Meanwhile, upstairs
in the study, Meggan moves to the bar and pours herself a vodka. She takes a long
sip of it and feels the burn down her chest, which makes her feel so much better.
She is still struggling with the fact that Jeff continues to press her to stop
drinking; she just wishes that everyone would leave her the hell alone with her
drinking. "Mom, hey," Logan announces as he moves into the study
and sees his mother at the bar. "What's going on?" "I just
thought I would have a nightcap," Meggan turns to face her son. "How
about you? Was that Sophie I saw leaving earlier?" "Yea, Sophie
was here," Logan nods to her. "We were just catching up." "You
have a thing for her, don't you?" Meggan smirks back to him as he moves to
the bar and makes himself a drink. "She is dating someone already,"
Logan tells his mother before he turns to her and takes a sip of his drink. "So
even if I did like her, nothing will happen because Sophie is with someone else."
"Take it from someone who knows," Meggan looks back at his son.
"Things in relationships can turn on a dime; you and Sophie might not be
together right now, but that could change at any time." Logan chuckles
back to her. "How about we toast to that?" as they hit their glasses
together. "This is nice," Meggan says after she takes a sip
of her drink. "You and me, having a drink together." "I
told you," Logan tells her. "You drinking doesn't impact me like it
does Dad. You have to be okay with your own life choices, and if this is a part
of it, so be it." "Thanks my baby boy," Meggan smiles at
him. "Thank you so much." Robertson Enterprises
Jeff
opens the door to the main office at Robertson Enterprises and starts to move
towards the elevators as he is wrapping up for the day. He is looking forward
to heading back to the house that he shares with Leah and Paige, having a glass
of wine, and then turning in. He and Victoria have been working hard on coming
up with something new for the company, since Tyler wants to be them back on top.
He turns his head after he pushes the elevator button and notices the light
is still on Victoria's office. He checks his watch and realizes that it is pretty
late, so he finds himself moving to her office. "Knock, knock,"
he says as he opens the door and Victoria looks up from her desk. "I'm heading
out, do you want to come?" Victoria uneasily chuckles back to him.
"I wish I could, but I feel like I have a million things to do still."
"Tomorrow is always another day," Jeff replies to her. "You
won't do yourself any good if you burn yourself out." Victoria continues
to smile at him. "Can I be honest?" she asks as he moves closer to her
desk. "Since I found out about Bryce's involvement in the baby switch, I
have turned to work a lot. It keeps me busy, and I like that." "The
revelation really rocked you, didn't it?" "More than you know,"
Victoria purses her lips together. "I thought I knew him; Bryce, he, he told
time and time again that he had no more secrets, and then I found out he did this
to my brother? Being rocked is an understatement." "I am sorry,"
Jeff looks back at her. "How about we compromise? You leave with me now and
we will stop at the Pink Flamingo for a drink? We can brainstorm and then head
home?" Victoria finds herself nodding back to him. "Okay, that
sounds nice," she tells him as she stands up. "You've convinced me."
The Victors Mansion; Frederick's Lair
Frederick sits on the
brown leather sofa in the living room of the Victors mansion, feeling a sense
of relief as Eva has told him that she will keep the fact that he and Felicia
are alive a secret. He was worried that she would tell Dominick the truth, but
the fact that she will keep mum means that he can continue to hide out until he
thinks that time is right to reveal himself. He still knows that Meggan knows
the truth, but considering she is drinking again, he can use that to his advantage.
Now, he can focus on Bryce and convincing him to move on from Victoria. He
knows that his grandson still has feelings for his wife, but after everything
that Victoria has put him through, Frederick wants his grandson to put her behind
him. He opens a screen on his IPad and sees a picture of Isabelle, from
an article on how she inherited the the River Rock Casino after Antonio's passing.
"Now that is a beautiful woman," Frederick looks at the image on
his tablet. "This is the kind of woman that Bryce should be involved with."
"Did I hear my name?" Bryce asks as he moves into the living room.
"I was just reading this article on Isabelle Moretti," Frederick
stands up and faces his grandson. "This is the kind of woman I think you
would be suited for." Bryce looks at the tablet and chuckles back
to him. "Not this again; you still think I need to move on from Victoria?"
"I don't think you do," Frederick looks back at him with intent.
"I know you do, Bryce. And Isabelle, she could be the perfect way to get
Victoria out of your system. Just think about it, okay?" Twin
Peaks General Hospital
"I didn't realize you were working the
night shift with me," Cheresa announces to Will as she moves closer to the
nurses station on the main floor of the hospital. She is happy to see a friendly
face as she is working the night shift as it can be quiet some nights."
"I am indeed," Will chuckles to her as he sets some files down on
the counter. "And I just did my last rounds for an hour, so I have some downtime."
"Ah, nice, me too," Cheresa nods back to him. "This gives us
a chance to talk, quickly?" "Uh, sure?" Will replies to
her. "What's up?" "You've become friends with Chantel,
right?" Cheresa asks him quickly. "Yea, you can say that,"
Will says back to her. "Working together with her, we have become closer.
Why, what's up?" "I don't know what she has told you about her
and I," Cheresa explains back to him. "But we had a fling; Dawn found
out and was devastated. But Dawn and I have reunited and are trying to make our
relationship work." "That's great for you two," Will tells
her. "But I do feel bad for Chantel; I know she was crushing pretty hard
on you." "I feel bad too," Cheresa admits to him. "But
the truth is, Dawn has always had my heart." "Chantel will get
over this, it might just take some time." "Yea, that's what
I was hoping until
" "Until? Until what?" Will asks
her in confusion. "Until Dawn started getting these threatening text
messages from an unknown number," Cheresa explains to her. "They started
coming in after Chantel found out that we were going to reunite." "And
you think Chantel is sending these messages?" "I don't know
what to think," Cheresa sighs to him. "But Dawn seems convinced that
they are coming from Chantel. As Chantel's friend, what do you think? Do you think
that she could be the one sending these messages to Dawn?" "From
my interactions with Chantel, I would be shocked if she was the one sending the
messages," Will tells her. "I'm sorry that Dawn is going through this,
but I don't think Chantel is the one behind the messages." The
Tower's, Floor One; Andy & Nicholas' Condo "I know it's late,
I should get going," Kim tells Andy as she stands up from the sofa in her
brother's condo and moves towards the door. "But thanks for having me for
dinner; I know you and Nicholas wanted some alone time since you are planning
your wedding." "Don't worry about it," Andy hugs her. "I
know that you're going through a difficult time right now; you're always welcome
here, you know that." "Thanks," Kim purses her lips back
to him. "It's just
losing this baby has hit me so hard, Andy. I feel
like I am cursed; every time I think that I am going to be a mother, something
happens. And it always seems to stem from something Robbie has done."
"He wanted your baby just as much as you did," Andy tells her. "Sleeping
with Madeline was a mistake, but he never meant for that to happen."
"He never does," Kim whispers back to him. "But these things
keep happening, and, to be honest Andy, I don't know if I can keep doing this
song and dance with Robbie. This
this might be the final straw for us, once
and for all." The Calimo Mansion
Robbie stands in the
living room of the Calimo mansion and pours himself a scotch from the bar, which
he immediately takes a sip of. His mind is racing over the fact that he and Kim
are, once again, on the rocks because she blames him for the death of their baby.
While he knows that he did sleep with Madeline, he never forced Kim to drive to
the cabin in a snowstorm, but he also doesn't want to point fingers at her.
"That drink looks stiff," Natasha chuckles as she moves into the
living room. "Rough day?" "You can say that again,"
Robbie sighs back to his sister. "I don't know Nat, I think that I've lost
Kim, for good this time. I don't think she will be able to forgive me for sleeping
with Madeline." Natasha moves closer to her brother. "You and
Kim have been through so much, Robbie," she reminds him. "This too will
pass, I can't imagine she will want to throw everything you have together away."
"I hope you're right," he sighs back to her. "I love her so
much, and this just feels final." "Don't give up, okay?"
Natasha tries to encourage him. "I think you two will make it to the other
side in all this." "Thanks," Robbie forces a smile on his
face as he sets his glass down. "I'm going to turn in, talk to you tomorrow."
"Night," Natasha tells her brother, as he leaves the living room.
Once she is alone, Natasha grabs her phone and looks at the screen. Her mind is
still racing over this ordeal with Shane
having the name Derek Rainer in his high school yearbook; he has told her that
the yearbook had a typo and the editors didn't catch it before it went to press,
but what continues to trouble her is how Shane lashed out at Sophie, since she
is the one that found his yearbook. "I need to go to Detriot,"
she whispers to herself. "Maybe if I visit Shane's high school, I will get
more answers. I will book my flight tomorrow, and tell him that I have a business
trip. I'll be gone two days, at most, but I could find out what Shane is really
hiding." The Lawson Estate; Abby & Cheresa's Home
Ethan
sits on the sofa in the living room of the Lawson estate while Abby is cleaning
up the herbal that they shared before they are going to bed. Ethan stares at his
phone in shock, however, as he got a message from Bryce asking him to represent
him in the baby switch charges that he has against him. Ethan knows that if he
agrees to support his brother, Abby will lose it because the baby that Bryce stole
was hers. Still, he can't help but wonder if he would help Bryce, since they bonded
after the truth about their paternity came out. "Hey, I'm going to
call Andrew one more time and then crash," Abby says as she moves into the
living room, causing Ethan to put his phone down. "I just want to ensure
that he will testify at the trial." "Okay, sounds good,"
Ethan replies to her, not wanting to tell her about Bryce's request right now.
The last thing he wants to do is upset her to the point where she will not be
able to sleep, or get worked up, since she is pregnant with his child. "I'll
head up and see you soon. And Abs, I hope Andrew agrees to help you."
"Thanks," Abby says as Ethan leaves the room and heads upstairs.
Abby, then, grabs her phone and dials Andrew's number. "Andrew, hi, I'm sorry
it is so late, but I needed to know if you have made up your mind about testifying
at my trial to get Sonny back?" Abby pauses as she listens to Andrew's
response. "Thank you so much for agreeing to testify, I owe you one. Together,
we will get our son back, I know you will." The Richardson Estate;
Meggan, Lukas, Donovan, Logan, & Olly's Home
"Come on, Lukas,"
Donovan looks at his husband with intent. "What did you think you found on
Abby?" Lukas looks back at him with intent. "A few months before
Olly was born," Lukas replies to him. "Abby had a paternity test done,"
he shows Donovan the page from her file. "Why would she need to have a paternity
test completed?" Donovan looks at the file in shock before he looks
at Lukas. "Do you think that Andrew is the biological father?" he asks
his husband in shock. "If Abby is lying about the father of our son, this
could be the smoking gun that we need to keep Olly with us
" "This
will ensure we don't lose Olly," Lukas smiles back to him. "I am sure
of it." Next on One Day at a Time - Will & Eva come
