Greg
sits at the window bar with a large coffee in front of him. While it is still
early in the morning, he just wrapped the night shift at the hospital, and he
must be back at work in a few hours. It is not always the ideal schedule, but
he knows that being a doctor has paid for his lavish lifestyle, and why he needs
the extra-large coffee. As he takes a sip of it, he turns his head and
sees Kim move into the coffeehouse. He feels his heart skip a beat at the sight
of his former fiancé. Despite everything that has happened, he realizes
that he does still care for her, which is why he has made the decision to leave
Twin Peaks once Madeline's lawsuit against Kim and Robbie is settled. After
Kim grabs her coffee, she moves to the coffee bar to add some cream and sugar
to her drink. When she goes to put a lid on the cup, she notices Greg sitting
at the window alone. She finds herself moving up to him, as she hasn't seen him
for some time. "Greg," she announces as she moves up behind
him. "How have you been?" "I'm surprised you care,"
Greg replies to her, before he immediately regrets his tone. "Sorry, I didn't
mean that the way it sounded; it's just, you made your decision, Kim."
"I know," Kim sits next to him. "And I am happy that I am married
to Robbie, but that doesn't mean that I don't care about you; you and I, we went
through a lot together, Greg." "And it still wasn't enough for
us to make it work," Greg sighs back to her. "The fact is, you were
always in love with Robbie; I was just a temporary placeholder." "I
am sorry," she sighs back to him. "For what it's worth, I never meant
to hurt you." "But you did," Greg replies to her quickly.
"And that's why I've made a decision." "What kind of decision?"
"After the trial," Greg looks back at her. "I'm going to leave
town. I need to have a clear break from this town and you." "I
wish you'd reconsider," Kim tells him. "But I get it, I really do. Like
I said, I am sorry Greg. I hate that it's come to this." | |

The Tower's; Floor One; Andy's
Condo
Andy slowly unlocks the front door to his condo and moves inside.
He takes a deep breath as he sets his keys down on the small table just inside
the door. He feels his heart racing as he hasn't been back to the condo in weeks,
but he wanted to come back and see if there were any more muddy footprints inside,
and if not, he would start the process of having his carpets cleaned. He
moves into the living room and can see the original footprints still on the carpet.
He shakes his head at the sight, still wondering what the hell happened. He bends
down and feels the dry, crusty, mud in the carpet before he stands up and turns
to move into the kitchen. Once he turns the light on in the kitchen, he
feels his palms of his hands start to sweat. "What the hell?" he asks
himself as he can see muddy footprints all over the cabinets. "Someone put
their shoes in mud and they put them all over the cabinets? Who the hell would
do this? What the hell is going on here?" One Day House
Nicholas sits behind his desk at the One Day House with a pile of work in
front of him. Instead of looking at the paperwork, however, Nicholas is glued
to his phone screen as he is watching the latest footage from Andy's condo from
the camera that he put in the living room. He recalls how he went back
to the Victors mansion to dig up the body of Clayton, because he thought that
he might be alive. To his surprise, the body was gone, which further cemented
his theory that Clayton is alive and stalking Andy. So, he put the camera in the
condo in hopes of catching Clayton in the act. He pauses the footage for
a moment and zooms in on something that he sees on the screen. Nicholas gets a
sly grin on his face at the sight: Clayton is standing in the kitchen of the condo,
holding what appears to be a shoe. "Got you, Clayton," Nicholas
says with a grin on his face. "You're alive and tormenting Andy."
The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino "How is Sophie
doing?" Antonio asks Robin as they sit across from one another in the restaurant
with a light breakfast in front of them. Antonio recalls how he suggested to Robin
that they throw an engagement party when Robin got word of Sophie's shooting.
She rushed to the hospital, where she has been ever since. Robin takes
a bite of her avocado toast before she looks back at her fiancé. "She
survived surgery, which is the good news. But she is still in the coma; the doctors,
they don't know if or when she will wake up." "My goodness,"
Antonio shakes his head back to her. "Such a tragedy for such a young girl
to be in this situation." "I know, I'm trying to stay positive
for Natasha, but I can tell that's wearing on her." "You're
a good woman for being there for her," Antonio smiles back to her. "Not
everyone would do that." "It's what Cory would have wanted,"
Robin tells him. "Despite him not being here, I can still do what I know
he would expect of me." "That's why I am so lucky that you're
marrying me," Antonio reaches over and grabs her hand. "Which, by the
way, can't happen soon enough." Robin chuckles back to him. "Before
the wedding, we have that engagement party, remember? How are those plans?"
"They are finalized," he reveals to her. "This weekend, we
will be here, at the casino, having the time of our lives at the masquerade ball.
And before you ask, yes, I did get you a costume; I wanted every detail to be
taken care of." "You really have thought of everything,"
she says in surprise. "This will be a night we never forget, I can feel it."
Twin Peaks Executive Hotel; Suite 2356
"How long do you
think we are going to stay in Twin Peaks for?" Penny asks Cory as she starts
to move some of clothing from her suite case into the dresser that is in the suite
that she rented. She had to rent the room in the hotel because Cory was still
worried that someone in Twin Peaks would recognize him and realize that he is
alive and well. "I am not sure exactly," Cory tells her as he
lays on the bed. "With Sophie in a coma, I don't think it's the best time
to leave. I
I need to be here for my daughter." "I can
appreciate that," Penny sighs back to him. "I can't imagine how worried
you are about all of this." "And that's why I can't leave,"
Cory replies to her. "I hope you understand. And don't worry, I will pay
you for the hotel. You won't have to fork out a dime." Penny chuckles
back to him. "I appreciate that; I certainly don't have the money to pay
for a fancy room like this for very long. But Cory, everyone here thinks your
dead. How long do you think you'll be able to sneak around and hide?"
"Not long," Cory says back to her. "And that's why you and
I, we are going to a party this weekend." "A party?" Penny
asks him in surprise. "Yea, an engagement party; it will be a masquerade
ball. So, once you're done unpacking, I'm going to need you to go shopping to
get us some outfits. If that's okay with you?" "Of course,"
Penny smiles to him as she leans in and kisses him. "Whatever you need."
Twin Peaks General Hospital
Paige steps off the elevator at
the hospital and starts to move towards one of the offices as she has a checkup.
She knows that it is nothing serious, but she thinks that it's always a good idea
to get regular checkups as she doesn't want anything to sneak up on her. Just
before she's about to turn to walk down a hallway, she happens to see Max moving
towards the waiting room. She freezes at the sight of her former lover as she
heard that Sophie was shot and Max was with her when it happened. She looks at
her watch quickly and realizes that she has a few minutes before her appointment,
so she starts to walk towards Max. "Max, hey, wait up," Paige
calls out as she rushes up to him. Max turns and sees Paige, pulling her
into a hug when she gets to him. "I heard about Sophie, how are you doing?"
They exit their embrace and Max looks back at her with a shrug of his shoulders.
"She's
still in a coma," he replies to her. "I can't bring
myself to leave the hospital though; I think that this is all my fault."
"No," Paige shakes her head back to him. "You didn't pull the
trigger, Max. You, from what I heard, saved Sophie's life after the shooting.
You're a hero." Max cuffs back at her. "You're sweet. How are
you doing? I didn't realize you were back in town." Paige sighs back
to him. "I'm back," she tells him. "But for reasons you might not
like." Max chuckles back to her. "Let me guess, this has something
to do with Dominick's engagement to Abby?" "I know that's why
we broke up, but I still feel the same way about my grandfather and Abby now as
I did back then; they shouldn't be married, and I will do whatever I can to stop
it." "You're persistent, I'll give you that," Max winks
back at her. "Good luck, I think you might need it." Dominick's
Townhouse
Dominick looks into the mirror in the large bedroom that
he shares with Abby and finishes buttoning up his shirt. He smiles to himself
as he realizes that he hasn't been this happy in a very long time, and he owes
a lot of that to Abby. He feels so grateful that sine he awoke from his coma,
his divorce from Eva became finalized and Abby said yes to his proposal. "Not
that I am a free man," he whispers to himself. "I can focus on planning
my wedding to Abigail and we can be as happy as we were before my coma."
Suddenly, he puts his hands down on the dresser in front of him to stop himself
from falling over. While he does, he shuts his eyes, and he can hear something
deep in his subconscious. Voices are yelling; the woman sounds like Abby, and
the other voice, he immediately knows to be his own. He opens his eyes
and looks into the mirror again; he can see small beads of sweat forming on his
forehead. "What
what were Abby and I fighting about? And why can't I
remember?" *** Meanwhile, in the living, Abby moves
up to the bar and starts to pour herself a cup of coffee when she hears the front
doorbell ring. She sets the coffee pot down and quickly moves to the door, where
she sees Ethan standing on the other side. She gulps as she had been trying to
avoid him since they gave into their desires and made love all those weeks ago.
"Ethan," Abby puts her hand on her hip. "What are you doing
here?" "Uh, Leah asked me to come and see Dominick this morning,"
he reveals to her. "I guess he hasn't been responding to her messages or
something." "Maybe that is because he is busy with me,"
Abby smiles back to him. "But you can come in, he should be downstairs at
any time now." "Thanks," Ethan says as he moves into the
living room and turns around to face her. "You
you're looking good,
Abby." "Ethan, come on, we can't do that," she whispers
to him. "We have to pretend that nothing happened." "I'm
trying," Ethan runs his hand through his hair. "But if I'm being honest,
I can't stop thinking about you, Abby." Abby looks back at him and
gulps as she knows she has also been thinking about him. "I don't care what
you have to do, Ethan, but get me out of your head. Our futures depend on it,
okay?" Twin Peaks General Hospital
Jacob slowly opens
the door to Sophie's hospital room and moves inside. He sits next to his sister,
who is still in a coma, and grabs her hand. He can't believe that his sister is
in this situation and he hopes that she will be able to come out of her coma soon.
"Hey Soph," Jacob whispers to her. "It's me, Jacob. We are
back from Maui now," he tells her. "The launch, it didn't go as we all
thought, mostly because of the violence that happened. You
you have to know
that we are all rooting for you, we are all praying for you, Soph. You have to
come back to us." Jacob feels his eyes swell with water as he kisses
his sisters hand. "Please don't leave me yet, Sophie. I
I need you so
much. Please come out of this coma and tell me one of your bad jokes? Please Sophie."
***
Cassie steps off the elevator and looks around. She is there
to support Jacob while Sophie is in her coma because she knows that he is going
through a very difficult time. As she starts to move towards Sophie's room, when
she sees Isabelle in one of the waiting rooms. Cassie sighs to herself at the
sight of woman who had been blackmailing her to stay away from Jacob. She finds
herself moving, quickly, to the waiting room where Isabelle is. Isabelle
turns when she hears someone move into the waiting room. She freezes when she
sees her rival approaching her. "What the hell are you doing here? I thought
I told you in Maui not to come back here, Cassie." "I know exactly
what you told me," Cassie purses her lips together. "Do you remember
that conservation we had at the foyer of the Barracuda Blue?" "I
remember it very well." Cassie chuckles back to her. "That's
good," she nods back to her. "Because, you said that you fell down the
stairs of the Calimo mansion that night; you told me that you would lie about
me pushing you and go to the police." "I mean it," Isabelle
glares back to her. "You best pack your bags and get the hell out of town
or you will be in jail." "I don't think so," Cassie looks
back at her with intent. "Because, what you don't know about that conversation,
is that I was recording it," Cassie reveals to her as Isabelle's eyes open
wider in shock. "The recording is on my phone, Isabelle, and I will use it
to destroy you. You will not blackmail me anymore, and I will not leave Jacob's
side, do you understand me?" "You won't get away with this!"
"I already have," Cassie chuckles to her. "Because if you say
anything to anyone, I will ruin you," Cassie threatens her. "I am holding
all the cards now Isabelle, and it's time that you play by my rules."
