Twin Peaks Law Courts

The chatter from the attendees of the custody hearing start to quiet down as Franklin Ross makes his way back to his Judge's seat as the short recess in the case has come to an end. He smashes the mallet down quickly before he looks over at Josh Levitt, Lukas and Donovan's lawyer.

"Mr. Levitt," Franklin announces. "Please call your next witness."

Josh stands up and looks down at his clients, who are eager for it to be their turn to fight for Olly. "We call Abigail Lawson," he announces as a murmur comes through the courtroom, surprised that Ethan didn't call her, which he didn't because he already saw her listed on Josh's witness list.

Abby slowly stands up and moves to the witness stand, her large stomach showing as she is very pregnant. In the stand, Andrew and Max sit next to one another and try to catch her eyes for support. Abby sits down and is quickly sworn in, allowing Josh to begin his line of questioning.

"Ms. Lawson," he begins as he moves closer to her. "It is the court's understanding that you conspired with your friend, Max Black, to break up Andrew Pherson and his then girlfriend, Paige Claus," he continues. "Because you wanted to date Andrew for yourself."

"I believe those words are harsh and negative," Abby shakes her head back to him. "Did I want to have a relationship with Andrew? Yes, yes, I did. And eventually, we slept together and had a child together. A child that I was told was dead!"

"I'll ask the questions," Josh cuts her off. "Don't go on tangents, or I'll have the Judge fine you for contempt."

"But…"

"Did you not make it appear that you and Andrew slept together to make Paige break up with Andrew?"

Abby gulps heavily as she thinks back to that time of her life. She was determined to be with Andrew, which included making it appear that she was sleeping with Andrew so Paige would end their relationship. "I can't help what Paige may or may not have determined," she replies to him. "But at the time, Andrew and I were not sleeping together, that much is certain."

"Who were you sleeping with at the time?" Josh asks her next.

"Objection!" Ethan stands up from his chair in a furry. "Relevance?"

"I'm making a point, I promise," Josh looks back at Franklin.

"Make it fast, Mr. Levitt," the judge replies to him.

"I'll ask you again," Josh looks at Abby with intent. "During that time, who were you involved with, Ms. Lawson?"

"Uh, no one," Abby shakes her head back to him.

"So, what you're telling me, is that there is no way any other man other than Andrew could be the father of Olly?" Josh asks her. "No one at all?"

"Of course not!"

"Then, Ms. Lawson," Josh glares at her with intent. "Please tell the court why you had a paternity test completed at a local medical clinic; if you had no hesitation about who the father of your baby was, why did you need a paternity test?"

Twin Peaks Executive Hotel

Will paces back and forth in his hotel suite as his mind races about what happened in the day. He saw Eva at the coffeehouse where she admitted that Dominick had felt like something was missing between them in the reunion. Will took the opportunity to remind her that he would never treat her that way and that she is the only woman for him. They ended up kissing, which resulted in them coming back to his suite where they made love. After they were done, Eva told him that while she needed him, she still wanted to be with Dominick. Furious that, once again, Eva used him for her own needs, Will threw her out. He can't believe that Eva has continued to use him for her sexual frustrations; he hates that he has pleaded his love to her over and over, and time and time again, she goes back to Dominick.

"You've used me for the last time," Will grits his teeth together as he pours himself a scotch from the mini-bar in the room. "I won't let you always use me when things go shitty for you and Dominick."

He takes a quick swig of the drink and then gets a twinkle in his eyes. "Wait, that's it," he whispers to himself. "That's how I can get back at you for using me. Oh Eva, you will regret the day that you used me to feel better."

The Little Neon Chapel, Las Vegas, Nevada

Bright neon lights are flashing in the small chapel that is just off the strip in Las Vegas. At the back of the small altar, Jacob and Cassie stand next to one another, each with butterflies in their stomach. Earlier, Cassie suggested to him that they elope instead of having a big, splashy wedding. To her surprise, he agreed, and they quickly flew to Las Vegas. Now, they are minutes away from being husband and wife.

"Are you sure that you want to go through with this wedding?" Cassie asks Jacob as she bites her lower lip, hoping that he hasn't had second thoughts.

"Of course, I do," Jacob smiles back to her before he leans in and kisses her on the lips. "I want to be your husband more than anything else," he tells her. "Are you having second thoughts?"

Cassie shakes her head back to him. "You have to know how long I have wanted to be with you," she giggles to him. "This day, this wedding, it's a dream come true."

"Then let's make every dream a reality," Jacob winks back at her. He grabs her hand as some electric version of the wedding march, both eager to start their lives together as man and wife.

Detroit, Michigan

Natasha slowly walks up the front walkway of the house of the address that she got from Shane's high school. When she was there earlier, she happened to get the address of Derek Rainer, the name that is under Shane's picture in his yearbook. She knows that her fiancé has explained the mismatch, but she hasn't been able to shake this sinking feeling that there is more to the story. Once she was at the high school, she saw another picture of Shane with a news headline referring to him as Derek Rainer, a star quarterback on the football team.

She has no idea if the Rainer's are still living in the house, or what they will be able to tell her, but she thought it was worth a shot to see.

She presses the doorbell and feels the butterflies in her stomach flutter around. Within a few minutes, an older gentleman opens the door. He leaves the screen door closed however.

"May I help you?" he asks through the screen door.

"I…uh…I hope so," she replies to him. "My name is Natasha Calimo, and I'm…I guess I'm looking for someone."

"And who might that be?" he asks her quickly.

"Shane? Or maybe he goes by Derek? Derek Rainer?" Natasha asks him back quickly.

"Get off my property," he grits his teeth together. "And don't you ever come back here, you understand me?"

Before Natasha can respond, the door slams closed and she's left on the porch, wondering what just happened and why the older man was so upset about hearing the name Derek Rainer.

Twin Peaks General Hospital

Daisy feels some sweat form on her forehead as she moves down a hallway of the hospital. Earlier in the day, the DNA test took place on Albertinah, and she just saw Andrew off as he went back to the courthouse to support Abby. Daisy, however, can't stop thinking about the fact that Meggan told her that if Andrew turns out to be the father of Albertinah, she could lose him to Trenyce. This is coupled on top of the fact that she saw Andrew and Trenyce in an embrace before the DNA test happened. She is worried about what will happen if the truth comes up.

She approaches the door to the lab and peers inside. She finds herself opening the door and moving inside. She looks around and doesn't see any staff members around, so she moves to the counter and looks for the most recent files. She then finds Albertinah's file and opens it.

Without hesitation, she moves to the computer and starts to file Albertinah's digital file. "I won't lose you, Andrew. I won't…" she whispers as she continues to type furiously into the computer.

The Claus House; Leah, Jeff, & Paige's Home

Paige sits on her bed scrolling through Instagram, as she is trying to still pass the time as her home-pregnancy test is pending results. Earlier in the day, she felt faint at the office, and then, she realized that she was late with her period. Worried that she might be pregnant with Will's child, she bought a pregnancy test and is now waiting for it. While she casually looks at her feed, she can't help but feel apprehensive about the test results.

"Two more minutes," she says as she looks at the timer she set on her phone. "Okay, just stay calm. The chances are, you're not pregnant. You and Will only had sex once, so the chances that you got pregnant are slim to none."

"You'll be fine, you will be okay," she takes a deep breath as her timer goes off. "Here we go."

She crawls off her bed and moves to the bathroom. She slowly walks up to the counter and picks up the pregnancy test. She then looks at the box to confirm what the lines mean.

"Two lines equals pregnant," she says as she looks back at the test and sees two lines. She sets the test down and grabs her stomach. "I'm pregnant. I'm going to have a baby."

Dominick's Townhouse

Will rapidly knocks on the front door of Dominick's townhouse as he is desperate to be let inside. Within a few minutes, Dominick opens the door and sees Will standing there.

"Will, you were banging on my door like there is a fire," he says as Will pushes way into the house. "What the hell is going on with you?"

"We need to talk and it can't wait," Will tells him as he turns to face him.

"What is this about, exactly?"

"Felicia," Will says as he gets a grin on his face. "She's alive, Dominick. Your ex-wife is alive."

Twin Peaks Law Courts

Abby feels her face go pale as she hears Josh ask her about her paternity test. She closes her eyes as she recalls how she went to a small clinic to find out if Andrew, or Max, was the father of her baby. She only slept with each man once, but she found herself pregnant. She had never told anyone about this, so she has no idea how they know about this.

In the audience, Andrew and Max look at one another in surprise as they wonder what is happening, as Ethan feels beads of sweat form on his forehead, as also is curious about what is unfolding.

"How….how did you know about that?" a shaky Abby asks Josh back.

"We want to bring Abby's medical file as documentation," Josh turns and passes the file to the judge.

"How did you get that? It's private and confidential?" Abby shrieks at him.

"Your honor, this is uncalled for!" Ethan stands up in horror. "Where the hell is this going?"

"Don't you see?" Josh looks at Ethan and then back at the Judge. "Abby is fighting for a son that she doesn't even know who the father is! We are building her character and the type of mother that she is!"

"I know! I know who the father is!" Abby says as tears flood her eyes.

"It's not Andrew is it?" Josh goats her as he moves closer to her. "You lied about Andrew being the father because you were desperate to be with him!"

"Yes! Yes, I lied!" Abby's admission shocks the court as gasps are heard.

"Then who?" Josh moves closer to her. "Who is the father of Olly?"

"Max! Max is the father," Abby cries as she points to Max, who goes pale in the audience as everyone turns to face Max in the audience, as Andrew glares him in shock and horror.
