In the back aisle,
Meggan looks at the door and hopes that Logan hurries back as he ran to the restroom.
She doesn't want her son to interrupt the hearing, but she does realize that she
can use this chance to take a secret swig of vodka from the flask she brought.
She opens her purse and pulls out the flask, and then she takes a mouthful
of the vodka before she puts it back into her purse. She checks the screen
of her phone and doesn't see a new message. She opens the phone, however, and
goes to her pictures. She finds one of her, Lukas, Logan and Frederick from years
earlier. She feels her heart start to race at the sight of her father; he set
so many wicked plans into motion, including faking Noah's death all those years
ago, supposedly to help her stop drinking. "Are you happy now?"
she whispers to the picture. "I'm drinking again, and you, I hope you're
rotting in hell." The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino
"Thanks again for not being upset that I kissed you earlier," Bryce
chuckles to Isabelle as they continue to sit across from one another in the restaurant.
While Bryce knows that he was trying to make Victoria jealous when he kissed Isabelle,
he can't deny that he enjoyed the kiss with the woman sitting across from him.
"Like I said," Isabelle purses her lips together as she looks back
at the attractive man across from her. "I enjoyed it; it was unexpected,
but that was half the excitement." "And the other half of the
excitement?" Isabelle chuckles to him. "You're a very attractive
man, Bryce," she admits to him. "Any woman can see that." "Well
thanks," Bryce grins back to her. "You're beautiful, Isabelle."
Before she can respond, Bryce's phone starts to ring. "Excuse me for
a moment," he says as he puts his phone to his year. "Bryce Barty
oh detective Lopez, how can I, uh, help you?" Isabelle arches her
eyebrow as Bryce nods while listening to Simona talk to him. "Are you sure?
This is very unexpected, but a pleasant surprise!
Yes, thank you, thank
you very much!" "What was that about?" Isabelle asks him
as Bryce ends the call. "Remember I was just telling you about the
charges that were against me?" "And your brother refused to
help you?" "Right," Bryce grins back to her. "Well,
Simona just told me that the charges were dropped. I guess they didn't have enough
evidence and it was mostly hearsay, so they don't think the charges would stick
in court." "Congratulations, that is very exciting for you!"
"It is," Bryce looks back at her. "Do you want to celebrate
with me?" "Uh, sure?" Isabelle replies to him. "What
did you have in mind?" "Come with me," Bryce stands up
and grabs her hand. "I'll show you what I mean." D.S. Mackenzie
High Schol, Detroit, Michigan
"It is not often we have someone
as famous as you visit our high school," Birdy Branston smiles to Natasha
as they face one another in the main office of the high school that Shane
went too. Natasha arrived earlier at the school in hopes of finding out
more about her fiance's past. She happened to see a picture of him playing football,
but the headline once again referred to Shane as Derek Rainer, which has left
Natasha's head spinning. Natasha chuckles back to the head secretary of
the school. "You're very sweet for saying so," Natasha tells her. "It
is always nice to hear that people have followed my family and our company for
years." "I wear the Pink Diamonds perfume all the time, even
though that launch party
" "Let's not bring that up,"
Natasha chuckles back to her. "But as I was telling you, my fiancé
came to this school, and that's why I was curious about it." "Your
fiancé?" Birdy asks her back. "And who is he? I've been here
for decades, so I know almost all of the kids. My memory isn't as sharp as it
used to be, however." "Derek, Derek Rainer," Natasha replies
to her quickly. "Oh Derek, yes," Birdy chuckles back to her.
"Yes, he was an all-star quarterback for our football team. It's a shame
he didn't get a scholarship, but his passion for the game changed after the accident
"
"Accident? What accident?" Natasha asks her. "I'm surprised
he didn't tell you about it," Birdy admits to her. "Could I
get the Rainer's home address?" Natasha asks her. "I'm here on business
and would love to pop into see his family while I'm here." "I'm
afraid I couldn't do that," Birdy tells her. "The records are private
and confidential. But I'm sure if you texted Derek, he'd help you out?"
"Yes, yes, he would," Natasha forces a smile on her face, just as
a bell rings. "Oh excuse me," Birdy replies to her. "I'll
need to help out with the hallway patrol. You can see yourself out?"
"Of course, thank you for all your help." Birdy smiles and
waves to Natasha before she exits the office. Once she is alone, Natasha turns
the computer and types in the name Derek Rainer. The profile of the student comes
up, and Natasha takes a picture of the home address with her phone. "Okay,
let's see if your parents still live here," she whispers to herself before
she leaves the office quickly. The Calimo Mansion
Shane
pours himself a cup of coffee from the bar in the living room of the Calimo mansion.
He is enjoying a relaxing morning as he doesn't have to be at the hospital until
later in the day. And Natasha has left for a business trip, so he is enjoying
some peace and quiet. While he doesn't always enjoy when Natasha travels for work,
he is glad that she is away right now because she had been pressing him about
his high school yearbook and snapping at Sophie for bringing out of the attic.
The last thing he wants to do is rehash his past. "Maybe this trip
will give Natasha some peace of mind about what I have told her," he whispers
to himself before he takes a sip of his coffee. "I want nothing more to leave
the past where it is
the past." "Morning Shane,"
Sophie says as she moves into the living room. Shane turns to face his stepdaughter
and nods back to her. "Day off today?" "I have to head
into the hospital this afternoon," Shane reveals to her. "How about
you? Holding down the fort at Roboto while your Mom is away on business?"
"I'll head into the office yea," Sophie replies to him. "But
I don't think my Mom is on a business trip?" "Really? Why would
you say that? She told me she was going out of town on business?" "Yea,
that's what she told me too," Sophie reveals to him. "But I heard her
on the phone with the pilot of the jet and she said that she wanted to go to Detroit.
As far as I know, we don't have any business going on in Detroit." Shane
feels the blood drain from his face at the idea that Natasha went to his hometown.
"I see," Shane forces an uneasy smile on his face. "I am sure it
is a simple misunderstanding." "Yea, I think so too," Sophie
smiles back to him, unaware that she has just opened a can of words that she might
not be able to close. Twin Peaks General Hospital
"Can
you explain how this will work?" Trenyce asks Stephanie as they stand facing
one another in a hospital room, while Chris, Andrew, and Daisy look on. On the
small bed, Albertinah is laying down as the DNA test is about to happen to prove
whether Chris or Andrew is her father. "It is very simple,"
Stephanie looks back at Trenyce, and then the others in the family. "I will
take a swab from Albertinah's mouth. Then, I will take a swab from both Chris
and Andrew. I will analyze the DNA and we will find out who the father of the
baby girl is." "That seems easy enough," Daisy tells the
room. "And pretty painless." "Oh yes, this precious little
girl won't feel a thing," Stephanie chuckles back to her. "And
one final question before we do this test," Andrew tells her. "How long
before we get the results? I
I have to get back to the courthouse to support
my friend." "It shouldn't take too long at all," Stephanie
tells them. "I might have the results later today, tomorrow the very latest."
"Soon," Trenyce whispers as she looks at Chris. "We will know
the truth, and then we can all relax." The Claus House; Leah,
Jeff, & Paige's Home Paige paces back and forth in her bedroom
as her mind races about the fact that she could be pregnant with Will's baby.
Everything has happened so quickly in her mind; she and Will have really only
had one date, but they slept together, without using protection, which she is
kicking herself for now. Earlier in the day, she felt rather faint, and then she
realized that she is late for her period. She went to the drug store and
bought a home pregnancy test, and she is currently waiting for those results.
"How could I have been so stupid to sleep with a man so soon and not
use protection?" she sighs to herself. "My
my entire life might
change because of that mistake, and God knows if Will and I are even in a serious
relationship." She recalls how Will told her that is he trying, but
he does still have feelings for Eva. "He still cares for Eva, and now, I
might be having his baby. What a mess!" She looks at her phone, which
she set a digital timer for. "I still have seven minutes to wait," she
sighs to herself. "These are going to be the longest seven minutes of my
life." Twin Peaks Executive Hotel
Will opens the door
to his hotel suite and moves inside quickly with Eva following him. They were
talking at the Sugarbowl, where Eva admitted to him that Dominick feels like something
is missing in their relationship. Will asked her how many times Dominick had to
hurt her before she would leave him and professed his love to her. He, then, kissed
her, and they came back to the hotel. Once the door to the suite closes,
Will moves up to Eva and kisses her more passionately this time. Their lips part
and he looks into her eyes. "God, you're so beautiful," he whispers
to her. "I want you so badly." "I
I don't know,"
she whispers back to him. He kisses her again. "Let me show that
I'm the only man that can make you feel this wanted, this desired," he tells
her as he kisses her again. Without hesitation, Eva starts to unbutton
his shirt, which reveals his muscular chest. "God help me," she says
in between moans. "I want you, Will. Make love to me, please make love to
me." Twin Peaks Law Courts
Victoria settles into the
witness stand after she is sworn in. At the same time, Josh stands up and approaches
her. "Victoria, can you explain your relationship to my client?"
Josh asks her first. "Yes, of course," Victoria purses her lips
together. "Donovan, he is my brother. And Lukas, he is my brother-in-law.
They have been married for years now." "And you and your brother,
you're close?" Victoria chuckles back to him. "That's an understatement.
Donovan and I are thick as thieves. We
we through hell growing up with an
abusive father. We were all the other had in some very dark times. There's nothing
I wouldn't do for him." Donovan smiles to his sister at her kind
words. He turns back is still alarmed when he doesn't see Eva in the court room.
"Since you and Donovan are so close, is it safe to assume that you have
seen him, and Lukas, with Olly, the boy that they adopted?" "Yes,
I am very close to my nephew too." "And what kind of parents
would you say Donovan and Lukas are?" Josh asks her next. "They
are so very loving; both Lukas and Donovan changed when they became parents to
that little boy," Victoria tells the court. "Olly is the luckiest boy
in the world to have them as his parents." "You're a doctor
as well, is that right?" "I haven't practiced in a while, but
yes, I am a doctor." "In your medical opinion, what would happen
to Olly if he were to be removed from the only home he has known?" "Objection!"
Ethan stands up furiously. "The witness isn't a psychiatrist!" "Sustained,
move on Mr. Levitt," Franklin tells him quickly. "No further
questions at this time your honor," Josh replies to him, as Ethan stands
back up and moves closer to Victoria. "Ms. Franky," Ethan looks
at her with a grin on his face. "You said you and your brother had a difficult
childhood, because of abuse?" "Yes, that's correct."
"Has that abuse had any lingering effects on you or your brother?"
Ethan asks her quickly. "What
what do you mean?" Victoria
tries to prevent her lower lip from quivering. "You've never had
any mental health issues as a result? Or Donovan?" "I
I've
had issues in the past, but everyone has, Mr. Alexander." "Answer
the question," Ethan presses. "Objection!" Josh stands
up in protest. "How is this relevant?" "I'm building character
and trying to understand the credibility of this witness, and the household that
the child in question is being raised in," Ethan defends his question to
the Judge. "I'll allow it, continue Ms. Franky," the judge orders
her. "I've suffered with multiple personalities in the past, but
I am perfectly healthy now," Victoria manages to say. "And if Donovan
has any issues, you'd have to ask him." "Multiple personalities?
And what have these, personalities, done while they were in control of you? Buried
someone alive, perhaps? Falsely diagnosed a man with HIV? Burnt a house down while
the owners were still inside? Do any of these ring a bell?" "I
wasn't well," Victoria whispers back to him. "And I feel awful for what
happened." "Do you think, in your medical opinion, that it would
be safe for a child to be around someone suffering from DID?" Ethan asks
her next. "I don't have DID!" Victoria shrieks back to him.
"I am healthy! I would
never
hurt Olly!" "You
wouldn't, but would your other personalities?" Ethan asks her quickly, as
Victoria feels her blood start to boil. "How dare you!" Victoria
hisses back to him. "You have no idea what you're talking about!"
"Order in the court!" Franklin smashes his mallet down. "I
will not tolerate another outburst, is that clear?" "It's all
good your honor, I have no further questions," Ethan says as he turns to
face Abby, who has a grin on her face. Victoria looks at Donovan and Lukas
with despair, worried that she has ruined their chances at keeping their son.
