The Park
Madeline
slowly walks through the park sipping her hot chocolate as the air is starting
to get a chill in it as winter is quickly approaching. As she walks, she can't
help but think about how Tyler asked her if she was the one who trapped him and
Kim together at Robin and Antonio's engagement party. She, of course, lied and
said it wasn't her, even though it was. The last thing she wants to do is reveal
that she is trying to reunite Kim and Tyler, as this is a part of her revenge
plan on Robbie. She freezes when she sees Robbie sitting on a bench that
overlooks the river. She realizes that she can use this as an opportunity to further
plant doubts in his mind about Kim and Tyler's relationship. "Beautiful
fall day, isn't it?" she asks as she moves to the bench and sits next to
him. "It is," Robbie replies to her. "I come here to think
when I need too." "What are you thinking about?" "It's
just work stuff," he reveals to her. "But look, I am glad that you're
here." "Why? What is going on?" she asks him. "The
night of the engagement party," Robbie looks back at Madeline. "You
kissed me; I
I need you to know that you can't kiss me anymore, I am married
to Kim, and we are very happy together." "You keep saying that,"
Madeline chuckles back to him. "But I wonder." "Why do
you wonder about that?" "Because," Madeline replies to
him. "Tyler and I, we've gotten close, and he told me that he was trapped
with Kim during the party. I
I think they grew closer than what either of
them are admitting to us, Robbie." Robbie arches his eyebrow back
to her. "What are you saying? You think Kim and Tyler are, what, having an
affair?" "I don't know," she admits to him. "I just
think that they have a lot of history and feelings for one another. Who knows
what is happening between the two of them? But I think something is happening.
I just don't know what it is." Roboto
Tyler steps off
the elevator at Roboto and takes a deep breath. He knows that he is on enemy territory,
but he also knows that the reason he is there is something that couldn't wait.
He makes his way to the main office, where he sees Kim sitting behind the large
desk typing into her laptop. "I hope you won't call security on me,"
he chuckles as he moves into the office. Kim looks up in surprise as the
last person she thought she would see at the company is Tyler. "Tyler, this
is a surprise," she stands up from behind the desk. "You know I won't
call security on you, but if Robbie or Natasha see you, I can't make any promises."
He chuckles back to her. "That's fair, I won't stay long, but I had to
see you." Kim moves closer to him. "Is everything okay?"
"Everything is fine," he replies to her. "I mean, as well as
to be expected after everything that happened the night of the engagement party."
Kim uneasily nods back to him as she recalls how he professed his love to
her while they were trapped in the boardroom together. "Look, Tyler, it's
fine," she says back to him. "What happened that night, it will stay
between you and me. I won't say anything to anyone about how you feel about me
or about how close we came to kissing. It's
it's water under the bridge."
"I wish it was that easy," Tyler sighs back to her. "The fact
of the matter is, I can't stop thinking about you, Kim. And that is a problem
because you're married to Robbie and I'm with Madeline. So, there's only one solution
to all of this." "What solution? What are you talking about?"
she asks him quickly. "We have to stay away from each other; we can't
be together anymore, Kim," Tyler tells her quickly. "This is the best
option for everyone." The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino
"I
can't tell you how pleased I am to hear that Sophie is improving," Penny
smiles over to Cory as they sit across from one another in the restaurant with
a light lunch in front of them. She knows that they returned to Twin Peaks once
Cory learned that his daughter had been shot and was in a coma; the fact that
Sophie is now awake and seemingly on the mend. "You have no idea
how relieved I am," Cory replies to her before he puts one of his French
fries in his mouth. "I was so scared that I was going to lose my little girl."
"That's behind us now," Penny tells him as she reaches over and
grabs his hand. "Everything is working out in your favor." "Your
support means so much to me." "Of course," Penny smiles
back to him. "I have to wonder, though," she continues to tell him.
"What does your future look like? Do you want to go back to the farm now?"
"Uh," Cory uneasily replies to her. "I don't think I can, Penny.
My family is here, I don't think I can leave my daughter again. I hope you're
okay with that." "I am," Penny says. "I have my neighbors
looking after things on the farm right now." "You could go back
if you want?" "I don't want too," Penny tells him. "In
case you haven't noticed, but I've become rather fond of you, Cory. I don't want
to lose that." Cory smiles back to her. He is about to say something,
but Penny leans across the table and kisses him on the lips. "This is where
I want to be Cory, with you," she tells him as their lips part. Robertson
Enterprises Victoria types into her laptop while she sits at her desk
in her office at Robertson Enterprises. Her mind is racing over Leah's recent
appeal to the board of directors regarding the missing funds that Victoria discovered
when she did a review of the business financials. Later, it was further discovered
that Leah is the one who authorized the funds to be moved from the account that
there were sitting in. Leah's pleads to the board fell on deaf ears as
even Tyler thought that Leah was the one that moved the funds. Now, Victoria is
writing an email to the board, stating that she, also, believes that Leah moved
the funds. As she types her email, she gets a sly grin on her face. "You
going to be in hot water for a very long time, Leah," she whispers to herself.
The Cascade Apartments; Chantel's Apartment
Chantel lays
on the small sofa in her living room with her eyes closed. She came home from
a shift at the hospital and laid right now as she was exhausted. Now, she is having,
another, dream about the night she gave birth to Olly, all those years ago.
A few days earlier, Chantel had another dream about giving birth, only when
Olly was born, she didn't hear him start to cry. Ever since that dream, Chantel
hasn't been able to think about anything else. This is, of course, on top of the
fact that she recently discovered that her and Olly don't share the same blood
type. Suddenly, she sits up on the sofa with light beads of sweat on her
forehead. She takes a deep breath as she tries to get her heart rate back down.
"Another dream," she whispers to herself. "And, again, Olly
wasn't crying when he was born. What are these dreams trying to tell me? What
happened the night I gave birth?" Twin Peaks Police Station
"I
got here as soon as I could," Cheresa rushes up to Chris, who is sitting
in an office at the police station. She got word that both Chris, and Andrew,
were brought into the station by Simona to question them about Antonio's death.
As soon as she learned about this, she raced to the station to see if she can
support in anyway. "How did it go?" "I haven't been questioned
yet," Chris admits to her. "Simona is with Andrew now; I guess I am
going next." "Are Trenyce and Daisy here?" Cheresa asks
him next. "No," Chris shakes his head back to her. "I didn't
want them to worry, and frankly, if Simona is going to question the two of us,
I am guessing that Trey and Daisy are next." "This is a mess,"
Cheresa sits across from him. "But, Dad, you have nothing to hide, right?
You didn't shoot Antonio, did you?" Chris gulps heavily back to her.
"I hated that man," he admits to his daughter. "He was a son of
a bitch and he continued to play with our lives; he
he had to be stopped!"
"Dad, you're scaring me." "But Cheresa," he reaches
over and grabs her hand. "I didn't shoot him. I didn't kill Antonio."
Cheresa breathes a sigh of relief. "Then you have nothing to hide,"
Cheresa says back to him. "Just tell the truth, and everything else will
work out." "I need to think about something else," he admits
to her. "How are you? How are you coping without Dawn?" Cheresa
uneasily smiles back to him. "It's been a challenge," she tells him.
"But
I
I guess I'm starting to have feelings for someone else."
Chris arches his eyebrow at her admission. "Another woman? How does Dawn
feel about that?" Cheresa waves her hand in the air as she thinks
about how close she has gotten to Chantel. "Dawn doesn't know, and I'm not
going to tell her. We are still in a long-distance relationship; it's just, it
can be difficult, you know? And this other girl, she's pretty, she's caring, and
she's
here." "Don't do anything that will jeopardize
everything you've built with Dawn," Chris warns his daughter. "Have
the conversation, don't keep this a secret from Dawn." ***
Meanwhile,
in Simona's office, Andrew sits in a chair while the police officer paces back
and forth. "You've been staying at the casino for sometime now, is
that correct?" Simona asks Andrew, who nods back to her. "And how were
you paying for such an expensive suite?" "Uh, it's a long story,"
Andrew replies to her. "At first, I was able to afford it on my own. And
then, I started to gamble and Antonio, he wanted me to gamble." "Why
did he want you to gamble?" "Because," Andrew sighs back
to her. "He thought that I brought more attention to the game. You know,
a young, attractive man at the table, he believed more people would come to play,
so he gave me a discount on the room." "I see. And then what
happened?" "I realized that I was getting in over my head with
gambling; I couldn't afford it anymore, and then Antonio gave me a loan. But I
realized that I would never be able to pay him back. I felt
trapped."
"Did you still owe him money?" Simona asks him quickly. "We
were almost paid in full," Andrew explains to her. "Daisy and I came
into money after Vinny, my uncle died, and we used that to pay back Antonio. We
just had some interest and we wanted to leave the casino." "When
you say we, are you talking about you and Daisy Davenport?" "Yes."
"So you both have motive to want Antonio dead," Simona tells him
quickly. "I didn't kill Antonio," Andrew protests back to her.
"I
I told you all this so you can have the full story! Don't make me
regret that." "As soon as we find the gun that killed Antonio,
I might have more questions for you," Simona admits to him. "Until then,
do not leave town, Mr. Pherson. This is serious, and you could be in trouble."
"Fine," Andrew stands up from his chair, feeling his hands clam
from sweat. "But next time you want to chat, I want my lawyer present."
