The Calimo Mansion Sunlight
creeps through the curtains in Shane and Natasha's large bedroom at the Calimo
mansion. Both of them slept in today because the previous day was an emotional
day for them, as Shane, finally, admitted his past to Natasha. When he was younger,
he won an important football game. His teammates celebrated with some fireworks,
which Shane saw on the drive home, while his mother was next to him. The fireworks
caught his eye, and he took his eyes off the road; when he returned his focus,
the vehicle ended up hitting a moose, which collapsed on top of the car, and killed
his mother. His father, Louie, blamed Derek, now Shane, for the death of his wife,
his mother, and Shane fled from home and created a new life for himself in hopes
of forgetting. "What time is it?" Shane asks as he squints his
eyes open and looks at Natasha. "I have no idea," she giggles
back to him. "But I am thinking we slept in. You didn't have a shift at the
hospital, did you?" "I didn't," Shane admits to her. "I
took the day off; I thought it would be best since I didn't know how our conversation
yesterday was going to go." "Thank you, by the way," Natasha
looks back at him. "For telling me the truth. I realize that it wasn't easy,
but I felt like I needed to know." "I am just glad that it hasn't
changed things between us, Nat," Shane says. "I was so scared that if
you, or anyone, knew the truth, you would feel the same way that Louie does. The
thought that this life that I created could be taken away from me, it terrified
me to my very core." Natasha caresses his face with her hand. "You
don't have to worry about that," she whispers back to him. "I love you,
and nothing will ever change that." Shane grins back to her. "You're
already late to be at the office, right?" "Very late,"
she rolls her eyes before he leans over and kisses her. "Then let
me make you later," he suggests as they kiss again, and she crawls on top
of her fiancé. The Tower's; The Penthouse; Cory & Penny's
Home
Penny sits on the sofa in the living room of the penthouse that
she is living in with Cory. Her mind is racing over the fact that he and Robin
made love while she was resting; she realized that she has to step up her plan
to get Cory back. The thing she wants, more than anything, to be with Cory, and
the fact that he has reunited with Robin makes her blood boil. "Tonight,"
she whispers to herself. "I will make my move tonight, and then, Cory will
be mine again." "Did I hear you say something?" Cory asks
as he moves into the living room and sees his former lover on the sofa. "Sorry,
I guess I was just thinking out loud," Penny tells him as Cory sits next
to her. "I need your help with something, Cory." Cory arches
his eyebrow back to her. "I will do what I can," Cory says back to her.
"You know that I'm here for you, Pen." Penny smiles back to
him. "I was hoping you'd say that," she chuckles to him. "So,
how can I help? What would you like me to do?" "Dinner tonight,"
she says back to him. "I want to go out with you. I want to have a dinner
date with you. I'm
I'm feeling cooped up in the penthouse." Cory
nods back to her. "Then yes, I can take you for dinner," Cory tells
her. "I'll make reservations at the Pink Flamingo, does that sound good?"
"I'd love that very much," Penny smiles back to him. "I'm looking
forward to this, Cory, I really am." "Me too," Cory tells
her. "Two friends having a night on the town, it will be fun!" The
River Rock Casino
Victoria knocks on the office door and waits until
she hears a faint "Come in" from the other side. She is at the casino
to visit Isabelle; she wanted to check in on her cousin after she witnessed Isabelle
slapping Bryce. Victoria recalls seeing Bryce kiss Isabelle; they obviously ended
up making love, and Isabelle must have believed that Bryce kissed her because
Victoria could see. For months, Bryce has been trying to get back into Victoria's
good graces as she has left him since the truth about the baby switch was revealed.
"I hope this is a good time?" Victoria asks as she moves into the
office. "Oh Victoria," Isabelle stands up from the desk that
used to be her father's. She has been running the casino since Antonio's death.
"I'm glad that you're here, actually. I was hoping to talk to you and Donovan."
"You'll have to settle for just me," Victoria replies to her. "Donovan
is in court trying to keep custody of his son." "I heard about
that, I am praying that it works out for him," she says back to her cousin.
"Thank you," Victoria says. "You wanted to see me, is everything
okay? I
I must admit that I saw you and Bryce earlier; you slapped him across
the face. Dare I ask what my estranged husband did to deserve that?"
Isabelle sighs heavily back to her. "He used me," she admits to
her. "He kissed me knowing you were going to see us," she explains to
her. "We ended up having sex, which was my fault, but I feel like he used
me in hopes of trying to making you jealous. The entire situation is really gross
and nasty." "I am sorry that he did that to you," Victoria
moves closer to her and hugs her. "For the record, I don't care at all. Bryce
is free to do whatever he wants now. Our marriage is over, there is no going back
now." "I appreciate that," Isabelle tries to keep her composure.
"But like I said, this has felt me feeling a certain kind of way."
Victoria arches her eyebrow back to her. "What are you going to do?"
"I'm leaving Twin Peaks," Isabelle reveals to her. "I've been
thinking about this for a while, and this
this was the last straw."
"Leave town? Are you sure about that? What about the casino?"
"I've hired a manager; her name is Erika Sanders, she'll be doing the
day to day, and can keep me posted on anything. I
I just feel like I need
a change of scenery, you know? Ever since my Dad died, I've been in a tailspin
and I need to get myself back in control," Isabelle tells her. "I am
not saying I will be away forever, but I do need to do this." "Okay,
I understand," Victoria pulls her into a hug. "We will miss you around
here." "Thanks, we will be in touch," Isabelle tells her
as they exit their embrace. "I
I need to get home and finish packing,
my flight is later today." "This is happening quickly,"
Victoria replies to her. "Let me know when you're safe, okay? And take care."
Victoria turns to leave the office. She stops outside realizing that she will
miss her cousin after Isabelle leaves town. She shakes her head and starts to
move towards the exit when Bryce starts to come in as he realized he forgot his
wallet at the bar of the Pink Flamingo. He moves up to his estranged wife, wanting
to see her. "Vic, hey," Bryce says as he smiles at her. "Do
you have a minute?" "Not really," Victoria coldly tells
him. "I have to get back to work." "I
I was hoping
that we could talk and, maybe, patch things up with us?" Victoria
chuckles back to him. "No, Bryce, no," she shakes her head at him. "I've
told you that we are over, and I mean it. Do not ask me about this again. It's
time you move on, the way I am." Bryce arches his eyebrow as Victoria
storms off from him. He recalls how he saw Jeff
and Victoria working together recently and they looked pretty cozy; he hopes that
Victoria isn't making a play for his father, especially when he is happy with
Leah. ***
Meanwhile, inside the restaurant, Dominick
and Leah sit across from one another having a light lunch. Leah wanted to see
her father because she wants to fill him in on the fact that she went to see Felicia
at the Victors mansion. She is still coming to terms with the fact that Felicia
is alive, but also married to Frederick. "How was Felicia when you
saw her?" Dominick asks her before he takes a sip of his tea. Leah
uneasily shrugs back to her. "She seemed fine, but there was something off
about her, you know?" "The fact that she is claiming that she
is happy with Frederick and wants to be married is a very serious red flag,"
Dominick agrees with his daughter. "Felicia, in her right frame of mind,
we never say such things." "I couldn't agree more," Leah
nods back to him. "And of course, Frederick was hovering the entire time
I was there, so I didn't feel like I could press her for any more details without
him interfering." "I hate this," Dominick sighs. "I
don't know what we can do though; they are married, so we don't have much of a
legal leg to stand on in this situation." "I've been thinking,"
Leah looks back at him with intent. "If we can get Felicia away from Frederick,
we might be able to get to the bottom of this change of heart that she has seemingly
had." "The question, then, becomes: how do we get Felicia away
from Frederick?" Dominick asks her quickly. "Exactly,"
Leah says. "If we can answer that question, we might be able to get Felicia
back." The Victors Mansion; Frederick's Lair
After
Sophie suggested to Logan that he visit Frederick, he went home and told Meggan
about the idea. Not wanting Logan to be around Frederick unsupervised, Meggan
insisted that she join the two of them on their trip to the Victors mansion. So
now, the three of them are in the living room and Frederick is beaming, thrilled
that his grandson has decided to visit him. "This is certainly a
wonderful surprise," Frederick admits to his family, and Sophie, who is next
to Logan. "I was not expecting to see my grandson today." "You
owe it all to Sophie," Logan reveals as he smiles over this friend. "She
told me that I should come and visit you, since I don't really know very well."
"I suppose a lot of that is my fault," Frederick nods back to him.
"I've been in and out of everyone's lives a few times now." "You're
damn straight it's your fault," Meggan hisses as she pours herself a drink
from the bar. "You've been playing games with everyone around you for years!"
"Don't pay attention to her, it's the alcohol talking," Frederick
ignores his daughter and continues to look at Logan and Sophie. "One of the
reasons that I hated Noah's death was to make her realize that she needed help."
"Shut up, Dad," Meggan rolls her eyes back to him. "You let
me suffer for years thinking that I killed a little boy!" "We
also heard that you recently got married," Sophie looks at Frederick, wanting
to change the subject, since the tension is thick between Frederick and Meggan.
"Congratulations." "Yes, congratulations," Logan smiles
to him. "Thank you, thank you," Frederick chuckles. "Yes,
I am a very lucky man. Felicia, she is my world. She is resting right now, but
I know she would love to get to know you, both of you. And I might add, you two
are a very cute couple." "Oh, us?" Sophie giggles.
"We are just friends," Logan explains to him. "Sophie is the
best, but yea, we are just friends, right Sophie?" Sophie looks back
at him and knows that they recently had sex after they both drank too much. She
was worried that things would be awkward between them, but it has been surprising
normal for them. "That's right, we are friends, really good friends."
"Well, I have an eye for this type of thing," Frederick tells them
as Meggan rolls her eyes. "I think love might be in the air for you two.
And who knows, maybe one day, you'll be as happy as Felicia and I are!"
Logan and Sophie uneasily laugh back with him before they look at one another.
"Yea, maybe, who knows," Logan nervously chuckles. Roboto
Robbie
opens the door to the main office at Roboto and freezes when he sees Kim sitting
on one of the sofas in the office. Seeing Kim, he quickly recalls how he saw her
at the Sugarbowl and he ended up following her to Robertson Enterprises, where
Kim visited Tyler. Robbie was horrified to see them share a kiss with one another,
which makes his blood boil. The last thing that Robbie wants is for Kim to fall
back in with the likes of Tyler Robertson. "I'm surprised to see
you here today," Robbie says as he moves to the bar in the office and pours
himself a glass of water. "You've had so much time away lately."
"That is true," Kim replies to him as she stands up from the sofa
and looks at her estranged husband. "But the fact is, I need to get back
to work. I need to have my routine again." "Do you think that
this is going to be awkward?" Robbie asks her quickly. "You've made
it perfectly clear that you want to end our marriage." "I haven't
changed my mind about ending our marriage," Kim tells him. "And you
know why I've made that decision. But we need to put the company first, Robbie.
I'm willing to do that if you are." "Of course," Robbie
nods back to her. "But I will give you a warning: stay away from Tyler."
Kim arches her eyebrow as she puts her hand on her hip. "What does that
mean?" "I don't want you getting back together with him,"
Robbie informs her. "Even if you and I don't work out, getting back together
with Tyler is the worst possible decision you could make." Kim uneasily
chuckles back to him. "Well, Robbie, you are in no position to tell me who
I can or can't spend my time with," she says quickly. "Don't you dare
do that, not after everything else you've done!" "I want you
to be careful." "Thank you for your concern," Kim looks
back at him with intent. "But I am spending time with people who want only
the best for me, and right now, that includes Tyler. And that is something that
you're going to have to get used to Robbie." Next on One Day at
a Time - Donovan takes the witness stand - Meggan lashes out at Frederick -
