Detroit, Michigan
"Thank
you, uh, for hearing me out," Natasha uneasily says as she slowly sits down
on the green sofa that is in the Rainer family home. She returned to Detroit,
determined, to get answers about Shane's past, and when the homeowner opened the
door, she showed him a picture of Shane. The man, then, claimed that the man in
the picture is Derek Rainer, not Shane, which has left her head spinning. "I
am so confused, if I am honest with you." "It certainly seems
like Derek has created an entire new identity for himself," the man replies
to her. "But I'd know that face anywhere; that man that you're marrying,
that is Derek Rainer." "I don't understand any of this,"
Natasha sighs back to him. "None of this would have even come to my attention
had my daughter not found Shane's yearbook from high school." "Ah
yes," the man nods back to her. "He was a star quarterback; everyone
knew and loved Derek. Let me guess, you found his picture with the name Derek
below it?" "That's right," Natasha agrees with him. "When
I asked my fiancé, he claimed that the editor's of the yearbook missed
the typo before it went to print." "Clearly you didn't believe
him otherwise you wouldn't have pursued this?" "It's not that,"
Natasha says back to him. "It just, Shane, he snapped at my daughter for
finding the yearbook. I thought that it was weird, which is why I continued to
investigate. Shane, however, he kept telling me to drop it because he wanted his
past to stay in his past." The man chuckles. "He would want
that." Natasha looks back at him. "Wait, how do you know all
of this information on Shane or Derek? What is your connection in all of this?"
The man looks back at Natasha with intent. "I know all of because I know
Derek personally." "How do you know him?" "He's
my son," the man reveals back to Natasha. "If you marry Derek, you will
be my daughter in-law." Bar Code
Jacob opens the door
to the bar and moves inside. After talking Cassie off a ledge earlier, as she
was upset over the fact that Abby lied about Max being the father of her child,
he decided that he would get a drink to calm his own nerves, while Cassie went
to support Max. He sits at the bar and orders a beer, just as Stephanie comes
up to him and sits next to him. "We have to got to stop meeting like
this," she purses her lips together and he chuckles back to her. "I
guess we both had the same idea to grab a mid-day drink, huh?" Jacob replies
to her. "I hope you don't have to go back to the hospital today."
"I am a free woman," Stephanie tells him. "I made a house call
earlier, which was my only patient today." "Isn't that nice
for you," he chuckles back to her. "I didn't know that you made house
calls." "I normally don't," she admits to him. "But
this patient went through a lot and I wanted to make sure he was still on the
right track." "You're a great doctor," Jacob says back
to her. "We should all be so lucky to have a doctor like you in our corner."
"That is sweet of you to say," Stephanie looks back at him. "You
know, I know we just met, but I'm really enjoying running into you, Jacob."
"Ditto, Stephanie," Jacob raises his glass to toast Stephanie quickly.
"Well, isn't this cozy looking?" Meggan tries hard not to slur her
words together. "Jacob, I heard you just married and you're already flirting
with another woman?" "Stephanie and I are just friends, Ms.
Richardson," Jacob replies to her. "How are things going with you? Does
Logan know you're here?" "My son is perfectly fine," Meggan
nods back to him. "He's in court today, I should be getting there myself,
but I wanted a drink first." "Can I call you cab?" Jacob
asks her quickly, realizing how drunk she is. "I'm fine," Meggan
pats his back. "You're a good man, Jacob. Don't forget that." The
Sugarbowl
Andy moves into the coffeehouse looking to grab another large
coffee as he is swamped at the Twin Peaks Sun with various articles that he has
to complete by the end of the day. He is hoping that the caffeine boost will help
him stay focused so he can meet his deadlines. After he orders his coffee, he
happens to see Clayton sitting at the window seat by himself. He can't help but
wonder how Clayton is doing since they all agreed to move on from their sorted
past, and he recently saw Clayton together with Lukas. After he adds some cream
and sugar to his coffee, he moves up to the Clayton and sits next to him.
"Hey, how is it going?" Andy asks his former lover quickly.
Clayton looks up from scrolling his Instagram feed. "Andy, hi, I am doing
alright, how are you?" Andy smiles back to him, thrilled that he
can actually have a civil conversation with the man that looks exactly like Reese.
"Doing well, Nicholas and I, we are in the midst of planning our wedding.
We are, finally, going to become husbands." Clayton uneasily nods
his head back to him. "That's great, I know that you two have wanted that
for a long time." "We have, yes," Andy says back. "How
about you? What's going on with you? Any new men in your life?" Clayton
chuckles back to him. "I am assuming you've seen me and Lukas together?"
"Maybe a few times," Andy winks back to him. "I know he and
Donovan have been estranged for a long time now." "There's a
spark there for sure," Clayton admits to him. "He's a good-looking man,
but it still feels messy, despite him being estranged." "They
do have a long history together," Andy tells him. "And they are fighting
to keep their son right now." "Yea, I get that," Clayton
sighs to him. "That's why we are just friends for now, but if something else
did happen, I wouldn't be opposed." The Davenport House; Trenyce,
BJ, & Albertinah's Home
"I just heard from the nanny and the
kids are having a great time at the zoo," Trenyce tells Chris as she moves
back into the living room of the house that they used to share together. Right
before the nanny had called Trenyce to give her an update on BJ and Albertinah,
she had asked Chris if they could try to make their marriage work now that he
was proven to be Albertinah's father. "Oh good," Chris looks
back at her. "I know it would have been a fun family event, but this does
give us the chance to talk." "Yes, it does," Trenyce agrees
with him. "Right before I got the phone call, I asked you a question, Chris.
I asked you if you thought that we could try to put our marriage, and family unit,
back together now that we know that you're Tinah's daddy. What do you think?"
Chris sighs back to her. "I know that's what you want Trey," he
looks back at her. "But the truth is, I am still devastated by the fact that
you slept with Andrew in the first place. We were in a good place when you slept
with him; how will I know that it won't happen again?" "I don't
have an answer for you," Trenyce admits to him as his eyes open wider in
surprise. "I don't know how or why Andrew and I had that connection; it is
really weird considering I thought he was my son for so many years, but something
came over us, and our attraction had been building for months. One night, it just
it
just came over us." "Jesus." "I know,"
Trenyce continues to tell him. "Immediately, Chris, I knew it was wrong.
And it has never happened again, not even close. And the reason is because I know
that I love you, and only you. You're the man that I want to be with, for the
rest of my life. The vows that I made to you on our wedding day, I still mean
them to this day. I want to spend the rest of my life making this up to you, if
you'll let me." "If I am honest with myself," Chris looks
back at her. "The reason that this hurts so much is because deep down, God
help me, I still love you too, Trey. I always have, and I think a part of me always
will." "If we both love each other, we can make it through this
Chris." "If
if
I agree to this," Chris says back
to her. "We have to go slow, Trey. We have to work at rebuilding the trust
we once had." "I can do slow." "Okay."
"Okay," Trenyce moves closer to him. "Does that mean?"
"We can try again," Chris whispers back to her. "I want to
try to make us work again." "Oh Chris," Trenyce pulls him
into a deep hug. "I love you and will do whatever I can to make this right."
"I love you too, Trey," Chris whispers back to her. "I really
love you too." Twin Peaks General Hospital Cheresa
sits in her office trying to review some patient files on her desk but she is
having a hard time focusing as her mind is racing over the fact that Dawn has
continued to believe that Chantel was the one behind the threatening text messages
that she has been receiving. However, Chantel has, seemingly, gone missing, and
Simona believes that someone might have killed her in a break and enter into her
apartment. If that wasn't scary enough, after Cheresa told Dawn about
Chantel and Simona's theory, Dawn received another threatening text message, which
would prove that Dawn's theory that Chantel was sending the messages wrong.
"Dawn is rattled by this and clearly I am too," she whispers to
herself. "If Chantel isn't sending Dawn the messages, then someone else is,"
she continues to try to figure this out. "And that person, they want Dawn
dead based on the text messages. But if Chantel is missing, or God forbid dead,
then it can't be her." "How can this be happening?" she
stops and asks herself in a panic. "Wait, my God, what if the person that
broke into Chantel's apartment is the same person sending Dawn the messages? What
if someone is targeting all of the people I love?" Twin Peaks
Police Department Simona looks at the file in front of her that is
on the break and enter into Chantel's apartment. As she re-reads her notes she
still believes her initial theory is true: someone must have broken into her apartment,
a tussle followed and the intruder killed Chantel. "The question
becomes," she taps her pencil on the desk. "Why did the intruder break
into Chantel's apartment? What did she have that they could have wanted?"
Simona arches her eyebrow, still wondering what is actually going on. "And
if Chantel was killed, where is her body? Where did the killer take her?"
"I have to figure this out, because I will not have another serial killer
in this town, oh no, not on my watch! Twin Peaks Law Courts
"You
all may be seated," Judge Franklin Ross announces to the court room. "With
the exception of you, Abigail Lawson, please remain standing." Abby
gulps as Ethan sits but gives her a nod of approval. She turns her attention back
to the Judge. "Your revelation while you were on the witness stand, it left
us all in disbelief," the Judge looks at her. "You purposely allowed
a young man to grieve a child he thought was dead, when he wasn't even the father
of that said child," he glares at her. "That is the most despicable
of behaviors I have ever heard of in my life!" "I'm
"
"I didn't ask you to speak," Franklin cuts Abby off. "You have
been warned, if you have any other outrageous lies or schemes hidden, this is
your chance to reveal them; if anything else comes to light based on testimony,
you will not win this case and I will fine you, do you understand me?"
"There is nothing else," Abby whispers back to him. "And I
am very, very sorry." "Be seated," the Judge orders her,
as Abby does and then immediately grabs Ethan's hand. "Now, Mr. Levitt, please
call your next witness." Before Josh can stand up, the back doors
to the courtroom open and Max, and Cassie, rush in. "Your honor, wait,"
Max stops the proceedings, as everyone gasps out loud. "I have something
to say, and everyone, including you, needs to hear me out." Detroit,
Michigan
"You're
you're Shane's father?" Natasha asks
in shock. "You're Oscar?" "Oscar?" the man asks her
back with a confused look on his face. "No, my name is Lou, Louie Rainer."
"Louie?" Natasha continues to be confused. "Shane, or Derek,
always said his father's name was Oscar. He even named his youngest son, Oscar,
supposedly after you." "Derek, or Shane, whatever he goes by
now," Louie looks back at her with intent. "It sounds like he created
a whole new life for himself to escape his real past. The one he ran away from."
"But why?" Natasha asks him. "Why would Shane do this?"
"I'll tell you," Louie looks at her with intent. "Because he
killed his mother; Derek killed my wife and then he ran away," he reveals
as Natasha covers her mouth in absolute horror. Next on One Day at
