The Park

The morning air is crisp but the sun is out in Twin Peaks as spring has seemingly sprung. The warm sun has started to melt a lot of the snow, making the park a bit of a mess, so Victoria is glad that she is still wearing her boots. She has a coffee from the Sugarbowl in her hands as she is heading back to Robertson Enterprises as she has been tasked by Tyler to come up with a new line that will bring the company back to the top.

To her surprise, Jeff, of all people, has been supportive of her creative process in coming up with some concepts that they could use. With her on-going feud with Leah, the last person she would have expected to support her is Leah's partner, but she has enjoyed working with him.

She stops in her tracks when she sees a man sitting on a bench that overlooks the river, which is slowly unthawing. She, immediately, realizes that it is Bryce; she hasn't seen her husband in weeks, not since he was released on bail after he was arrested for his role in the baby switch. She, still, can't believe that he arranged for Abby's son to be given to Donovan and Lukas, and he told Abby that her child died.

"You're alive," she finds herself moving up to her estranged husband. "You sort of disappeared after you made bail."

Bryce turns and looks at Victoria. He stands up and looks at his wife. "Vic, hi, you…you're looking beautiful as ever."

"Don't do that," Victoria shakes her head back to him. "Don't try to woo me, Bryce."

"I am just being honest," he replies to her. "You're my wife, can I not tell you that I think you're beautiful?"

"There's something you should know," Victoria looks back at him. "I've filed for divorce, Bryce. Soon, we will not be husband and wife anymore."

The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino

"You don't look super happy today," Logan observes to Sophie as they sit across from one another in the restaurant, with some breakfast in front of them. Jazz music is playing in the background as Logan takes a sip of his coffee, knowing that his friend invited him to breakfast, so he thinks that she has something on her mind. "What's up?"

Sophie sighs before she moves a piece of her hair behind her ear. "Who knew that relationships would be so…uh…complicated?"

Logan chuckles back to her. "Does that mean that there's trouble in paradise with Max?"

"I don't know what to think to be honest," Sophie admits to him. "He is very close to another woman, and it…I guess it bothers me."

"Another woman? You should be more than enough for him, I mean, you're a babe."

Sophie blushes at his compliment. "Thanks Logan," she smiles back to him. "Max, he claims that they are just friends, but when I see them together, and he's holding her hand, I don't know, I feel…insecure."

"He's holding hands with another chick?" Logan asks quickly. "That's not cool if he's seeing you, I don't care how good of friends he may or may not be with someone. Soph, do you want my opinion?"

"Of course," Sophie replies to him. "You're my friend, I want to know what you think I should do."

"Dump him," Logan looks back at her with intent. "You deserve a guy that wants you and only you, and that is clearly not Max."

At another table, Lukas sits with a Bloody Mary in front of him and Clayton is sitting across from him. He asked his new friend to join him for breakfast, as he is reeling about the previous day when he and Donovan encountered Abby and they ended up having a heated exchange with her over the fact that she is suing them for custody of Olly. He can't believe that he and Donovan might actually lose their son; he is trying to wrap his head around that but it is difficult for him to comprehend.

"You probably need that drink, huh?" Clayton chuckles to his friend as they lock eyes with one another. "I don't mean to make light of your situation."

"Nah, you're fine," Lukas replies to him. "And you're right, I do. I am a nervous wreck over this situation."

"I don't blame you," Clayton tells him. "But you and your partner, you have a good lawyer, yea?"

"I mean, we haven't even found one yet, but I guess we should get one," Lukas replies to him. "And, you don't have to call Donovan my partner. We…we are married, but we haven't been on solid ground in a very long time."

"Do you mind if I ask what happened?" Clayton asks as he takes a sip of his whiskey sour.

Lukas sighs back to him. "It's a long story," he admits to him. "But somewhere along the way, we grew apart, and then we had this nanny, Jasper, and he was really attracted to me."

"You slept with the nanny?" Clayton asks him in surprise.

"It just happened, but yea," Lukas reveals to him. "Jasper, he was giving me what I needed when Donovan wasn't. It's not an excuse, but it's true."

"And what was it that you needed?"

Lukas grins back to him. "What do you think? A top has his needs," he winks back to him.

"Noted," Clayton looks back at him with a grin on his face. "I'm glad that I know what you like now, if I'm honest."

"Yea?" Lukas asks him as Clayton chuckles back to him. "Like I told you before, Clayton, I am glad we connected, it feels like you came into my life at the right time."

"I couldn't agree more," Clayton winks back to him. "And in case you were wondering, I am a bottom."

Lukas chuckles back to him before he takes a sip of his drink. "I think we are going to get along very well."

At the entrance way of the restaurant, Andy enters and, immediately, spies Lukas and Clayton together. They are laughing, flirting and, clearly, enjoying each other's company. The sight makes Andy feel a little uneasy, but he isn't sure why.

The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas, Donovan, Logan, & Olly's Home

"Can I get you a drink?" Meggan asks Daisy as they move into the living room of the Richardson mansion. Meggan was pleasantly surprised to see Daisy on her doorstep this morning as she hasn't seen her friend she was released from jail.

"Yea, sure, that would be nice," Daisy smiles back to her. "It is so nice to see you Meggan."

"Likewise," Meggan pours two vodka sodas and passes one to Daisy. "You have no idea how happy I am that you're out of jail. I never believed that you killed that monster, Antonio."

"I'll drink to that," Daisy replies to her. "Are you sure drinking is a good thing for you? We know your history."

"I have everything under control," Meggan informs her. "I am drinking again, but it's manageable."

"Okay, I don't want to overstep, I just want make sure that you're in a good place."

"I appreciate that," Meggan takes a sip of her drink. "But I am fine, just fine. How are you? What is going on with you now that you're a free woman?"

Daisy chuckles back to her. "Well, Andrew and I have reconnected and that is nice."

"Oh, a younger man is always fun."

Daisy giggles. "I think we have a connection," she admits to him. "But there is some tension in the family right now. Chris is suing Trenyce for custody of their daughter, but Trenyce also slept with Andrew, so he could be the father of her baby."

"Yikes," Meggan takes another sip of her drink.

"Yea, I know," Daisy says. "They are doing a DNA test to prove who fathered Tinah."

"You're hoping it is Chris, I take it?"

"Why would you ask me that?"

"Because," Meggan looks back at her. "If Andrew is the father, it could push him back into Trenyce's orbit. Considering how close you two are, I don't think you want that, do you?"

"I…uh…never thought of that," Daisy admits to her.

"If Andrew fathered Trenyce's baby, they will have a bond that can't be broken," Meggan replies to her. "Trust me, I've been trying to escape the bond that I have with Jeff for years; it's very hard to forget that man that fathered your child. So Daisy, you need to hope and pray that Chris fathered Albertinah, or I think you might lose this connection you have with Andrew."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"How is your report going?" Cheresa asks Dawn as she opens the door to the file room and sees her girlfriend sitting at one of the desks, working on her report that she is doing on the mental health of inmates. Cheresa is on a quick break from her duties at the hospital and she thought she'd pop in and see how Dawn is doing with her project.

Dawn looks up from her laptop and smiles at the sight of her girlfriend. "Hey, I'm glad you're here, I could use the break."

The couple shares a quick kiss after Dawn stands up from her chair. "And the report, it's going. I have a lot of editing, but I'll be done soon."

"Oh great," Cheresa smiles back to her. "I can read it before you turn it in and give you any pointers, if you'd like."

"I'd love that," Dawn replies to her. "I…I don't know how to tell you this, but something weird happened to me."

Cheresa arches her eyebrow back to her. "What happened, Dawn?"

"This," Dawn opens her phone and shows Cheresa the threatening text that she received from an unknown number. "I…I don't know what to make of it."

"You're going to die, bitch," Cheresa reads the message. "What the hell? Do you think it's spam? Or sent to you in error?"

"I have no idea," Dawn admits to her. "But it's spooked me. Like, if this isn't a joke, someone wants me dead, Cheresa."

Cheresa pulls her into a hug. "Nothing will happen to you," she tells her. "This is just some mistake, I am sure of it."

"I hope so," Dawn exhales slowly to her. "I really hope so."

The Park

"You filed for divorce?" Bryce asks Victoria in shock as they continue to face one another. "Vic, we…we can get through this, please tell me that you get that?"

"What I understand," Victoria replies to him quickly. "Is that you gave my brother and his husband another woman's child; they have been raising that child for years, thinking that they adopted him, but in fact, Abby's child is alive and, now, she wants him back. How do you think my brother is going to react if he loses his son? Did you think about that, Bryce?"

"You have to understand that Vinny Victors, he was blackmailing me! I…I didn't have a choice!"

"You did have a choice," Victoria corrects him. "And you choose to play God and tamper with people's lives, Bryce. This isn't the first time you've done something like this…I…I can't trust you! So yes, I filed for divorce. And, if you ever loved me, you won't contest it. I want to move on from you and from us."

"I love you," Bryce admits to her. "I don't think I will ever stop."

"Good luck with your charges," Victoria replies to him. "I think you'll need it. And like I said, don't contest the divorce, because are over, for good, Bryce."

Bryce is left alone as Victoria storms away from him. He sighs heavily and wonders if he can ever get his marriage back, or if he has truly lost Victoria for good this time.
