Previously on One Day at a Time
- Cassie left a car running in the garage of Jacob and Paige's cabin and left them tied up, thinking the carbon monoxide will kill them. Jeff, Shane & Max, meanwhile, arrived in Banff
- Andy told Nicholas he wanted to track down the Reese lookalike. Nicholas supported him but told him it might be difficult
- Victoria told Eva she was offered her old job at TPGH
- Dominick learned that Kim hired Will to seduce Eva
- Eva continued to be cold to Will
- Abby decided to keep her baby instead of give it up for adoption

Banff, Canada; The Pyramid Cabins

"Paige! Paige!" Jacob yells as he starts to cough heavily in the garage of the cabin that he and Paige rented in Banff, Canada. The rental car is still running, which means the garage is slowly filling with carbon monoxide, which is the reason that Paige has passed out. He just hopes that he can wake her up as he knows that if she truly is unconscious, then it means that the carbon monoxide is killing her. "Please wake up, you have to stay with me! Paige!"

Paige doesn't move from her slumped over position in her chair, where she is tied up. Jacob looks at her as his coughing increases. "Paige, please," he says as his coughing increases. "Oh God, I can't believe this is happening!"

He tries to struggle free but he ends up tipping his chair over. Tears fill his eyes as his coughing continues. "Please don't let us die," he whispers to himself. "Please…" he says before he falls unconscious.

Meanwhile, the rental car that Jeff, Shane and Max are in slowly pulls into the entrance of the Pyramid Cabins as they realized where Paige and Jacob were from her social media accounts. Shane looks out his window and sees a site map posted outside.

"Hey," he tells the driver. "Stop here, I want to look at this map!"

He jumps out of the car as Max and Jeff follow him. "Okay, which cabin do we think that Paige and Jacob would have chosen?" Shane asks them as they look at the map.

"If they came here to elope," Jeff begins to reply to them. "Then, they likely want to be in the most private cabin possible."

"Agreed," Max nods back to them as he points to two cabins that are the most private. "Likely one of these two?"

"Yea that's cabin 6 and 7," Shane says. "Come on, let's go. We need to see if Paige and Jacob are at one of those cabins."

The Young Mansion; Melissa's Home

Andy takes a deep breath as he stands outside of the Young Mansion. He hasn't been back to the property since he moved out months ago because he was having visions of Reese in the master bedroom. He, now, knows that Melissa hired someone who looks like his dead husband to gaslight him as a way to break him and Nicholas up. Andy still has a hard time believing that Melissa would be so cruel. And yet, here is he standing outside her mansion.

He knocks on the door and waits until Hendrix opens the door. Hendrix looks back at him in surprise as he was not expecting to see Andy back at the mansion. "Mr. Spinnes," Hendrix says with an attitude. "What do we owe the pleasure?"

"I need to see Melissa," Andy demands as he pushes his way back the butler and into the foyer of the house. "And, I'm not leaving here until I do."

"Hendrix, who is here?" Melissa asks as she storms into the foyer. She freezes in her tracks at the sight of Andy. "What the hell do you want?"

"I need your help," Andy looks back at her as Melissa looks over at Hendrix. "And, if you refuse to help me, I'm calling the police and having your sorry ass arrested."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"You look very happy today," Vinny notes to Victoria as she smiles through the hallway of the hospital. Vinny knows that he has to continue to pretend to be Brett now since everyone thinks that he is Brett and that Vinny died in the explosions.

"Brett, hi, what are you doing here?" Victoria turns and looks at the Victors twin. "Is everything okay?"

Vinny nods back to her immediately. "I was just here for a checkup and everything is still good. I'm in perfect health."

"Good," Victoria says back to him.

"So," he continues as he looks at her. "What has that smile on your face?"

"I just accepted my old job back," Victoria reveals to him. "The hospital hired me back after I took a short leave after my mental health crisis from a few years ago."

"That's great to hear," Vinny uneasily smiles back to her. "You should be proud of yourself."

"Thanks," Victoria smiles back to him. "Look, I have another meeting but we should get together soon? Get to know one another better?"

"That sounds great," Vinny says back to her. He watches as Victoria walks away from him and rolls his eyes. "You were one of the main causes that my plan to keep Brett and Daisy my hostage went up in flames," he whispers to himself. "And now, you're getting your life back? Oh no, Victoria," he continues. "You will pay for crossing me, I will see to that."

Roboto

"Have there been any updates on Cassie Nova's whereabouts?" Dominick asks as he moves into the main office at Roboto and sees Kim sitting behind the desk. He recalls how he asked the Calimo's to help him track down Cassie since they have realized that she is the one who stole money from both Roboto and Robertson Enterprises.

"No," Kim looks back at him quickly. "I am still working with our own internal teams to figure out how Cassie could have stolen that money without cause."

"I am doing the same," Dominick moves to the front of the desk. "I'm glad that I have you alone without Natasha and Robbie present."

Kim looks back at him and arches her eyebrow. "You are? Why? What's going on Dominick? What don't you want Robbie and Natasha to know?"

"It's nothing about Cassie Nova," Dominick glares at her. "No, what I have to say to you is personal."

"Ah," Kim sighs back to him as she stands up and moves to the bar in the office. "Let me guess, you're furious with me for paying Will to seduce your wife?"

"Where the hell do you get off interfering with my marriage that way?" he yells back at her.

"Oh please Dominick," Kim huffs back to him. "You know damn well that if Bob was alive, he would have pulled the same stunt! And, this isn't out of our wheel house considering your history with Sofia when she was married to Bob."

"How dare you bring Sofia into this!" Dominick grits his teeth back to her. "That was completely different."

"The only transaction that is different is that you didn't get paid to sleep with her," Kim replies to him quickly. "Face it Dominick, you're only mad because your wife slept with Will! Just because I paid Will to seduce your wife, Eva could have said no. And that is something that is strictly between you and your wife."

Twin Peaks Executive Hotel

Will opens the door to his hotel room and lets the room service attendant in. The bellhop leaves the cart of food in the middle of the room and then moves back to the door. Will passes him a ten dollar bill and thanks him. As he is about to close his door, he can't help but see Eva emerge from a room just down the hall from his.

"Eva?" he asks as he moves into the hallway. "What are you doing here?"

Eva sighs back to him as she finishes closing her hotel room door. "If you must know, Dominick threw me out of the house, I'm not on good terms with Natasha and Victoria just moved back into her one bedroom condo, so I had nowhere else to go. So, I got a room here."

"You should have come to me," Will replies to her quickly. "You could have stayed here."

"I've told you Will," Eva looks back at him with intent. "You and I are over. Moving into your hotel room was not an option."

"I wish you could come around to the fact that you and I belong together Eva," Will tells her. "I know that everything that has happened has been hurtful, but can you really deny that you felt something for me?"

"I was lonely Will," Eva says back to him quickly. "I never should have slept with you! It was a mistake. Please, you have to stop pursuing me, it will never happen. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have an appointment."

Will watches Eva storm away from him. He runs his hand through his hair before he moves back into his suite. "You're wrong Eva," he whispers to himself. "You will see that we are meant to be, even if it's the last thing I do."

The Lawson Estate; Greg, Brooke, Brad, Abby & Cheresa's Home

"I'm still in shock about Shelley," Abby tells Greg and Brooke as she pours herself a cup of water at the bar in the living room of the Lawson estate. Abby recalls how Cheresa told the family a short time ago about Shelley's murder; she is still having a hard time believing that Shelley was stabbed multiple times.

"We all are," Greg replies to her daughter. "The most important thing is that we are all here for Cheresa right now. She is going to need us more than ever before."

"That is the wonderful thing about being a Lawson," Brooke takes a sip of her gin and tonic. "We always come together when times get tough."

"Here, here," Greg smiles back to her. "How are you feeling Abby? The baby, it must be coming soon."

"I am ready for him or her," Abby admits to them. "I just hope Andrew is ready because I still have made up my mind: I am going to keep my baby. I'm going to give him or her up for adoption."

"That's wonderful news," Brooke says back to her. "We love the idea of having a grandchild in the house!"

Before Abby can reply, she looks down and then back up with worry on her face. "I don't think you'll have to wait much longer," she says quickly. "My water just broke! I need to go to the hospital!"

The Young Mansion; Melissa's Home

"And what, exactly, do you think I can do for you, exactly?" Melissa huffs back to Andy, not amused by his threat to her.

"I need to know where the man you hired to pretend to be my husband is," Andy glares back to her. "And, don't you dare tell me you have no idea, because I won't hesitate to call and press as many charges against you as I can. The only reason I'm not is because you're Nicholas' mother."

"You have no proof that I have done anything wrong," Melissa tells him. "But, I have no reason to not give you the information."

"You keep telling yourself that I have no proof," Andy says back to her. "You'd look good in orange, Melissa."

"Here is the man's phone number," Melissa passes him a piece of paper. "Now, get the hell out of my house!"

Andy grabs the paper and turns away from her. "With pleasure," he sneers before he leaves. He slams the door closed behind him and then looks at the piece of paper. "Okay, now I can start to get some of the answers I need."

Banff, Canada; The Airport

Cassie looks outside and sees a heavy snowfall coming down in the mountain region of Banff. She looks at her watch and realizes that she should be taking off at any time, she just hopes that there isn't a delay because of the heavy snow.

"Ms. Nova," a woman approaches her.

Cassie turns around to face her. "Yes, is my flight ready?"

"It is," the woman replies to her. "However, we recommend waiting until the snow has calmed down. It can be rather dangerous to depart at a time with such heavy snow fall."

"No," Cassie shakes her head back to her. "I have to get out of here and I'm not waiting another moment. You tell the pilot that I'm paying him to get me out of here so I will decide when we leave, and that's final."

The driver pulls the car into the cabin's driveway and slowly comes to a stop outside the garage. Jeff, Shane and Max hop out of the car and prepare to head to the cabin.

"Wait," Shane stops the boys from moving closer to the cabin. "I hear another car running in the garage," he says. "That seems really weird, right?"

"Yea, really weird," Max replies as he rushes up to the garage door. "Here, help me open this thing!"

Shane and Max pull the garage door open slowly as Jeff peers inside. "My God, Paige," he yells as he rushes up to his daughter and Max and Shane move up to Jacob. Max looks around in horror as he wonders what Cassie did to Paige and Jacob. He can't believe his mother would go so far.

"Jacob?" Shane yells at his son. "My God, she was trying to poison them! We have to get to the hospital ASAP!"
