The Pink Flamingo at the River
Rock Casino
"Isn't it interesting how we both had similar conversations
with Clayton about us getting married?" Nicholas smirks over to Andy as they
two are enjoying lunch with one another. Nicholas and Andy, both, had recent conversations
with Clayton, where he seemingly wished them well on their journey to becoming
husbands. After everything they have been through together, neither one excepted
them to be in this position, but they are glad that they are finally at peace.
"We have all come along way, haven't we?" Andy chuckles to him.
"To think that we were embroiled in this, I don't know, love triangle seems
like a lifetime ago." "It is nice to see that we can all grow
and change together," Nicholas nods back to him. "He genuinely seems
happy that we are getting married." "Yea, he does," Andy
agrees with him. "There's only one other person that could, potentially,
be against us getting married." "You're talking about my mother,
aren't you?" Nicholas asks him with a chuckle. "She has never
wanted us to be together, Nicholas," Andy reminds him. "She has gone
to great lengths to keep us apart." "I don't think we have to
worry about her," Nicholas says back to his fiancé. "None of
her schemes have worked; we will be married." "Maybe, but it
has made me question this big wedding idea," Andy admits to him with a sigh.
"Maybe we should just do something small, quick, and fast? It would prevent
her from even knowing about it?" "You want to just go to the
courthouse or something?" Nicholas asks him in surprise. "It's
an idea," Andy tells him. "And it could prevent Melissa from ruining
our day." The Tower's; Floor Ten; Andrew & Daisy's Condo
Andrew looks back at Daisy in shock as she just suggested to him that they
get married. The last thing he expected from Daisy was a marriage proposal, but
now he has to find a way to answer her. "Marriage?" Andrew finally
breaks a small awkward silence between them. "You want us to get married?"
Daisy feels her cheeks flush in embarrassment. "I
I've been thinking
about it for a while now, I guess," she admits to him. "I know this
isn't the traditional way of doing things; normally the man asks the woman and
has a huge ring, but this is 2025, we don't have to be traditional!"
"All good points," Andrew chuckles to her.
"I just think
we work well together, Andrew," Daisy looks back at him. "We went through
a lot together at the casino and with Antonio. Now, we are together, in this beautiful
condo; it just seems like the natural next step of our relationship. And, I do
love you, very much. I'd do anything for you." "I feel the same
way," Andrew reveals to her. "If I am honest, I really thought the fact
that I slept with Trenyce would come between us, but you've been nothing but supportive."
"I understand that you and Trenyce only slept together once, and now
we know that you're not Tinah's father, we should just all move on from that mess
and try to put our lives back together. I know you've been down about losing Tinah
and Sonny, and this could be a positive in your life, Andrew. I can be your light.
Now and forever." Andrew smiles back to her and leans in and kisses
her on her lips. "My answer is yes," he whispers after their lips part.
"I'll become your husband, Daisy. I'll marry you." The Cascade
Apartments; Cassie, Jacob & Carter's Home
Cassie paces back and
forth in the apartment that she shares with Jacob and their son, Carter. Her mind
is racing over the fact that earlier in the morning Jacob admitted that he was
hanging out with Stephanie. Cassie can't help but feel somewhat insecure about
Jacob spending so much time with another woman; she knows that they are, finally,
in a good place, and the last thing she wants is for another woman to come between
them, especially since they just went through something similar with Isabelle.
"I don't know who you are or what you want with Jacob," Cassie whispers
to herself. "But I will not you, Stephanie, come between me and my man. I
will find a way to stop this before it escalates." She pauses for
a moment and looks at a picture of her, Jacob, and Carter that is hanging on the
fridge by a magnet. "You will not ruin my family, not after I've worked so
hard to get Jacob back," she tells her. "I guess I need to introduce
myself to you and make it clear that my family is not to be messed with."
The Tower's; The Penthouse; Cory's Home
"Sorry that you
missed Cory," Penny tells Robin as they women sit next to one another in
the living room of the penthouse. Robin arrived to see Cory and Penny, but Cory
has stepped out already. "He had a lunch date with Sophie." "That's
fine," Robin purses her lips back to her. "It will give us a few minutes
to connect. How are you feeling after our last conversation? The one where I revealed
that I, too, was also blind for a while." "I've been feeling
a lot better about things," Penny admits to her. "You were really helpful
and you gave me a new perspective." "I'm glad that I was able
to help you," Robin replies to her. "You did so much for Cory when we
all thought he was dead; this is our way of giving back to you. And I know Cory
still feels guilty for his role in how this happened." "I wish
he wouldn't," Penny sighs back to her. "He had no idea that Gordy was
going to snap and lose control mentally." "I have tried to tell
him that so many times," Robin chuckles. "But you know Cory, he is stubborn
to a fault." "That he is, but he's also incredibly generous,
thoughtful and helpful," Penny says. "Today, even, he helped me."
Robin arches her eyebrow back to her. "How did he help you?"
"My nurse maid wasn't able to get here first thing in the morning,"
Penny explains to Robin. "So, he helped me get dressed. I was a little bashful
because there I was in my underwear and Cory had to help me pick out this blouse
and pants. But I am glad he did." Robin gulps heavily thinking of
the fact that Cory saw his former lover in her underwear. She knows that they
are, finally, back on good terms, but she can't help but feel insecure. "So,
he is still helping me," Penny chuckles, knowing that she must have struck
a nerve with Robin by sharing her story. "That he is," Robin
finally replies to her. "That he is." Caldwell's Mountain
& Ski Resort - The Enchanted Woods
A few miles away from Caldwell's
Mountain & Ski resort, there is a National Park called the Enchanted Woods.
The resort uses the park as a place for people to camp, hike, and enjoy a lake
that is in the center of the woods. Simona pulls her police SUV into the
parking lot. She steps out of the SUV and takes a deep breath, enjoying some of
the fresh mountain air. The park has been closed for the last two seasons while
some of the infrastructure gets some repairs. However, this is the parking lot
that she got word that Chantel's car was left. She looks around and, immediately,
sees the vehicle parked under a bunch of large Burch trees. The top of the vehicle
is already covered in some sap that have leaked out from the trees. Simona
walks over to the vehicle and grabs her flashlight. She turns it on and flashes
the light into the windows. She doesn't see any sign of life in the vehicle, which
she isn't surprised about. She tries to open the driver's side door, but it is
locked. She moves around to the passenger side door and tries to open it, and
to her luck, it opens. Immediately, however, she covers her mouth as she
can smell a horrible, rotting smell coming from inside the vehicle. She cover
her mouth and then peers her head inside the vehicle, but as she looks into the
back, her eyes open wider in surprise. She scrams out of the vehicle,
opens her mouth and tries to compose herself. "Dear God in Heaven,"
she says as she tries to get her heart rate back under control, clearly rattled
by what she saw in the backseat of Chantel's car. The Calimo Mansion
"Cat got your tongue?" Shane asks Natasha as they continue to
face one another in the living room of the Calimo mansion. Shane just emerged
from the bedroom and saw his wife pour a cup of coffee; he found out that Natasha,
again, went to Detroit, even though he asked her to keep his past in the past.
He wants to know why she is pursuing this when it is clearly against his wishes.
"You were in Detroit again, weren't you, Natasha?" Natasha sets
her coffee mug down and then looks back at her fiancé. "I was. I
I
had to get more answers, Shane. This entire situation, it's been eating away at
me. So, yes, I went back to Detroit. I'm sorry that I mislead you, but I needed
answers and you weren't giving them to me!" "Damnit Natasha!"
Shane yells back at her. "I asked you to leave my past in the past! Why can't
you just respect my privacy about this?" "If I am honest with
you Shane, it is because of how you treated my daughter," Natasha replies
to him quickly. "You snapped at her, and she didn't deserve that. If you
never wanted anyone to find your yearbook and the fact that your name is Derek
Rainer, then you should have destroyed it years ago." "Unbelievable,"
Shane shakes his head back to her. "You really think my name is Derek Rainer?"
"I do," Natasha nods back to him. "Because I met with Louie
Rainer. I met with your family, Shane," she reveals to him as Shane feels
the blood drain from his face. Dominick's Townhouse "I
am so sorry that I am late," Daisy announces to Lukas, Meggan, and Dominick
as she scurries into the living room. After Andrew accepted her proposal, she
realized that Dominick had requested a meeting with her and her half-siblings,
so she raced over to the townhouse. "I hope I didn't miss anything?"
"Not at all," Meggan replies to her quickly. "Dominick was
just about to tell Lukas and I something about our father; he has news about Frederick."
"Frederick? What about Frederick?" Daisy asks in confusion.
"There's no easy way to say this," Dominick tells the group. "But
Frederick is alive and well; he has been hiding at the Victors mansion."
Frederick's children gasp in shock and horror. "What? But
why?"
Lukas asks him quickly. "He has Felicia there," Dominick explains
to them. "He pretended that they both died in that fire so he could be alone
with her. And that's not the end of it; he
he married Felicia. They are husband
and wife." "This is shocking," Meggan shakes her head back
to him before she looks at Lukas. "Our father is alive, and made us think
he was dead all this time? No! No! This has to end, this has to end now!"
