Twin Peaks General Hospital

"I still can't believe that you're next to me," Sophie tells Cory as he sits next to his daughter in her hospital room. Sophie is still in a state of disbelief that her father is next to her; for months, she, like everyone else, believed that he died in the plane crash last year. The fact that he is back means more than she can explain because she missed him so very much. "I was devastated when I thought you had died."

"I know baby," Cory says back to her. "I hate that it took me so long to come back to you and everyone that loves me in Twin Peaks."

"I know that you said you had amnesia after the plane crash," Sophie replies to him. "But once you got your memory back, why didn't you come rushing home? Why did you wait until you heard about my shooting to come back?"

Cory sighs back to her as he recalls learning about Robin's engagement to Antonio, which prompted him to stay on Penny's farm. "It's a long story, I guess," he admits to her. "I guess the short version is that I really thought that me staying away was best for everyone; the last thing I wanted to do was create more drama or chaos."

Sophie shakes her head back to him. "The last thing you create is chaos," she tells him. "I love you, so many people love you."

"I love you too," he smiles to her. "But I'm not sure about the drama part. I mean, look at what happened at Robin and Antonio's engagement party."

Sophie arches her eyebrow back to him. "What happened?"

"You haven't heard?" Cory asks her as she shakes her head back to him. "Antonio, he was shot in his office. He's dead, Sophie."

Sophie gasps back to him. "What? My God…poor Robin. I guess that is what Leah was talking about when she was here before you revealed yourself to us."

"Yea, it's crazy to think that someone shot him in cold blood."

"I'm just so glad that I was able to survive my shooting."

"You and me both," Cory grabs her hand and kisses it. "And Soph, I promise you, I will never leave you again, okay? I'm back and I'm here to stay."

"That's music to my ears, Daddy," Sophie smiles back to him.

The Sugarbowl

"Thanks again for helping me with Natasha, Leah, and Sophie learning about Cory," Robin looks over at Penny as they sit across from one another in the back booth of the coffeehouse with two cups of java in front of them. Robin knows that Penny is the one that texted both Leah and Natasha and asked them to go Sophie's hospital room; because they hadn't met Penny before, the request came from an unknown number, and so it didn't set them off that something was going on before they got there. At least, they wouldn't suspect that Cory was alive.

"It was my pleasure," Penny smiles back to her. "Cory and I, we got rather closer while he stayed with me on my farm. He helped me out a lot, so I'm glad to return the favor."

"You two grew closer, huh?" Robin asks with an arched eyebrow, wondering how close they have become.

"Yea, very," Penny nods back to her. "He helped me with the animals, and the hay, all that fun farm stuff."

Robin chuckles back to her. "I…I can't imagine Cory on a farm," she admits to her. "He's always been a city guy."

"I see that side of him now that he's here, in Twin Peaks," Penny tells her. "But you know, once he got his memory back, he did mention you."

"He did?"

"Of course," Penny says. "He said that you two were very close before the plane crash."

"Then why didn't he come back? Sorry, I should be asking Cory these questions."

"It's fine," Penny waves her hand back to her before she takes a sip of her coffee. "He, actually, saw your engagement announcement to Antonio; that's when he decided it was best he stayed away. That is, until, he learned about Sophie's shooting."

"I wish he had come back sooner," Robin admits to her. "Because then, maybe, just maybe, Antonio wouldn't be dead."

"I'm sorry, I can't imagine what you're going through right now."

Robin shrugs back to her. "After learning that Antonio wanted Cory dead, I am not sorry that he's gone," Robin tells her. "He got exactly what he deserved; now, it's just about picking up the pieces of our lives and moving on."

"Does that mean you want to move on….with Cory?" Penny asks with an arched eyebrow.

"I…I have no idea," Robin admits to her. "I guess we have to find out."

The Calimo Mansion

A stunned Shane pours himself another cup of coffee at the bar in the living room of the Calimo mansion. Natasha just finished filling him in on the fact that Cory is alive and back in Twin Peaks; he is stunned that her former husband is actually alive, he believed, like everyone, that he died in the plane crash the previous year.

"I don't know what to say," Shane admits to her as he takes a sip of his coffee. "Cory is alive? I, uh, didn't see that coming."

"None of us did," Natasha replies to him. "But you should have seen the look on Sophie's face when she realized that Cory was standing in front of her. She was thrilled."

"I can only imagine," Shane says as he moves closer to the sofa, where she is sitting. "Wait, when Sophie said that Cory visited her while she was in her coma, was that true?"

"Yes," Natasha nods back to him. "Cory came back to town when he learned of her shooting, he visited our daughter while she was in her coma."

"This is wild," Shane chuckles as he sits next to her. "You, however, you seem very happy that Cory is back."

"Of course I am," Natasha smiles back to him. "We thought we lost him forever. I am thrilled that he is alive!"

Shane uneasily nods back to her. "Well, Nat, I guess I have to ask you then," he looks back at her. "Where does that leave us now that Cory is back? With your ex-husband alive and well, does that mean that you want to reunite with Cory? Do you want to have a future with him now?"

The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas, Donovan, Logan, & Olly's Home

"Ugh," Lukas groans as he reads the message on his phone, as Meggan moves back into the living room of the lavish estate that they live in together.

Meggan moves to the bar and pours herself a vodka, which further annoys Lukas. "What's wrong, brother?" Meggan asks him before she takes a sip of her drink.

"Besides the fact that you're ignoring my request to stop drinking?" he asks her as he stands up and faces her. "It's Donovan."

"What about your husband?" Meggan asks him, not giving his comments about her drinking any attention.

"He's on a date…with Sergio," Lukas sighs back to her. "I just texted him to see if he wanted to have lunch with me and Olly, and he told me he is with Sergio."

"And you had hoped that you two would reunite after everything that has happened with Olly the last few months?" Meggan asks him with a sly grin on her face.

"Is that so wrong?" Lukas asks her. "I mean, we aren't officially divorced yet, so if we could put our marriage back together, this is the perfect time. I…I just hate that he's already with someone knew. It sucks."

"You want my opinion?" Meggan asks him as she takes another sip of her drink. "If you want your marriage, then you have to fight for it. Don't let Donovan slip away if you want him, Lukas."

The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino

"I'm glad that we were able to reschedule our date so soon after the engagement party," Donovan smiles over to Sergio as they sit across from one another in the crowded restaurant, since it is peak lunch time. Donovan recalls how he and Sergio were attending Robin and Antonio's engagement party together, when he had to leave early because Olly had come down with a fever and was taken to the hospital. "I still don't like that I had to leave you at the masquerade ball alone."

"Don't sweat it," Sergio takes a bite of his steak frites before he looks back at his lover. "You're a father, your son has to come first, I understand."

"I don't know how I got so lucky," Donovan winks back to him. "You're an amazing guy, Sergio."

"I think the same of you, Donovan."

"What do you say we wrap this up and head back to your hotel?" Donovan suggests to him quickly. "I could use another protein."

Sergio chuckles back to him. "I like how you think."

They start to stand up to leave when Sergio's phone starts to ring. He pulls it out of his pocket and looks back at the screen and arches his eyebrow. "I have to get this, it's Simona," he looks at Donovan, who stops himself from leaving. "Heremana, como esta?" he answers his phone. "Si, si…I'll be right there."

Donovan looks back at him with an arched eyebrow. "What's going on with your sister?"

"She needs my help with Antonio's murder case," he explains to her. "I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to take a rain cheque."

"No, I get it, go, we can connect later," Donovan says before he leans over and kisses Sergio goodbye, feeling somewhat upset that he isn't going to have sex with his attractive man.

Twin Peaks General Hospital

Cheresa opens the door to the staff room of the hospital and moves inside as she is looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of her shift at the hospital. As she moves towards the fridge, she can't but notice Chantel sitting on the sofa looking forward in confusion. Cheresa arches her eyebrow at the sight, so she moves closer to the sofa.

"Chantel? Are you okay?" Cheresa asks her friend as she sits next to her.

Chantel looks back at her as she snaps back into reality. She had been taking a nap on her break; she had a dream of the night she gave birth to Olly, only when she delivered the child, she can't remember hearing him cry. She is trying to put the pieces together of what her dream meant.

"I…I'm fine?" she finally replies to her.

"You don't look fine," Cheresa admits to her. "Let me get you some water."

Cheresa stands up and moves to the sink, where she fills a glass with water and then moves back to the sofa and passes it to Chantel.

"Thanks," Chantel takes the glass and, immediately, takes a sip of the water. "I needed that."

"What's going on with you?" Cheresa asks her quickly.

Chantel shrugs her shoulders back to her. "I…I don't know," she admits to her. "But I am determined to find out."

The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino

At a back table of the restaurant, Robbie sits next to Kim while their lawyer, Josh Levitt sits across from them. They are planning for their upcoming trial as Madeline as sued them for seven million dollars as she doesn't feel like she received a fair divorce settlement from Robbie when he annulled their marriage so he could marry Kim when everyone believed that she was going to die.

"How does the case look?" Kim nervously asks Josh, before she grabs Robbie's hand in support.

Josh sighs back to her before he looks up from the file he is reading. "I have to admit to you both, Madeline does have a very strong case," he reveals to her. "You did say that you would remarry her, and then you decided to stay married to Kim."

"I thought Kim was dying!" Robbie protests back to him. "We should be celebrating the fact that she is alive!"

"I am not disagreeing with you," Josh replies to him. "I am just trying to brace you for the fact that Madeline could win this case."

"What about that there was no contract?" Kim asks the legal eagle. "I mean, there is no proof that Robbie said he would return to Madeline, right?"

"That's a good point," Robbie nods at Kim before he looks at the lawyer. "We can say that, can't we?"

"We could," Josh says. "But if Madeline's lawyer called you to the witness stand, you'd have to testify to that. You'd be under oath, Robbie. I wouldn't recommend lying, it would make things worse."

"You're making it seem like this is impossible," Robbie says in frustration. "I don't want to lose seven million dollars because I am with the woman I love!"

"Look, I think we have a very strong case as well," Josh informs them. "Madeline comes from a wealth family and she is a doctor, it's not like she needs the money. I am going to spin that she is out for revenge instead of wanting to do what is best for everyone."

"I like that," Robbie grins back to him. "We need more of that in this case, Josh. Because I will not lose this case, do you understand me? Madeline Wilkins will not win."

At another table, Paige sits alone with a martini in front of her. Her mind is racing about everything that has happened the last few days. At Robin and Antonio's engagement party, Victoria finally revealed to her the information that she has that cold help Paige stop Abby from marrying Dominick again; she knew that Abby and Ethan slept together. Moreover, Victoria provided Paige with video evidence of the affair.

On one hand, she knows that by telling Dominick about Abby's affair, she would be able to stop them from remarrying, which is what Paige wants; but, on the other hand, she knows that if she reveals that affair, her family will be in the middle of more turmoil, which she doesn't want to create.

She recalls how she asked Dominick how happy he was with Abby, and he admitted that he has never been happier. Those words have been sitting with Paige because she doesn't want hurt her grandfather, yet she longs for him to know the truth. Then, she ran into Ethan, and she could tell that he still cares for Abby, even though he tried to deny it.

She takes a hearty sip of her martini and then sighs again. "What am I going to do?" she asks herself as she continues to ponder her decision in her mind.

Dominick's Townhouse

Abby looks at herself in the mirror of the restroom that is just off her bedroom with Dominick. She's wearing a white laced teddy, hoping that tonight is the night that she can convince Dominick to make love to her. She puts her hand on her stomach, as she knows that she is pregnant. In her mind, she has been thinking about when she was pregnant with Sonny; she told everyone that Andrew was the father, not Max; Now, she wants to tell everyone that Dominick is the father of her unborn child, not Ethan. She knows that if Ethan is revealed to be the baby's father, her relationship with Dominick will be over, and she refuses to let that happen.

She takes a deep breath and puts a smile on her face. "Okay, time to work my magic," she whispers to herself.

She opens the door and moves into the bedroom, where she sees Dominick laying on the bed reading a magazine. She clears her throat to get his attention.

"Whoa, you look incredible Abigail," he says as he puts the magazine down.

"You like this?" she asks him as does a little twirl. "I put it on just for you, Dominick."

"I appreciate the view," he chuckles to her.

She crawls over the bed and moves up to him, where she kisses him passionately. "I want you," she whispers to him as their lips separate. "Make love to me, Dominick. Please, make love to me."

"Ugh," Dominick groans back to her as he moves her off of him. "I wish I could, Abby. The truth is, I'm not strong enough yet in my recovery. I'm still…well…I'm having performance issues still as well. The doctor said it will come back when I'm healed to 100%."

Abby rolls her eyes back to him, which he doesn't see. She knows that the longer she waits for them to make love, the more difficult it will be for her to pass the child off as his.

"You're not upset, are you?" Dominick turns to face her.

"Of course not," Abby forces a smile on her face. "Your health is always the top priority, Dominick. Just focus on getting well so you can be my lover again."
