Twin Peaks Law Courts

"I plead guilty your honor," the words come out of Chris' mouth quickly and assertively. There is a sight gasp in the crowd as most people in attendance believed that Chris would try to fight the charges that were laid against him that resulted in the car accident between Chris and Adam. Chris looks back at the Judge, knowing that he had to take responsibility for his actions that caused the crash.

Josh immediately stands up next to his client and looks at the Judge. "Your honor, in light of my client's decision to plead guilty, we ask that the court show leniency on his sentencing as he is a first time offender and he has taken responsibility for what has occurred."

Franklin Ross looks back at Chris and then at Josh. "I was not expecting you to plead guilty," Franklin admits to him. "There is no point in hearing any witnesses if you are going to plead guilty. Are you sure that this is what you want to do, Mr. Michaels?"

"Yes your honor," Chris replies to him quickly. "I am sure."

"Very well," Franklin nods back to him. "I'm going to take a short recess to assess my next move. Court is adjourned for a short break."

As soon as the Judge has left the courtroom, Chris turns around to see Trenyce, Albertinah and Andrew standing behind him. He immediately hugs his sister.

"Don't worry," Albertinah whispers to him. "Everything will be fine. The Judge will go easy on you, I know he will."

"I hope you're right," Chris replies to her. "God, I hope you're right."

At the back of the courtroom, Abby watches the family interact together. She feels her blood boil when she sees Andrew put his hand on Albertinah's back. She can't believe that after months of growing closer with Andrew, the moment Albertinah came back into town, he went back to her.

"Why am I not enough for you, Andrew? What will it take for you to realize that I am the woman for you?" she whispers to herself.

Twin Peaks General Hospital

Laying in his bed, Brett taps his hand against his leg as the wheels in his head are turning. He is trying to think of a way to get out of the jam that he is in. In fact, the person in the bed is really Vinny; he survived the bombs that he set off in his mansion and his brother, Brett, died. He has told everyone, however, that he is Brett because he knows that if anyone learns that he is really Vinny, he will be arrested and charged for kidnapping and many other things.

"I had to agree to do that damn DNA test," he whispers to himself. "Because, if I had protested, everyone would have realized that I was lying. How am I going to get out of this?"

Suddenly, he comes up with an idea. "Of course," he smiles to himself. "My doctor friend that I called about Abby's baby, he can help me. He has too."

He reaches for the phone in his hospital room and dials a number. "Bryce, it's me," he says into the phone. "I need your help and I need it now," he says quickly. "I need you to alter a DNA test for me."

The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas & Donovan's Home

"I've been meaning to ask you something," Lukas admits to Donovan as he finishes getting ready for bed in their bedroom.

A shirtless Donovan, who is laying in bed reading, looks up at his husband. "You can ask me anything, Lukas. You know that. What's up?"

Lukas sits on the edge of the bed and looks back at Donovan. "I know that we have been planning for this baby and I am really excited about us becoming parents."

Donovan uneasily chuckles back to him. "But? What is that you're not saying?"

"Are you sure you're over everything that happened with Craig earlier this year?" Lukas asks him back and then holds his breath as he waits for a response from Donovan. He knows that the drama that happened with Craig was incredibly taxing on them and their marriage; the last thing Lukas wants to do is bring a child into their relationship if they are not on solid ground.

Donovan looks back at him in surprise. "Where is this coming from?" he asks him. "I thought that I've made it clear that I was okay with everything?"

"You've been wonderful," Lukas admits to him. "I guess since November is coming quickly, I just wanted to make sure that we are good. I don't want to bring a child into our drama."

"We are more than good," Donovan leans up and kisses him on the lips. "I love you and I have forgiven you for everything that has happened."

"Good," Lukas smiles back to him. "Because, I am excited for our family to expand."

"Yea, me too," Donovan kisses him again. "Why don't you get into bed with me? We should probably have as much fun as we can now since we might have less time once we have the baby."

Lukas laughs as he jumps next to his husband. "You don't have to ask me twice," he says kissing Donovan back.

Twin Peaks Executive Hotel

Kim steps off the elevator and slowly walks towards Will's hotel room. She recalls getting a text message from Will asking her to come see him at his hotel suite; with his affair to Eva public knowledge, Kim was not surprised to hear from Will as he is likely upset that someone leaked the information out.

She knocks on his door and he opens it quickly. "I came as soon as I could," she tells Will as she moves into his hotel room. "I'm assuming this has to do with the fact that your affair was announced to the world?"

Will looks back at her as he closes the door to his room. "Ding, ding, ding!" he goats her. "How the hell did this happen? Eva is furious with me because not only is our affair public knowledge but she also knows that you hired me to seduce her!"

"I heard," Kim replies to him. "Cassie told Eva the truth because she assumed that Eva already knew."

"She didn't know and she was livid with me," Will informs her. "I've never seen her so mad!"

"Secrets always have a way of coming out," Kim replies to him quickly. "I know that Eva is upset right now but this will pass, Will. It always does."

"That's easy for you to say," Will says back to her. "You're not the one stuck in this damn hotel room."

"What do you mean? Why are you stuck here?"

"Because," Will replies to her. "Dominick Robertson is a very powerful man. I'm worried about what he will do to me now that he knows I was sleeping with his wife."

"Don't worry about Dominick," Kim waves her hand back to him. "He won't hurt you, he knows that it will lead to more troubles for him down the road."

"I hope you're right because I'm going stir crazy in here," Will tells her. "I need to make this up to Eva, I never wanted her to get hurt by this."

"She found out that I paid you to seduce her which has caused her marriage to implode," Kim reminds him. "I'm pretty sure that she will be upset for a while."

"That wasn't part of the arrangement," Will firmly tells her. "I have to make her understand that I care about her. I have to make Eva realize that we are meant to be together now."

The Pampa Grill

Natasha sits at a table with a glass of red wine in front of her. She looks at the liquid as she thinks about the turmoil her life is in right now; first, Jacob has gotten himself engaged to Paige, which doesn't sit well with her at all. She wishes that Jacob would wait to be married and when he is ready, not marry Dominick's granddaughter.

And, of course, Eva is still furious with her for not saying anything to her about Kim's plan to get Roboto back on top of the corporate world. Natasha can understand why her mother is so upset with Kim's plan to hire Will to seduce her, but she wishes that she'd understand that she was against the idea from the get go. She has to make sure that her mother understands her point of view.

And, finally, she is feeling more upset than she thought she would at the fact that Tyler has ended their affair because Daisy has been revealed to be alive and well. She didn't realize how much she had grown to enjoy his company and their time together in the bedroom.

"You look a million miles away," a voice calls out to her causing Natasha to look up and see Cory standing over her table.

"I guess I was," she admits to him as Cory sits across from her. "It feels like I have a lot on my plate right now."

"I heard about Eva and Will," Cory admits to her. "I'm sorry that your Mom is going through that right now."

Natasha uneasily shrugs her shoulders. "She's furious with me," Natasha tells him. "But, I wish she'd realize her role in all of this. No one forced her to have an affair on her husband."

"She'll come around," Cory says back to her. "She just needs time to process everything that has happened."

"I hope you're right," Natasha tells him.

"What else is going on? You seem really sad tonight Nat, it's not like you."

Natasha sighs back to him. "You know me so well," she purses her lips together. "I had been seeing someone and it ended," she admits to him. "I guess I cared more than I thought I did."

"Ah," Cory nods back to her. "Breaking up is never easy but you'll bounce back, you always do. And, you'll find a guy that is deserving of you. Don't settle for anything less than perfection, it is what you deserve."

"Why did I ever let you go?" Natasha smiles as a tear falls down her cheek. "You always know the right thing to say to me."

"I'm always here for you Nat, remember that, okay?"

At another table, Tyler and Daisy sit across from each other as they finish their dinners.

"I had missed this place so much," Daisy admits to him as she wipes her mouth with her napkin. "Being locked in that cage for so long, I had forgotten what real food tastes like."

Tyler chuckles back to her. "I'm glad that it was as good as you remember it being," he tells her as he picks up his wine and takes a sip. "You look beautiful in this light."

"Thanks," Daisy blushes a little. "You look handsome, yourself." Daisy looks over Tyler's shoulder and happens to see Natasha and Cory sitting at their table. "Oh, there's Natasha and Cory, I should go say hello."

Tyler looks over his shoulder and sees the two of them sitting together. Immediately, he thinks about all the times he and Natasha spent together in his bed and he looks back at Daisy. "I have to tell you something," he quickly says back to her.

"What?" Daisy asks him immediately.

"Natasha and I," he looks back at his lover. "We … we were together while I thought you were dead."

"What do you mean, you were together?" she asks him feeling her heart start to race.

"I mean, we were friends with benefits," Tyler stuns Daisy, who covers her mouth in shock. "As soon as I found out you were still alive, I ended it but I had to tell you the truth. I couldn't keep it from you."

"I don't believe this," Daisy shakes her head back to him. "You were sleeping with another woman?"

"I thought you were dead," Tyler reminds her. "I didn't think I was ever going to see you again. Natasha and I, it just happened. Please, please tell me that you understand?"

Daisy uneasily looks back at him. "I don't know what to think right now," she admits to him. "I…I'm going to need some time to process this."

Before Tyler can respond to her, Daisy stands up and quickly walks away from the table. As she moves to the washroom, she leans up against a wall and tries to catch her breath as the news that Tyler was sleeping with Natasha has made her feel more confusion than ever before.

Twin Peaks General Hospital

Victoria slowly opens the door to "Brett's" hospital room and moves inside. Vinny looks up and smiles back to his former lover. He is thrilled that his doctor contact, Bryce, will help him alter the DNA test so everyone will continue to believe that he is Brett, not Vinny. Vinny, looking at Victoria, can't help but think that she is still stunning even though she was the cause of his downfall.

"Victoria, this is a surprise," he tells her.

"I don't know why I came back to see you so soon," she admits to him as she moves closer to his bed. "Something told me to come back."

"You were involved with Vinny," he reminds her. "Maybe you feel like you have unfinished business with me?"

"But you said you're Brett," Victoria arches her eyebrow back to him. "Or was that a lie too?"

"I was telling the truth," he lies to her. "And soon the DNA test will prove that."

"You're right," she nods back to him. "Once we get that test result back, we will know the truth and everything that we are dealing with."

Twin Peaks Law Courts

"All rise, the honorable Judge Franklin Ross resides," the bailiff announces to the crowd, who stands up while the Judge makes his way back to his chair.

"You may be seated," Franklin announces to the courtroom as everyone sits back down.

Chris quickly turns and looks at Trenyce, Albertinah and Andrew before he faces the Judge again. He feels his heart racing inside his chest at the idea of what is about to happen to him; he knows that he will get punished in some capacity, he just hopes that by pleading guilty, he will be able to avoid serious jail time.

"Mr. Michaels," the Judge starts to say to everyone. "You have pleaded guilty to your charges, which I find commendable since you are taking responsibility for your actions and the car accident that occurred," he continues as Chris nods back to him in agreement. "But, the fact of the matter is, you got behind the wheel of an automobile while you were under the influence of alcohol; you caused a car accident that could have left you and Adam Black dead. You got very lucky … this time."

Chris looks over at Josh with concern on his face. Josh tries to nod back to him in support but Chris is suddenly feeling nervous about what is going to happen to him.

"I appreciate that this is your first offence," the Judge continues to say. "But, I need to make an example to the citizens of Twin Peaks that drunk driving is not acceptable. As a result, I am sentencing you to 18 months in the county jail. Court is adjourned!" he announces as he smashes his mallet down.

Chris stands up and looks back at his family in shock. "18 months?" he shakes his head in disbelief. "I'm going to spend 18 months in jail?"

"It will go by so quickly," Trenyce replies to him. "And we can come visit you often. Don't worry, Chris. This isn't the end of the world."

A short time later, Andrew leaves the court room after everyone has departed. He wanted to wait to see Chris off before he left. He checks his phone and sees a message from Albertinah telling him that she and Trenyce are going to the Pampa Grill and he should join them. He puts his phone away and starts to move to the exit. As he walks, he sees Abby standing outside the courthouse.

"Abby, what are you still doing here?" he asks her as he moves outside and up to Abby.

"I'm just waiting for my Uber to arrive," she replies to him. "I'm going home now. What are you doing? Or do I even have to ask?"

"What does that mean?"

"You know damn well what it means!" Abby replies to him quickly. "You're going to be with her, aren't you? Your lover!"

Andrew shakes his head back to her. "Abby, I know that you're upset that Albertinah is back but you have to know that I didn't plan any of this, okay? And I certainly didn't mean to hurt you."

Abby breaks out into laughter as she moves away from him. "That's funny Andrew because it seems like that's the one thing you always do: hurt me."

"It's not like we were ever together or anything," Andrew defends himself. "You've always thought that we were a couple when we have never been."

Abby looks back at him in surprise as she feels her eyes swell with water. "Damn you," she whispers back to him. She turns around to leave when she hears her car arrive.

"Abby, wait, don't leave like this," Andrew calls out.

Abby races down the stairs of the court house quickly. She doesn't see a plastic bag on the ground; her foot gets caught in it and she soon loses her balance! She falls on the stairs and rolls to the bottom of the concrete staircase.

"Abby!" Andrew yells out in horror at the sight in front of him. "Abby!"
