Roboto Jacob and
Isabelle step off the elevator at Roboto and move towards the main office. They
pause once they get to the door and look at one another quickly. She starts to
fix her husband's tie while he smiles back at her. "Are you sure
you're ready to do this?" Jacob asks her as he grabs her hand and squeezes
it. He knows that she has been going through a rough time since she fell down
the stairs at the Calimo mansion which resulted in her miscarriage. However, after
Natasha suggested to him that he return to work at Roboto, Isabelle thought the
idea would, also, be good for her as she could start to focus on other things.
"I am so ready," she purses her lips together. "I hoe your
Mom is on board with this." "Only one way to find out,"
he chuckles to her as he opens the door to the office and moves inside, where
he sees Natasha sitting behind the desk. "Mom, good morning." "Jacob,
Isabelle," Natasha says as she stands up from behind her desk. "I hope
you being here means you have good news for me about coming back to work at Roboto?"
"I have thought about your offer," Jacob admits to her. "And
I will come back, however I have a condition." Natasha crosses her
arms over her chest as she looks back at her son in surprise. "I'm listening,
what do I have to do for you to say yes?" "Let me come back
to work as well," Isabelle tells her mother-in-law. "Isabelle?"
Natasha asks her quickly in surprise. "Are you sure you're ready to come
back to work? I
I wasn't sure how you were feeling after everything that
happened." "I know and I appreciate it," Isabelle replies
to her. "But the truth is, having purpose and coming to work each day, it
would be good for me to get my mind off the baby and everything that happened.
Jacob and I, we spoke about it and we decided that we are a deal package."
"She's right," Jacob chuckles. "So, it's up to you Mom, do
you want us to work for you?" Natasha gets a smile on her face as
she moves up to him and pulls him into a hug. "I would love nothing more
than to both of you working here again," she says as she holds him, before
they exit the embrace, and she hugs Isabelle. "Welcome back!" Penny's
Farmhouse, Holdenville, Oklahoma
Cory moves into the kitchen of Penny's
farmhouse and sees his friend over the stove as she is making some breakfast,
which consists of scrambled eggs, sausages, and toast. Cory moves to the coffee
pot and pours himself a cup before he takes a sip of it. "It smells
delicious in here," he announces to her, which causes her to turn around
and look at him with a grin on her face. "Thanks Cory," she
says back to him. "It should be ready in another 5 minutes or so. Do you
think you do me a favor in the meantime?" "Uh, of course, what's
up?" "I was thinking of making a stew for dinner, and that slow
cooker is on the top shelf," she points to it at the top of the cupboard.
"You think you could grab it for me?" "Yea, of course,"
he says as he sets the coffee down and moves over to the step ladder. He moves
up and grabs the slow cooker and places it on the counter for her. Then, he starts
to move back down the ladder, but he trips and falls, which causes him to crash
down to the ground. "Cory!" Penny squeals as she moves up to
him, as he groans while laying on the floor. "My God, are you okay?"
"Ugh, I
I will be," Cory rubs his head. "I see why you
wanted me to go up there and not you." "What can I get for you?
Ice?" "No, no, I think I just got the wind knocked out of me,
but I'm fine," he tells her as he sits up and looks into her eyes. Immediately,
he recalls how they shared a kiss the night of the storm, when he got his memory
back. "Am I interrupting something?" a voice calls out at the
door, which causes Penny and Cory to snap out of eye lock with one another and
look at the door, where they see Gordy
standing there. "Gordy," Penny says as she moves up to her fiancé
and hugs him. "I didn't know that you were coming back from the auction today."
"Just pulled in," he smiles at her as they exit their embrace. "Am
I interrupting something?" "No, not at all," Penny replies
to him, as he arches his eyebrow. "Cory was fell off the ladder while he
was getting me the slow cooker. That's all." "Are you okay?"
Gordy asks him, still wondering about what was happening between Cory and Penny
when he walked in as he felt like there was some chemistry between them. "I'll
be fine," Cory nods back to him. "Just a bruised ego, that's all. I'm
going to go clean up and let you guys have a chance to catch up." "What
about your breakfast?" Penny asks him. "I'll eat in a bit, you
two need sometime to catch up," Cory says as he exits the kitchen and Penny
hugs Gordy again, who still wonders what was happening between Cory and his fiancé.
The River Rock Casino
Daisy looks at her bank account balance
on her phone and gets a smile on her face. Before Albertinah's health crisis,
she knows that she, and Andrew, received their inheritance from Vinny's estate,
and now, the money has cleared and is no longer being held by the bank. Which
means, she can give Antonio the money that she owes him and finally get out from
under his thumb at the casino. She shuts her phone off and then moves
up to Antonio's office door, where she knocks and then enters. "Daisy,
I wasn't expecting you," Antonio says from behind his desk. "What brings
you by? Let me guess, you want back into the line of work that you're so good
at?" Daisy rolls her eyes back to him. "You're disgusting,"
she spits back to him. "And no, I'm here because this, this is all ending
today. Andrew and I, we have the more than enough money to pay you back every
single cent we owe you with interest." Antonio slowly stands up from
his desk and glares back at her. "That is impossible," he whispers back
to her. "But it's not," she smirks back to him. "Like I
said, Antonio, this little game you've been playing, it ends today and there's
not a damn thing you can do about it." The Davenport House; Chris,
Trenyce, BJ, and Albertinah's Home Andrew slowly moves up to the front
door of the house where Chris, Trenyce, and their children live. His mind is racing
about what Antonio told him at the hospital the day he was discharged after he
donated bone marrow to save Albertinah from her severe aplastic anemia; he noted
that parents are usually the ones that can donate and suggested that, maybe, he
was the father of Albertinah, not Chris. Andrew, since, has been trying to piece
together the time line, and he knows that it could be true because he and Trenyce
slept together the night of the Roboto gala last year. "If this is
true, it could change everything," he whispers to himself. "I just hope
that Trenyce will tell me the truth because I need to know what's going on."
He knocks on the door and Trenyce opens the door to see him. "Andrew,
hey, come in," she welcomes him into her home. "Thanks,"
he says as he moves into the foyer. "How's Tinah doing?" "She's
amazing, thanks to you" Trenyce smiles back to him. "Chris and I, we
are so grateful that you donated your bone marrow." Andrew uneasily
chuckles back to her. "I just did what anyone would do," he admits to
her. "Is Chris home?" "He just ran to the grocery store,"
Trenyce reveals to him. "After spending so much time at the hospital, we
were really out of the everything in the house." "Makes sense,"
Andrew looks back at her. "I need to ask you a question, and I need you to
be honest with me." "Of course." "Antonio
suggested that I was Albertinah's father," he shocks her by his admission.
"And based on the time that we slept together, it could be true. So is it?
Am I Albertinah's father?" "Of course not!" Trenyce hisses
at him quickly, as she feels her heartrate picking up. She can't believe that
someone has figured out the truth, yet alone Antonio. She has no idea how he could
have learned her secret, but she has to make sure it stays a secret. "I don't
know what the hell Antonio is talking about, but he better shut his mouth because
his lies will cause more hurt than anything. Chris is the father of my daughter,
he always has and he always will be!" "Okay!" Andrew puts
his hands up in defence. "I
I just had to be sure. Thanks for being
honest with me." The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino
Leah sits at a table by herself as she is thinking of ways to get back into
Ethan and Bryce's good graces. She knows that both of her children asked that
she, and Jeff, give them time to adjust to the fact that they are their parents,
but she feels like time is slipping away from them. Of course, in her mind, it
doesn't help that Ethan was kissing Abby and Bryce is making his marriage to Victoria
work. She thinks that the women that her sons are involved with are not good for
them. "I need to ensure that Noah gets away from Victoria,"
she whispers to herself. "And I have to make sure that Ethan doesn't get
sucked into's Abby's web of lies and deceit." Before she can say
anything else, Victoria moves up to the table and sits across from her. "Hi."
Leah looks back at her in surprise, as she wasn't expecting her daughter-in-law
to appear. "Victoria, what can I do for you?" Victoria uneasily
chuckles back to her. "To be honest with you, Leah, I really didn't like
our last conversation, and so, I wanted to change that," Victoria reveals
to her. "I appreciate that, as a mother, you're concerned about Bryce getting
hurt, but I want you to know that I have no intentions of hurting him. I really
do want our marriage to work." Leah nods back to her. "I'm glad
to hear that," she admits to her. "But if I am honest with you, given
your track record, I believe it is only a matter of time before you, or one of
your many personalities, hurts my son." "How dare you,"
Victoria spits back to her. "That was a long time ago! I am in a much healthier
place now Leah, and you know that!" "I don't know anything,"
Leah shakes her head back to her. "You can go ahead and try to make your
marriage work, but I will be watching your every move. And the second I think
Noah is in harms way, I will be there to save him from you." Before
Victoria can respond, Leah stands up and rushes away from the table. Victoria
shakes her head in disbelief. "I will not let you come between me and Bryce,"
she whispers to herself. "And his name is Bryce! Not Noah, you crazy woman!"
The Victors Mansion "Thank you for giving me some time
to get over the shock that you're alive, again," Bryce tells his grandfather
as they sit in the living room of the Victors mansion. Bryce recalls how he was
summoned to the mansion a few days earlier, and Frederick revealed himself to
be alive and well. Stunned, Bryce left, but Frederick warned him not to say anything
to anyone, which Bryce kept his word. But he knew that he would have to talk to
his grandfather to find out what he wanted. "You certainly seem to have nine
lives." Frederick chuckles back to him. "I needed some down
time," he reveals to his grandson. "Sometime for everything to cool
down, but now, it's time for me to carry out my plans." "I'm
going to stop you right there," Bryce puts his hand up in the air. "I
know you summoned me here, Frederick, but I don't want any part of your plans.
I am in a good place right now, and I won't do anything to screw that up."
"How noble of you," Frederick smirks back to him. "But I'm
afraid it's not that simple. You see, Noah, my dear grandson, I know your darkest
secret, and that means you will help me. Because if you don't," Frederick
glares at him as Bryce feels the blood drain from his face. "I will be forced
to tell your wife, who has started to trust you again, that you arranged the baby
switch a few years ago. And if that happens, you can kiss your marriage goodbye."
