The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino

Madeline sits at the bar of the restaurant with another martini in front of her. She just had a drink with Greg, who informed her that he was planning on leaving town once the trial is over. Madeline was surprised by his revelation but now that she has had time to think about it, she can understand why he would want to leave. After all, Kim is choosing to stay married to Robbie instead of going back to her former fiancé; this is the main reason she is suing Robbie because she felt like betrayed her and their marriage.

Moreover, she has now started to sleep with Tyler, as another way of her quest to get revenge against Robbie and Kim. Deep down, she still believes that Tyler might still have feelings for Kim, so she wants to keep him close so she can use that to her advantage, if and when the time arrives.

She finishes her martini and gets ready to leave as she has an early start at the hospital the following day. As she turns to leave, she can't help but see Meggan moving into the restaurant. She arches her eyebrow at the sight as she recalls Tyler telling her that he had slept with Meggan a few times.

"Meggan, good evening," Madeline says as she prepares to leave the restaurant. "How have you been?"

"I'm alright," Meggan replies to her quickly. "How are you?"

"I'm doing really well," Madeline tells her. "I have a new man in my life, and it has been wonderful."

Meggan chuckles back to her. "A new man, huh? Who is the lucky fellow?"

"Tyler Robertson," Madeline informs her as Meggan feels the blood drain from her face. "It's been such a pleasant surprise. Anyways, I hope you enjoy your meal, I have to get going."

"See you later," Meggan tells her as she quickly wonders why Tyler hasn't told her about his new lover and what this means about their romance.

The Barracuda Blue; Maui, Hawaii

The two men that Kent hired to ruin the Pink Roses launch, Cal and Denis, stand outside of the door where Stacey and Isabelle are finishing getting ready for the launch. They know that they have orders from Kent to ensure that the launch doesn't go off as planned, and they are minutes away from doing just that.

Denis moves to the door and is about to open it when they hear voices approaching. "Damn it," he says as he looks at his coconspirator. "Let's hide until who ever that is leaves?"

Cal moves past him and opens the door to a storage closet. Both men quickly move inside and leave the door slightly ajar so they can watch what is unfolding.

Jacob moves up to the door of the suite where Stacey and Isabelle are and knocks on it. The door opens and the men watch as a woman leaves and walks away with Jacob.

"Come on," Cal whispers. "The girl; she's alone now. This is our chance. We have to hurry before someone else comes and interrupts us."

"Oh Elyzabeth, I'm glad I ran into you," Orvilla tells her niece, who is grabbing another glass of champagne from one of the waiters that is circling the launch party.

Lyzz turns and sees her Aunt and forces a smile on her face. She knows that they have never been close, but Orvilla has been her mother figure for years because her own mother, Kymblerynn, abandoned them after her father died years ago.

"You were looking for me? What did I do wrong?" Lyzz asks her as she takes a sip of her champagne.

Orvilla chuckles back to her. "You've done nothing wrong sweet girl," Orvilla replies to her. "I…I actually wanted to thank you."

"Thank me? Goodness, that doesn't happen every day," Lyzz quips back to her. "What are you thanking me for?"

"This gala," Orvilla takes a slow sip of her champagne. "It wouldn't be happening had you not presented the opportunity to me. And based on the reception thus far, I think it will do wonders for the resort. The Barracuda Blue will, once again, be on the tip of everyone's mouths."

"I am glad that I could help," Lyzz replies to her quickly. "But the truth is, I wasn't doing it for you or the Barracuda Blue; I was doing it for Cole, he and I go way back and he's one of my best friends."

"Careful my dear niece," Orvilla warns Lyzz. "If you keep talking about Cole Rockwell that way, your fiancé, Ash, might get jealous."

"I just got a text message from Isabelle," Natasha looks over at Mac as they move behind a large podium, where they will make an announcement about the Pink Roses launch. "She's only a few minutes away from being ready for the launch."

"Oh fantastic," Mac smiles back to her. "That means, we are right on schedule."

"Exactly, and the party will be taken into another level," Natasha tells him. "The excitement the diamonds will bring will be out of this world."

"They will be," Mac chuckles back to her. "My team created something so magnificent that they will all take the guests breathes away."

"And put our companies on top of the world," Natasha giggles back to him.

"You, uh, didn't say much after I revealed my feelings towards you," Sophie tells Max as she moves a piece of her hair behind her ear as she recalls admitting to Max that she has a crush on him. "I hope I didn't offend you?"

"Of course not," Max says back to her as he takes a sip of his champagne. "I am just not sure how I was supposed to respond other than saying thank you?"

Sophie uneasily nods back to him. "Yea, that's fair. I…I guess I was hoping you'd say it back?"

Max stops and looks at her for a moment. "You're very sweet, Sophie, and I enjoy spending time with you," Max tells her quickly.

"Why do I get the feeling there is a but coming?"

Max chuckles. "But," he looks into her eyes. "We are in very different places of our lives, you know? You're just out of college and I, I have a lot of life experience. That's the polite way of saying I'm older than you," he winks. "It's not to say that we can be friends and colleagues, but I think anything romantic is off the table. I…I hope that's okay?"

Sophie gulps heavily as she feels her heart break inside her chest. "Yea, it's cool. Friends and colleagues it is."

"Why did you want to see me before the launch?" Isabelle asks Jacob as they move into the foyer of the Barracuda Blue. Isabelle was moments away from leaving her suite to go to the party to start the official launch of the campaign when Jacob came to her door and asked to see her. "I shouldn't be too long; Mac and Natasha, they are waiting for me."

Jacob smiles back at her as he grabs her hands and looks into her eyes. They both get caught up in one another's eyes that they don't notice Cassie emerge in the foyer. Cassie, seeing the two of them, ducks behind the bar so they can't see her, but she can listen in on their conversation.

"I won't keep you long, I promise," Jacob replies to her. "I…I just wanted to tell you that you look absolutely beautiful tonight."

Cassie feels her blood start to boil as she listens to Jacob compliment the woman that blackmailed her into leaving Twin Peaks.

"Thank you," Isabelle blushes back to him. "This dress, it is incredible."

"You're incredible," Jacob leans and kisses her on the lips. "And you're going to be the star of the show! I am so proud of you."

Isabelle pulls him into a hug and they hold each other. "This is exactly what I needed to hear before the launch, so thank you Jacob. Thank you so much."

Meanwhile, outside the suite, the two thugs that Kent hired rush to the door. They look at one another before they open the door using a keycard that Kent managed to steal from the front desk clerk. They move inside and see Stacey in the other room.

"Is that her?" Cal asks quickly.

"Yea, it has to be," Denis replies. "Kent said she was a tall, dark haired beauty; that woman fits the bill."

"Alright, you grab the girl, and I'll grab the diamonds; Kent said the safe would be open because they are getting ready for the launch."

They nod at one another before the one man rushes into the other room, causing Stacey to gasp back at him.

"Who are you? And what the hell do you want?" Stacey asks him, trying to put a brave face on, even though she is terrified.

"You're coming with me," Denis sneers as he moves closer to Stacey. "Don't try to make this harder than it has to be okay? Because, I'd hate to hurt you pretty lady…"
