Episode
Theme song: "lighthouse" Kelly Clarkson | ||
*** Stephanie opens the door to Penny's hospital room and moves inside as Cory and Robin follow her. Just a few minutes earlier, Stephanie interrupted a conversation between Robin and Cory, where he was about to reveal to her how he felt about her because she professed her love to him. Once they realized that Stephanie wanted to talk to them about Penny, they agreed to shelve their conversation as Penny, who is still in a coma, has to come first. "I am curious about what you wanted to talk about within regards to Penny," Cory admits as he breaks the silence between the three of them. "Have you uncovered something else about Penny's health status that we should know about?" "Yes, doctor, do you think that you'll be able to pull Penny out of her coma the same way you did my father last year?" Robin asks next, hoping that Penny wakes up so she and Cory can, finally, move on with their lives. "I do think that I can, yes," Stephanie turns and looks at them. "That's what I wanted to tell you; I think it's time that I try to pull Penny out the coma." Cory and Robin look at one another with a mix of nervousness and excitement. "Really? You've had enough sessions with Penny that you think this will work?" Cory asks her quickly. "I do," Stephanie nods back to him. "I wanted you two here with me while I do this, incase she wakes up and needs to see a familiar face." "We won't go anywhere," Robin replies to her. "Perfect, let's get started," Stephanie says with a smile on her face. "Let's see if Penny can wake up!" *** The silver matted elevator doors open and Robbie moves into the main lobby of the hospital. He turns a corner and moves towards one of the offices. His mind is spinning over the fact that earlier in the day he went to the Pink Flamingo and he saw Kim and Tyler in an embrace. He feels that, once again, Kim is being drawn to her former lover and it is driving him crazy. The truth is, ever since he learned that they almost kissed last fall when they were trapped together, his insecurities have been getting the best of him. He can't place it, but he feels like Kim must still harbour some feelings for Tyler because every time he turns around, they are together again. "I don't know what I'm going to do, but I have to do something," he whispers to himself as he arrives at one of the offices in the hospital. He knocks on the door and within a few minutes, it opens and Madeline looks back at him. "Robbie? This this is a surprise," she replies to him. "What brings you here?" "I I don't know," he admits to her. "Something happened and I guess I wanted to see you." "Okay?" she replies in confusion. "Come in and tell me what's going on, tell me everything." Robertson Enterprises "Alright, I think that is all of my personal belongings," Leah tells Tyler as she places a picture of her, Jeff, and Paige into a box and then she puts a lid over it as she stands behind her desk in her office at Robertson Enterprises. Earlier in the day, she gave her brother her resignation from the company because she doesn't want the company to look further bad while the investigation into the missing funds, that she apparently authorized, is taking place. Still, the fact that she is packing up her office, which she has occupied for years, is a hard pillow to swallow. "I know that this is difficult," Tyler replies to her sister. "But it's like I said earlier, this is only temporary." "You really believe that?" "I do," Tyler nods back to her. "We all know that you wouldn't have been stealing from your family company. It makes no sense." "No, it doesn't," Leah sighs to him. "I still believe, with everything in me, that Victoria is behind this. She has been furious with me for interfering in her relationship with Noah and this was her way to get back at me." "We just have to prove that," Tyler tells her. "And we will, I believe that we will, Leah. These things, sometimes, they just take time." "And in the meantime, I am being robbed of working for my family's company," she tells him. "I hate this, I really hate this." The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino Jeff moves into he restaurant looking to get a late lunch as he has been busy that he hasn't had time to eat. Soft jazz music plays in the background as he waits for the hostess to seat him, which allows him to scan the restaurant. He happens to see Meggan sitting at one of the tables at the back of the restaurant by herself, although there is a martini glass in front of her. He sighs at the sight, recalling how when he saw her recently, he encouraged her to stop drinking. Logan happened to see them and accused Jeff of being part of the reason Meggan was drinking again. He can't believe that his son is blaming him for his mother's drinking, but he really wants Meggan to stop drinking. He quickly moves closer to her table and sits across from her. "Another day of drinking all day?" he asks her with an annoyed tone. "Oh hi Jeff," Meggan rolls her eyes back to him. "By all means, yes, sit with me." "What do I have to say or do to make you realize that this drinking is out of control?" Jeff asks her quickly. "When will you realize that there is nothing you can do to make me not want to drink?" Meggan asks him back. "This is my life, Jeff, not yours, so I suggest you take a huge step back and leave me the hell alone?" "I won't do that," Jeff shakes his head back to her. "Not as long as your drinking is impacting our son." "You heard Logan," Meggan hisses back to him. "He thinks you're the problem, not me." "I won't let you hurt anyone else with this drinking problem of yours!" Meggan throws her martini in his face. "Leave me the hell alone you son of a bitch!" she hisses before she storms off, leaving Jeff's face dripping with vodka. *** At the bar, Will takes another swig of his beer as his mind races about his conversation that he just had with Eva. She arrived at the bar to get some takeout for her and Dominick as he had arranged a one-year anniversary to honor Felicia's memorial service, when they spoke about the fact that Felicia, and Frederick, are alive and well. Eva has decided that she doesn't want to tell anyone the truth because she believes it is her time to be with Dominick. Will, however, has seen how upset Paige, and the rest of the family, is still and he is feeling guilty about keeping this a secret. "The fact is," he whispers to himself. "If I want to have a chance with Eva, telling the truth would allow me to have that chance. If Dominick does reunite with Felicia, Eva would be available for us to reconnect." He sighs thinking at his dilemma. "However, if Eva learns that I am the one that revealed the truth, she could hate me. Ugh, how do I always get myself into these situations?" He finishes his beer and sets his glass down. "I I need to talk to Frederick," he tells himself. "I need to find out exactly what his plans with Felicia are before I can make my decision." Dominick's Townhouse "That food was great," Dominick smiles to Eva as he wipes his mouth with a white napkin before he places it on the coffee table in the living room of his townhouse. He hadn't realized how famished he had become during the anniversary of Felicia's memorial, so he is grateful that Eva went to the Pink Flamingo to get some food for them. "Thanks, again, for bringing this again." "It was the least I could do," Eva purses her lips back to him. "You did a wonderful thing today by having the family father to remember Felicia." "I still hate that I was in a coma when she passed," he sighs back to her. "I never had a chance to say goodbye." "Today was your day to do just that," Eva puts her hand on his leg. "The speech you gave was very moving, and you have to know, wherever Felicia is, she is looking down you, and the entire family, full of pride." "I hope that you're right," Dominick whispers back toher with a smile. "And thank you for the red roses. They look beautiful at her gravesite." "You're welcome," Eva looks into his eyes. "You're mourning, and I get it, but Dominick, you're still here, you're still alive. I I don't want you to fall into this depression always thinking about Felicia." "What do you suggest?" Eva leans in and kisses him sofly on the lips. "I think .I think it's time you give us a real chance again," she whispers back to him as their lips part. "We are here, and we are alive, Dominick. Let's give us one chance to finally be happy, forever this time?" The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas, Donovan, Logan, & Olly's Home Lukas pours himself a whiskey at the bar in the living room of the Richardson estate. He feels like he needs the drink to calm his nerves after Abby learned that Donovan has skipped town with Olly so they won't have to give him over to her since Olly was revealed to be Abby's son, Sonny. He just hopes that they can find Donovan before Abby does something that will rock everyone to the core. "Are you feeling any better?" Sergio asks Lukas, as he takes a sip of his drink. "I know this has stressed you out." "I don't think I will be calm until we find Donovan and our son," Lukas admits to them. "With Abby knowing that Donovan has disappeared, she is a loose cannon. I have no idea what she will do next." "I had an idea," Victoria announces to the men as she joins their circle. "About where Donovan may have gone." Lukas arches his eyebrow back to her. "Where? If you know where my husband is, you have to tell me." "I don't know for sure," Victoria replies to him quickly. "But the Calimo cabin is close enough to the city, but far enough away that people might not think to look there." "That's a great suggestion," Sergio nods back to her. "I agree," Lukas sets his glass down. "I say we head there now and see if Donovan is at the cabin. We have to leave now because we don't have a minute to waste."
