*** Meanwhile, in
the bridal room, Helen emerges from the dressing room in a long, beaded, white
dress. Dawn looks over at her mother and gasps at how beautiful she looks. She
immediately stands up and moves up to her mother, taking her hand towards the
large mirror. "I
I've never seen you look so beautiful,"
Dawn tells her mother, as she gets tears in her eyes. Helen looks at herself
in the mirror and nods. "The dress is stunning, isn't it?" "Only
half as stunning as you," Dawn squeezes her hand. "Today is the day,
Mom. The day that we finally become a family again, this time for real."
"I almost can't believe," Helen tells her. "And are you still
thinking of moving to Toronto with us?" "I am," Dawn admits
to her. "I've waited for this for so long, I think I want to enjoy spending
some family time with you guys. If you'll have me?" "Of course,
we will," Helen pulls her into a hug. "You never have to question whether
your father and I want you around." "I love you guys so much,"
Dawn tells her as they exit their embrace. "But enough of that, let's go
get you married!" ***
Max exits the room where Adam
is finishing getting ready and looks around the church, which continues to fill
up with more guests for the wedding. He smiles at the sight as he still can't
believe that Adam and Helen are about to get remarried. "Oh wow,"
Sophie says as she comes up to Max. "Sophie, hey," Max smiles
back to her. "It's nice that you came today." "My Mom and
your Dad have a long history together," Sophie replies to him. "So,
I came as her plus one since Shane is at the hospital today." "That
makes sense," Max tells her. "Besides, Shane and my Dad also have their
own heated history," he chuckles to her. "You said wow when you approached
me? What's up?" Sophie feels her cheeks blush. "I
uh
"
"What? What is it?" he chuckles. "I
just
well, I think you look very dashing in your tux," she admits to him, causing
him to smile back to her. "Well, thank you," he winks back to
her. "For the record, you look beautiful in your dress." Sophie
feels her heart skip a beat. "Thank you, Max." ***
"The
church is looking so beautiful, don't you think?" Antonio asks Robin as they
sit down next to one another in one of the pews of the church. He smiles over
to his fiancé, before he notices Andrew and Daisy sitting next to one another
in another pew. He feels his heart skip a beat seeing them as he knows he revealed
to Daisy that Andrew and Trenyce slept together and that he, could be, Albertinah's
father. He turns back to Robin, not wanting to dwell on that drama today.
"It really does," Robin replies to him. "I am just so happy
for Adam and Helen. I have a long history with them, and always felt like they
were meant to be, even though Adam and I were engaged for a while." "It
is nice that you two have been able to remain friends after everything that happened,"
Antonio tells her quickly. "Adam and I have remained friendly,"
Robin nods to her. "Helen and I, I don't think we will ever see eye to eye,
but that is another story." "You know what I just realized?"
Antonio asks her as they lock eyes with one another. "What?"
she smiles back to him. "The next wedding this town sees, it will
be ours," he replies to her before he leans in and kisses her on the lips.
"And that will be the most joyous day, for both of us." ***
In another pew, Chris and Trenyce sit next to one another as they look at
pictures of BJ and Tinah are her phone. They keep gushing over how adorable their
children are as they play with one another. They are also feeling incredibly relieved
that Albertinah is, once again, healthy. They have never been more worried then
when she was in the hospital with her severe aplastic amenia. "You
know, I can't stop thinking about how blessed we are," Chris smiles over
to her. "We have these two beautiful children, we have our happy marriage
and we are closer to Cheresa than ever before." Trenyce smiles back
to him. "I know, I have been feeling that way too, Chris. Especially since
Albertinah is back home and healthier than ever before." "That
was a dark time for us," Chris nods back to her. "But we pulled through,
and we did it together. It just makes me realize that we can get through anything
if we do it together." Trenyce leans over and kisses him on the lips.
"I love you so much," she tells him as their lips part. "I
love you too," Chris says back to her. "And you know what? I want the
world to know!" "What are you talking about?" Trenyce giggles
back to him. "Let's renew our vows Trey; let's show the world how
much we mean to one another?" *** Daisy folds her
arms over her chest as she sits next to Andrew in another pew. Normally she would
want to go see Chris and Trenyce, who she can see sitting together, but after
learning that Andrew slept with her niece, and could be Albertinah's father, she
knows that she has to keep her distance because she has no idea how she is going
to react. "You've been so quiet," Andrew finally says something
to her. "I know you're upset with me, but I wish you'd let me explain."
"Explain? What, exactly, do you think there is to explain?" Daisy
hisses back to him. "You knew Trenyce was married but you still slept with
her! And, my God, if you are Albertinah's father, do you know the damage that
would do to this family?" Andrew feels his heart sink inside his
chest. "I know, I know," he replies to her in a whisper. "Trey
and I, we made a mistake, we know that. And it's not like it's happened again;
it was a onetime thing!" "That doesn't change the fact that
you might be the father of her baby." "Might is the key word,"
Andrew looks back at her. "We know how evil Antonio is," he continues
to tell her. "What if he's lying? What if he's just saying that to make sure
we stay in that damn casino?" "That could be true, but the fact
that he knows you slept with Trenyce is enough reason for us to do what he says,
don't you think? How do you think Chris would react to finding out that you slept
with his wife?" she asks him quickly. "I get it," Andrew
sighs back to her. "Either way, I have to find out if Albertinah is mine
or not. I need to know if I fathered that little girl." The Victors
Mansion
Frederick and Bryce move into the living room of the Victors
mansion as Bryce came over to give his grandfather an update on their plan, which
Bryce fully doesn't know yet. He still doesn't understand why Frederick continues
to drag him into all of his plans anyways, but he knows that he can't let the
truth about the baby switch come out. "I hope that you have good
news for me," Frederick tells his grandson as they turn and face one another.
"Tell me that you finished that course and that you're ordained now?"
Bryce gulps before he nods back to him. "I finished this morning,"
Bryce reveals to him as Frederick gets a smile on his face. "I am officially
ordained!" "This is fantastic news!" Frederick replies
to him with a chuckle. "I had hoped that it wouldn't take long, and it certainly
didn't." "I have to ask you something," Bryce looks back
at him with intent. "Why are you doing this to me?" "What
on earth do you mean?" Frederick asks him in confusion. "You
You
made my parents think that I was dead," Bryce tells him. "You took me
to the winery in Santa Barbara and gave me this new identity, you lied to me about
who I was and how we were related
.why? Why have you done all of this, Frederick?"
Frederick puts his hand on his shoulder. "Isn't it obvious, Bryce?"
"No, it's not." "Everything I've done, I've done for
you," Frederick whispers back to him. "You're
you're my protégé.
One day, I won't be here, but I believe with all the work I've done with you,
you will carry on my legacy." Bryce shakes his head in horror back
to him. "No, no I won't," he stutters his words. "I'm
I'm
nothing like you." Frederick grins back to him. "That's where
you're wrong, you're exactly like me," Frederick tells him as Bryce gasps
back to him as the blood drains from his face. "The baby switch, you actively
working to ensure the truth doesn't come out, that's exactly what I would do.
So you see, I have produced a miniature me, and that was always my goal."
St. Joseph's Church
Adam and Max stand next to one another at
the alter in the church. Max can tell that Adam is nervous he is playing with
his hands. Max puts his hands on Adam's shoulders, and they smile at one another
before the wedding march begins. The guests turn and see Dawn emerge at
the back of the church and she starts to walk down the aisle towards her father,
who kisses her cheek. The guests, then, stand up as Helen emerges and
they gasp at how beautiful she is. Helen walks down aisle with a huge smile on
her face. She reaches the altar and kisses Dawn's cheek before she passes her
bouquet of flowers. She then turns to Adam and smiles at him. "You
look beautiful," he whispers to her. "Thank you." "Ladies
and gentlemen," the minister begins to say. "We are gathered here today
to celebrate the union of this man and woman in holy matrimony. Before we continue,
if anyone has just cause for these two not to proceed with this union, speak now,
or forever hold your peace." There's a tense silence as Adam and
Helen look into the crowd, but no one objects. "Very well, let's continue.
Adam, Helen, entering marriage is a sacred union, and it shouldn't be taken lightly.
Do you both enter with the purest of intentions?" "We do,"
Adam and Helen say together. "Very well, the two of you have decided
to write your own vows, so Adam you can begin," the minister instructs him.
Adam looks back at Helen with a chuckle. "We've been on a journey together,
haven't we?" he asks her as she giggles back to him. "We met when we
were young, and we were married and we have a family together, Helen. Somewhere
along the way, we lost our way, but no matter where I was, the path that I was
on, it always lead back to you. Even when we weren't together, my heart belonged
to you, you always consumed it. Today, today is the best day of my life because
I am finally able to tell the world how much I love you, how much I adore you,
and how much I want you to be my wife until I take my last breath. I love you,
Helen, and I am so honored to be your husband." "And Helen,
over to you." "I
I don't know how I will top that,"
Helen chuckles back to him as she wipes a tear from her eye. "My entire adult
life, it seems, has had this one constant, and that is you, Adam. I fell for you
hard when we first got together, and I have been in love ever since. To point
where, for a while, I was doing things that made me not recognize myself, but
I always did it out of my love for you. To think that we have spent this life
together, and that we have built this family together, and I
I couldn't be
more proud of that. I am so proud and honored that I have spent my life loving
you, because you are the best man I know, and the best father I know. Together,
we have built this, and I am very much looking forward to us spending the rest
of our lives together." Adam smiles back to her as she wipes another
tear from her eye. "Alright, the rings please," the minister
says as Max pulls the rings out of his pocket and passes them to Adam. "Adam,
please repeat, I Adam, take thee Helen to be my wedded wife, in sickness, health,
richness, poorness and everything in between." " I Adam, take
thee Helen to be my wedded wife, in sickness, health, richness, poorness and everything
in between," Adam repeats the words as he slides the ring on Helen's finger.
"And Helen, please repeat, I Helen, take thee Adam to be my wedded husband,
in sickness, health, richness, poorness and everything in between." "I
Helen, take thee Adam to be my wedded husband, in sickness, health, richness,
poorness and everything in between," she says as she puts the ring on Adam's
finger. "By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband
and wife, you may kiss the bride," the minster says, as Adam leans in and
kisses Helen passionately on the lips, as the crowd stands and starts to clap
and cheer, thrilled that the couple has been married. Next on One Day
