The Calimo Mansion
Natasha pours herself
a cup of coffee from the bar in the living room of the Calimo mansion. Her mind
is still racing on what could be going on with Shane and his past, but she knows
that she will have to figure the rest of that mystery out later, as Jacob and
Sophie are coming for breakfast. "Morning Mom," Jacob announces
as he moves into the living room. "Oh darling, I was so happy to
hear from you," Natasha rushes up to him and kisses his cheeks. "How
are you? You know Rosario is preparing all of your favorites." Jacob
chuckles back to her. "I'm fine," he tells her. "Is Dad home?"
"He had an early start at the hospital," Natasha admits to him.
"So, he will not be able to join us today." "And Sophie?"
"She should be here anytime," Natasha looks back at him. "What's
going on?" "Well, uh," begins to tell her. "I
found Cassie in the foyer," Sophie announces to her family as she moves into
the living room, with Cassie next to her. "What the hell are you
doing here?" Natasha hisses at her rival. "How dare you show up here
unannounced!" Cassie smirks back to Natasha. "She's with me,"
Jacob tells Natasha, as who looks at him in surprise. "That's what I was
trying to tell you, Mom." "Jacob, what the hell is going on?"
Natasha asks him in horror. "Cassie and I are back together,"
Jacob stuns his mother by his revelation. "We are going to make a family
with Carter." "Jacob, no," Natasha shakes her head back
to him. "This is a huge mistake!" "And if it is, it is
my mistake to make," Jacob tells her. "After everything you did before
Mom, you have to let me live my life. That's why I brought Cassie here today;
you have to get used to the idea that we are together." "I will
never get used to this," Natasha puts her coffee cup down and moves closer
to Cassie. "If you hurt one hair on Jacob's head, you will answer to me,
do I make myself clear?" "Crystal," Cassie purses her lips
together. "But trust me, Natasha, the last thing I want to do is hurt Jacob.
We are very much in love." "I'm going to be sick," Natasha
says as she rushes off. "I'll go see that she's okay," Sophie
looks at her brother. "But congratulations, you two will make a great couple."
"Thanks Soph," Jacob hugs his sister, before she leaves the living
room and chases after her mother. "That went well," Cassie chuckles
to Jacob as she moves closer to him and kisses him on the lips. "It
had to happen," he tells her. "And you know what? It could have been
a lot worse." "That's true," Cassie continues to laugh.
"She didn't slap me at least." "She's going to have to
get used to the idea of us being together," Jacob looks back at her. "Because,
I've been thinking about what you were saying before, and I think you're right
Cassie, I think we should get married. That is, if you still want too."
Cassie leaps into his arms and kisses him. When their lips part, she says,
"You know I want that, more than anything else in the world." Twin

Nicholas moves through the newspaper offices towards Andy's
desk. He knows that mornings are Andy's busiest time of the day as he is preparing
for the following mornings paper, but he hopes that he can have a few minutes
of his time because he has something special planned for him. "I
hope I am not interrupting you," Nicholas smirks as he opens the door to
the office door and sees Andy behind his desk typing into his laptop. "I
am swamped this morning as two other writers call out with the flu," Andy
replies to him without even looking up from his laptop. "So yea, you kinda
are," he chuckles to him. "Okay, sorry," Nicholas steps
into the office. "I won't stay long, since you're so busy." "Yea,
normally I'd make five, but I have like four articles I need to wrap up within
the next 30 minutes or we will miss our deadline." "Right,"
Nicholas gulps back to him. "How about after you're done, we connect? There's
something we should talk about." "Uh, sure," Andy still
doesn't make eye contact with him. "I'll text you when I'm free?"
Nicholas nods back to him and leaves the office. "Well, that didn't go
as planned." Robertson Enterprises Jeff steps out
of the elevator at Robertson Enterprises as he looks at the screen of his phone.
The previous evening, he had reached out to Bryce as he had heard that his son
was back in town. To his surprise, Bryce has responded to him and he thanked Jeff
for checking in on him. He knows that this is a huge step forward as he, Leah,
Ethan, and Bryce have been estranged for months. "You look like you're
in a good mood this morning," Victoria says as she steps out of her office
and sees Jeff looking at his phone. "What's the smile for?" Jeff
looks up at her and nods to her. "I
I actually reached out to Bryce,
and he responded to me. I
I have to take that as a good sign." "Ah,
this is because I told you and Leah that he was back?" Victoria asks as he
nods to her. "I do wonder how much trouble he will be in for the baby switch."
"Yea, I am not sure," Jeff replies to her. "You know, I can't
help but think he would be able to handle that better if you were in his corner."
"That's not going to happen." "Are you sure? You and
Bryce, you went through so much together. Are you sure that you two are really
over?" Jeff asks her as Victoria arches her eyebrow. "Yes,"
she immediately responds to him. "Bryce has hurt my brother, his husband,
and the little boy that I have believed to be my nephew for years. There's no
going back from that, Jeff. And, if I am really honest with you, I don't think
I will ever be able to forgive him." Jeff uneasily nods back to him.
"I know what he did was wrong," he admits to her. "I was just hoping
that he could have someone in his corner." "I get that,"
Victoria tells him. "But that person will not be me; not now, not ever."
The Victors Mansion; Frederick's Lair
"So, your father
reached out to you, huh?" Frederick asks Bryce as they face one another in
the living room of the Victors mansion. Frederick just heard from Bryce that Jeff
messaged him the previous evening, and he ended up responding to his father. Frederick
knows that Bryce has been estranged from Leah and Jeff since his paternity has
been revealed, so he thinks it is curious that Jeff has now reached out to him. "He
did," Bryce nods back to him. "And I responded to him. I thought it
was nice that Jeff thought of me, considering everyone hates me because of that
baby switch." "Not
everyone hates you," Frederick tells his grandson. "The truth is, you
were between a rock and a hard place. Vinny Victors, that weasel, was blackmailing
you with the fact that I was still alive. You did what you had too to help me,
and that is something that I will never forget, Bryce." "This
secret though, it has cost me everything," Bryce replies to him. "My
marriage to Victoria is over, and I might lose my freedom." "I
have a feeling that the charges against you will not stick," Frederick tells
him. "And as for Victoria, you know my feelings about her. You can do so
much better, Bryce." "But
I love her," Bryce admits to him with a heavy sigh. "I want my life,
and my wife, back." "The
first thing you need to do is get a lawyer that will help you beat these charges." "Wait,"
Bryce looks back at him. "Ethan and I are close and he is a lawyer. I will
ask my brother to help me with these charges. It could be the first step to getting
my life back." The

"I
don't have much time," Cheresa tells Dawn as they sit across from one another
in the restaurant. Cheresa knows that her sister, Abby, has asked her and Max
to help her with her custody case and they are meeting in a few minutes. Still,
Cheresa wanted to see Dawn because she has received a second threatening text
message from an unknown number. "I'm meeting Abby, Ethan, and Max soon." "I
appreciate you making time for me," Dawn tells her as she takes a sip of
her cocktail. "I am really spooked by these messages Cheresa. And
I
still think that Chantel must be the one behind them. Who else would be doing
this to me?" Cheresa
sighs back to her. "I know that's what you believe, but I know Chantel better
than you do, and I have a hard time believing that she would do this, Dawn." Dawn
looks back at her girlfriend in shock. "So you're believing your lover over
me? That's rich." "Dawn,
it's not like that." "Then
how is it?" Dawn asks her. "Someone wants me dead, Cheresa. And if it
is Chantel, then this is a bigger problem than we realize, and you're the one
that brought her into my life." "I
don't disagree, but I think we need to figure out the truth before we jump to
conclusions," Cheresa tells her quickly, just as she sees Abby, Ethan, and
Max move into the restaurant. "My sister is here
we will talk about
this later, okay?" Dawn
nods back to her as Cheresa moves over and kisses her cheek. She, then, moves
over to Abby's table, where they are just sitting down. "Hey,
thanks for meeting with us," Abby tells Cheresa and Max as they sit at her
table. "This is really important." "Your
text made it seem that way," Max replies to the group. "So, Abs, what's
going in?" "Ethan
is my lawyer in this matter," Abby informs them. "So, anything you say,
it is in confidence." "You're
scarring me," Cheresa tells her sister. "What's is this about?" "We've
sued Donovan and Lukas for custody of Sonny," Ethan reveals to the group.
"Abby wants her son back." "I
can't say that I'm shocked by that," Max says. "The
thing is," Abby looks back at him and then over at Cheresa. "I believe
this custody case will get ugly, and I will need all the support I can get." "What
do you need from us?" Cheresa asks her. "I
need you to both testify on my behalf," Abby says to them. "Tell the
court, and the judge, that I will be a good mother to my son? Help me bring Sonny
home where he belongs?" Twin

Donovan
uses the stolen swipe card and holds it up to the door reader. The light changes
to green and he opens the door to the file room and moves inside quickly. The
lights automatically go on as they are on a sensor. Donovan
looks around and realizes that he doesn't have much time before someone could
find him. "Okay,"
he says as he looks around. "I know that they were moving the files from
paper base to electronic, but they still have a lot of the files here," he
whispers to himself. "If I can find Abby's file, maybe there is something
in there that we can use to help us keep Olly. Now, I just have to find the L's,
for Lawson." He
moves around the room until he finds the L section of the files. He then scans
the files until he sees Abby's medical file. "Perfect," he says as he
grabs the file and puts it in his bag. "Time to find out what secrets you're
hiding Abby," he says with a grin on his face. Next
