Bryce twiddles
his thumbs as he waits outside of Shane's office at the hospital. He got a call
from Shane telling him that he made a decision about the job that he applied for
recently at Twin Peaks General Hospital. Bryce is hoping that he get the position
because he feels like it would help him start back on a normal future; after everything
that happened with Frederick, Vinny and Victoria the last couple of years, he
just wants a future with less drama. Bryce looks up when the door to Shane's
office opens and the Chief of Staff appears. "Doctor Barty, please come in,"
Shane smiles back to him. Bryce slowly stands up and moves towards the
office. "Thank you," he says as he moves into the office. "I appreciate
the time and the opportunity for this job at the hospital." "I
should be thanking you," Shane chuckles back to him as he moves around his
desk and sits across from Bryce. "The job posting, as you know, it is for
a special project that we are doing here at the hospital, so we didn't get a lot
of interest." Bryce gulps back to him. "I read that, yes,"
he nods to him. "After my experience at Raven's Meadow, I am really looking
forward to something less
exciting, for lack of better word." Shane
continues to chuckle to him. "That's fair, and I won't keep you in suspense.
You were the successful candidate. The job posting, it is yours, if you're still
interested." Bryce grins ear to ear back to Shane as he reaches over
and shakes his hand. "I am very much interested, thank you so much, you won't
regret this, I can promise you that." Penny's Farmhouse; Holdenville,
Oklahoma
"Alright, I just need you to move those three bails of
hay to the upper deck of the barn and we can call it a day," Penny tells
Cory as they stand in the barn on her property. Penny is still so grateful that
she found Cory in the plane wreck as he has been a life saver with the property,
including moving around the heavy haybales. "Yea, I can do that,"
Cory replies to her as he grabs the pitch form and stabs the first bail with it.
He grunts loudly as he lifts up to the upper level of the barn. When he finishes,
he looks over at Penny with a sly grin on his face. "Who knew that straw
would be so heavy?" Penny chuckles back to him. "That's why
I am so glad you're here, there ain't a hope in heaven that I'd be able to do
that." "Does Gordy normally help you, then?" "He
does, when he's not busy with his own farm," Penny nods back to him. "It
can be a challenge though." Suddenly, Cory freezes as he has a flash
of Sophie rushing up to him with a smile on her face. The moment only lasts for
a moment, before he returns back into the present. Cory remains frozen, however,
as Penny watches him in concern. "Cory? You okay? You look a million
miles away." Cory snaps out of it at the sound of Penny's voice.
He looks over at her, not wanting to concern her that he just had some type of
memory flash. Still, he wonders who the woman in his vision was, before he smiles
at her. "I'm good," he finally replies to her. "Two more
bails and we are done," he says as he moves to the next haybale, his mind
wondering who the blonde girl in his dreams are. The Tower's; The Penthouse;
Robin's Home
"Hang on, I'm coming," Robin calls out as she
throws a small towel over her shoulder and rushes to the front door of the penthouse
as she heard the doorbell ring. She was just doing some dishes as she has to clean
Oscar's bottles before he can use them again; she is grateful that both Oscar
and Dominique are with the nanny this morning so she can catch up on some of the
household chores that she has needed to complete. She opens the door and is surprised
to see Antonio standing in her hallway. "Antonio, what a surprise."
"After our visit last night, it got me thinking about something,"
he chuckles back to her as he moves into the penthouse. "And that is that
you're a very busy woman, so I had my chef from the Pink Flamingo make you some
of those blueberry pancakes that you like so much." Robin shakes
her head in disbelief as he holds up the takeout bag. "You're too sweet,
how did you know that I haven't eaten yet today?" "A single
mom of two trying to be superwoman?" he asks her back quickly. "Call
it a lucky guess." "Well, it's very appreciated," Robin
replies to him. "I hope you brought enough that you can eat with me?"
"I am sure we can share whatever is in here," Antonio looks back
at her. "As long we can get to spend more time together." "We
can do that," Robin nods back as she moves up to him. "Here, let me
take this and I'll get us some plates," she says as she takes the bag from
his hand. He grabs her wrist and leans into her, giving her a kiss on her lips.
"I'm looking forward to it," he whispers back to her as their lips
part and they look into each other's eyes. The Cascade Apartments;
Cassie & Max's Home
"You know, I didn't sleep very well because
I kept thinking about this conversation," an excited Cassie tells Jacob as
he moves into the apartment. Cassie recalls how the previous night, Jacob showed
up because he told her that he had to talk to her, but he was headed home so he
revealed that he would come back first thing in the morning to talk to her. Cassie,
however, has been eagerly waiting to hear his news because she, hopes, that he
is about to tell her that he has decided to come back to her and that he is leaving
Isabelle. "Yea, sorry about that," Jacob grins back to her.
"Like I said yesterday, I was headed back to the mansion when you responded
to my text. I had a long day and just needed to crash." "It's
fine baby," Cassie purses her lips together. "I've waited this long,
one more night wasn't that painful," she winks back to him. "I'm just
so happy that you've finally come to your senses." "What are
you talking about?" Jacob asks her quickly. "This conversation,"
Cassie replies to him. "You've decided to come back to me? We are going to
reunite and be the family that Natasha tried to steal from us; you, me and Carter,
the way that it's always been. Oh! I'm so happy, Jacob!" "Cassie,
wait," Jacob puts his hands up in the air. "You have to listen to me."
Cassie moves up to him and kisses him passionately on the lips. "Why
don't we go into the bedroom and make up for lost time? We can talk after?"
"Cassie!" Jacob shouts as she moves back from him in surprise. "You
have to listen to me, okay?! What I'm going to tell you, it's not that I'm coming
back to you. That's the furthest thing that I'm about to tell you." The
Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino
"You never did text me
back last night," Will tells Eva as they sit across from one another at a
table with some breakfast in front of them. Will recalls how he texted Eva and
asked her to get together soon; he hasn't made it a huge secret that he hopes
that they can reunite now that she is back, because right before her 'death',
they had agreed to try to make their relationship work. "I know,
I am sorry," Eva tells him as she takes a sip of her coffee. "I was
actually with Abby Lawson and Ethan Alexander." "Oh? That seems
surprising." "Yes, well, I found out some news," Eva looks
back at him. "Ethan, he's a lawyer, and apparently once I came back to town,
Abby had him do some digging. It turns out, Abby's marriage to Dominick is illegal
because my divorce to Dominick never went through because everyone believed I
died." "Ah, so you're still married to Dominick?" Will
asks her as she nods back. He gulps heavily to her, realizing that this could
change everything for their future. "I guess that means that we can't be
together, then?" "Oh Will," Eva sighs as she reaches over
and grabs his hand. "I don't know what my future holds right now, I am just
trying to get my life back on track. I hope you're okay with that? I mean, Dominick,
he's in a coma, I have no idea if or when he will wake up. I am in no position
to jump into a relationship with you, or anyone, right now." "I
appreciate that honesty," Will tells her. "But just know that I am still
head over heels in love with you. I always have been, and I think I always will
be." "I believe you and I am flattered but right now, my focus
has to be on Dominick." "Really?"
he asks her in surprise. "You mean the same man that married a much younger
woman after he thought you were dead?" Eva
uneasily chuckles back to him. "I am still surprised that Dominick married
Abby, yes, but the truth is, he was never going to mourn me forever. He was going
to move on, I am just stunned that he moved on with someone more than half his
age." "You
are too forgiving," Will shakes his head back to her. "What are you
going to do to focus on Dominick?"
"I've been thinking about that," Eva taps her finger on the edge
of her coffee cup. "And I think I'm going to seek out a specialist for Dominick.
There must be a doctor in this world that knows how to bring a man out of a coma
after he suffered a stroke, right? I mean, must be something we can do, and I
am going to find that person that can help us." *** Meanwhile,
at the bar, Clayton sits alone with a Ceasar in front of him. His mind is racing
about what is happening at the hospital this morning as Andy, Nicholas and Madeline
get the DNA test results back. For a brief moment, he thought about going to the
hospital to be there, but something in his gut told him to stay away. "I
wish I could be a fly on the wall," he whispers to himself. "What is
that test going to say? What the hell is happening there?" Before
he can say anything else, his cell phone starts to ring. He looks at the screen
and arches his eyebrow when he sees the name, "Melissa Young", appear.
"Melissa, this is a surprise." "Hello darling,"
Melissa replies to him from Boston. "It's been a while, I have to
ask, what do you want?" Clayton nervously chuckles. "I'm sure
you are aware, but my son is at the hospital right now about to receive the DNA
test results," Melissa tells him as she purses her lips together. "I'm
calling to warn you, Clayton. It's not too late, you know." "Too
late? Too late for what?" he asks her in confusion. "To run
far, far away before the truth comes out," Melissa sneers at him. "Because
the truth is going to change everything, for everyone." Twin Peaks
General Hospital "We are all very eager to find out the results
of the DNA test," Madeline stands up from her chair and looks back at Greg,
who is holding the DNA tests in his hand. "Yea, Dr. Lawson, please
don't keep us in suspense," Andy looks back at him eagerly. "Alright,"
Greg chuckles as he opens the envelope. "The results are
well, Madeline,
you and Clayton do not share DNA." "What?" Madeline gasps
back in horror as Andy hugs Nicholas in shock. "That means that Clayton has
been pretending to be a Wilkins this entire time? He's
he's not my brother?"
"That's exactly what the test results prove," Greg nods back to
her as she stands there in shock and horror. Next on One Day at a Time -
