Twin Peaks General Hospital

"My God this waiting is killing me," Natasha groans as she paces back and forth in the waiting room of the hospital as she, Robbie, Kim, Jacob, and Max all wait for news on Sophie's status, as she was shot at the Pink Roses launch party. Natasha had Sophie flown back to Twin Peaks so Sophie could be closer to friends and family, and Shane could be the one to look after her daughter. "I need to know how Sophie is doing."

"I'm sure that they are doing everything they can," Jacob tells his mother. "And besides, Dad is the best doctor in the hospital; he won't let anything happen to Sophie."

"I agree with Jacob," Robbie tells his sister. "Sophie will be fine; they are probably just getting her stable."

"There was so much blood," Max loudly whispers. "And Sophie…she had been drinking at the launch party, I…I don't know if that made her blood thinner or what, but…I … I can't stop seeing all of that blood."

"Me either," Natasha puts her hand on his shoulder. "But thank you for everything you did after the shooting Max. I firmly believe that Sophie is still with us right now because of how quickly you acted."

Max uneasily nods back to her. "She has to be okay. She has to be."

Before anyone can say anything else, Shane comes into the waiting room. Natasha jumps to her feet and rushes up to him. "Shane, how is Sophie? How is my daughter?"

The River Rock Casino; Antonio's Office

"I have been thinking about something," Antonio tells Robin as he opens the door to his office, and they move inside. They just finished having breakfast together, where Robin asked her fiancé if he was hiding anything else from her; of course, Antonio covered and told her no, but he wants to ensure that she believes him.

"I'm all ears to hear what you've been thinking about," Robin chuckles back to him.

"I want to do something special for you, Robin, something that will prove to you how much you mean to me and that I am not keeping anything else from you."

Robin arches her eyebrow back to him. "I am not sure that is necessary but what did you have in mind, exactly?"

"An engagement party," Antonio reveals to her with a smile on his face. "I could throw it here, at the casino, and we could, I don't know, have it a masquerade ball?"

"That sounds like a lot of fun," Robin reveals to him. "I certainly wouldn't say no to a fun engagement party, Antonio."

"Perfect, leave the details with me and I'll plan a night you'll never forget."

Before Robin can respond, she gets an incoming text message. She pulls her phone out of her purse and immediately feels the blood drain from her face. "Oh my God," she gasps. "I…I have to go."

"What is it? What's wrong?"

"It's Sophie…she's…she's been shot," Robin explains to him. "I have to go to the hospital. I'll call you later, okay?"

"Sure, keep me posted, and Robin," he calls out as Robin turns back from the door. "Keep me posted, okay? I love you," Antonio tells her as Robin exits the office.

Meanwhile, in the Pink Flamingo, Paige sits at a table with a large coffee in front of her. She barely slept the previous night as her mind was racing over the fact that the previous night Tyler held a board meeting to put to vote whether or not Victoria should have a position at Robertson Enterprises. The voting came down to Paige, and she voted in favor of giving Victoria a position, which made both her uncle and her mother furious with her. However, Paige knows that Victoria told her that she would give Paige information that would prevent Dominick from remarrying Abby if she got her a job at the company, and that is something that she is banking on.

"I just have to make sure that I can get mom and uncle Tyler to understand why I did what I did," she whispers to herself. "But I can't tell them about my deal with Victoria; I have to come up with a reason that they will believe."

She takes a long sip of her coffee before she arches her eyebrow to herself. "I guess I can tell them that Eva had good points; it is a family company and Victoria is married to Bryce, who is really Noah. I…I still can't believe that Noah is alive, and that Ethan is my brother. My God, when I think back to marrying him last year…at least we didn't consummate the marriage."

"Anyways, I can't think of that," she tells herself. "I…I must get to the office. I must make my family understand why I did what I did.:

She stands up to leave, but just as she turns to walk from her table, she sees Ethan move into the restaurant. Immediately, their eyes lock and they look at one another, each gulping heavily.

Robertson Enterprises

Tyler paces back and forth in the main office at Robertson Enterprises as his mind is racing over the board meeting the previous night. He still can't believe that Paige voted in favor of giving Victoria position at the company; what's worse is that human resources is currently showing Victoria to her office. Everything is happening very quickly for him, and he has no idea how to stop this from spiraling out of control.

"You're going to burn a hole in the floor," Leah announces as she opens the door to the office. "Let me guess, you're wondering how we are going to do damage control after last night's vote?"

Tyler pauses and chuckles back to his sister. "That obvious, huh? I guess I am just trying to figure out what the hell Paige was thinking. How could she let Victoria into this company?"

"I wish I knew what my daughter was thinking," Leah replies to him. "Letting that menace into this company is not her brightest moment."

"What are we going to do, Leah? How can we keep Victoria at bay?"

"Well, the vote is done, so Victoria will be working here," Leah explains to him. "I suggest we give her very small projects, wait for her to screw up, and then vote her out again. We have to prove that she doesn't belong here."

Tyler uneasily nods back to her. "That could work," he tells his sister. "And in the meantime, as soon as Paige steps foot in this building, we need to find out how she could do this. There must be a motive, we just have to find out what it is."

Meanwhile, in the corner office, Victoria looks around with a grin on her face. She just finished getting a tour of her new office from the human resources personal, and she can't believe how lavish it is. She is still in shock that she even got this job; she knows that she asked Paige to get her a job here and in return, she would give her information to prevent Abby from marrying Dominick again. Victoria still has the footage she took of Ethan and Abby making love those weeks earlier, and now, she knows she can give it to Paige for her use.

"Wow, look at this place," a voice calls out from behind Victoria, who turns and sees Bryce standing there. "You've done well, baby."

"Thank you!" Victoria squeals to him. "I almost can't believe it myself! But I am so happy to be here."

"These are for you, by the way," Bryce says as he reveals a bouquet of red roses.

"Bryce! They are beautiful," Victoria takes the flowers and places them on her desk. She then leans over and kisses her husband on the lips. "Thank you so much."

"Of course, baby," Bryce grins back to her. "You have to know how proud I am of you for getting this job; you went after something, and you achieved it."

"I…I just hope your family sees it that way," she chuckles to him. "But in the meantime, I'm glad that you're here, Bryce. I really am."

Bryce leans in and kisses her passionately. "I wouldn't be anywhere else."

The Sugarbowl

"My head is spinning right now," Daisy admits to Andrew as they sit across from one another in the back booth of the coffeehouse, with some lattes in front of them. "You slept with my niece and might be the father of Albertinah? How did this happen? Why didn't you tell me, Andrew?"

Andrew gulps back to her before he takes a sip of his latte. "It happened once, and it happened before you and I got together in that way," he admits to her. "I'm not making any excuses, I know crossing that line with Trenyce while she was engaged to Chris was wrong; I feel awful about it, but Trey and I, we had this wild attraction that built for weeks, and it just…happened."

"I suppose I can understand that," Daisy tells him. "I mean, you and I started off that way as well, it was a slow build because of our mutual hatred for Antonio, and then one night, it just happened."

"I never wanted things to get so complicated within the family, but here we are," Andrew sighs back to her. "I…I have never seen Chris so mad before either. He punched me when he saw me."

"Chris has always had a temper, but I can also understand why he would do that," Daisy tells him. "I guess…I guess I'm left wondering about where we stand now, Andrew? What is going to happen with us?"

"If I am honest with you," Andrew looks back at her. "I don't know. All I know is that I have to find out if I am Albertinah's father; I have to find out if I gave that little girl life."

The Davenport House; Chris, Trenyce, BJ, & Albertinah's Home

"Alright, I got Daisy and Cheresa to leave, so we are alone," Trenyce announces to Chris as she moves back into the living room, having just seen her daughter off. She was talking about how much of a mess her life currently is because the truth about her affair with Andrew was exposed, when Chris arrived and asked her to talk. "Thanks for coming by."

"Like I said, I have a few things that I needed to say to you," Chris looks back at her. "You've really outdone yourself, haven't you?"

"I know what I did was wrong, Chris, you have to believe me," she replies to him quickly. "And it only happened once."

"Do you think it matters that it only happened once?" he grits his teeth back to her. "The fact that you lied to me for months about this, that's what really kills me."

"I know, I know!" Trenyce throws her hands in the air. "I screwed up, I really did. But please, please tell me that you can forgive me? Tell me that we can get past this?"

"I…I don't know," Chris sighs back to her. "Right now, every time I look at you, all I can see is you with him, and I don't know if that will ever go away."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"Please Shane, don't keep me waiting," Natasha eagerly looks at the doctor in the waiting room of the hospital. "How is Sophie?"

Shane sighs heavily before he looks back at Natasha. "I've been able to stop the bleeding for now, but the bullet is still lodged in her, so I have to take her into surgery."

"How long will the surgery last?" Jacob asks his father.

"Really depends on how much damage the bullet has done," Shane replies to them. "The longer the bullet remains inside, the damage it could potentially do, that's why this surgery is so key."

"Please Shane," Natasha lets a tear fall down her cheek. "Do everything you can to save my baby girl. Don't let her die!"

"I will do my best," Shane responds to her. "I'll be back with an update once the surgery is done."

He turns to leave just as a person, who was standing at the doorway of the waiting room, quickly rushes away. The person opens the door to a stairwell and takes off their sunglasses and large hat, revealing Penny's face.

"Cory? Where did you go?" she whispers, as Cory emerges in the stairwell. After he read about his daughter's shooting, he and Penny caught the first flight back to Twin Peaks, and now he is waiting to hear about Sophie's prognosis.

"I'm here," he tells her. "What did you find out?"

"The doctor is taking Sophie into surgery now," Penny explains to him. "It sounds like, otherwise, she's doing okay."

"Thank God," Cory breathes a sigh of relief. "Thanks for getting that information for me; because everyone thinks I'm dead, I…I have to have a low profile here."

Penny pulls him into a hug. "I'm here for you Cory; anything you need, I'm right here."
