Theme song: "Norman f**king Rockwell" Lana Del Rey Previously
on One Day at a Time - Cheresa came up with an idea on how to get Dawn
to forgive her and Shelley for their affair. When Cheresa arrived at Shelley's,
she found her dead with rose petals over top of her body - Vinny got his friend,
Bryce, to tamper the DNA tests to show that he is "Brett" so he could
masquerade as his twin. He also told the doctor he had plans for Abby's child
- Cassie left town after she realized that Robertson Enterprises & Roboto
clued into the fact that she stole money from the companies. She went to Banff,
Canada, after learning that Jacob and Paige were going there to elope - Kim
told Robbie & Greg she wanted to explore her feelings for her former step
son The Tower's; Floor Three; Shelley's Condo Cheresa
holds herself in the corner of the living room of Shelley's condo while Simona
Lopez and some other police detectives are looking around the condo. Cheresa almost
doesn't know what has happened; she started the day determined to find a way to
make the situation between herself, Shelley and Dawn better as she knows that
Dawn has been upset with the fact that Shelley and Cheresa slept together. After
coming up with an idea to remind Dawn of everything that they have been through
together, she raced to tell Shelley. When she arrived at Shelley's, however, the
door was ajar and when Cheresa went inside, it appeared that a fight had broken
out and then she saw Shelley's dead body covered in blood and rose petals. Everything
has become a blur to Cheresa but she was able to call Dawn and the police.
"Cheresa?" Dawn asks as she moves inside the condo. She got a text
from Cheresa asking her to come to Shelley's immediately. "What happened?
Are you okay?" Cheresa lets the tears flow from her eyes as she
rushes up to Dawn and pulls her into an embrace. "Thank God you're here,"
Cheresa cries into her shoulder. "Shelley
she's dead."
"What?" Dawn gasps back to her as they exit their embrace. "How
did this happen? Why did this happen? I
I don't believe it."
"I don't know," Cheresa continues to cry. "I came here today hoping
to talk to Shelley about making things right between three of us again and when
I got here, she was gone
there was so much blood." "I
am so sorry that you saw that," Dawn replies still in shock. "Who would
want to hurt Shelley? Who would do this?" "That's exactly what
I want to know," Simona Lopez says as she approaches the two young women.
"I'm going to ask you some questions because we are treating this as a homicide."
The Victors Mansion Vinny walks back into the living room
of his mansion and moves to the bar to pour two bourbon's. He turns around and
passes one to a younger man, with dark hair and hazel eyes. Vinny looks back at
Dr. Bryce Barty as he raises his glass to toast him, knowing that with the doctors
help, he is going to accomplish many goals that he has. "Bryce,"
Vinny toasts him. "This is to you helping me get everything that I want,
that I need." Bryce uneasily toasts him back before he takes a sip
of his bourbon. "I don't know that I have much choice in the matter,"
he admits back to Vinny. "You know who I am working for and that is something
that can never be revealed." "Information is power," Vinny
chuckles back to him. "It's called blackmail," Bryce tells
him quickly, thinking about how Vinny is using the information of his boss to
get what he wants. "I don't have a choice in this matter."
"Ah, there's always a choice," Vinny reminds him. "And let's not
call it blackmail, let's call it a mutually agreed upon contract."
"Look, Vinny," Bryce looks at him with intent. "I was able to switch
that DNA test result to make it appear that you are Brett and not Vinny, but this
plan that you have for Abby Lawson's baby, I don't think I can help you with that.
The Lawson's are a powerful family, I don't want to get on their bad side."
Vinny chuckles back to him. "I think you're forgetting that I know who
your boss is," Vinny reminds him. "If that got out, all hell would break
loose, don't you forget that. Besides, my plan for Abby's child will never be
exposed, so you will never get on the Lawson's bad side." Bryce
rolls his eyes as he takes another swig of his drink. "What is it, exactly,
that you want me to do?" "I thought you'd never ask,"
Vinny smirks back to him. Roboto "There is still
no word from Cassie," Kim announces to Robbie as she moves into the main
office of Roboto. They have been trying to locate her since they have realized
that she is the one who stole millions from both Roboto and Robertson Enterprises;
Kim can't believe that she was so foolish to let Cassie into the company. She
can't help but think that this is all her fault. "The longer we go without
hearing from her, the more I fear she has disappeared and we will never see that
money again." "Natasha and I met with Dominick earlier,"
Robbie reveals to her as they lock eyes. "He suggested that we put our differences
aside and try to work together to bring Cassie down." "Did
you and Natasha agree to that?" Robbie uneasily nods back to her.
"Yea, we did," he tells her. "Between our contacts and Dominick's,
we should be able to track Cassie down and make her pay for everything she has
done to us." "God, I hope that happens," she whispers
back to him. "I can't help but feel responsible since I gave Cassie the job
here in the first place." "This isn't your fault," Robbie
replies to her as he moves up to her. "We had no idea that Cassie was going
to play us and Robertson. Don't beat yourself up, okay?" Kim smiles
back to him. "Thanks for trying to make me feel better, Robbie."
"I have many ways that I could cheer you up," he winks back to
her as he moves closer to her. Kim chuckles back to him. "Is that
so?" Robbie nods. "I know you wanted to wait, but I want you
so badly Kim," he whispers to her as he caresses her face. "I don't
think I can wait anymore." Kim looks into his eyes before she turns
around and moves away from him. She reaches the office door and locks it before
she rushes back to him and kisses him passionately. "Then have me,"
she says in between kisses. "Make love to me, Robbie." The
Sugarbowl Max sits in back booth with a coffee in front of himself
as he thinks back to his visit with his mother earlier in the morning. She was
in frantic panic to leave Twin Peaks because of something she had done; while
she didn't admit to anything, Max hadn't seen Cassie in that state in a very long
time. He has no idea what his mother did but he hopes that where ever she went,
she is still able to help him break up Jacob and Paige. "They were
going to elope," he whispers to himself, as he recalls overhearing the couple
decide to cancel the big wedding and rush off to get married just the two of them.
"That means that we don't have a lot of time, Mom. We have to do something
to stop this wedding. Our entire future depends on it." He pulls
out his cell phone from his pants pocket and dials a number. He groans out loud
when he hears Cassie's voicemail kick in. "Damn it," he says while the
recording plays. "Mom, it's me. Can you please call me back to let me know
where you are? We don't have a lot of time to get Jacob and Paige a part!"
He hangs up the phone and runs his hands through his hair. "Mom said
that she would rather Jacob die than marry Paige," he recalls the conversation
he had with Cassie before she skipped town. "Mom, please tell me you're not
going to do anything crazy. Please tell me you won't hurt Jacob and Paige."
Banff, Canada; The Pyramid Cabins Jacob and Paige slowly
drive up to their log cabin, which is located about 30 minutes out of the town
of Banff. While there were hotels in Banff that the couple could have stayed in,
they thought a more secluded cabin in the woods would be more romantic.
"This place is gorgeous," Paige tells her fiancé as she moves
out of the car and looks around as a light snow fall comes down from the sky.
"It really is," Jacob agrees with her as he looks at the wilderness
that surrounds him. "I'm glad we decided to get one of these cabins. We can
go into Banff tomorrow, get married, then spend a week here for a honeymoon."
"That sounds amazing," Paige smiles to him as she leans over and
kisses him on the lips. "A week here alone with you, I can't think of anything
better." "Me either," Jacob nods back to her. "After
all the drama back home, some alone time with my new wife is just what the doctor
ordered." "I like the sound of that, your wife."
"Tomorrow," Jacob smiles back to her. "You become my wife, if you'll
still have me." "I'll definitely have you," she says back
to him. "Shall we get our luggage and head inside?" "Yea,
sounds like a plan," Jacob moves to the back of the car. "Huh,"
Paige says as she looks beyond her cabin and sees another cabin relatively close
to us. "Looks like we aren't as secluded as we thought; There's another cabin
just over there." "Yea," Jacob replies to her. "The
grounds have around 20 cabins accordingly to their website. We were bound to see
another one sometime. I tried to get the most private cabin available."
"As long as our neighbor is quiet, I'm good," she pulls out her
suitcase from the trunk of the car. "I don't want to be disturbed this week."
"Don't worry," Jacob reassures her. "No one will disturb us,
I'll see to it." *** At the adjacent cabin, Cassie
pours herself a glass of red wine before she moves to the window. She looks outside
and can see the same nature views that Jacob and Paige were seeing. She glares
her eyes when sees a car pull up to other cabin. She sets her glass of wine down
and grabs the binoculars that were in the cabin when she arrived. She looks towards
the car and can see Jacob and Paige standing outside. "Perfect,"
Cassie whispers to herself. "You're finally here. Now, I can carry out the
rest of my plan. Because, it's time that you realize that we are meant to be together
Jacob. I won't settle for anything less." She picks up her glass
of wine and takes another sip before she moves over the sofa in the cabin. She
sits down and pulls a small box that sits on the coffee table towards her. She
opens the box and reveals a small hand gun. "I am not afraid to
use this to get exactly what I want," she whispers as she caresses the gun.
The last few months have taken its toll on Cassie and now, she's close to have
a mental break, but she isn't able to realize that. She is too focused on getting
Jacob back, once and for all. "It's time that I get what I deserve. And,
it's like I told Max, I'd rather see you dead than marry Paige, Jacob. You don't
deserve that, no one would." The Tower's; Floor Three; Shelley's
Condo "I need to know what you were doing here today?"
Simona looks back at Dawn and Cheresa as they stand in Shelley's condo, which
is now a police scene. "I had to come see Shelley to discuss something
with her," Cheresa quickly replies to her as she wipes her nose with a Kleenex.
"The three of us have been friends for a long time." "Okay,"
Simona takes some notes. "And, when you got here, you said the door was slightly
ajar?" "Yea, I knew immediately that something was up because
Shelley never leaves her door open." "When you came inside,
did you see or any anyone else in the condo?" Cheresa shakes her
head back to her. "I kept calling out for Shelley," she says as she
gets choked up. "But, she never answered. Eventually, I saw her and that's
when I called you. I
what happened to her?" "We don't
know all the details just yet," Simona replies to her quickly. "But
someone killed her, right?" Dawn asks her. "I mean, how did she even
die?" "She was stabbed multiple times," Simona reveals
to the younger women, who gasp out in horror. "What we don't know is who
could have done this and why there were rose petals on top of her body."
"She was stabbed?" Cheresa cries out in horror. "Someone came
in here and actually killed Shelley? Who would do that? Who would kill Shelley?"
"That's what I intend to figure out," Simona looks back at her
with intent. Next on One Day at a Time - Cassie continues to plot
against Paige & Jacob - Simona investigates - Robbie asks Kim a serious
