Penny's Farmhouse; Holdenville,
Oklahoma
Cory sits at the table in the small kitchen of Penny's farmhouse
with his tablet in his hand. After working outside all morning, he is taking a
break and doing some reading on the tablet. He is still struggling to know what
to do, exactly, with the fact that his memory has come back. He has enjoyed his
time with Penny and being on the farm so much, but he does miss his family, especially
Robin and Sophie. But, a part of him, wonders if everything has happened for a
reason and if his family is better off without him. After all, there was always
so much drama back in Twin Peaks. He scrolls down to read more news and
feels his heart skip a beat when he sees the next headline. "International
Model Sensation Robin Navy Engaged to Casino Mogul Antonio Moretti".
"That son of a bitch," Cory whispers to himself. "He was pursuing
Robin for months before the plane crash; he probably caused the plane to crash
to get me out of the picture, and now, she is engaged to him?" "What
are you mumbling about?" Penny asks Cory as she moves into the kitchen from
the living room. "Nothing," Cory sets his tablet down. "Just
that I've been thinking and
I think I'm going to stay here a while long,
Pen. Back home, there's just too much bullshit and drama." "What
about that Antonio guy that wanted you dead?" Penny puts her hand on her
hip. "Don't you want him to get justice?" "Of course,"
Cory nods back to her. "But at what cause? For there to be more drama with
Antonio and my family? I
I don't know if it's worth all that, you know?"
Penny moves up to him and puts her hand on his shoulders, which causes them
to lock eyes with one another, both of them instantly thinking about the kiss
they shared the night his memory returned. "Like I said the other day, whatever
works for you," she tells him. "You can stay here as long as you need
too, Cory. I meant that; if you want more time away, you can have it."
Cory stands up and caresses her face. "Thanks," he whispers back
to her. "I am going to stay right where I am." Roboto
"You know, I haven't been able to stop thinking about our conversation
in the breakroom," Sophie admits to Max as she moves to the bar in the main
office of Roboto and pours herself a glass of sparkling water before she turns
to the man that she is crushing on. She knows that they were in the breakroom
a short time ago and Max was saying that he believed that Cassie leaving town
was connected with Isabelle's miscarriage, but he wasn't sure how. Max
looks up from the file that he is reviewing at the desk and grins at her. "Which
part of our conversation? We chatted about a few things." She giggles
back to him as she moves closer to the desk, sitting on the edge of it. "The
part where you thought your Mom leaving town was connected to Isabelle's miscarriage."
"I mean, it makes sense, right?" Max shrugs his shoulders back to
her. "She was there when Isabelle fell down the stairs and then she leaves
town without saying anything to anyone? There must be a connection there
"
"I agree with you," Sophie admits to him. "And that's why I
want to help you." "Help me?" "Yea,"
Sophie smiles. "I want to help you find out what this connection is. Between
the two of us, we should be able to put our heads together and figure this out.
That is, if you want my help." Max looks back into her eyes. "I
would like that a lot Sophie, thanks for offering to help me with this."
MW Investigations
Meggan sits behind her desk in her office
as her mind races about the latest on-goings in her life. As soon as she, Lukas,
and Donovan returned from Mexico after finding Olly, she and Lukas learned that
Frederick had been killed in a fire at Raven's Meadow. She is still having a difficult
time believing that her father is dead, since it feels like they only just learned
that he was alive. She and Lukas, even, went to the Victors mansion to see if
there was a clue that he might still be alive, again, but they didn't find anything.
Her saving grace has been that Tyler, who is the person that told her and
Lukas about Frederick and Felicia's demise, has been her rock. She never thought
that she would want to lean on a man again after all the drama between her and
Jeff, but she can't deny that she feels a chemistry with Tyler that feels good
to her. And their love making is unbelievably good, she thinks to herself with
a grin on her face. "Maybe that's what I need right now," she
whispers to herself as she picks up her phone and starts to send her lover a text
message. "Meet me at my office in 20 for an afternoon delight?"
She pushes the send button and within a few minutes, she can see the small
bubbles on her screen notifying her that Tyler is responding to her message. She
waits with excitement to see what his response is. "No can do, busy
at the hospital with my Dad waking up," the message reads, which sinks Meggan's
heart. "Don't be upset," she tells herself. "Of course,
he's at the hospital
of course he is," she reminds herself, even though
she is upset that Tyler can't make time for her. The Lawson Estate;
Greg & Cheresa's Home
"It was really kind of you to have me
over for lunch before our shift at the hospital," Chantel tells Cheresa as
they sit in the living room of the lavish Lawson mansion with some sandwiches
in front of them and sparkling waters. Chantel has never seen such an extravagant
home before, yet alone eat in one. "Your house is really incredible."
Cheresa chuckles back to her. "Well, thanks," she tells her co-worker.
"I was born into this, so I can't really take any credit." Chantel
takes a bite of her sandwich before she looks back at her. "When you say,
you were born into this, you meant adopted right? The Lawsons, they aren't your
biological parents?" "Right," Cheresa nods back to her.
"Greg and Brooke adopted me after I was stolen from my biological parents
and sold on the black market. It was only a couple of years ago that I found out
who my birth parents are; they are actually living here in Twin Peaks as well."
"That's wild," Chantel's eyes open wider in surprise at the story.
"What are the odds of that?" Cheresa shrugs back to her. "Anyways,
it's been a complicated ride getting to know them and dealing with the fact that
I have two families, but I am managing. You
you also had a baby, right?"
Chantel uneasily smiles back to her. "I
I did," she admits
to her. "But at the time, I wasn't ready to be a mother and so I gave him
up for adoption." "You won't get any judgement from me,"
Cheresa chuckles back to her. "My parents adopted me and gave me a great
life, I mean, it wasn't the ideal adoption, I guess, but it's been good. You did
what you had to for your kid, Chantel. I think that's really respectable."
Chantel smiles back over at her co-worker. "I appreciate you saying that,"
she tells her friend before she glances at her phone. "Oh, look at the time.
We better get going, but thanks again for this, Cheresa. I've had a good time."
"Me too," Cheresa tells her friend. The Richardson Estate;
Meggan, Lukas, Donovan & Olly's Home Lukas looks at a piece of
paper that is in his hand while the estate chef is standing next to him in the
living room of the mansion that he lives in with his husband, son, and sister.
He is shaking his head at a few of the items that are on a potential menu for
an evening he is planning for himself and Donovan. "No, this isn't
right," Lukas looks back at the chef. "Donovan likes lobster over crab,
so I would scrap the crab cakes and maybe do a lobster bisque for the starter."
"I can make that change," the chef tells him. Lukas passes
him the menu back. "Otherwise, this looks great," he tells his employer.
"Thank you for coming up with that menu so quickly." "Of
course, Mr. Richardson. Is there anything else right now?" "No,
that's all," Lukas dismisses his employee before he walks to the bar and
pours himself a drink. "Tonight is the night I'm going to start putting my
marriage back together," he whispers to himself. "And it's going to
start with a romantic dinner for just the two of us." Meanwhile,
upstairs in the master bedroom, Donovan looks at his phone wondering if and when
he will hear from Sergio again. He almost can't believe that the detective from
Mexico is in town; he never imagined that the man that he kissed before he left
would be in Twin Peaks. But seeing him, it brought up even more of the feelings
that he was starting to have for Sergio. "He did say that we should
get together," Donovan reminds himself of his brief encounter with the detective
at the Pink Flamingo earlier in the day. "I don't know why I'm so eager to
see him again, but I am." Before he knows, his cell phone is chiming,
and he sees an incoming text from Sergio. "Dinner tonight around 7?"
Donovan beams with a smile on his face and he quickly responds. "Wouldn't
miss it for the world." Twin Peaks General Hospital Eva
slowly opens the door to Dominick's hospital room and moves inside. She is still
on cloud nine that Dominick is awake and out of his coma; when she first returned,
she was told that he might never wake up. "Dominick, it's me,"
Eva says as she sits next to him, and he looks at her. "I'm so glad that
you're awake." "Eva," he whispers to her. "You're
you're
alive? How is this possible?" "Please, one thing at a time,"
Eva tries to keep him calm. "I don't want you to get too worked up, okay?"
she says as he nods back to her. "To make a long story short, Frederick kept
me hidden because he wanted to use me as a part of his plan. But that's water
under the bridge, I am back Dominick, and I'm here, I'm your wife." Dominick
looks back at her in confusion, as he still remembers marrying Abby. "No,"
he shakes his head back to her. "No! Abby
.Abby is my wife!"
"Dominick, please," she encourages him. "Please stay calm,
okay?" "No! You
you slept with Will!" Dominick continues
to get more frustrated with her. "You betrayed us!" Eva gets
tears in her eyes as she looks at Dominick, who starts taking deep breathes to
keep himself calm. "I'm sorry
I'm so sorry, but we can make this work,
darling, oh I know we can! Don't talk right now, okay? Just focus on getting some
rest, that's all that matters right now; you getting better, that is our top priority."
The Victors Mansion
Bryce slowly moves up to the front door
of the Victors mansion. He recalls how he got a cryptical note delivered to him
asking him to come to the mansion; he has no idea who summoned him to the mansion
or why, but his curiosity got the best of him and he came to the mansion to see
what is going on. He opens the door and moves inside, looking around the foyer,
but doesn't see any sign of life. "Hello?" he calls out as he
slowly makes his way towards the living room. "It's me, Bryce Barty, I got
your note!" He looks around the living room and still doesn't see
anyone or anything that would give him a clue as to why he is at the mansion.
"Well, this was a waste of time," he whispers to himself as he turns
to leave. Suddenly, one of the doors to the secret tunnels opens and Frederick
appears behind him. "Leaving, so soon?" Frederick's voice says,
creating an echo in the room. "But, I just got here!" Bryce
freezes, immediately, recognizing the voice of the man speaking to him. He slowly
turns around and feels the blood drain from his face at the sight of Frederick
standing behind him. "You're
.you're dead," Bryce says
in shock as he looks at his grandfather. "As you can see, Noah, I'm
very much alive, and now that you're here, I need your help," Frederick says
with a devilish grin on his face. Next on One Day at a Time -
