*** "How are
you doing?" Jacob asks Isabelle as he moves up to her and pulls her into
a hug. "Sorry I am late." Isabelle uneasily smiles back to him
as they exit their embrace. She can't help but think about her outburst earlier
in the day; the Judge was furious with her and warned her that if she has any
future outbursts, she would be forced out of the courtroom. She doesn't know if
she will be able to handle anyone else slamming her father, but she also realizes
that she needs to be in the courtroom so she can ensure justice is done for her
father. "I don't know," Isabelle admits to him. "Hearing
these people say horrible things about my father, it's awful. I don't know if
I will be able to handle this." "Are Victoria and Donovan here
to support you?" Jacob asks her quickly. "Yes, they just stepped
out for a moment," she tells him. "They are being great, it's just
hard,
you know?" "I can't imagine what you're going through,"
Jacob says back to her. "Just know that I am in your corner, okay? I'm not
leaving your side, not for a second." Isabelle smiles back to him
knowing that Jacob might not feel that way if Cassie
reveals that she blackmailed her into leaving town all those months ago. She forces
those thoughts out of her mind, however, because the only thing she can focus
on is getting through the trial. "Thanks Jacob, I need you know more
than ever before," she says as she fights the growing tears in her eyes.

In the foyer, Ethan pulls his phone out of his pocket and
unlocks it. He sighs as he looks at the contact page for Dominick; he knows that
his grandfather is still furious with him for having an affair with Abby, which
was revealed at his wedding to her. He also knows that Abby is also furious with
him for telling the truth, so he feels like his personal life is in chaos right
now. He pushes "call" on the phone and then puts his phone to
his ear. He sighs, again, when it goes straight to Dominick's voicemail. "Dominick,
hi," he says into the phone. "It's Ethan; I'm
I'm in court today
representing Daisy Davenport, but I had to call you. I know that you're still
furious with me, and you have every right to be, it's just
well, right before
the wedding, I was feeling like I finally had a family, and you're a big part
of that, and so, I want you to know that I am truly, truly, sorry for sleeping
with Abby. Anyways, I guess, talk to you later?" He hangs up the
phone and puts his phone in the pocket. He shakes his head to himself. "Okay,
forget about that, you have a trial to win." ***
A
few short minutes later, the Judge is returning to his seat and he smashes his
mallet. "You may be seated," Franklin orders the room, who all listen
to him and sit in their respective seats. "Mr. Alexander, your witness?"
Franklin asks Ethan, who stands up again. "Yes, your honor,"
Ethan announces to the room. "The defense calls Cory Calvin to the stand,"
he says as Cory stands up and looks down at Robin before he starts to move towards
the witness stand. Twin Peaks General Hospital Eva moves
towards the nurse's station at the hospital as she just had a checkup with her
doctor. She has been seeing her doctor on a more regular basis to ensure that
none of the drugs that Frederick gave her after she was stabbed by Brooke, and
had amnesia are still having any effects on her. Luckily, her doctor noted that
she was in perfect health, which was a relief to her. As she gets closer to the
station, she happens to see Abby moving onto an elevator. Eva, immediately, arches
her eyebrow as she wonders why Abby was at the hospital. She, then, happens
to see Will behind the nurses' desk and rushes up to him. "Hello Will."
Will turns and gets a smile on his face at the sight of his lover. "Hey
beautiful," he winks back to her. "What brings you here?" "Just
a checkup, and yes, I am fine," Eva looks back at him. "Tell me something
though, why was Abby here? What is going on with her now?" Will uneasily
chuckles back to her. "You know that I can't do that," he explains.
"You know, patient-doctor confidentiality." "Ugh, I know
that," Eva groans. "It's just
if she is up to something, I want
to know so I can warn Dominick." "Dominick was going to marry
another woman and you and I, we had a great time together, Eva," Will reminds
her quickly. "Let's forget about Abby and Dominick and focus on us, can you
do that? Can we, finally, just be happy together?" ***
Meanwhile,
in the breakroom, Chantel pours herself a cup of coffee and then moves to the
sofa to sit down while she's on her break. Her mind is racing over the fact that
she and Cheresa made love a few days earlier, only to have Dawn surprise Cheresa
with a visit. Chantel, then, saw a close moment between Cheresa and Dawn and realizes
that she is the third wheel in their relationship, which is something she never
wanted. "I was so stupid," she whispers to herself as she takes
a sip of her coffee. "Cheresa was just so kind and caring to me as I've been
dealing with these visions of Olly." She moves a piece of her hair
behind her ear as she thinks about the dreams that she has been having over and
over again about giving birth to Olly, only once he is born, he doesn't cry. She
can't put her finger on it, but she knows that something isn't right with her
dream. "It must be because I saw Olly, Lukas, and Donovan at the
hospital the night Olly had his fever," she thinks to herself. "At least,
I hope that's all it is." Before she can think of anything else,
she hears her phone ping with a new message. She grabs it from her purse and sees
an incoming message from Donovan. "Hey, wondering if you want to be a guest
at a dinner party that Lukas and are I having with our families? Could be a nice
way to reconnect and put an end to your dreams?" Chantel puts her
phone down and takes a long sip of her coffee, wondering if the dinner party would
be a good way for her to move beyond this. "Sure, sounds great," she
replies to the text quickly, thinking that this might be the best way for her
to move beyond the dreams of Olly being born dead. The Victors Mansion;
Frederick's Lair Frederick opens the door to Felicia's bedroom in
the mansion, which is deep within the secret tunnels of the mansion. He can see
her reading a book in the rocking chair, as he has brought her out of her cationic
state. "My beauty," he says moving into the bedroom. "It
is good to see you out of bed." "Thank you for giving me these
books to read," she slowly responds to him. "It is a nice way to pass
the time." He sighs as he thinks about how Meggan is drinking again,
and seems to becoming unhinged because she saw him the last time she was drinking
at the mansion. He doesn't know how he is going to help his daughter, but he knows
that needs to do something to get her sober again. "I'm glad they
are helping," he finally responds to her. "What is it Frederick?
I can tell that something is wrong," Felicia stands up and moves closer to
him. "It is my daughter Meggan," he admits to her. "She's
in a bad place and I don't know how I can help her." "It is
never easy seeing your children suffer," Felicia says back to him. "But
you're a smart, clever, caring man, Frederick. You will think of something to
help Meggan, I know you will." Frederick pulls her into a hug and
holds her closely. "This is why I love you so much, you always know the right
thing to say to make me feel better." The Calimo Cabin
Penny
drives closer to the Calimo cabin and parks next to Gordy's SUV. She and Gordy
had been talking at the Sugarbowl when he, suddenly, announced that he was leaving
town. This was jarring to her because Robin just finished telling her, and Cory,
that Gordy wanted to break her and Cory up. She didn't understand why he was suddenly
leaving town, so she followed him, and he came to the cabin. "What
the hell is he doing at this cabin?" she asks herself as she steps out of
her car. "How did he even know about this place?" She moves
to the door and opens it, which startles Gordy, who is making a fire in the fireplace.
"Penny, what the hell are you doing here?" "I
I followed
you," she admits to him as she closes the door behind herself. "What
are you doing here?" "I told you I was leaving town," Gordy
responds to her as he stands up from the fireplace. "I heard some people
in town talking about this cabin and thought it would be an ideal place to stop
for the night." "I have to ask you something," she looks
at him quickly. "Why did you come to Twin Peaks? Was it just to see that
I am content here? Was it just to see that I don't really miss the farm and my
old life there?" "I came back because I wanted us to get back
together," he admits to her. "But I realized that it will never happen
because of Cory. That man has ruined my life and being around him makes me sick
to my stomach. I don't know what you see in him, Penny. But ever since he came
into your life, you've changed. You're not the woman I thought you were."
"It's me Gordy," Penny stares back into his eyes. "I am the
same woman, maybe you're just seeing me for the first time. So, I guess that's
it? I guess you leaving is the best thing for everyone." "All
this time being here was such a waste." "What do you mean by
that?" Penny asks him quickly. "How long have you been in Twin Peaks,
Gordy? When did you get to town?" Twin Peaks Law Courts
Cory sits in the witness stand and, immediately, grabs the glass of water
and takes a sip of it as Ethan stands up and moves closer to the witness stand.
"Mr. Calvin," Ethan begins to ask his first question. "Last
year, you were involved in a plane crash that resulted in your friend and family
believing you were dead, is that correct?" "Yes, that is correct,"
Cory responds to him. "Over time, you figured out who was responsible
for the plane crash?" "Yes, it was Antonio," Cory reveals
as Isabelle gasps in horror in crowd. "He was in love with the woman that
I was engaged too, so he removed me from the equation so he could be with Robin."
Isabelle turns to Robin, who nods back to her and grabs her hand, telling
her that it will be okay. Isabelle takes a deep breath, trying to stay calm.
"How did you feel about that?" Ethan asks him next. "I
had amnesia from the plane crash, so when I learned about it, it didn't hit me
what really happened. But once I got my memory back, I was furious with him, of
course. He stole months of my life away from me! Antonio, he was a monster."
Isabelle stands up and quickly rushes out of the courtroom, unable to listen
to anymore hurtful words about her father. "You were livid, and rightfully
so," Ethan looks back at him. "And you, you were at the masquerade ball
that Antonio was shot at, correct?" "I was. I revealed myself
to be alive to Robin, and I told her about Antonio that night." "Ah,
I see you, both you and Robin had the means to also want Antonio dead."
"I
" "Did you know," Ethan cuts him off,
knowing that he already made his point that either Cory or Robin could have been
the shooter. "That you and Antonio were wearing the same costume that night?"
Cory uneasily nods back to him. "I figured that out later, yes."
"Has it ever crossed your mind that, perhaps, Antonio got wind that you
were back and he wanted you dead? Have you thought that the intended victim that
night was you and not Anonio?" "Objection! Leading the witness,"
Lois stands up and tries to stop the line of questioning. "Overruled,"
the Judge agrees with Lois. "The witness would have no idea who the intended
victim would be." "No more questions," Ethan smirks back
to the Judge before he turns and moves back to his table, where Daisy grins at
him, thrilled that it went so well. "Mr. Calvin," Lois stands
up and looks at Cory. "Did you kill Antonio Moretti?" "No,
I didn't," Cory responds to her. "Do you know who did?"
"No, I have no idea who killed Antonio, but I think he got what he deserved.
After everything that man did to me, I'm not sad that he's dead and buried."
