The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino

Sophie picks up her coffee as a new morning in Twin Peaks has begun. Across from her in the restaurant is Max, who is joining her for breakfast. The air between them is still tense as they had a tiff about his friendship with Abby, which caused some insecurities for Sophie as she is in her first-ever relationship with a man. Max told her that he wouldn't handle her insecurities, and she agreed to try to put them behind her.

"Abby's trial must be coming up soon," she finally breaks the silence between them. "I am guessing that means that you will be in court with her?"

"She asked me to be there, yes," Max nods back to her. "She even asked if I would testify on her behalf."

"Oh wow," Sophie replies to him quickly. "Are you ready for that?"

"I mean, I don't know if her lawyer will call me to the stand, I think it will depend how the trial is going. How are you feeling about me supporting Abby?" he asks her as their eyes lock.

Sophie gulps heavily to him before she takes another sip of her coffee. "The old me would have been worried and nervous," she replies to him after she swallows her coffee. "But the new me is proud of you, Max. Your friend needs you and you're supporting her in every way you can. That makes you a good friend."

"Thanks Soph," Max smiles back to her. "I appreciate that, more than you know."

Meanwhile at the bar, Logan watches the sweet scene unfold and he rolls his eyes. He had hoped that the tiff that Max and Sophie had would caused them break up; secretly, he has been crushing on Sophie, so he wanted them to break up so he could make his move on her. Now, he can see that they are happy, despite Max's friendship with Abby.

"I'll have a double Bloody Mary," Logan tells the bartender, who nods back to him. The sight of Max and Sophie is sending him to have a drink.

At another table, Isabelle sits with a mimosa in front of her as she looks at the latest sale figures from the casino. Since her father, Antonio's, murder, she has taken over the casino, and she is thrilled with the latest numbers that she is seeing. The casino is doing better than ever, and she couldn't be happier.

Behind her, Bryce appears and arches his eyebrow. He recalls how Frederick sent him to the restaurant to pick up some takeout, but now that he sees Isabelle, he can't help but wonder if Frederick arranged this. The previous night, Frederick showed Bryce a picture of Isabelle and suggested that she was the kind of woman that he should be with. Bryce realizes that Frederick is pushing him to move on from Victoria because Frederick doesn't believe his estranged wife is the woman for him.

He finds himself moving towards Isabelle's table. "Morning," he says as he looks at Isabelle. "Rumor has it that you're the owner of this casino?"

Isabelle purses her lips together. "The rumors are true," she tells him. "I inherited the business when my father passed away."

"Oh, I'm so sorry," Bryce says as he sits across from her. "That must have been bittersweet; you get this great business to run, but lost the man that gave you life."

"It's been the hardest thing I've ever gone through," Isabelle whispers back to him. "But enough of that, I am in a good place, and am trying to keep it that way. I'm Isabelle Moretti, by the way."

"Bryce Barty," he extends his hand her. "Pleasure to meet you, Isabelle."

"Oh, the pleasure is all mine," Isabelle replies to him quickly.

At the table in the back, Andy and Nicholas are huddled together looking at Andy's IPad screen as they are trying to come up with some wedding ideas. The previous day, Nicholas asked Andy for them to move forward with their wedding planning since Clayton has agreed to let their past be the past.

"What color of tuxes do you like?" Andy asks Nicholas as they look at a screen of male models wearing various tuxedos.

"What if I wear the mint green one and you wear the canary yellow?" Nicholas asks him with a chuckle in his hand.

"Are you thinking of an Easter wedding? Cause that might work…"

"I was teasing!" Nicholas continues to chuckle to his fiancé. "I actually prefer the white or black ones, you know, more traditional."

"You traditional?" Andy asks him with a sly grin. "I never would have guessed."

"You're teasing me," Nicholas leans in and kisses Andy. "And I like it."

"I love you," Andy replies to him as Clayton sees them as he moves to his table. "I can't wait to be your husband."

"Ditto," Nicholas smiles back to him, as Clayton feels his heart skip a beat, hearing that the two men are planning their wedding after all.

On the other side of the bar from Logan, Stephanie sits by herself with a glass of white wine in front of her. She is looking on her phone with a grin on her face as the latest tic tok video is amusing to her. She takes a sip of her wine as she reflects on the year; she was able to help Penny come out of her coma, which left Cory and Robin thrilled. The downside is that Penny was left blind from her accident, so Stephanie is still working with her on getting better.

"Somehow, I will have help Penny regain her memory," she whispers to herself as she takes a sip of her wine. "The swelling in the brain, it will have to come down eventually, and then I hope she will regain her vision."

She looks up and feels her heart skip a beat when a man is grabbing some takeout. She thinks she has seen him before but she can't place it from where.

"Here you go Jacob," the bartender says as Jacob accepts the bag from the bartender.

"Thanks a lot, keep the change," Jacob replies to him as the bartender smiles back to him. Jacob turns to leave but he sees Stephanie looking over at him. He finds himself moving over to her.

"Hey, you're that doctor, right?" Jacob asks her. "The one that pulled Dominick Robertson from his coma?"

"That's me," Stephanie replies to him. "Stephanie Clarke," she extends her hand to Jacob.

"Jacob Calimo," he replies to her. "I've heard you're a miracle worker."

Stephanie chuckles back to him. "I don't know about that, I just do my job," she tells him. "But if you need a miracle one day, come find me."

"I'll do just that," Jacob tells her. "It was nice to meet you."

"Likewise, Jacob," Stephanie purses her lips together, as she continues to eye Jacob up and down.

The Cascade Apartments; Cassie & Carter's Home

"Do you need anything else Carter?" Cassie asks her son, who is playing on the living room floor with some action figures that he likes.

"No, I'm having fun with Batman, Mom!" Carter replies to her as he pretends the figure is flying in the air.

"Okay, Mommy is going to do some work, but I'll be right here," Cassie says as she grabs her tablet and opens it. The internet pages are filled with wedding ideas for her wedding with Jacob. She gets a smile on her face as she thinks about saying "I do" with the man that she lives. After everything they've been through, she almost can't believe that they are in a position to get married, but here they are.

"I will make sure this wedding is the most magical of days," Cassie whispers to herself. "And this time, no one will stop us from being together, Jacob. This is finally our time to shine."

The Sugarbowl

Kim opens the door to the coffeehouse, and she moves inside as she is desperate for another coffee. She hasn't been sleeping well because her mind can't stop thinking about Robbie's affair with Madeline, her car accident, and her miscarriage. Now, she and Robbie are, once again, estranged, and she has no idea if she and her husband will ever be able to reconcile again. She told Andy that she wants this merry-go-round with Robbie to finally be over, but she is worried that it means another divorce.

After she orders her coffee, she happens to see Tyler sitting in the back booth by himself, so she moves up to her former lover. "We meet again," she says as she sits across from him.

"Hey, Kim," he says back to her. "I've been thinking about you; how are you? Or do I even have to ask?"

Kim nervously chuckles back to him. "You don't have to ask," she whispers back to him. "Every day, I ask myself so many questions that I don't think I will ever get the answers too."

"I can't imagine how difficult this time has been for you," Tyler reaches over and grabs her hand. "You know that I am here for you, right?"

"I do," she nods to him. "And I appreciate that, Tyler. I really do."

"Have you given any thoughts about how you're going to move forward with Robbie?" Tyler asks her.

"I have no idea," Kim admits to him. "I…I think my marriage is over though. I don't see Robbie and I coming back from this."

"I'm sorry," Tyler tells her. "I know how much you two have been together. But I understand why you'd want a divorce. He…he slept with Madeline."

"This is just such a mess," Kim whispers to him before she takes a sip of her coffee.

"I wonder if Madeline will come back? Her leaving town seems…interesting?"

"I have no idea," Kim tells him. "While she saved my life the night of the snowstorm, I really don't care if I ever see that woman again."

Will opens the door to the coffee house and is about to move into the lineup to place his order when he sees Eva sitting by herself at the window seat. He arches his eyebrow at the sight as the last time he saw Eva, she and Dominick were seemingly having a nice dinner at the Pink Flamingo; he can't help but wonder why she is now alone at the coffee house.

"Morning," Will says as he sits next to her. "You look a million miles away."

"I guess I was deep in thought," Eva replies to him. "How are you, Will?"

"I'm…I'm good," he admits to her. "I'm, well if I am honest, I am sort of seeing someone new."

Eva looks back at him in surprise. "A new girl? That's interesting."

Will chuckles to her. "Is it? You made it clear that you wanted to be with Dominick; while, it hurt, I didn't want to wait around forever."

Eva sighs back to him. "I don't blame you," Eva tells him. "You deserve to be with a woman that is ready to be with you, Will. You really do."

"Why are you so sad when you say that?" Will asks her, noting that she is getting tears in her eyes. "What's going on?"

Eva waves her hand in the air. "It's nothing…" she whispers as a tear falls down her cheek. "It's just…Dominick and I…it's not the same this time, and I don't know if that's good or bad."

"Of course," Will grabs her hand. "You have both changed, it could never be the same. And it's still so fresh, Eva, so just give it time. If you and Dominick want to be together, you will come together in this change, not be driven apart."

Eva smiles through another tear. "This new girl, she's a lucky woman, Will. Very lucky."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"We still have a few hours to go before the DNA test," Chris tells Trenyce as they sit next to one another in a waiting room of the hospital, while Albertinah sleeps in her stroller. They are at the hospital to have the DNA test performed on Albertinah to see who her father is, Chris or Andrew.

"I know," Trenyce nods back to him. "The truth is, I have been going stir crazy waiting, I wanted to get here as soon as possible, hoping that, maybe, they could squeeze us in sooner."

"I've been eager for this day as well," Chris admits to her. "The unknown has been killing me."

"By the end of the day, we will know the truth," Trenyce tells him as they lock eyes. "And you know what I think?"

"What's that?"

"I think if Albertinah turns out to be your daughter after all," Trenyce reveals to him. "That it would be a sign for us, Chris. It really would."

"A sign?" Chris asks her in confusion. "What kind of a sign?"

"That we should be together as a family," Trenyce admits to him. "You, me, BJ, and Albertinah; the way it was always meant to be. I know that you're still hurt about my affair, but Chris, that was so long ago, and in the past; if Tinah is our daughter, let's put that all behind us and be a family once again?"

Meanwhile, in the file room, Dawn sits at a computer and types quickly as she is still working on her report about the mental health on inmates and what recommendations that she has to improve the conditions for them.

Her mind, however, is on the fact that she has been receiving threatening text messages from an unknown number. After the first text, she blocked the number, but a second message was received, this time, the number had already been blocked. Dawn can't help but think that Chantel is behind the messages because she and Cheresa have reunited, and Chantel had hoped that she and Cheresa would have a relationship.

Just then, her phone pings. Dawn nervously looks at it for a moment before she turns it over. "It's probably just Cheresa making dinner plans," she whispers to herself before she gasps as she sees another text from an unknown number.

"I can't wait to watch you die a slow death," she reads the text as she slams her phone down and covers her mouth in shock as her eyes fill with water.

"This has to stop Chantel," she whispers to herself as a tear falls down her cheek. "This has to stop!"
