Meggan, Lukas & Donovan's Home "I had forgotten how adorable
our son is when it's time to put him to bed," Jeff notes back to Meggan as
they walk into the living room of her estate. They just finished putting Logan
to bed for the night, which is the first time they've done this together in months.
It is one of the many things he has been enjoying since he and Meggan reconnected
recently. "He was well behaved tonight," Meggan chuckles back
to him. "Sometimes he puts up such a big fuss." "I guess
it was his father's touch," Jeff winks back to her. "I've missed this."
Meggan looks into his eyes as he wraps his arms around her waist. "Yea,
I've missed it too. It's nice being a family with Logan, isn't it?"
"Very much so," Jeff nods back to her. "It has made me realize
how foolish I was for letting this slip away for so long." "Hey,"
Meggan stops him. "Remember what we said? We are moving forward with a fresh
start, right? Whatever happened in the past, stays in the past."
Jeff smiles and kisses her on the lips. "You're right," he says as he
kisses her again. "I have an idea on how we can spend the rest of the night."
"You do?" she purrs back to him. He lifts her into his
arms and then kisses her again. "Yea, I definitely do." The
Sugarbowl "Have you heard from Cheresa since Chris was sentenced?"
Brad asks Trenyce as they sit across from each other in the back booth of the
coffeehouse together. He knows that Treynce has had a difficult time with Chris
getting sentenced to 18 months in jail; she even ensured he knew that their affair
was not going to continue. He just wonders how Cheresa is feeling about her father
being in jail. "I saw her when I told her about the sentencing,"
Trenyce replies to her as she takse as sip of her green tea. "She was stunned
and then found out about Abby's fall." "Abby is fine now and
at home," Brad informs Trenyce. "So, if you want to reach out to her,
you could try." "Thanks for keeping me updated on my daughter,"
Trenyce smiles back to him. "After our last conversation, I wasn't sure if
we could remain friends." Brad
chuckles back to her. "Nah," he tells her. "I'm a big boy. I get
that you don't want to sleep with me because you committed yourself to Chris.
But, I meant what I said
18 months is a long time, if you get lonely."
Trenyce blushes back to him. "I know," she giggles. "And I'm
flattered. You know that I find you attractive, Brad. But I can't cross that line.
It wouldn't be fair." "It's not fair to make you wait 18 months
before you're with a man again either," Brad tells her. "What
is going on here?" a concerned Cheresa asks as she walked into the coffeehouse
and saw her mother and brother talking at the booth. She hopes that Trenyce hasn't
rekindled her affair with Brad now that Chris is in jail. "Trenyce, what
are you doing with Brad?" "Cheresa hi," Trenyce replies
to her daughter. "We were just talking, catching up. That's all? Why? What's
gotten you so worked up?" Cheresa shakes her head back to her. "I
saw Chris earlier and it was a really nice visit," she reveals to her mother.
"I just don't want him getting hurt by you sleeping with Brad while he's
away. Tell me that's not happening." "Hey now," Brad looks
at his sister. "You can't go around talking to people that way, especially
your mother." "Don't tell me what to do Brad," Cheresa
snaps at him. "You don't know half of what I've been through with Chris and
Trenyce." "Nothing is going on between us," Trenyce tells
Cheresa. "And, that's the truth." "Good," Cheresa
replies to her quickly. "Let's keep it that way." ***
At the window bar, Max and Adam sit side by side as they are catching up
with one another. Max hasn't seen much of his Dad since he was released from the
hospital after the car accident so he wanted to take him out and see how he was
coping. "You have to tell me if it's getting past your bedtime,"
Max tells his father before he takes a sip of his latte. "I know you're still
recovering." Adam chuckles back to Max. "I'm fine," Adam
replies to him quickly. "Everyone has to stop treating me like I'm going
to fall apart if I don't get enough rest." "Take it as a sign
that we were all worried about you," Max says back to him. "Seriously
though, everything is good?" "The doctors tell me that I am
progressing just fine," Adam tells him. "Once the swelling on my head
goes down, I'll be good as new." "Thank God for that,"
he tells his father. "I'm glad that we will be able to move on from this
soon." "You and I both," Adam chuckles. "I am sorry
that I worried my family." "It wasn't your fault, it was Chris
that was drunk driving. I'm just glad that he pleaded guilty." "He
is certainly paying for his actions," Adam tells him. The words leave Adam's
mouth and suddenly his closes his eyes as he has a flash. In the memory, his vision
is blurry but Adam can see himself talking to a woman, whom he can't make out,
and they are talking about Max. "Max will pay for his actions,"
Adam tells the woman he still can't make out in his vision. "He won't get
away with hurting me!" The flash ends and Adam opens his eyes and
looks over at Max. "Dad?" Max asks his father. "Are you okay?"
Adam uneasily nods back to him. "I'm fine," he tells him. "I
must have zoned out for a minute. Sorry, what were you saying?" he asks his
son as he starts to wonder what his flash was all about. One Day House
"I know it's late, so we appreciate you seeing us tonight," Lukas
tells his social worker, Kelli Watson, as they sit in an office of the One Day
House. Together with Donovan, Lukas is there hoping to get an update or confirmation
that their pending adoption is still intact. The last thing they want is for anything
to come between them and their baby, which they should be receiving in November.
"Of course," Kelli replies to them. "We know that it can be
a nerve racking time for the expectant parents." "Especially
since we haven't signed any paper work," Donovan informs her. "It has
left us feeling nervous. Is there a reason why the paper work hasn't been signed
yet?" "It is common that the birth parents don't sign anything
until after the delivery of the child," the social worker tells them. "So,
you won't have anything to sign until the baby is here." "But,
that means that the parents, the mother in particular, could still change her
mind?" Donovan asks as concern is growing about the adoption process.
"It could happen," Kelly replies to him. "But if they haven't
changed their mind this far along in the process, it is extremely unlikely that
they will. Try not to worry, okay? You will have a child in a couple of weeks.
Prepare for that." "We have prepared," Lukas grabs Donovan's
hadn and squeezes it. "We just don't want anything to go wrong."
The Lawson Estate; Greg, Brooke, Brad, Abby & Cheresa's Home
"I'm so glad that you agreed to let Mom stay here again," Abby
tells her father as she pours herself a cup of water from the bar in their living
room. Abby couldn't be happier that Brooke is back in Twin Peaks and living in
the house that she was raised in. Considering that she is going to give birth
in a couple of weeks, she is thrilled that Brooke is back. "I thought
it was the right thing to do," Greg replies to her as he takes a sip of his
scotch. "I believe your mother when she said she went away to get a fresh
start. Her trial did take a lot out of her." "And now we are
all back together under one roof," Abby smiles to him. "Soon, we'll
have the newest member of the family living with us too," she puts her hand
on her stomach. "You have still decided to keep the child?"
Greg asks his daughter. "I
want to keep my baby, yes," Abby informs him. "Andrew isn't happy about
it, but I don't care. I'm going to have my baby." "We support
you Abby," Greg smiles back to her. "Your mother and I, Brad and Cheresa,
we will all be here for you and the baby." "I know," Abby
gets tears in her eyes. "Together the Lawson's will raise the baby. I can't
wait to meet him or her!" Twin Peaks General Hospital
Vinny lays in the hospital bed tossing and turning. He finally sits up and
turns on the light on the side of the bed. He wishes that he was discharged but
he knows that he has to wait for the morning. He can't stop thinking about Andrew's
visit with him earlier in the evening when he told him that Abby was going to
keep her unborn child, despite having made plans to give it up for adoption. Andrew's
concern is that he doesn't feel like he is ready to be a father yet and this is
throwing him for a loop. "Good thing I got Bryce involved in this
already," Vinny whispers to himself as he picks up the phone in his hospital
room and he dials a number. "Bryce, it's me, Vinny," he says
into the phone. "Remember when I called you a few weeks ago and told you
about my nephew and the girl he got pregnant?" "Yes, Abby Lawson,
perfect, good memory," Vinny smiles into the phone. "Well, the plan
I told you about, it's a go. Green light." He pauses while he waits
for Bryce to respond to him. "Look, I'm getting out of the hospital tomorrow
and we can meet to discuss all the details. But I need you to be prepared to handle
this, I won't let my nephew down, understand? Perfect, chat soon."
He hangs up the phone and smiles to himself. "Don't worry Andrew," he
tells him. "I got you covered." The Pampa Grill
Brooke leaves the bar with her takeout bags and walks towards the front door
of the restaurant. She was at home with Abby earlier and her pregnant daughter
got a craving for chicken fingers, so Brooke came to the restaurant to get an
order for her. As she moves to the door, Robbie happens to move inside the restaurant
and the two former lovers come face to face. "Brooke," Robbie
gasps at the sight of her. "You're back? I didn't know you were in town?"
Brooke purses her lips together. "My daughter had an accident and I
couldn't stay away," she tells him. "You're looking good, Robbie. I
hope things are well?" "Things are
" he begins to
tell her as he thinks about the drama at Roboto currently. "Interesting.
Never a dull moment it seems." Brooke chuckles back to him. "That
seems like a common theme around here," she says back to him. "I should
get these chicken fingers back to Abby before they get cold, but it was really
nice to see you, Robbie." "Likewise Brooke," Robbie smiles
back to her. "Take care of yourself, okay?" "You too."
*** Eva takes a sip of her red wine as she sits alone at
a table at the bar of the restaurant. She needed to come and get a drink after
her last encounter with Dominick. She can't believe that he accused her of stealing
money from Robertson Enterprises because he thought that she was looking to ensure
she was taken care of if they end up divorcing because of her affair with Will.
"Have we really drifted that far apart that he'd think I'd steal money
from him?" she asks herself as she takes another sip of her wine. "What
have we become, Dominick?" "Hey," a voice calls out at
her table. Eva looks up and sees Will, who has a huge bruise on his face. "I'm
glad I ran into you." "Will? What the hell happened to your
face?" Eva asks him, suddenly realizing that he must have ran into Dominick.
"Or do I have even have to ask?" "I saw Dominick,"
he reveals to her. "It looks worse than it is, don't worry."
"I'm not worried," Eva snaps back to him. "When I saw you at your
hotel, I told you that I never wanted to see you again, Will. That hasn't changed."
Will sits across from her and tries to look into her eyes. "Eva, please,"
he pleads with her. "I'm begging you to just listen to me and what I have
to say." "There is nothing left to say," Eva whispers
back to him. "You let Kim Calimo pay you to seduce me, Will! There is no
going back from that, you have to understand that." "Did I
take money from Kim?" Will asks her back. "Yes, I did. But, you know
what? Something happened along the way of us spending time together and that is
that I actually developed feelings for you again Eva. I care about you, if you
just give me the chance, I can prove that." Eva shakes her head
back to him. "No," she looks him in the eyes. "Whatever we had,
Will, it's over. You have to accept that." The Calimo Mansion
"Kim?" Robbie calls out as he opens the front door of the mansion
and moves inside. "Natasha? I brought some take out from the Pampa Grill,"
he tells his family as he moves into the living room and sees Natasha pouring
two glasses of wine. "I'm pouring," she tells her brother.
"Do you want a glass?" "After the day we've had, I think
we all deserve it," Robbie replies to her as he puts the food down on the
table. He makes eye contact with Kim while Natasha isn't looking and gives her
a wink. Kim smiles back to him. "I'm glad you're both here,"
Kim tells them. "I have some news and you're going to want to hear this."
Natasha moves over and passes them each a glass of red wine. "God, tell
me it's good news," she groans. "I don't think I can handle any more
bad news." "Depends how you look at it," Kim cryptically
says to her family. "I went to confront Dominick over my theory for stealing
our money to get back at me for hiring Will to seduce Eva." "And?
What did he say?" Natasha asks her back. "Don't tell me that
he confessed? Robbie asks next. "No, he didn't," Kim tells
them. "But, Tyler was there and he got Dominick to confess to something else."
"What?" Natasha impatiently asks her. "Cassie was
the one who gave Dominick the information about the serum," Kim tells her
them as they gasp out in shock. "So, Tyler realized that Cassie is the common
thread between the companies and easily could have been the one who stole the
money." "That bitch!" Natasha fumes back to Kim. "I
just saw her at the office and she was telling me that she would do anything she
can to help us get the money back! All the time, she has been playing us?"
"It certainly seems that way," Kim nods back to her. "Unbelievable,"
Robbie sighs back to them. "If this is true
" "If?
If this is true?" Natasha gasps back to him. "Robbie, this is classic
Cassie Nova! Of course it was her!" "What I was going to say
was," Robbie looks back at her. "We have to get proof. We have to find
some evidence so we can nail this bitch once and for all." "So
the question is," Kim uneasily looks back at them. "How are we going
to get proof that Cassie did this to Roboto and Robertson Enterprises?"
