The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino

Robin moves into the restaurant and sees Cory and Penny standing by the bar. Robin gulps at the sight as she feels like every time she sees Cory now, he is with Penny. She realizes that they must have grown closer while they were together on Penny's farm; she just doesn't know where that leaves her and Cory, because before his "death", they were in a relationship. She sighs to herself as she moves closer to them, just as Penny pulls Cory into a hug.

"Sorry to interrupt," Robin clears her throat as arrives at the two of them. "How are you doing?"

"Just saying goodbye, actually," Penny turns to Robin. "Cory is meeting his daughter here."

"Ah, how is Sophie?" Robin asks him quickly.

"She is getting stronger each and every day," Cory tells her. "I'm trying to see her as often as possible so she knows how much I love her."

"She knows," Robin smiles back to her. "Before I let you go, I…I have to tell you both something."

Cory and Penny look at one another before they look back at Robin. "What's going on?" Cory asks her.

"Your former fiancé," Robin looks at Penny. "Gordy, he is in town."

"He is," Penny nods to her. "I saw him a few weeks ago. I'm not sure what brought him to town, though."

"You," Robin says back to her. "He wants you back; he's…well, he's asked me to help him break the two of you up."

"What?" Penny gasps back to her in shock.

"What did you tell him?" Cory asks her quickly.

"I told him I wouldn't do it," Robin informs them. "But between the three of us, I don't think he's going to back down. He's very determined."

A few minutes later, Cory is moving up to a table at the restaurant where Sophie and Natasha are sitting together.

"Two beautiful women waiting for me," he chuckles as Sophie stands up and hugs her father. "Sorry I am late."

"It's all good," Sophie replies to him as she sits next to him. "Mom and I were just catching up."

"That we were," Natasha smiles back to her. "Sophie was just saying that she feels like she's ready to go back to work, but I think it's too soon."

"Back to work, huh?" Cory asks her in surprise. "You know, there's no rush for that."

"That's exactly what I was telling her," Natasha agrees with her former husband. "There's no rush, Sophie. You're still recovering."

Sophie smiles back to her parents. "I appreciate what you two are doing," she tells them. "But I feel well enough to go back to work. I don't want to just sit around and do nothing."

"How about you start with a day or two a week and go from there?" Natasha suggests to her.

"I can do that," Sophie tells her. "I promise I won't overdo it. And besides, Max will be there to ensure I am fine."

"You and Max?" Cory asks her as Natasha sighs heavily. "I didn't realize you two were that close?"

Sophie excitedly nods back to him as she recalls how she and Max recently had their first official date with one another. "I really like him," she admits to her parents as Natasha gulps. "I'm really excited to see where this goes."

"I still want you to focus on you and your health," Natasha tells her daughter. "Don't let Max interfere with that."

"He won't," Sophie looks back at her. "If anything, he is helping me get better."

The words make Natasha's blood start to boil as she knows that the last thing she wants is for Sophie to be involved with Cassie's son. The question, how is she going to stop this from happening?

Roboto

Max sits behind the desk in the main office at Roboto and is looking over some of the latest photographs that he took for an upcoming photo shoot at the company. As he studies the pictures, he can't help but get a smile on his face as he thinks about his date with Sophie. While she started out a little nervous, they ended up having a great time together.

"You look pleased," a voice calls out at the office doorway. Max turns and sees his mother standing there.

"Mom, hi," Max stands up from the desk. "I guess I was just lost in thought."

"Whatever you were thinking about certainly put a smile on your face," Cassie tells him as she sets her large purse down on the desk. "What's going on?"

"If you must know, I was thinking about my date with Sophie," he reveals to her as she puts her hand on her hip. "It went really well."

"I wish you wouldn't have done that," she says in a sharp tone. "I don't think it's a good idea for you to be involved with Natasha Calimo's daughter."

"Why not?" Max asks her quickly. "You're…whatever your relationship status is with Jacob! How is that any different?"

"Jacob and I share a child," she reminds him quickly. "And believe me, Jacob and I have had our share of troubles, mostly because of that bitch of a mother of his."

"I'm sorry Mom, I'm not going to stop seeing Sophie because of your decades old vendetta against Natasha," Max informs her quickly. "That's something you're going to have to get used too."

The Sugarbowl

Eva sits at the back booth of the coffeehouse with a latte in front of her. Her mind is racing over the fact that while she and Will were in bed together, Dominick didn't end up getting married to Abby because Paige announced to everyone that she cheated with Ethan. Eva had left the church because it was too painful for her to watch Dominick marry another woman; she ran into Will and they ended up in bed together. Afterwards, Will told her that they could finally be together now, but Eva's head is spinning because Dominick is still a free man.

She feels her heart skip a beat when she sees Dominick open the door to the coffeehouse. She can't help but wonder what their future looks like now that he didn't marry Abby. Before she knows what is happening, Dominick is approaching her.

"Dominick," she says to her former husband as he sits across from her. "I…I've been meaning to reach out to you. I heard about the wedding, I am so sorry that it didn't work out the way you wanted it too."

Dominick uneasily chuckles back to her. "It is what it is, you know? The woman I wanted to marry, the woman I was in love with, she was sleeping with my grandson. I am just glad that Paige, and Ethan, told me before the wedding otherwise I would have been headed for divorce court."

"I guess that is the silver lining. I still must hurt like hell to find out what she did to you."

"It does," Dominick admits to her. "You know, I actually went to talk to you about this the other day."

"You did?" Eva asks him with a raised eyebrow. "You must not have found me?"

"You were occupied," Dominick looks back at her. "With Will Coutts."

"How did you know I was with Will?" a worried Eva asks him quickly.

"I heard you two together," Dominick informs her. "You were in bed with Will, Eva. Don't try to deny it."

"I…I can't deny that," she says back to him in a whisper. "The truth is, I couldn't stay at the church because I was to upset to watch you marry Abby, and I ran into Will and he…comforted me. You…you can't be upset with me, are you?"

Dominick shrugs his shoulders. "To be honest, Eva, I don't know what to think. You claimed to love me and want to be with me, but you end up in bed with Will. This seems like a never-ending cycle between us and it has to end. It has too."

Robertson Enterprises

"Do you have a few minutes?" Tyler asks Leah as he opens the door to her office and peeks his head inside.

Leah looks up from her laptop at her brother and nods back to him. She can only imagine what Tyler wants from her since they are still wondering about the missing funds from the company; Leah knows that the evidence points to her but she is innocent, she just needs to prove it to Tyler, and everyone else.

"Of course," she looks back at him as he moves into the office and closes the door, which doesn't latch. Outside the office, Victoria stops outside the door so she can listen in on the conversation. "Have you uncovered any new information on the missing money?"

"No, I'm afraid not," Tyler sighs back to her. "You have to know what a difficult position this is putting me in, Leah."

"I get it," she sighs back to him. "What you, and everyone, must realize is that I am being set up. I didn't take the money from the company, Tyler. It doesn't make sense that I would do this! This is my family company, why the hell would I steal from it?"

"I get it," Tyler says back to her. "But the evidence shows otherwise, Leah. And so, my hands are tied."

"Your hands are tied? What do you mean by that? What are you going to do?"

"I'm sorry Leah," Tyler tells her. "But I have to fire you. You have an hour to pack up and leave, or security will escort you out."

"Fired?" Leah gasps back at him. "You can't do this! Tyler, I'm innocent."

"I'm sorry," Tyler looks at her with intent. "Until you can prove that you are innocent, you no longer are an employee at Robertson Enterprises."

Outside the office, a sly grin creeps across Victoria's face before she quickly walks away, knowing that neither Leah or Tyler can see that she was listening into the conversation.

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"I'm sorry that I have this shift," Cheresa tells Dawn as they step off the elevator at the hospital and move towards the nurses station. "Had I known that you were going to surprise me, I would have tried to get out of it."

Dawn smiles back to her girlfriend, who she just surprised from Toronto. "No, no, don't worry about it," Dawn tells her. "You having to be at work will allow me some time to catch up with some other friends, like Max and Andrew. We can connect once you're done work?"

"I'd love that," Cheresa smiles back to her before she leans in and kisses Dawn on the lips.

At the nurses station, Chantel freezes at the sight of Cheresa and Dawn in a lip lock. She moves back to the nurses station and tries to lower her heart rate; she remembers how she and Cheresa just made love right before Dawn surprised Cheresa by showing up on her doorstep. Before Cheresa could even tell Chantel how she felt about them hitting the sheets, she was dealing with Dawn. Now Chantel wonders if she and Cheresa will ever have a future together. She looks over her shoulder, again, and still sees the two lovers kissing.

"How can I lose something I never actually had?" Chantel whispers to herself before she tries to focus on the work she has in front of her.

Twin Peaks Police Station; The Holding Cells

"We had a really good meeting with Ethan," Andrew informs Daisy as he stands outside of her jail cell. He just told her about the visit Ethan had with him, Trenyce and Chris about Daisy's defense trial, which is starting the following morning. "He thinks that we have a good chance if we can find out who really killed Antonio."

"Well that would be the best," Daisy replies to him quickly. "But I'm not sure how we can find out who killed Antonio."

"Ethan knows that Antonio arranged Cory's plane to crash last year," Andrew tells her. "He's going to spin it that Cory might have had motive."

"There's one problem with that," Daisy says back to him. "Cory and Antonio, they were wearing the same outfit the night of the masquerade party."

"Wait," Andrew looks back at her with intent. "That could be the key; what if the shooter wanted Cory dead, not Antonio? What if the person was looking to kill Cory?"

"I hadn't thought of that," Daisy admits to him. "If that's the case, we have to figure out who would want Cory dead."

"Leave that to me," Andrew tells her. "We will come up with something, I know we will."

"Thanks Andrew," Daisy purses her lips together. "I…I am scared, I can't go to jail for something I didn't do, I just can't."

The Davenport House; Chris, Trenyce, BJ, & Albertinah's Home

"I see Andrew is gone," Chris announces as he moves into the living room of the house he lives in with Trenyce and their children. He can't help but remember earlier in the day when he witnessed a close moment between Trenyce, Andrew and Albertinah; the sight of them being so close was a very hard pill for him to swallow.

"Yea, he went to visit Daisy before calling it a night," Trenyce takes a sip of her red wine that she just poured. "He is worried about tomorrow and the start of the trial."

"We all are," Chris tells her as he pours himself a scotch. "There's just so much going on right now."

"I know we are still going through our own issues, but I'm glad that you have been able to put that aside, at least for now."

"I don't know if I can do that," Chris admits to her as they locked eyes. "I saw you earlier, Trey. You, Andrew and Albertinah."

"I'm sorry about that," Trenyce admits to him. "Andrew just wanted some time with Tinah, I hope it's okay."

"It is not okay!" Chris raises his voice back to her. "You slept with Andrew and he could be Albertinah's father! Do you know how much that kills me? I am the only father that she has known!"

"I know that, and so does Andrew."

"Does he?" Chris asks her quickly. "Because he is always coming around wanting to see her! I can't handle this, Trey! I won't lost Albertinah!"

"What are you saying?" Trenyce asks him as her lower lip quivers.

"I want full custody of Albertinah," Chris stuns her with his news. "I will not lose my daughter, not to anyone."
