Theme song: "Like a Saviour" Ellie Goulding
Previously on One Day at a Time - At the Pink Rose launch party, Sophie
was shot - Cory and Penny made love after she ended her relationship with Gordy -

was upset to learn that Lukas asked Simona to send Sergio back to Mexico -
Madeline and Tyler grew closer as she plotted to use him to break up Robbie and
Kim's marriage - Robin overheard Antonio talking about the plane crash but
he covered Twin Peaks General Hospital
The clicking
of the clock in the waiting room sounds like a loud drum in Natasha's ear as she
waits for news on Sophie. After her daughter was shot in a spray of bullets at
the Pink Roses launch in Maui, Natasha had Sophie flown back to Twin Peaks so
she could be with friends, family, and a doctor that Natasha trusts, which is
Shane. As soon as they arrived in Twin Peaks, Shane immediately started
to look after Sophie, and now, Natasha is waiting to hear some news about her
daughter. She can't help but shake this sinking feeling, however, even though,
she is trying to stay positive. "I
I wish Cory was there,"
she whispers to herself as she opens her phone and looks at a picture of her,
Cory and Sophie from a few years earlier. "You would be strong for our daughter,
Cory. Just make sure you do me a favor, okay? And make sure that she stays here
with me. I'm
I'm not ready to lose her, not yet." A tear falls
down her cheek as she looks at the picture again and she runs her finger over
Sophie's face. "My beautiful baby girl," she says as another tear falls
down her cheek. "When you pull through this, I will do everything in my power
to ensure you and I get back on solid ground. This fighting, it will end. We will
become the family that we should be." She swipes the pictures on
her phone and then sees a picture of herself, Robbie, and Bob. "Oh Daddy,"
she cries to the picture. "You and Cory, you have to ensure that Sophie doesn't
die. I
I can't lose my baby girl. I can't!" | |

Rock Casino
Donovan sits at a table with a light breakfast in front
of him. He wanted to grab a quick bite to eat before heading into Robertson Enterprises
for the day, but his mind is really on the events that transpired the night before;
he and Sergio had a drink, where Sergio admitted that Lukas had reached out to
Simona to see if and when he was going back to Mexico. Donovan told Sergio that
he had no idea what Lukas was thinking, and then Lukas arrived at the restaurant,
where he and Sergio had a heated exchange. "Why can't anything be
simple around here?" Donovan asks himself as he takes a sip of his coffee.
"Lukas, suddenly, wants us to get back together after months of being at
odds? It doesn't make sense." "Talking to yourself?" Lukas
asks with a sly grin as he comes up to the table, after he saw his estranged husband
in the restaurant. "Lukas? What are you doing here?" "By
the looks of it, the same thing as you, I wanted to get some breakfast before
I spend the afternoon with Olly." "That sounds nice."
"You're welcome to join us if you have nothing else to do."
"I am afraid I can't," Donovan tells him as Lukas sits across from
him. "I have to get to the office; I have a million things on my desk."
"Ah, well, another time then?" "What is this, Lukas?"
Donovan asks him quickly. "What?" "This, between
you and me right now?" Donovan asks him again. "For months, you have
blamed me for Jasper kidnapping Olly, and now, because I'm seeing someone new,
someone who is honest, caring, and hot as hell, you are trying to reconnect with
me? What gives?" Lukas uneasily chuckles back to him. "Uh, well,
I guess us working together in Mexico to save our son from our former nanny has
made me realize that we are a good team, Donovan. Is it so bad that I want my
husband?" "It's just
it's too little, too late, Lukas,"
Donovan looks back at him sternly. "In fact, I have something for you."
Lukas arches his eyebrow as Donovan pulls out an envelope from his briefcase.
"These are for you." "What are they?" "The
divorce papers," Donovan looks at him. "I signed them; I suggest you
do the same because, Lukas, we are over. For good this time." ***
At another table, Robin sits with a large latte at a table as her mind is
racing about the fact that she recently overheard Antonio talking on the phone
about Cory's plane crash. When she confronted him about what she heard, Antonio
claimed that he had hired a PI to look into the crash to see if he could uncover
any more details on the crash, which he didn't uncover, which is why he didn't
tell her about it. While the story makes sense, she can't help but wonder if there
was something more than he isn't telling. She just has this feeling in the pit
of her stomach that something more is going on. "You look a million
miles away," Antonio tells his fiancé as he approaches her table.
"Good thoughts, I hope?" "Antonio, good morning,"
Robin replies to him as she takes a sip of her latte. "I guess I do have
a lot on my mind." Antonio sits next to her, wondering if he has
done enough to cover his basis with what Robin heard on the phone. "I hope
that this isn't about you and I? I hope that you and I are in a good place?"
Robin sighs back to him. "I'd like to think so," Robin admits back
to him. "But I guess I have to know something." "I'll tell
you anything you want," Antonio tells her. "You mean the world to me."
"Then be honest with me," Robin looks back at him with intent. "Is
there something else you're not telling me? You already kept the fact that you
had Cory's plane crash investigated; what else are you hiding from me?"
Antonio gulps as he looks back at her, forcing a smile on his face. "Absolutely
nothing," he tells her. "You know everything else there is to know,
I promise." Robin finds herself nodding back to him. "Okay,
I'm going to believe you, but I hope that you're being honest with me, Antonio.
Because I won't have my fiancé lying to me, that is something I will not
tolerate." ***
Tyler sits at the bar of the restaurant
having some breakfast before he plans on heading into Robertson Enterprises. His
mind is thinking about the previous night when he held an emergency board meeting
at the company to see if Victoria should have a position at the company; to his,
and Leah's surprise, Paige voted in favor of Victoria being brought into the mix.
Thankfully, however, Madeline was able to come to his place and make him feel
comfortable. "Tyler, hi," a voice calls out from behind him.
He turns around and sees Kim moving up to him. "Morning," he
says back to her. "My news feed was filled with the drama that happened at
the launch in Maui; how are you doing?" "I'm fine," Kim
tells him. "We are still waiting to hear about Sophie; she was shot. I'm
just here to get some breakfast for Natasha and Robbie while we wait to hear about
her." "For what it's worth, I'm sorry that this happened. I
didn't want your launch to be a success, for obvious reasons, but I didn't want
anyone to get hurt." "I get it, and thank you," Kim smiles
back to him. "I suppose you have Madeline to help you these days, huh?"
Tyler chuckles back to her. "Madeline and I, we are growing closer, yes.
Why? Does that bother you?" "Of course not," Kim gulps
back to him. "It's just
interesting considering her history with Robbie
and I, that's all." "Trust me, Madeline's history with you and
Robbie is the very last thing on my mind," Tyler winks back to her. Twin
Peaks General Hospital
Robbie steps off the elevator in the hospital
and starts to move towards the waiting room, where Natasha is still eager to hear
an update on Sophie. In his hand, he has some coffees from the Sugarbowl, as they
can't stomach to have another coffee from the cafeteria. As he moves past
the nurses station, Madeline looks up and sees her former husband walking by.
"Robbie, you're back from Hawaii." Robbie stops and looks back
at Madeline. "I am," he tells her. "I don't know if you heard,
but the launch was chaos. Sophie, my niece, was shot. We are waiting to hear how
she is doing." "My God," Madeline gasps back to him. "I'm
sorry to hear that. If I can do anything, let me know." "I will,"
Robbie tells her. "Look, I'd like to get back to my sister and see how she's
doing." "Of course," Madeline replies to him. "And
Robbie, I am here if you need me, as a friend. Nothing more, though, because you
threw me a way, and don't forget that." "See, there you go,"
Robbie rolls his eyes back to her. "We try to have a civilized conversation
and you have to bring up our annulment. It's time you move on, okay?"
"Oh, I have," she purses her lips together. "Tyler keeps me
very busy at night." "Well great," Robbie gulps back to
her, hating that his rival is now sleeping with his former wife. "Excuse
me, if you will." The Davenport House; Chris, Trenyce, BJ, &
Albertinah's Home
"I have to admit, I am still reeling from this
entire story," Daisy admits to Trenyce and Cheresa as she pours herself a
cup of coffee in the living room of the Davenport house. Daisy has just learned
about Trenyce and Andrew's affair, which Chris also discovered the night before,
which is why Trenyce feels like her family might be in danger. She knows that
Antonio suggested that Andrew might be Albertinah's father but it is still a difficult
pill to swallow for her. "You and Andrew?" "It only happened
once," Trenyce sighs back to her Aunt, who can't help but realize that she
also has been intimate with Andrew. "And that one night might change my life
forever." "It's more than just about the affair," Cheresa
explains to her mother. "It is also the fact that Albertinah might not be
Chris' daughter. Andrew might be her father." "I can't even
think about that," Trenyce shakes her head back to her. "Chris is the
only father my little girl has never known. He has to be the father
he has
to be." "You know," Daisy grits her teeth together. "This
is all Antonio's fault; he is the one that put me and Andrew in the damn casino;
he is the one that got Andrew hooked on gambling; and he is the one that told
Andrew that he is likely to be Albertinah's father. Had that man not set all of
this into motion, this could have all been avoided." "I don't
disagree with you," Trenyce tells her. "But I have to take responsibility
for my actions, and so does Andrew. Antonio didn't make us sleep together that
night." "It still doesn't change the fact that Antonio is a
son of a bitch," Daisy replies to her. "He has caused us enough pain."
Before any of them can respond, the front doorbell rings. "I'll get it,"
Trenyce tells her family as she moves the living room and towards the front door.
She opens the door and is stunned to see Chris standing there. "Chris, hi."
"Trey," Chris looks back at her. "We have to talk, I have a
few things I need to get off my chest." Penny's Farmhouse; Holdenville,
Oklahoma
"You certainly worked my breakfast appetite up this morning,"
Penny chuckles as she kisses Cory as they move into the kitchen of her farmhouse,
fresh from making love to start their day. "How about I make some apple-cinnamon
flapjacks?" "That sounds great," Cory replies to her. "And
thanks for upstairs, by the way. That's the best way to start my day."
"Mine too," Penny winks back to him as she pulls out a mixing bowl
from her cupboard and Cory pours himself a cup of coffee. "I guess
I'll read the news while you make breakfast," Cory tells his lover as he
sits at the small table in the kitchen and opens is Ipad, while Penny continues
to make the food. As he's taking a sip of his coffee, however, Cory feels the
blood drain from his face. "My God." "What is it?"
Penny asks him in concern. "It's
It's Sophie, my daughter
"
Cory looks at her in horror. "She was
she was shot
My God! I..I
have to go home, Penny. I have to make sure my daughter is going to live."
