The Tower's; The Penthouse; Cory's Home

"I am really proud of myself," Penny says to Cory with a smile on her face as she sits on the sofa in the living room of the penthouse that she is living in with her former lover. She picks up the cup of tea that is in front of her and takes a sip, blowing on it first to ensure it's not too hot. "I made this tea all on my own."

Cory chuckles back to her. "That's incredible," he replies to her.

"I know it seems like a simple task, but considering I can't see, I have to take it as victory."

"As you should," Cory tells her. "You're going through this huge transition, every victory will make you feel more confident."

"That's true," Penny says as she takes another sip of her tea. "I…I still hope that Stephanie is able to find a way for me to get my sight back. I'm scared that I will be blind for the rest of my life."

"I know that this will sound easier than it is," Cory looks back at her. "But you have to stay positive; you have to believe that one day you will see again."

"I hope so."

Before Cory can respond, his phone starts to ring. "Excuse me for a moment," he says to Penny, who takes another sip of her tea. "Robin, hi."

Penny's ears perk up when she realizes that he is talking to Robin. She can tell that Robin is still in love with Cory, but there is a part of Penny that wants Cory for herself. She knows that they were good together; she just has to make him realize that.

"Yea, we can meet, that sounds fine," Cory tells Robin. "Yea, I'll see you in a bit."

He hangs up the phone and looks over at Penny. "That was Robin; she wants to get together, do you think you'll be fine by yourself for a while?"

Penny sighs back to him. "I'll manage," she tells him, wishing that he would stay with her. "It will be good for me to find my independence again."

Cory chuckles back to her. "That's the positive attitude I'm talking about," he says. "I won't be long, okay?"

The Calimo Mansion

Natasha stands in the living room of the Calimo mansion looking out of the French doors. The rose garden is starting to melt as spring is right around the corner, which is making Natasha happy as she gets squirrely towards the end of the winter season.

Her mind, however, is not on the season; her mind is racing over the fact that Sophie, recently, found Shane's high school yearbook, only Shane's name is listed as Derek Rainer in the book. When Natasha confronted him about it, he claimed that the editors made a typo and it wasn't caught before it went to print. She can't place it, but something still feels off about this entire situation.

"You look a million miles away," Sophie says as she moves into the living room and sees her mother at the window. "What are you thinking about?"

"Oh Soph," Natasha turns and smiles at her daughter. "I'm glad you're here; I wanted to talk to you about something."

"I'm not in trouble, am I?"

Natasha chuckles back to her. "No, of course not," Natasha replies to her. "It's about your text message that you sent me, you know the one about the conversation that you and Shane had at the hospital?"

Sophie sighs back to her. "It was so weird," Sophie admits to her. "He basically told me not to go through his belongings anymore. Finding his yearbook, it was random, I never meant to find it. But I felt like he was mad at me or something."

"I spoke to him about it," Natasha informs her. "He said that he had a rough childhood and that's why he wanted said that to you; he didn't want his past brought up again."

"I had no idea, I never meant any harm by it."

"I know you didn't," Natasha pulls her into a hug. "I think he will apologize to you, and for now, we can try to move on."

"You don't seem convinced of that," Sophie says as they exit their embrace.

"I can't place it," Natasha sighs to her daughter. "But something doesn't seem right with all of this. And I don't know what it is, but I intend to find out."

The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino

"Thanks for meeting me for a drink," Leah tells Jeff as they sit across from one another in the middle of the restaurant. Leah looks over at him and knows that their last encounter didn't end the way she wanted as she stormed away from him after finding out that he was working closely with Victoria at Robertson Enterprises. Leah still suspects that Victoria is the one that set her up to make it appear that Leah stole funds from the company, so hearing that Jeff is working with on the new project made her blood boil. "I…I wanted to apologize to you."

"Apologize?" Jeff asks her in surprise. "For what?"

"How I treated you the last time we saw," Leah admits to him. "The fact is, I was furious when you told me that you're working with Victoria but I have since calmed down; I know that you don't have a choice in the matter, I … I just want you to be careful."

"I know that you believe she set it up to make it appear that you stole that money from Robertson Enterprises," Jeff replies to her. "And I understand why you're upset, but the truth is, I do have to work with her. But I want you to know that I have my guard up; I won't trust her or anything like that."

"I appreciate that," Leah purses her lips together. "I am hoping that maybe she will slip up and reveal part of her plan?"

"I can keep my ears open for you," Jeff tells her. "Because, like you, I want you to prove your innocence. Everyone that knows you knows that you wouldn't have stolen from the company."

Before Leah can respond, Victoria arrives at the table, looking a little rattled. "I'm…I'm sorry to interrupt," Victoria says to Leah and Jeff. "But something has happened, and I need to tell you about it."

Leah rolls her eyes back to Victoria. "And what would that be?"

"Bryce," Victoria tells them. "I ran into him. He…he is back in town."

"What?" Leah gasps to her, knowing that Bryce has been laying low since he made bail. "Where is my son?"

"I don't know," Victoria admits to them. "We had some words and then I left; but when I saw you, I thought you should know that he's back."

"Thanks for letting us know," Jeff tells her. "We will try to get in touch with our son."

At the back table, Robbie and Kim sit across from another with two glasses of wine in front of them. Robbie is glad that Kim agreed to meet with him as he wanted to ensure that she is doing okay following her miscarriage; he knows that the loss of another child is hard on her, and he wants to do whatever he can to support her.

"I can't believe that Madeline left town," Kim admits to him, as Robbie told her that Madeline left town after she brought her back into town the morning after the winter storm. "I wanted to thank her for helping me the night of the storm."

"That's what I wanted to as well," Robbie tells her. "And I wanted to find out if there was any more details she could share about the baby, but she said her life changed on New Year's Eve and she wanted some space."

Kim gulps back to him as she thinks about New Year's Eve, where Robbie admitted that he slept with Madeline. "I hope she's not playing the victim," Kim replies to him. "She slept with a married man; she is just as wrong as you are with your affair."

"I am sorry about that," Robbie tells her. "I hope you can forgive me one day."

"I don't know," Kim sighs back to her husband. "This affair, it's a big part of why our baby died, Robbie. I'm trying but … I don't know…"

"I am here for you," Robbie reaches over and grabs her hand. "I won't let you go through this alone, Kim."

"But part of the reason why our baby is dead is because of you," Kim looks back at him. "And that is something I am trying to come to terms with Robbie. You never meant for this to happen, but it has happened, and I don't know if or when I'll be able to forgive you."

The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas, Donovan, Logan, & Olly's Home

"I can't believe that Abby is suing for custody," Meggan says to Lukas and Donovan as she pours herself a vodka soda from the bar in the living room of the Richardson mansion. Lukas just told his sister that Abby has filed custody papers for Olly, which has left him and Donovan rattled. They are so worried that they will lose their son.

"We knew that she was a loose cannon," Donovan tells his sister-in-law. "But the fact that she wants to rip Olly away from the only home and parents he has ever known, proves that she is an unfit mother."

"We have to find a lawyer," Lukas chimes in. "Someone that won't hold back on fighting for us."

"I agree," Donovan looks back at him. "Because I won't lose Olly, I can't lose my son."

The Lawson Estate; Cheresa & Abby's Home

"You've been quiet since we ran into Lukas and Donovan at the Pink Flamingo," Ethan tells Abby as he moves into the living room with some herbal tea for the woman that is carrying his child. He recalls how they went to the restaurant, saw Lukas and Donovan, and it ended up resulting in a verbal war with the two men raising her son. "Are you okay?"

"I am as well as to be expected," Abby sighs back to him. "I knew that Donovan and Lukas were going to be upset with my decision to sue for custody, but they were so mean and cruel."

"I imagine they are scared at the prospects of losing Sonny," Ethan says as he sits across from Abby. "They have raised Sonny since he was born, they are going to do anything they can to keep him."

"That's why I need your help with something," Abby locks eyes with him. "As my lawyer, I mean."

Ethan arches his eyebrow back to her. "What do you need from me now?" he asks her.

"I'm going to give you a very long list of actions that Lukas and Donovan have done over the years," Abby replies to him. "I want you to bring these up in court; we have to make Lukas and Donovan seem like they are not fit to raise my son."

"Abby…"

"No, Ethan," Abby sternly tells her. "We have to hit below the belt if we are going to win this case, and I can't go another day without my son. Sonny belongs with me, and this will ensure that I am awarded custody."
