The River Rock Casino

The casino has been transformed into the venue for Robin and Antonio's masquerade engagement party. Most of the games have been closed for the evening, but there are a couple of poker tables in the back that are still on-going. Waiters are circling with canapes and champagne, while there is a large bar open for guests to enjoy the drinks of their choices. And, finally, all the guests are wearing tuxedos or exquisite dresses with matching face masks, to hide their identities.

Robin, who is wearing a long gold gown, moves up to Dominick, who is grabbing two glasses of champagne, one for him and one for Abby. "Daddy, I am so glad that you came," Robin says as she pulls him into a hug, removing her face mask so she can see him.

"I wouldn't have missed this for the world, you know that," Dominick chuckles back to her. "This is some event, Robin."

"I can't take any of the credit for it," Robin informs him. "This was all Antonio's planning."

"You must make him a very happy man to go to all this trouble. You are happy as well, aren't you my beauty?"

"I am," Robin nods back to him. "For awhile there, I wasn't sure that I would ever be happy again. But, you know, Cory would want me to be happy. He would have wanted me to move on."

"That he would have," Dominick smiles back to her. "This is my first outing since coming out of the hospital, so I already got word from Tyler and Leah that they want to see me. But before the end of the night, promise me you and I will have a dance together?"

"At least one," Robin winks back to him.

Paige grabs another glass of champagne from one of the waiters that is circling the party and she takes a long sip of it. Her emerald green dress sparkles in the light as a man in a tuxedo and a black and silver mask approaches her. For a moment she wonders who the man is, as his build makes him look very muscular and lean.

"Having a good time?" he asks her before he takes a sip of his champagne, making Paige immediately gulp as she knows his voice to be Ethan's.

Paige, internally, scolds herself for thinking that Ethan is muscular, so she takes another sip of her champagne to try to calm her nerves. "I mean, the party is pretty lavish. Robin and Antonio, they didn't spare any expense, that's for sure."

Ethan chuckles back to her. "I suppose it doesn't hurt that he owns the venue."

"There's that too," she laughs back to him. "How about you? Having a good time?"

"So far," he tells her. "Wearing the masks, it kind of makes everyone invisible, you know? You never know who you will talk too until you actually make a connection."

"Good point, it might be a nice way to meet some new people."

"Is that your goal tonight? To meet some new people?"

Paige looks back at him and quickly remembers how Victoria told her that she would give her the information she has that will break up Abby and Dominick tonight at the party; while meeting someone new might be nice, Paige knows that she has to focus on the task at hand.

"It is not my main goal tonight," Paige replies to him. "I'm here to uncover a truth that needs to be revealed, and I will not stop until I find out exactly what is going on."

"You seem nervous about something, are you okay?" Bryce asks Victoria as they walk up towards the front door of the casino, about to arrive at the party.

Victoria, who is in a long red gown, looks back at him before she looks at her compact mirror to make sure her mask and make up are looking okay. She isn't used to wearing a mask to hide her identity, so she wants to ensure that she's looking perfect.

However, she also knows that she told Paige that she would reveal to her the information of how she could stop Abby and Dominick's wedding; she still has the video footage of Abby and Ethan having sex a few weeks earlier. However, if she does tell Paige the truth, she knows that she will no longer have any leverage over her, but she also knows that Paige already got her a job at Robertson Enterprises, so the rest is up to her.

"I'm fine," Victoria purses her lips together. "I guess it's just some excitement since we haven't been out together for some time."

Bryce chuckles back to her as he leans in and kisses her on the lips. "I can't wait to take you home and show you another kind of excitement."

"Is that so?" Victoria giggles back to him. "In that case, do we even have to go in?"

"Yes, we do," Bryce encourages her. "Maybe for one or two glasses of champagne?"

"Okay, I can get behind that. But after that, you have something to prove to me," she winks to him as they move towards the front door of the casino.

Madeline is wearing a short teal dress with a peacock themed mask as she stands at the bar orders herself a whiskey sour. She knows that she can't just drink champagne all night, or she will suffer the consequences the following day. After she gets her drink, she turns and looks at the guests filling the casino in their costumes. Everyone, in her opinion, looks so grand and like they are having a great time. Part of her hates that she isn't as happy as everyone else, but she knows that it is because she is still tormented inside from how Robbie annulled their marriage so he could be with Kim.

Even though she is planning revenge, and has filed a lawsuit against them, she realizes that she needs to do more to them. She wants to them to pay for making her feel this way. The more she has thought about what she could do to get back at them, the more she has realized that Tyler could be the key to ruining Robbie and Kim's union. While she has been sleeping with Tyler, she knows that she is only using him so he could be a pawn in her bigger scheme.

"But what is the next step?" she asks herself as she takes a sip of her drink. She turns her head and sees Tyler hugging Dominick, as it's his first outing since coming out of the coma. She, then, turns her head to the entrance and sees Robbie and Kim moving into the casino. Suddenly, an idea comes to Madeline's head.

"That's it," she says as a sly grin creeps over her face. "I know exactly what I have to do, and I can do it tonight. The next phase of my plan starts tonight."

Lukas grabs a glass of champagne from one of the circling waiters and takes a sip. While he is enjoying himself, he can't help but remember the last time he was at a lavish party at the casino; it was for Roboto's Queen of the Night launch and Lukas was still having his torrid affair with Jasper. Not only that, but it was the night that Frederick reappeared and came back into everyone's lives. So much has happened since then, but he can't help but think about that evening now.

He turns his head and happens to see Donovan grabbing two glasses of champagne. Immediately, Sergio is moving up next to him and they are toasting one another. Lukas feels his blood boil when Sergio leans and kisses Donovan on the lips after their toast.

"I don't know what I have to do to get my husband away from you, but I am determined to not lose my marriage this way," he whispers to himself as he takes another hearty sip of his drink. "I will get you back Donovan, I just have to figure out a way how to make you realize that we still belong together."

Chris paces back and forth near the two open poker tables as his mind is racing about whether or not he should have attended the party tonight. While he appreciates the invite, he knows that he is dealing with a lot right now since the truth about Andrew and Trenyce's affair was exposed and there is a good possibility that Albertinah is Andrew's daughter, not his. The last thing on his mind is this lavish engagement party.

He stops pacing when he sees a woman wearing a long black dress approach him. She removes her black and red mask to reveal the face of Daisy. "Daisy, hey, it's Chris," he calls out to her.

"I thought it was you," Daisy replies to him. "It doesn't look like you're having a great time."

"What gave it away?"

"You're pacing in the back of the casino where there are no other guests?" she chuckles back to him. "Honestly, I don't blame you. The fact that Antonio is getting engaged is nothing something that I want to celebrate either."

"I want him to pay," Chris grits his teeth back to her. "Because what you said the other day at the Sugarbowl, I agree with you. Antonio was a key player in this mess and he should suffer the consequences."

"I don't disagree with you at all," Daisy nods back to him. "Beyond that, have you thought about how you're going to handle your marriage to Trey? Do you think you can forgive my niece?"

Chris sighs back to her heavily. "I…I don't know," he admits to her. "It's still too raw for me to handle. So right now, the answer is no. I don't think I can. And that's something that Trenyce is going to have to accept."

Trenyce grabs a glass of champagne and takes a sip of while her light pink dress glitters in the lights of the party. She wasn't sure if she should show up at the party tonight, but once she realized that she might be able to corner Antonio, she realized that she couldn't give up the chance to give him a piece of her mind since she believes that he was the one that planted the bug in Andrew's head about him being Albertinah's father. Now, her entire life is up in arms because her affair with Andrew was exposed.

"Don't you look beautiful tonight," Andrew says as he comes up to her, also carrying a glass of champagne in his hand.

Trenyce feels her covered cheeks flush by his comments. "Thanks Andrew, but flattery will not get you anywhere right now. I…I can't believe the mess that our life is."

"I went to see Albertinah the other day," Andrew reveals to her. "For the first time since she was born, I held her thinking that she might be my daughter. This…this is surreal, Trenyce."

"Chris is her father!" Trenyce hisses back to him. "He is the only father that she's ever known!"

"Because of all of the secrets and lies!" Andrew tries to not to raise his voice back to her. "We have to figure out the truth, Trey. We have to find out, once and for all, if I fathered your little girl."

"And until then, Antonio needs to pay for what he has done," Trenyce glares back at him. "That son of a bitch has interfered for the last time."

Robin moves up to Antonio, who is wearing a tuxedo and a bright blue mask, and wraps her arms around him.

"Having fun?" he chuckles to her as he twirls her around while she giggles back to him.

"I'm having the time of my life," Robin tells him as they stand facing together. She leans in and kisses him. "Thank you for doing this for me, for us."

"I wouldn't have had it any other way," Antonio replies to her. "You're worth everything and so much more."

"And that mask, it is so unique. It's something else," Robin notes back to him.

"I wanted something a little out of the ordinary," he tells her. "But enough of that; let's get another glass of champagne and see everyone that has come to celebrate us tonight."

In a back room, Penny takes a sip of her champagne while she peers out into the casino. She is waiting for Cory to finish getting ready before they will enter the party. She just hopes that he knows what he is doing; with Sophie still being in a coma, Penny knows that Cory will have to reveal himself sooner than later, and his plan was to do it at the party. She just hopes it all goes well.

"Hey, I'm ready, what do you think?" Cory announces as he moves into the space from the washroom.

Penny turns and sees Cory standing there; he's wearing the exact same costume as Antonio was earlier. "Wow, you look incredible!" Penny tells him. "And that mask I found, it's so unique!"

"Yes, it is," Cory chuckles to her. "Come here Penny," he says as pulls her into a hug. "Are you ready for tonight? Because it's going to change our lives, forever."

Penny uneasily chuckles back to him. "I'm as ready I'll ever be; the question is, are you ready? Are you ready to go back to your old life?"

Cory uneasily sighs back to her. "As ready as I'll ever be," he tells her. "Come on, let's go get a champagne before the fun begins."
