Tyler's words come out of his mouth faster than he realizes but once
he has said them he can't take them back. "I think Cassie stole the money
from both Robertson Enterprises and Roboto," he tells his father and Kim
as they stand in Dominick's office together. Kim had arrived to accuse Dominick
of stealing money from Roboto as a way to get back at her for hiring Will to seduce
Eva; Dominick had no idea what she was going on about, and that's when Tyler connected
the dots that Cassie is the common thread between the two of them. "What?"
a flabbergasted Kim responds to him as she looks away from Dominick and at Tyler.
"Why the hell would Cassie steal from Roboto and Robertson Enterprises? That
makes no sense." Tyler uneasily looks back over at Dominick. "Okay,
Dad," he looks at his father with intent. "You have never explained
how Robertson Enterprises was actually able to beat Roboto to the shelves with
the serum, but it was Cassie, wasn't it? Cassie has been playing both sides as
one of her sick and twisted games! That would explain how she was able to hack
into both companies accounting software. That's the only logical explanation."
"Is that true Dominick?" Kim puts her hand on her hip. "Did
Cassie give you the details of our serum? Is that how you were able to beat us
to the shelves?" Dominick sighs heavily back to them. "Yes,
it's true," he shakes his head back to them. "Cassie did give me the
details. I just never thought that she would steal from me, or Roboto. If this
is true, we have to stop her. She can't get away with this." Kim
shakes her head back to him in horror. "How could I have been so stupid to
trust that woman? This actually makes a lot of sense," Kim continues to say.
"She probably wanted some sick revenge on Natasha since they have such a
horrible past together." "And my company's capital was just
the cherry on the top," Dominick grits his teeth together. "We have
to find that woman and make her pay! She can't get away with this."
"Okay," Felicia says as she moves into the office, having heard the
tail end of Dominick's last sentence. "What has Eva done this time? And why
does she have to pay?" One Day House Cory shuffles
around some of the papers on his desk in his relatively small office at the One
Day House. With Nicholas taking some personal days due to the events that were
going on with Andy and Melissa, Cory is feeling the busyness of the center as
he is running it on his own. He, however, is enjoying the work as it is giving
him purpose and a sense of direction again, which he was longing since he was
unemployed for a while. "I hope this is a good time," a voice
calls out at the doorway of his office. Cory looks up and sees Leah standing in
the door frame holding some take out bags from the Pampa Grill. "I figured
you were busy and thought I'd bring dinner to you." Cory chuckles
back to her. "Thanks, I guess I didn't even realize how late it had become."
"And, you have to eat or you won't be good to Nicholas or the One Day
House." "That is true," Cory tells her. "Will you
eat with me?" "Of course, I'd love that," she tells him
as she moves into his office and puts the bags on his desk. "How are things
going, anyways?" "Busy with Nicholas being away but really
good. I'm enjoying this work so much," he admits to his lover. "I guess
I hadn't realized how much I actually needed this in my life." "I
am so glad to hear that," Leah tells him as she pulls out some of the food
from the bags and passes him one. "I know you were feeling like you needed
a purpose, and if this is it, then that's awesome." Cory takes a
bite of the pasta that Leah got him and looks back at her. "It is more than
just this new job, I hope you know that, Leah." Leah purses her
lips back to him. "What else could it be?" "After Natasha
and I divorced, I was in a really low place. This job is only part of what has
me feeling re-energized about life." Leah chuckles back to him.
"I'm guessing something else is making you feel good again?"
"I'm looking at her," he winks back to her. "Seriously, I couldn't
have made it through these last few months without you. You've come to mean a
great deal to me, Leah." "Good, because I'm not planning on
going anywhere," she smiles as she leans over and gives him a quick kiss
on his lips. The Black House; Adam, Helen & Dawn's Home
"I have to admit something to you," Helen looks over at Adam as
they sit next to each other on the sofa in the living room of their house as they
watch the latest episode of 'The Crown' on Netflix. Adam manages to steer
his eyes away from the screen and looks back at the woman he still believes is
his wife as a result of his memory loss that he obtained from the car accident
that he was in with Chris. "It sounds serious," he tells her as they
lock eyes. "It's not that serious," she admits to him. "It's
just that, I've been thinking about the kiss we shared at dinner the other night."
Adam smirks back to her. "Oh, you have, have you?" "It's
been on my mind," Helen nods back to him. "I was so scared when you
were in the hospital, Adam. I really thought that we were going to lose you."
"Hey," Adam looks back at her as she gets tears in her eyes. "You
didn't lose me, I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere." "I
know, it was just a lot for all of us to handle, not just me," Helen tells
him. "I still love you, Adam. I always have." "And I love
you," he replies to her as he leans in and kisses her on the lips. The kiss
quickly turns more passionate before he pulls back and looks into her eyes.
"Make love to me," Helen blurts out before she can stop herself.
She knows that she is only pretending to be Adam's wife since he is engaged to
Robin, but she has completely let herself get caught up in the moment with the
man she loves. Adam nods back to her. "I want that, more than anything
else in the world," he tells her. "I just
I don't think I can yet.
With the medications I'm on, it's
impacting me." Helen kisses
him on the lips. "I guess we have plenty of time for that," she replies
to him. "Just know that as soon as you're ready, I will be waiting."
Adam chuckles back to her. "That sounds good to me." The
Pampa Grill Shelley moves into the restaurant looking to have a beer
before she heads home for the night. She just came from seeing Cheresa, who told
her that she was going to try to make things right between Shelley and Dawn. Shelley
is still reeling from how upset Dawn was by learning that she slept with Cheresa
while they were on their break; Dawn was so livid that she told Shelley that she
didn't want to be friends anymore. Just as Shelley is about to move to the bar,
she happens to see Dawn sitting at a table by herself. Without using her better
judgement, Shelley finds herself moving towards her former lover. "I
know I'm the last person you want to see," Shelley announces to Dawn, who
looks up from her glass of white wine. "But, I need you to hear me out."
Dawn doesn't reply as Shelley sits across from her. "I know you're livid
with me and Cheresa, and I can understand why," Shelley tells her. "But,
you have to know how much you mean to me, Dawn. I never meant to hurt you, heck
Cheresa didn't mean to hurt you. Sometimes things happen in life that suck, and
this is one of them." "I bet it didn't suck while you were
two were in your bedroom," Dawn replies to her coldly. "Look, Shelley,
I get that you're trying to make this up to me, but seeing you right now is actually
making it worse. The best thing you can do for me is to leave me alone. I need
to be the one to figure this out; I need to be the one to look inside myself and
see if I can trust you or Cheresa ever again." Shelley uneasily
nods back to her. "Fine," she stands up from her chair. "But, I'll
tell you this Dawn: no one has been there more for you the last couple of years
than Cheresa and I. We were the ones you came running too after your attack at
the bible camp; we were the ones who held your hand while you were deciding to
keep your child or not; we were the ones who were there for you when you lost
your child; we were the ones who supported you when you thought your mother was
dead and then you lost your Grandma. One night, one mistake shouldn't erase all
of that. And if it does, then you're right, that's all on you."
Dawn takes another long sip of her wine as Shelley scurries away from her table.
As Dawn swallows the liquid down, she feels more tears swelling in her eyes. "What
am I going to do?" she whispers to herself. The County Jail
Cheresa sits in the waiting room of the county jail as she waits for Chris
to arrive as she is here to see her father for the first time since he was sentenced
to 18 months in jail for impaired driving that resulted in the car accident with
Adam. Cheresa still can't believe that her father got behind the wheel of a car
while he was impaired butr she is glad that he seemingly took responsibility for
his actions. "Cheresa," Chris says as he announces as he moves
into the waiting room. "This is a surprise. I wasn't expecting to see you."
Cheresa stands up to greet her father. She goes to give him a hug but the
guard interjects. "No touching," he tells the two of them, so Cheresa
returns to her seat. "I wanted to come see how you are doing,"
she admits to him. "Are you getting settled okay?" Chris uneasily
chuckles back to her. "I'm not sure settled is the right word," he tells
her. "I'm adjusting to how my life is going to look for the next year or
so. I am still just so glad that no one was seriously hurt by my actions."
"You did the right thing by pleading guilty Chris," Cheresa tells
him. "You took responsibility for your mistakes, that's very commendable."
"Thanks, it was something I had to do. How are things with you?"
Cheresa sighs back to him as she thinks about the mess she has made with
Shelley and Dawn. "Things are complicated right now," she says back
to him. "I made a horrible mistake and now I don't think Dawn will ever forgive
me." "You and Dawn, you care for one another, right?"
Chris asks her as she nods back to him. "Then, give her time and she will
come around. You would be surprised at how time can heal wounds. Look at Trenyce
and I; she was furious with me for filing that restraining order against Dawn,
and then I was crushed by her affair with Brad. But, before I came here, she agreed
to be my wife. If you care about someone and they care about you, anything is
possible." Cheresa smiles back to him. "Thanks Chris,"
she says back to him. "That's exactly what I needed to hear."
The Lawson Estate; Greg, Brooke, Brad, Abby & Cheresa's Home
"Have I told you how glad I am that you're home?" Abby asks her mother
as she sits on the sofa in the living room of their lavish estate. Abby looks
at Brooke, who is pouring her a cup of water at the bar and smiles at the sight.
She had missed Brooke while she was out of town; now that she is so close to giving
birth to her child, she is happy that her mother is back to support her.
"You've mentioned it once or twice," Brooke purses her lips together
as she moves closer to her daughter and passes her the water. "I couldn't
stay away once I got the message from your father that you had that fall down
the stairs. I am just so glad that you and that baby are okay."
"I was pretty scared myself," Abby replies to her quickly. "The
good news is that the accident made me realize that I want my baby."
"Are you sure that you don't want to go through with the adoption?"
Brooke asks her as she looks back with intent. "You and Andrew had made a
lot of plans that you're changing." "I know," Abby says
back to her. "And, I am sure. Leading up to my fall, I was starting to feel
more of a connection with the child, and I told Andrew that. He was already getting
worried that I was changing my mind." "How has he taken your
change of heart?" "He's not happy with me," Abby tells
her. "But you know, I don't care. I'm tired of putting Andrew's needs above
my own. I'm going to have this baby and I'm going to have it with or without Andrew's
support." "You won't be alone," Brooke grabs her daughter's
hand. "You will have your father's and mine support, Abby. If you want your
child, then you will have it." "That's what I want," Abby
nods back to her. "More than anything else in the world." Twin
Peaks General Hospital Andrew slowly walks up to the hospital room
door and pauses for a moment. He hasn't seen his Uncle Brett in years, but after
learning that Vinny died in the explosion at the Victors mansion and that he was
holding both Brett and Daisy hostage, Andrew thought he should come to get to
know his Uncle. Besides, he feels like he could use the support right now with
Abby changing her mind about giving their baby up for adoption. He opens the door
and sees his Uncle laying in his bed. "Andrew," Vinny's eyes
sparkle at the sight of his nephew. "I'm so glad that you came to see me."
"How did you know who I am?" Andrew asks him, still thinking the
man in the bed is Brett and not Vinny. "We've never met." Vinny
gulps realizing that he's right; Brett and Andrew never did meet. "I've seen
pictures," he quickly tells him, covering with a lie. "Vinny spoke about
you all the time." "I still can't believe he's gone,"
Andrew admits to him. "I know what he did to you and Daisy
was horrific but he was always kind and caring to me." "Vinny
loved you very much," he tells Andrew. "He told me that a lot."
"Thanks for saying that," Andrew says back to him. "How are
you doing? You'll be okay?" "I'll be fine," Vinny replies
to him. "Now that the DNA test came back to prove that I am Brett, I'll get
to go home tomorrow. I'm not sure where I'll go, exactly." "I'd
assume the Victors mansion here in town, the one where Vinny lived when he was
married to Daisy," Andrew says back to him. "The mansion was in your
family for years, with Vinny dying, it would make sense that you could take it
over." "That's a great idea, thanks for that suggestion."
"Sure." "You seem like something is troubling you,"
Vinny notes back to him. "I know we just met, but if you want to talk, we
are family." "Thanks," Andrew sits on the sit of his bed
and then looks at his uncle. "The thing is, I got this girl pregnant but
I've never had feelings for her. She thought the baby would bring us closer, and
it certainly did, but I don't feel any romantic feelings for her."
"I see." "We had discussed giving the baby up for adoption,"
Andrew continues to tell Vinny. "But she had a recent accident and as a result,
she doesn't want to give the baby up anymore." "But you still
want her too?" "Yea," Andrew admits to him. "Only
because I don't feel like I'm ready to be a father. And, I guess deep down, I
secretly don't want a connection to Abby for the rest of my life."
"That's a tough position to be in," Vinny tells him, as the wheels in
his head immediately start turning. "I think, to save face, you should support
this Abby in whatever she wants to do. It is her body, after all. If she wants
the child, then you should support her. You can dislike it all you want behind
closed doors but put on a brave face around her. You think you can do that?"
"I guess I'm going to have too," Andrew replies to him. "I
don't want to come across like a jerk and if I don't pretend to be okay with her
choice, that's exactly what I'm going to be." "You'll be fine,"
Vinny encourages him. "And, come talk to me whenever, I think we could be
close, Andrew. I'd like that very much." "Me too Uncle Brett,"
Andrew smiles back to him. Robertson Enterprises; The Studio
"I'm almost done for the night," Max calls out to Jacob, as he
puts away some of the final cameras that are set up from a photoshoot they ran
earlier in the day. Max looks over at his rival and thinks that Jacob looks a
million times better today than he did the previous day; he still wonders what
happened to Jacob that he looked so rough but he doesn't really care. He just
hopes that Cassie's plan to break up Jacob and Paige works because he can't allow
them to get married. He refuses to accept that. "Good, I'm almost
done too," Jacob replies to him as he looks up from some of the paper work
he has in front of him. "We can lock up together, I think Paige is upstairs
with accounting." "Oh," Max says back to him. "Perfect,
I'll wait here for her because I'd like to wish her a goodnight."
"That's not necessary," Jacob tells him quickly. "You don't have
to say goodnight to my fiancé." "I don't have too,"
Max quips. "But I want too and I will." "Damnit Max enough
of this bullshit!" Jacob yells at him as he drops his pen and rushes over
to Max. "You can stop making plays for Paige. I'm not going to tolerate it,
okay?" Max grins back to him, thrilled that he has gotten under
Jacob's skin. "Carefully Jakey boy," he continues to goat him. "You're
going to do something you'll regret." "Getting you off my back
is not something I will regret, just the opposite, actually," Jacob grits
his teeth together. "What the hell is going on in here?" Paige
asks as she opens the door to the studio and sees Jacob in Max's face. "Jacob,
were you going to hit him?" "He was goating me, again,"
Jacob turns to face his fiancé. "I know I shouldn't let him get to
me but
" "No but's," Paige snaps at him. "You
need to get yourself under control. And Max, grow up. Stop trying to cause problems
where there aren't any." "Sorry," Max puts his hands up.
"All I said is that I wanted to say goodnight to you. And, I just did, so
I'll leave." "Good night," Paige replies to him as Max
leaves. "Oh great, so you take his side?" Jacob groans back
to her. "This isn't about taking sides," Paige snaps at him.
"You continue to let him get to you despite me telling you to let it go."
"Why are you so mad at me?" "Because!" Paige
shrieks at him. "Because, you are making things worse.!" "I'm
sorry, I didn't mean too," Jacob moves up to her. "I won't let it happen
again, I promise." "Don't make promises you can't keep,"
she replies to him quickly. "And, is there anything else you want to tell
me?" "No?" Jacob says confused. "What else would
I have to tell you?" "Did you sleep with Cassie Nova?"
Paige asks him. "Did you cheat on me?" ***
Back in Dominick's office, Felicia slowly sits down as she just heard the full
story about how Tyler, Kim and Dominick now believe that Cassie has stolen money
from both Robertson Enterprises and Roboto to get back at both companies as she
has past vendettas with them both. Felicia can't believe that Dominick wasn't
honest with her about the fact that he was in cahoots with Cassie. "I
can't believe this," Felicia looks over at Dominick. "I asked you so
many times if you were involved with Cassie, and you told me no. You lied to me,
Dominick!" "I'm sorry about that," Dominick replies to
her quickly. "I had to keep it quiet so no one would find out that she was
giving me the formula for the serum that Roboto was creating. It all had to be
top secret so we wouldn't get caught." "And now," Kim
looks back at him. "Both companies are at risk of being in a financial crisis
because you let Cassie Nova in!" "I didn't hire her at Roboto,"
Dominick defends himself to her. "That is all on you, Robbie and Natasha." "Okay,
okay," Tyler waves his hands in the air. "Enough fighting! We have to
put our heads together," he tells everyone. "We have to think of a way
to get Cassie to give us the money back." "And how do you propose
we do that?" Kim asks him back, as Tyler shrugs his shoulders and then looks
over at Dominick. "See, we have no idea what we are going to do."
"Maybe not right now, but we will think of something," Dominick
tells her. "We have no other options here. I won't let Cassie Nova win!"
Roboto Cassie slowly opens the door to the main office at
Roboto and moves inside where she sees Natasha sitting behind the desk. She looks
at Natasha, who puts her finger up to indicate she is still on the phone. Cassie
assumes that she is talking to someone about the missing Roboto money.
"Any updates?" Cassie asks her as Natasha hangs up the phone, having
finished her conversation. "None," Natasha replies to her,
sounding annoyed. She moves to the bar and pours herself a brandy. "I just
don't understand how over 5 million dollars goes missing and no one notices until
it's too late." "It might be time to get some new accountants
in the accounting department," Cassie tells her. "Seriously, if there's
anything I can do to help, you know that I'm here." Natasha turns
and looks at her. "You mean that, don't you?" "Of course
I do," Cassie tells her. "You and I haven't always gotten along, Natasha,
but I have put my blood, sweat and tears into this company the last year. I want
it to succeed just like you and the rest of your family." "I
actually appreciate that Cassie," Natasha says back to her. "Who would
have thought? You and I, working closely together?" Cassie chuckles
back to her as she sends her a wink. "Maybe hell has frozen over?"
