*** Meanwhile, in
the penthouse, Penny sits on the sofa in the empty living room by herself. She
recalls how she and Cory were chatting when he got a call from Robin asking him
to meet her. She knows that she and Cory connected on a wonderful level when they
were on her farm, but once he returned to Twin Peaks, and his life, he has been
drawn to Robin. She slowly stands up and grabs her walking cane. She uses
it until she finds herself at the bar, where she is able to pour herself a glass
of red wine. She takes a sip of it, enjoying the feel of the alcohol. "I
needed this drink," she tells herself. "I hope my vison returns, but
it feels like I have more pressing things to worry about." She is
able to make her way back to the sofa, where she sits and sets the wine in front
of her on the coffee table. "Cory and Robin are seemingly getting closer,"
she whispers to herself. "But what we had, it was magical. I don't want to
lose him. I need to make sure Cory stays with me, in every way possible. How can
I do that?" She picks up her wine and takes another sip. "I
have to think of a way to make Cory mine, forever." The Sugarbowl
Sophie opens the door to the coffeehouse and scurries inside. She, immediately,
spots Max sitting in the back booth. Before she makes her way there, she stops
at the counter and orders an iced latte from the barista. Once she gets her drink,
she moves to the back booth and sits across from Max. "Hey,"
she says to her lover as they lock eyes. "Thanks for meeting me."
"Yea, of course," Max looks back at her. "I am guessing you
wanted to talk since we left things
uh
unsettled?" "Considering
you, once again, mentioned my insecurities, yea, I would say that's a good way
to describe it." Max looks back at her in surprise that she was so
bold with him. "I didn't mean to offend you, Soph," Max says back to
her. "I just
I guess I just get annoyed that I tell you how I feel but
you always seem to jump to these conclusions that I have feelings for other women."
"I know," Sophie sighs back to him before she takes a sip of her
latte. "It's not an excuse at all, but I am new to relationships, and I am
trying to be a good girlfriend, but I do worry that I'm not enough sometimes."
"You're more than enough," Max smiles back to her as he grabs her
hand. "Just try to believe what I tell you, okay?" "Okay,"
she smiles back to him. "Now, how about we get out of here and do
something fun? Want to go ice skating one last time this winter?" "Yea,
I'd like that a lot, Max." The Claus House; Jeff, Leah, &
Paige's Home
"What did you make of Victoria's announcement?"
Leah asks Jeff as they move into the living room of the house that they live in
together. Earlier, they had been at the Pink Flamingo when Victoria arrived at
their table and announced that she saw Bryce; no one had seen, or heard, from
their son since he was released from jail on bail after he was arrested for his
role in the baby switch. While Leah has no good feelings towards Victoria, she
is glad that she told them that she saw her estranged husband. "That
she saw Bryce?" Jeff asks her as he opens a bottle of wine at the bar and
starts to pour two glasses. "I mean, he couldn't hide away forever, could
he? It's good that he is back. I am sure he will have to face the charges against
him soon." "I wonder where he has been?" Leah asks him
back as she accepts the glass of wine from him and he sits next to her on the
sofa. "He really seemingly disappeared for a bit." "After
the truth about the baby switch came out," Jeff says as he takes a sip of
his wine. "I'm sure he was embarrassed. It happened so long ago, and he was
being blackmailed by Vinny Victors, he had reasons. I'm not excusing what he did,
but our Noah, he's not a bad person." "No, he's no," Leah
agrees with him. "He's made mistakes, including marring that woman. I'm glad
Victoria told us she saw Noah, but I can't stand the sight of her."
Jeff
chuckles back to her. "You've made that very clear," he tells her. "I
will do my best to see if I can get anything out of her regarding the stolen money
from Robertson Enterprises, but I am not sure it will work." "Just
be careful Jeff," Leah warns him. "That woman is dangerous, and my current
situation is proof of that. I know you have to work with her, but please, watch
your back." The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino
Paige
slowly walks up to the table in the back of the restaurant where Will is sitting
wearing a blazer and a polo shirt. They make eye contact and Will stands up to
greet his date for the evening, getting a smile on his face as he does. He had
asked Paige to dinner after he realized that he had to move on from his feelings
for Eva, since she has reunited with Dominick, and Paige agreed since they had
shared a kiss a few days earlier. "Wow, you look beautiful,"
Will says as he greets her and kisses her cheek. "Thanks," Paige
smiles back to him as she sits across from him. "Before we look at the menu,
you should know that my grandfather and Eva are here. They were being seated when
I got here; I said hello." "Oh really?" Will asks in surprise,
as he looks over her shoulder and sees Eva and Dominick being seated at another
table. "Do you want to go somewhere else?" Paige asks him.
"No," Will looks back at her. "I realize that I have to move
on from Eva; she is happy with Dominick, and I have to accept that. Twin Peaks,
it's a small town, we are bound to run into one another." "I'm
glad that you said that," Paige looks back at him. "Because, I like
you Will, and I think, well, to be frank, I think we could have something good
here." "Me too," Will winks back at her. "Let's get
some wine and toast to that?" "I'd love that," Paige grins
back to him. ***
Meanwhile, Eva and Dominick sit across
from one another with smiles on their faces. Dominick loves that his wife arranged
a surprise dinner out for him, since they have just recently reunited. It is events
like this that makes him realize that he made the right decision getting back
together with Eva. "It was lovely for Paige to stop by and say hi,"
Eva tells Dominick as the waiter pours two glasses of champagne, which Eva had
pre-ordered, so it was waiting for them at the table. "Yes, it was,"
Dominick says as he looks behind Eva and sees that Paige is sitting with Will.
"She's having dinner with William. That's interested." Eva looks
back and sees her former lover and Paige sitting together. "Yes, isn't that
interesting." "Are you okay?" Dominick asks her quickly.
"I know you and Will have a sorted history." "It's just
that," Eva looks back at him. "History. You're my future, and that's
all I care about." "Let's toast to that?" Dominick asks
as they raise their glasses. "To our future, let's get this right, finally
Eva. You and me, we belong together." "We most certainly do,"
Eva gushes back to him. "Cheers, Dominick." Twin Peaks General
Hospital
Dawn feels her heart racing as she moves swiftly through one
of the hallways of the hospital. She was working in the file room on her report
on the mental health of inmates when she received another threatening text message
from an unknown number. The first one said that she was going to die, and this
one is just as bad. She has no idea who is doing this to her, but she has to tell
Cheresa. "I'm so glad that you're still here," Dawn announces
to Cheresa, who is standing at the nurses station. Cheresa looks back at her girlfriend
and can tell that something is going on with her. "Yea, I just saw
my last patient, I was about to head home," Cheresa replies to her. "Are
you okay? You're white as a ghost." "It happened again,"
Dawn looks back at her as she unlocks her phone and shows Cheresa the screen.
"I got another one of those messages from the unknown number." Cheresa
gulps as she reads the new text message. "Ready to die, bitch? I can't wait
to kill you." "What the fuck is this?" Cheresa asks her
in concern. "Who could be sending you these messages?" "I..I
don't know," Dawn admits to her. "At first I thought it was the wrong
number, but now, I don't know Cheresa, I am scared." "I just
don't know who would do this to you. Or why." "Oh my God,"
Dawn gasps back at her. "I think I know who is doing this
"
"Who?" Cheresa asks her quickly. "Chantel," Dawn
looks back at her with intent. "She's furious that we have reunited, and
now, she wants to kill me. The woman you had an affair with wants me dead!"
