daughter. "We have to stay strong for
Adam's sake." Before anyone can reply, Shane moves into the waiting
room. "Ladies," he announces to them. "Adam has survived surgery."
"Thank God," Robin breathes a sigh of relief. "How is he?"
"He hit his head pretty badly when his vehicle flipped over," Shane
reveals to them. "The good news is that he was wearing his seat belt; that
likely saved his life." "What's the bad news?" Dawn asks
him back. "He has a broken leg, arm and a fractured spine,"
Shane informs them. "But, we have gotten everything under control. When you
see him, you'll notice that he has a bandage around his head; that's just from
the large cut he got and because he hit his head pretty badly."
"But he will be okay?" Helen asks him. "He should be,
yes," Shane uneasily smiles back to them. "We will know more once he
wakes up." "Thank you Shane," Robin says as she rushes
up and hugs him, which causes Dawn and Helen to look at each other in surprise.
"Thank you for saving Adam's life." BarCode
Nicholas opens the door to the bar and quickly moves inside, desperate to find
the guy that Dawn told him was a Reese look alike. He was having a drink at the
bar the night before when a handsome stranger approached him; they started talking,
and admittedly flirted, with one another. Dawn arrived and told Nicholas the man
looked exactly like Andy's dead husband, Reese. Because it was so late, Nicholas
agreed to let the guy go home and go to bed but he demanded that he meet him there
in the morning to get answers. He sees the man sitting in a booth and
quickly walks over to him. "I'm surprised to see you," Nicholas tells
him as he sits across from him. "After I let you leave last night, I didn't
think I'd see you again." The man shrugs his shoulders. "I
told you that I'd come back and here I am." "Why do you look
like Reese Wilkins? What is going on here?" The guy takes a sip
of his coffee. "They say everyone has a doppelgänger out there,"
he uneasily chuckles back to him. "This isn't funny," Nicholas
replies to him sternly. "My boyfriend, Andy, has been tormented these last
few months by visions of his dead spouse, which you are a dead ringer for. Now,
I'm going to ask you again, what is going on here?" "You know
what? You're right," the man says as he stands up from the booth. "This
was a mistake. I shouldn't have come back here this morning." "You're
not going anywhere," Nicholas stands up and moves closer to him. "Not
until you tell me everything that I need to know. Now, start talking."
The Tower's; Floor One; Andy's Condo Andy lays on his sofa
with his eyes half opened and half closed. He hasn't fully fallen asleep yet as
he is scared that he will have yet another vision of Reese; he can't handle seeing
his dead husband anymore. After Reese passed away, it took Andy months to get
over his death and when he finally realized that Reese was at peace, Andy was
able to move on. The last few months, however, Andy has continued to see Reese
in various places and now he is wondering if Reese is actually resting peacefully.
Andy rolls over and grabs the half emptied bottle of whiskey and moves it
to his mouth. He takes another hearty swig and swallows it down. "Man,
I've miss you," he says looking at the bottle with a grin on his face. "Why'd
I ever stop drinking?" He leans up and takes another drink of the
whiskey. He stands up and looks around the apartment. "Hey Reese? Reese are
you here?" Andy slurs his words as he looks around the apartment. "I'm
in a real good space if you wanna talk now? You wanna talk baby?"
There is no movement in the apartment so Andy starts to laugh out loud. "Of
course now that I want you here, you're nowhere to be seen! Where are you baby?"
Andy moves into the kitchen and starts looking around. "Reese? Reese,
where are you?" He opens a drawer and freezes when he sees his
gun in the drawer. He slowly picks it up with his free hand and looks at the gun.
"Oh boy, look like I found," he says with a grin on his face. "Bang!"
