Previously on One Day at a Time
- Andy dumped Nicholas and told him he needed space as he was struggling with his sobriety. Nicholas suspected that Clayton was alive
- Isabelle realized that Stacey and the Pink Roses Diamonds were missing. Stacey, meanwhile, was tied to a chair in another suite at the Barracuda Blue
- Cassie continued to watch Jacob from afar
- Lukas asked Simona to get Sergio to leave Twin Peaks
- Eva told the Robertson's that Victoria would be a good fit at the company unknowing that Victoria was planning to use her spot to get Leah to support her marriage

The Sugarbowl

Simona sits in the back booth with a decaf latte in front of her while her brother, Sergio, has an iced mocha in front of him. They are catching up with one another, which Simona meant to do earlier in the day, but she was incredibly busy at the police station. In her mind, she can't stop thinking about the fact that Lukas asked her to get her brother out of town.

"How was work today?" Sergio asks his sister before he takes a sip of his drink.

"Busy," she chuckles to him. "This is a small town, but you'd be surprised how many pending cases I have."

"Solve any lately?"

Simona shoots him a look of disapproval. "I'm working on many cases and getting closer," she tells him quickly. "What's going on with you? Do you know how long you will stay in Twin Peaks?"

"I haven't decided yet," Sergio admits to her. "I'm…I'm enjoying my time here," he says as he thinks about how close he and Donovan have gotten over the last few weeks.

"I'm glad," Simona replies to him. "I…I need to ask you something and I need you to be honest with me."

"Of course, hermana."

"What is going on with you and Donovan Moretti?" Simona asks him.

"Me and Donovan?" Sergio asks her in surprise. "Why do you ask?"

"It's…well, I am just curious. I've been in this town for a long time now, and Donovan, he has a sorted history."

"Don't we all?" Sergio chuckles back to her. "Look, Donovan and I, we are getting closer, but I don't know what will happen, but I'm enjoying his company."

"Do me a favor?" Simona reaches over and grabs his hand. "Be careful, okay? The last thing I want is for my baby brother to get hurt."

The Young Mansion

Andy opens the trunk of his BMW and places his suitcase in it before he slams it closed. He moves to the driver's door and prepares to open it when he looks back at the Young mansion and sees the front door open. Nicholas emerges and rushes towards Andy, which makes him sigh.

"Andy, wait, please!" Nicholas rushes closer to the vehicle. Nicholas can't believe that Andy just ended their relationship because he is struggling to stay sober. This also came just after Nicholas shared his theory that Clayton might be alive.

"Nicholas," Andy sighs as they come face to face. "Please, you have to give me this time that I need."

"I…I love you," Nicholas tells him as he grabs his hand. "Let me help you through this? Please, I'm pleading with you; don't let this end our relationship."

"I need this time and space," Andy says back to him quickly. "You…you have to give me this time, Nicholas. I can't risk my sobriety, I just can't. So please…respect me and my decision at this time and let me go."

Nicholas moves back as Andy gets into his car and starts the engine. Tears swell into Nicholas' eyes as he can't believe that his relationship with Andy is over, again, because of Clayton Hughes.

The Tower's, Floor Eight; Victoria & Condo

Bryce moves into the living room of the condo that he lives in with Victoria carrying a bottle of red wine. He is hoping that he and his wife can have a nice, quiet evening alone together, since they haven't been able to do that for a while.

"I got a bottle of pinot noir, I hope that's okay?" Bryce asks her as he sets the bottle down on the coffee table and Victoria looks up from her phone.

"That sounds perfect," Victoria tells him. "It's been too long since it's just been just the two of us with a bottle of wine."

"I was thinking the same," he chuckles to her as he pours two glasses of the red liquid before he passes Victoria a glass. "What should we drink too?"

"To us," Victoria looks at her husband. "I think we are in a very good place again, Bryce, and I couldn't be happier about that."

"I should thank you," Bryce looks back at her as he looks into her eyes. "Because you were able to find it in your heart to forgive me."

"It is because I love you," Victoria purses her lips together before she leans over and kisses him.

They part ways and Bryce takes a sip of his wine. "I just wish my mother would come around; I keep telling her that if she wants to have a relationship with me, she has to accept you."

"I wouldn't worry about that," Victoria uneasily grins back to him, knowing that she has a plan in place to ensure Leah is forced to accept her in Bryce's life. "I think Leah will come around to us being married; in fact, I think that will happen sooner than later."

Robertson Enterprises

Eva opens the door to the main office at Robertson Enterprises and moves inside as she sees Tyler about to pour himself a drink. She can't help but remember a few hours earlier she saw him, Leah, and Jeff at the Pink Flamingo and she suggested that Victoria would make a good board member at the company. None of them seemed enthusiastic about the idea, but Eva wants to still make one final pitch.

"That looks nice," Eva announces to him, as Tyler looks over with a smirk on his face.

"Eva, another visit," he chuckles to her. "I can get you a nightcap if you'd like?"

"I'd love one," Eva moves closer to him. "Especially if we can talk over the drink."

"Sure," Tyler replies to her as he pours another drink and then passes it too her. "What's going on?"

"Thank you," Eva accepts the drink and takes a sip of it. "This is about what I mentioned to you, Leah, and Jeff at the restaurant earlier; about Victoria becoming a board member here at the company."

Tyler sighs uneasily to her. "I think we made it pretty clear that we weren't interested in that idea."

"I know what you said," Eva tells him. "But the truth is, Victoria is family, Tyler. And Robertson Enterprises, it's a family company. If you think about your father, I think Dominick would support this decision. As the new CEO, you should follow the same thinking path."

"I don't disagree with you that Robertson has always been a family business," Tyler says as he takes a sip of his drink. "But that doesn't mean that every member of our family should be working here. Victoria, she's only family by marriage, and she has a long-sorted history."

"I am also family only by marriage," Eva reminds him. "And I have done, in my mind, a lot of wonderful things to this company."

"I can't deny that."

"All I'm suggesting," Eva looks back at him. "Is let's put this to a vote? Let's get the board members together and decide in a formal fashion. If the answer is no, then I can drop this. But the opinion of every board member should be taken into account."

Tyler nods back to her. "Okay, okay," he smiles back to her. "I'll put this to a vote; we will let the entire board decide if Victoria can join us or not."

The Barracuda Blue; Maui, Hawaii

Quinn grabs another glass of champagne from one of the waiters that is circling at the launch party of the Pink Roses campaign at the Barracuda Blue. She is still in disbelief that she is at this party in this beautiful location.

While she takes a sip of her champagne, she can't help but wonder about her mother, Sabine, and how she is doing post her surgery. She recalls how her mother was scarred by some acid on a trip to Russia, so she went to New York to have facial surgery to remove her scar. She knows that her mother was feeling insecure about her scar, so she hopes that Sabine is able to get her face back and her confidence back.

"The moment you get back to your normal, beautiful self, you can reunite with Mac," she whispers to herself as she looks over at the owner of Rockwell Mining, who is standing next to Natasha. "You two belong together, I know that mother. I just hope this all works out for you."

In the dark suite, Stacey remains tied to a chair. Her eyes finally start to open slowly. Her head rolls around before she finally realizes that she's been kidnapped. She looks around the room, trying to figure out where she is.

Suddenly, it all comes back to her; she was helping Isabelle get ready for the launch when Jacob came to the door. She went out to see him for a few minutes, and while Isabelle was away, two men entered the suite and kidnapped her, and stole the Pink Roses.

She tries to scream, but the mouth gag prevents her from making a loud noise. Her motion, however, allows one of the thugs, Cal, to appear in the room.

"You're awake," he tells her as he moves up to her. "Sorry about the bump on your head. I told you not to fight me, but you kept trying to get away. I had no choice."

Stacey continues to squirm in the chair. "Okay, okay," he whispers to her as he bends down and looks her in the eyes. "I'll give you some water, but if you scream, I'll knock you out again, okay?"

Stacey nods back to him and he pulls her mouth gag down. "Here drink this," he says as he puts a bottle of water to her lips.

"Please," Stacey pleads with him after she swallows the water. "I'm a very wealthy woman. If you need money, I can get you as much as you want. Just…just let me go?"

"Sorry beautiful," Cal replies to her. "We have a job to do, and you are a key role in that. Because, you see, you being in here, means the launch won't go off as planned."

"The launch?" Stacey asks him in confusion. "Wait, you think I'm the lead model? You're wrong! I'm not the model! I'm not the woman you wanted to kidnap!"

"Is that so?" he asks her back with a chuckle. "I guess any prisoner is better than no prisoner," he tells her as he puts the gag back over her mouth. "Now, keep it down."

Stacey squirms in the chair, wondering how she is going to get out of this jam.

Natasha approaches Mac, who is standing behind the podium on the pool deck as the official launch of the Pink Roses is about to happen. Natasha, still, wonders why Isabelle is not there as she is a key part of the launch.

"Hey, we are about to begin," Natasha says to Mac as she arrives at the podium. "Where is Isabelle?"

Mac shrugs back to her. "I assumed she was with you?"

"I'm here," Isabelle announces as she approaches them. "But I have bad news."

"Bad news?" Mac asks her quickly as he and Natasha share a look of concern. "What is going on?"

"Stacey and the diamonds…they're missing!"

"Missing? What the hell do you mean by that?" Natasha asks her in a panic.

"Just what I said," Isabelle replies to her. "Stacey and the diamonds are missing and I have no idea where they are."
