Hospital
Chantel sits in the cafeteria of the hospital picking at what
should be mac and cheese, but it resembles something else completely. She has
quickly realized that she needs to either pack a lunch or she must leave the hospital
to eat. While she pokes at the pasta, she can't help but think about how close
she and Cheresa have become while working on the file room re-organization. She
has always considered herself bi-sexual, which is how she ended up pregnant a
few years earlier. But now, she can't deny that she is very attracted to her co-worker,
despite knowing that she has a girlfriend. "Hey, do you mind if I
sit here?" a voice asks her causing Chantel to snap out of it as she sees
Will standing across from her with a tray of food. "Uh, sure,"
Chantel tells him. "Does this place always get so busy at lunch?"
Will chuckles as he sits across from her. "Between staff and people visiting
patients, lunch time is pretty popular. But some advice?" he asks her quickly.
"I wouldn't make a habit of eating here too often." Cheresa
chuckles back to him. "I'm finding that out today," she tells him. "This
is supposed to be mac and cheese!" Will laughs back to her before
he takes a bite of his sandwich. "I'm Will, by the way. I'm a nurse here."
"Chantel," she replies to him quickly. "I was hired to help
with the file room reorg." "Oh
right!" Will smiles back to her. "That's going to be awesome and so
helpful for us. How are you liking it so far?" "It's great,"
Chantel nods back to him. "The people are great to work with and it's a nice
distraction." "Distraction? What do you want to be distracted
from?" Chantel sighs back to him. "It's a long story, but a
few years ago I gave a child up for adoption and sometimes, well sometimes, I
still think about him." "That's natural," Will says. "You
had a child, just because you're not raising him doesn't mean that you're never
going to think of him." "I supposed that's true." "Tell
ya what, how about we look at our schedules and when they align, we grab a drink
together? I could use more friends and it seems like you could too?"
Chantel smiles back at him. "I'd like that Will, I'd like that a lot." | |

Penny's Farmhouse; Holdenville,
Oklahoma
"What's Cory up to now?" Gordy asks Penny as she
moves back into kitchen of her farmhouse. He knows that he just told Cory that
he doesn't understand why he hasn't returned to his hometown now that his memory
has returned. Cory tried to defend himself and his decision, but Gordy wasn't
any of it. "He is resting," Penny looks at him with intent.
"He is still feeling ginger from his fall." "I suppose
that is good for him then." "You were pretty intense earlier,"
Penny puts her hand on her hip. "I am not sure why it matters to you so damn
much if Cory is here or goes home!" Gordy nervously chuckles back
to her. "Forgive me I want to know the truth intention of what is happening
between my fiancé and a strange man that she found in a plane wreck."
"Not this again." "This again?" Gordy asks her
back in a huff. "When I came home earlier, I could have sworn that you and
Cory were about to kiss, Penny. The way you two were looking at one another, I
felt something, that was more than friendship!" Penny gulps back
to him as she knows that she and Cory did share a kiss while Gordy was away this
last time. In fact, it was after the kiss when Cory's memory returned. If she
is honest with herself, she has been thinking about the kiss ever since it happened.
"I can tell that you're thinking about something," Gordy continues
to look at his fiancé. "So, tell Penny, be honest with me! What is
really going on between you and Cory?" Tyler's Townhouse
"Thanks
for the coffee," Madeline tells Tyler as she sits on the sofa in his living
room wearing one of his larger buttoned up shirts. Earlier, they ended up having
passionate sex with one another, which came as a surprise to both of them, but
they both ended up having a good time. "As much fun as staying in
bed all day could have been, I thought we should start to be productive and coffee
is always a good start with that," he chuckles back to her as he looks at
her. "And it gives us a chance to talk." Madeline takes another
sip of her coffee before she looks back at him. "You asked me earlier what
I think we should do next, and I agree we can talk about that." "I
mean, I really enjoyed what just happened." Madeline chuckles back
to him. "I did too, if I didn't make it clear." "I thought
you were pretty clear," he laughs with her. "But seriously, should we,
do this again?" "Well, you said you were casually seeing someone,"
Madeline recalls his comments about a woman that he had been seeing. "I don't
want to complicate that." Tyler nods as he thinks about the few times,
he has slept with Meggan, even though it is not serious. "This will not complicate
that," he reveals to her. "I don't think there was a lot of interest
there, to be honest." "Okay, and what about anyone else?"
Madeline asks him. "Do you have feelings for someone else? Because if you
do, I think I should know about it before I get in too deep." "Who
else do you think I have feelings for?" he shrugs his shoulders back to her.
"Kim," Madeline looks back at him. "I think you still have
feelings for your ex. Am I wrong?" The River Rock Casino
"I can feel your eyes burning into me," Andrew nervously chuckles
to Daisy as he paces back and forth in his suite at the casino, as she sits on
the sofa and watches him. They have been intensely discussing what the secret
that Antonio has over Andrew; Andrew has been trying to think of what Antonio
could know about him, but he keeps drawing a blank. "Sorry, I don't
mean to stare, or even raise my voice before," Daisy replies to him. "It's
just
I thought we were finally going to escape Antonio's clutches and now
he is blackmailing us, and we don't even know what he has over you. It's just
so frustrating." "I know," Andrew sighs back to her as
he moves to the sofa and sits next to her. "I really can't think of anything
that he could use against me." "Please keep thinking,"
Daisy tells him. "Was there something that you did while you were in school?
Or something when you were with Albertinah?" Andrew freezes at the
name of his former lover and Chris and Trenyce's child as he suddenly dawns on
him that, maybe, Antonio discovered his affair with Trenyce. He stands up and
runs his hand through his hair. "Andrew? What is it? Did you think
of something? Do you know what secret Antonio could have over you?" "I
I
think so," Andrew gulps back to her. "And if it's what I think it is,
everyone's life will explode if he spills the beans." The Cascade
Apartments; Ethan's Home
Ethan moves to the bar in th small living
room of his apartment and pours himself a scotch and quickly takes a sip of it.
His mind is racing over his interaction with Victoria at the Pink Flamingo, where
she realized that he has feelings for Abby, and she, then, encouraged him to fight
for her because she married Dominick again. He closes his eyes for a moment
and thinks back to the kiss that he shared with Abby just a few days ago; he hasn't
been able to stop thinking about the kiss, and it's not the first time it has
happened. In fact, they were sharing kisses even before Dominick had his stroke.
"Victoria is right," he whispers to himself as he takes a sip of
his scotch. "If Dominick divorces Eva and remarries Abby, I will have lost
her. And I somehow think she would hold on to her marriage to Dominick forever
this time." "Ugh, I just
I just wish I knew exactly how
she was feeling," Ethan sighs. "I know that deep down, she wants me.
I can tell by the way she kisses me, but she is hypnotized by Dominick and everything
that comes with being his wife." "I
I have to find out
for sure," he tells himself as he pulls out his phone and starts to send
Abby a text. "Hey, please come to my place ASAP. We need to talk," he
types before he presses send. "It's time to find out where we stand,
once and for all." The Tower's, Floor One; Andy's Condo
Andy
opens the door to his condo and moves inside. He takes a deep breath as he is
preparing himself to pack some of his things as he is going to move into the Young
mansion and with Nicholas, as he hopes having the support of his boyfriend all
the time will help with the nightmares he has been having since he accidently
killed Clayton. He knows that he killed Clayton in self-defense, but he doesn't
believe that anyone else would have seen it that. "Okay, I'll just
drop my bag and then head to my bedroom to get some clothes," he whispers
to himself as he moves into the living room but freezes in his tracks. "Oh
my God," he gasps in horror as he feels the blood drain from his face.
On the light carpet in the living room, he can see muddy footprints. He arches
his eyebrow, wondering what is happening. He hasn't been at his place in a couple
of days, but the last time he was here, the footprints were not here. "What
what
the hell is happening to me?" he asks himself in confusion. "Is this
real?" He slowly moves up to the closest footprint and bends down.
He puts his hand on the footprint and some of the mud moves to his hand. "Someone
was in here! Someone was in my condo!" Next on One Day at a Time -
Who was in Andy's condo? - Andrew confronts Antonio - Penny confesses to
