The Pink Flamingo at the River
Rock Casino
"I
can't believe it," Cory admits to Penny as they sit across from one another
at a table in the restaurant. Penny just finished telling Cory that she ran into
Gordy at the park earlier in the dayr; neither one of them realized that he had
come to town, yet alone make his presence known. "Gordy is in town? Did he
say why?" Penny
takes a sip of her cocktail before she looks back at Cory. "I asked him,
but you called me to come here, so I never did get an answer." "Have
you heard from the neighbors that are looking after the farm?" Cory asks
her next. "Maybe he's here because something happened?" "Nothing
happened on the farm," Penny replies to him. "I thought of that, but
my neighbors said it's all good." "So,
what does Gordy want?" Cory asks her confused. "What could he possibly
want from Twin Peaks?" "That
is the million dollar question," Penny nods back to him. "But I think,
together, we can figure this out together." ***
Donovan looks back at Sergio in
surprise as he was just asked by the police detective if he still has feelings
for Lukas. The two had been catching up with one another when Sergio, who was
told by Lukas that he kissed Donovan, asked his lover if he still has feelings
for his estranged husband. The question has caught Donovan off guard. "Where
is this coming from?" Donovan finally asks him. "Why do you think that
I still have feelings for Lukas?" Sergio uneasily chuckles back to
him. "I ran into him the other day," he explains to him. "And he
happened to mention that he kissed you. I am sure he purposely told me to get
under my skin, and it clearly worked, but I'm left wondering if you liked the
kiss and, more importantly, why you didn't tell me about the kiss?" Donovan
shakes his head back to him. "Yes, Lukas kissed me," he tells him quickly.
"He has had it in his mind that we should be getting back together, but that
is not what I want. I am enjoying being with you, Sergio." "So
you didn't like the kiss?" Donovan shrugs back to him. "Lukas
and I, we have a long history," he replies to him. "But a lot of that
history has been filled with hurting one another." "What are
you trying to tell me, exactly?" "That on some level, yes, I
will always have feelings for Lukas; we have been married for years, and we share
a child together," Donovan reaches over and grabs Sergio's hand. "But,
you are the man that I am with now. Lukas and I, we are over, I promise you that.
Tell me that you believe me?" Sergio looks back into Donovan's eyes
and senses that he is telling him the truth. "I believe you." The
Pier
Lukas swiftly moves down the pier as he is trying to get some
exercise in. His mind is still racing over the fact that Meggan crashed her car
recently; he knows that she was drinking while she crashed her car, which is troublesome
for him because he knows the last time she was drinking, everyone believed that
Meggan killed Noah. He just hopes that she is able to get her drinking under control.
He, also, can't help but think about how he kissed Donovan recently. He has
been trying to find a way for him to get through to Donovan that they should be
trying to save their marriage instead of getting a divorce. He just hopes that
he is able to get through to Donovan before it's too late. He pauses when
he sees Chantel sitting on a bench looking at the river. He senses that she is
deep in thought; having her turnup at the hospital recently, when Olly was having
a fever. The last person he and Donovan thought that they would run into is Olly's
birth mother. He finds himself moving towards the younger woman. "Chantel?"
he asks as she turns and looks at him. "Hey, I thought it was you. Are you
okay? You looked a little lost." Chantel forces a smile on her face
as she knows that she has been struggling with some odd dreams about the night
she gave birth to Olly. "I'm
I'm not sure, to be honest with you."
Lukas moves around and sits next to her. "Do you want to talk about it?
I might be able to help you with something?" "It's about Olly,"
she replies to him. He arches his eyebrow back to her. "What about
my son? What's going on with Olly?" *** A few yards
away, Simona is standing on the edge of the pier as a team of police officers
move into one of the police boats that they have. After she saw video footage
of someone throwing an object into the river, she knew that she had to search
the river for the object. Her hope is that the object is the gun that was used
to kill Antonio. If she is able to find that gun, she might be able to find out
who shot him. "Okay, remember," Simona looks at the officers
in the boat. "Notify me as soon as you're done searching the river. I need
to know everything that you find, leave no stone unturned." "Don't
worry detective," one of the officers replies to her. "If there is a
gun in this river, we will find it and we will bring it back to you."
"That's exactly what I wanted to hear," Simona purses her lips together
as she responds to him. St. Joseph's Church
Near the back
of the church, there is a Groom's room, where the groom-to-be is able to get ready
for the wedding. Currently, the room is being occupied by Dominick, Tyler, and
Ethan, as they are getting ready for Dominick and Abby's wedding, which is scheduled
to begin in a few hours. "Good thing we have Google," Ethan
chuckles as he looks at his phone before he passes Dominick his bowtie. "I
wouldn't have remembered how to tie one of these bowties without it."
Dominick chuckles at his grandson. "Tyler used to have the same problem,
isn't that right, son?" Tyler laughs back with his father. "It's
true," he looks over at Ethan. "But this town seems to have a lot of
parties and weddings, and now, I'm a pro at tying them." "Then
I'll let you handle Dominick's," Ethan winks back over to him. "By the
way, Bryce said he was going to come by too." "I am so pleased
to hear that," Dominick looks over at his family. "It is high time this
family comes together; that includes you and Bryce," he says looking at Ethan.
"And hopefully this wedding will do just that." Ethan gulps
back to him, recalling how he slept with Abby recently. He knows that he has pushed
his feelings aside because Abby wants to get married to Dominick; now, Ethan just
has to focus on his family instead of the woman that he loves. ***
Meanwhile,
in the foyer of the church, Leah finishes placing some white roses near the door
before she turns and looks at the space. She can't believe that Dominick is going
to remarry Abby in a few hours. She just hopes that he knows what he is doing
because the entire family has never been a fan of Abby, but she can't deny that
Abby did support Dominick coming out of his coma. "She better not
do anything to hurt you," she whispers to herself as she hears the doors
to the church open. "We aren't ready for guests yet
" she starts
to say as she spins around but she freezes when she sees Bryce standing there.
"Bryce, sorry, I thought you were a guest." "I heard,"
he chuckles to her. "This place looks incredible." "That
it does," Leah tells her son. "You're here so early, do you need anything?"
"Oh," Bryce replies to her. "Dominick asked me to help him
get ready; I'm meeting him, Tyler, and Ethan." "Really? You
are?" "I am," Bryce tells her as she gets tears in her
eyes. "Are you okay? Did I say something wrong?" "No,"
Leah shakes her head back to him. "It's just
I've wanted this for so
long, my family being together. So no, Bryce, nothing is wrong. Everything is
finally feeling right." Twin Peaks Court House Robbie
looks at Kim as Madeline is getting sworn into the witness stand. He knows that
Madeline will throw him under the bus because she is still livid about the annulment.
"Hey, don't worry okay," Kim whispers back to her husband. "Madeline
will have her turn, and then we will have our turn. Try to stay positive."
"I am trying," Robbie replies to her. "I just know she's going
say trash me as much as possible." Before Kim can respond, the Judge
looks at Lois. "Your witness Ms. Kam." "Thank you, your
honor," Lois says as she stands up from her chair and moves towards Madeline.
"Ms. Wilkins, can you explain to the court how you and Robbie Calimo became
to be a couple?" Madeline moves a piece of her hair behind her ear.
"It all happened very quickly and unexpectedly," Madeline tells her
lawyer. "We started hanging out very casually, and we ended up in Las Vegas
together, and we got married. When we got back to town, we agreed to make our
marriage work." "And you were happy together?" "Yes,
we were," Madeline looks over at Robbie with a stare. "That is, until
Kim was shot last November." "What happened when Mrs. Calimo
was shot?" "Robbie came to me with this insane idea," Madeline
reveals to her and the Judge. "He said that Kim would have wanted to be married
to him before she died, and the doctors, they all said she was dying."
"Is that when you agreed to the annulment?" "Yes,"
Madeline nods back to her. "Because Robbie, he told me that he would come
back to me after Kim died. Only, she didn't die. And he didn't come back to me.
So you see, that's why I'm here. That son of a bitch left me without warning and
under false pretenses." "What do you want?" Lois asks her.
"I want my money," Madeline grits her teeth back to her. "And
anything else the Judge seems fit to give me. Because had we actually divorced,
I would have received something from the Calimo's; instead, all I got was a broken
heart, and that's not okay. Not with me." Next on One Day at a
