"Thanks
for meeting me, I know you have a lot going on at Robertson Enterprises right
now," Sergio tells Donovan, who takes a sip of his beer, which he is allowed
to have while he is on a break from work. Sergio asked to see his lover because
he hasn't been able to stop thinking about his last encounter with Lukas, in which
he was informed that Lukas kissed Donovan. The last thing he wants to do is be
involved in a messy domestic situation, even though he already feels like he is. "You
know I enjoy spending time with you, Sergio," Donovan smiles back to him.
"So any time you invite me to get a drink, I'm game. Unless I have something
planned with Olly." "How
is he doing?" "Oh,
he's fine," Donovan nods back to him. "Whatever bug he had when he had
that fever, it's long gone. He's back to being perfect." "I'm
happy to hear that," Sergio replies to him quickly. "I know how much
you love that little boy." "He's
the best," Donovan beams back to him. "But I don't think you asked me
here to talk about my son? So, what is going on? What's on your mind?" Sergio
takes a deep breath and then looks back at Donovan. "I enjoy spending time
with you, Donovan. I mean, a lot. I really like you. But the last thing I want
to do is be a homewrecker." "Why
would you think you're a home wrecker?" "I
need you to tell me something," Sergio says back to him. "And please,
be honest with me." "Of
course," Donovan uneasily tells him. "What's up?" "Do
you still have feelings for Lukas?" Sergio asks him as Donovan arches his
eyebrow back to him. "Do you still have feelings for your estranged husband?" ***
At
the bar, Chantel sits with a martini in front of her. She takes a long sip of
the drink while she thinks about the recurring dreams that she has been having
recently. Ever since she helped Lukas and Donovan with Olly the night he had a
fever at the hospital, she has been having dreams of the night she gave birth
to the little boy. She doesn't regret the decision that she made to give him up
for adoption, but she does wonder why she is having dreams of Olly after all this
time. "Something
must have triggered these dreams," she whispers to herself as she takes a
sip of her martini. "I guess it could just be the fact that I saw Olly at
the hospital; maybe that is what started all of these dreams." She
pauses when she thinks about how in all of her dreams, she can't hear baby Olly
crying after she gives birth. She knows that the doctor in the dream takes the
baby away and she can see him cleaning the child, but she can't hear the baby
make any noise, which is troubling to her. "Why doesn't Olly cry
in the dreams? It's
it's like he was stillborn or something, but that's impossible
because I just saw him," she says as she takes another drink of her martini.
"I don't know what this all means, but I have to figure it out. I
I
feel like I'm being haunted by this." She turns around when she hears
more people come into the restaurant. She gulps heavily when she sees Bryce talking
to the hostess. "Bryce," she gasps to herself, suddenly realizing the
man she has been working with helped her deliver her child. "He
he's
the doctor from the dream. He delivered Olly; maybe he can help me get to the
bottom of this." ***
At another table, Chris and Daisy
sit across from one another with cocktails in front of them. Chris takes a long
sip of his whiskey sour before he looks back at his former wife. "Have
you heard anything else from Simona Lopez on Antonio's death?" Chris asks
her as she takes a sip of her cosmo. "No, thank God," she breathes
a sigh of relief. "I have to tell you, I really didn't appreciate her line
of questioning with me. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't hired
Ethan Alexander." "Was it really that bad?" "You
have no idea," Daisy admits to him. "Because I knew about the fact that
Antonio had a gun in his office, she seemed to think that it made me a prime suspect,
or at least that's how I felt." "I know you, Daisy," he
replies to her quickly. "I know that there's no way that you could have killed
Antonio." "Thanks Chris," Daisy uneasily smiles back to
him. "I guess I needed to hear that. How are you doing? I'm sure this hasn't
been an easy time with you, not only with Antonio's death but the truth about
Andrew and Trenyce's affair coming out." "It's a mess,"
Chris reveals to her. "Trenyce keeps wanting me to put the pieces of our
life back together, but I am not ready to do that yet. I don't know if I ever
will be again. And I can't even look at Andrew. The sight of him makes me sick
to my stomach." "Oh Chris," she reaches over and grabs
his hand. "Things will get better, I know they will. You just need time to
deal with your hurt, but try to remember how much you and Trey love one another
okay? It's not too late to save your marriage, if that's what you want."
"I guess that's the thing, I have no idea what I want Daisy. I just know
that I'm devastated, and all these questions about Antonio, they aren't helping
anything. If anything, they are making it far worse." The Davenport
House; Chris, Trenyce, BJ, & Albertinah's Home
"Andrew, this
is a surprise," Trenyce says as she opens the front door to her house and
sees her former lover standing on the other side. The last person she was expecting
to see was Andrew because of all the conflict their affair coming to light has
caused. "I know," Andrew sighs back to her quickly. "Chris,
he's not home, is he?" "No, he's not," Trenyce replies
to him as Andrew moves into the house. "I'm not sure you should be here though.
If Chris comes home and sees you
" "I know, but I had to
see you and Albertinah," Andrew admits to her. "I came here a few days
ago and Chris almost attacked me, but Trey, if Tinah is my little girl, I can't
stay away from her." "She's sleeping right now but she should
be awake any time," Trenyce admits to him. "You can have 20 minutes
with her, okay? But then you have to go; I don't want Chris finding you."
"I get it," he says back to her. "And thanks Trey, I appreciate
that. The last thing I want is to cause more drama with Chris." "He's
having a hard time dealing with everything that has happened." "I
can't say that I blame him, exactly. How are you holding with Antonio's murder?
It seems like Simona has really targeted the family with some questions,"
Andrew tells her quickly. "She's questioned all of us, I think,"
Trenyce sighs back to him. "I don't know what she wants with us, but she
is barking up the wrong tree." "You mean that? You had nothing
to do with his death?" Trenyce looks back at him in shock at his
question. "Of course not!" she squeals back to him. "Did I want
him to stop meddling in our lives? Yes, I did. But I didn't shoot the son of a
bitch, although whoever did, should get a medal." Andrew chuckles
back to her. "I believe her, but you might want to edit yourself," he
winks back to her. "If Simona heard you say that, it might not help you stay
out of her office getting more questions asked." Twin Peaks Police
Department
Simona looks at the file on her desk as she continues to
try to put the pieces of Antonio's murder. She knows that she has questioned Chris,
Daisy, Andrew and Trenyce, and the most interesting conversation was with Daisy
as she seemed to get flustered over the fact that she had access to Antonio's
gun. "The key is for me to try to find the gun," she whispers
to herself. "If I can find the murder weapon, it would give me a lot more
insights as to who did this." She pauses for a moment as she thinks
about Isabelle visited her earlier and demanded some answers for her father's
death. Simona knows that she has to find out who killed Antonio to ensure that
Isabelle gets the justice she needs, and deserves, while she deals with her father's
passing. "Simona," a police officer says as he opens the door
to her office. "This just came from you; it's footage from the pier that
you asked for." "Perfect," Simona stands up and tears into
the package. "This, hopefully, will give me insights into the Moretti murder."
She puts a video tape into a VCR and pushes play. She chuckles at the fact
that pier hasn't updated their security system in years; she is just lucky that
the police station still has a VCR hanging around. On the screen, she can see
the pier the night of Robin and Antonio's engagement party. "What's that?"
she asks as she pauses the tape and sees a figure dressed in all black rushing
down the pier. She resumes the tape and sees the figure throw something into the
river. "I bet you that is the gun that was used to kill Antonio."
"So, what do we do now?" the officer asks her. "We
scrape the river," Simona looks back at him. "We have to find that gun."
Dominick's Townhouse Dominick moves closer to the bar in the
living room of the townhouse that he lives in with Abby with a bottle of champagne
in his hand. He sets the bottle down and then starts to remove the cork, which
pops open. "Is that champagne?" Abby asks as she moves into
the living room as she sees Dominick pouring two glasses. "It is,"
Dominick winks back to her before he passes her a glass of the bubbly. "It
is our wedding day, Abigail, if it's not a day to celebrate, then no day ever
will be." Abby smiles back to him before she takes a sip of the champagne.
"You're right about that," she chuckles back to him. "In a few
short hours, we will be husband and wife, again, and I can't wait, Dominick."
"Neither can I," he leans in and kisses her on the lips. "There
was a while when I didn't think that this would ever happen again, Abby. So yes,
today is a great day to celebrate our love and life together." "I
hope you know how much I love you," she tells him as she looks at the champagne
and realizes that she can't drink anymore because of the baby. The last thing
she wants to do is impact anything that could harm her unborn child. "I
love you too," he replies to her. "How about a toast?" "I'll
toast, but I don't want to have too much to drink before the ceremony," she
says. "I want to be clear headed when I say 'I do' again." "That
makes sense my love," he kisses her again. "Just know that I can't wait
to start spending the rest of my life together." The Sugarbowl
Victoria opens the door to the coffeehouse and scurries inside. She is
desperate for another coffee this morning as the air is starting to get chiller
as fall is in the air. As she moves into the lineup, she can't help but see Paige
sitting in the back booth of the coffeehouse by herself. Victoria arches her eyebrow
wondering what Paige is going to do with the information that she gave her to
stop Dominick from marrying Abby again. After she grabs her coffee from
the barista, Victoria moves to the booth and sits across from Paige. "You
look a million miles away." Paige looks back at Victoria and uneasily
smiles back to her. "Today is my grandfather's wedding day to Abby,"
Paige reveals to her. "So, you haven't told him that she slept with
Ethan?" Victoria asks her quickly as Paige shakes her head back to her. "Why
not, Paige? You told me you wanted information that would prevent the marriage
from happening. Why haven't you told Dominick that his fiancé slept with
another man?" "It's complicated," Paige replies to her
quickly. "The fact is, Ethan is my brother; Dominick's grandson. If he, and
my parents, find out that Ethan slept with Abby, all hell will break loose. The
last thing I want is for my family to be in the middle of a crisis again."
"What are you going to do?" Victoria asks her quickly. "I
have no idea," Paige sighs back to her. "But with the wedding taking
place in a few hours, I don't have much time to decide my next move. Either way,
this is going to be a difficult decision to make." Twin Peaks
Court House "Mr. Lawson, you swear to tell the truth, the whole
truth, and nothing but the truth?" the bailiff asks Greg, who is standing
up at the witness stand in the court room. Greg
looks over at Robbie and Kim before he nods and says yes. Judge Franklin Ross
then turns to Greg, "You may be seated. Ms. Kam, the witness is all yours."
Lois Kam stands up and moves closer to Greg. "Mr. Lawson, you were engaged
to Kim Calimo last year, is that correct?" "Yes, that is correct,"
Greg says as he looks at Kim again, who looks away from him. "How
did that engagement end?" Lois asks him next. Greg sighs back to
her. "Kim and I, we were planning our wedding; we wanted to spend the rest
of our lives together, or so I thought. You see, she ended up being shot last
November, and we all thought she was going to die." "She obviously
lived?" Lois asks him. "Yes, but it was touch and go for a while,"
Greg explains to her. "Her former husband, Robbie Calimo, he came up with
this idea which I regret agreeing too." "What was his idea?"
"He told me, and his wife Madeline, that Kim would want to be married
to him before she died," Greg tries not to get choked up. "He said that
despite being divorced, he believed Kim would want to be his wife before she died.
Madeline and I, we agreed and they remarried." "And then your
fiancé survived the shooting?" "Yes, exactly," Greg
tells her. "And Robbie and Kim, they decided to remain married. So Madeline
and I, we were left out in the cold of this wonderful reunion," he says,
filled with sarcasm. "So that's why we are here today, because they said
that they would come back to us when all was said and done, and now, Madeline
and I are miserable and alone. They don't care about who they hurt or what happened
to us, they just cared about themselves." "Objection!"
Josh stands up in protest. "Sustained," the Judge looks at Greg.
"Stick the facts, Mr. Lawson, not emotion." "I'm sorry
your honor," Greg looks back at him. "But it is the facts. Madeline
and I, we have been devastated by their reunion because we have up two people
that we loved, and thought loved us, only to have been played by fools. Robbie
and Kim can make up any excuses that they want, but those are the facts, end of
discussion." Next on One Day at a Time - Cory learns Gordy
