Twin Peaks Law Courts

There are a series of hushed whispers in the courtroom while everyone awaits Judge Franklin Ross' return with his final decision in the custody case. Lois, Max and Cassie are huddled together, while Josh, Lukas and Donovan are discussing their prospects, and finally, Ethan and Abby sit next to one another, trying to remain hopeful.

"Regardless of what happens, I am very proud of you for taking the steps you to get your son back," Cassie tells Max before she looks at Lois. She knows that her son was shocked to learn that he was Sonny's biological father because Abby, finally, admitted the truth on the witness stand.

"It was the only option I had," Max replies to her before he looks at her lawyer. "Lois, what do you think the Judge's decision will be?"

"It is hard to say," Lois admits to him. "Everyone made very strong cases, I just hope he realizes that you are the best option for that little boy."

"You and me both," Max sighs back to her. "I just hope he returns with his decision soon; the waiting is killing me."

"I'm right here, regardless," Cassie puts her hand on his shoulder. "I am proud of you, Max."

Max hugs his mother. "Thanks Mom, I couldn't have done this without you."

Meanwhile, at the middle table, Donovan looks at Lukas and Josh with a worried look on his face. He knows that both he and Lukas were dragged through the mud on the witness stand, and he is worried that it will cost him their son.

"I am not sure what to think," Donovan finally breaks the awkward silence between them. "The truth is, both Lois and Ethan painted us out to be horrible monsters. How could the Judge keep Olly with us after that?"

"I can't believe how cruel they were," Lukas agrees with Donovan. "Bringing up the fact that we were both charged for murder of our fathers, when they know that we were proven innocent in the end! That's not right!"

"Just try to stay to calm," Josh tells his clients. "The last thing we want is to get worked up; you have to remember, it was their job to paint you in the worst light possible. I did the exact same thing with Abby and Max, so we just have to trust that the Judge will listen to me when I said that keeping Olly with you two, the only parents that he has ever known, is the best solution."

"Do you think the Judge will think that way?" Lukas asks him back.

Josh shrugs back to him. "I have no idea, but we have to believe that I got through to him."

"My God, I hope you're right," Donovan sighs. "I can't fathom the idea of losing our son."

Over at the last table, Abby runs her hand over her face before she takes a sip of the water that is in front of her. She, then, looks over at Ethan.

"You're fidgeting," he observes back to Abby, who nods back to him.

"I'm trying to stay calm," she admits to him. "But my heart is racing, and my mind is going to a million different scenarios."

"I suspect we won't have to wait too much longer," Ethan says back to her. "The Judge claimed that he wanted to come to a decision tonight."

"What if he says I can't get my son back?" she asks with her lower lip quivering. "I've already lost so much time with Sonny…I…I don't know what I will do if I don't get him back."

Before Ethan can say anything else, the plaintiff comes out and clears his throat. "All rise, the honorable Judge Franklin Ross resides," he announces as the Judge slowly makes his way to his chair, while Max, Lukas, Donovan, and Abby prepare to find out their fate of the futures.

The Claus House; Leah, Jeff, & Paige's Home

Paige pours some bubbles into the large bathtub as she is preparing to treat herself to some tub time to relax before she ends the day. She is still trying to determine what she should do about her pregnancy; since she found out that she was with child, she has ended her relationship with Will because she realized that he still has feelings for Eva, and probably always will. However, she is now in the position of not knowing what to do about her unborn child.

She turns the water off and is about to crawl into the tub when she hears the doorbell chime. Since she is home alone, she knows that she will have to answer the door, so she grabs a towel and wraps it around her naked body.

She scurries down the hallway and opens the front door where she sees Will standing. "Will, what are you doing here?"

Will shrugs before he moves into the foyer of the home. "I know it's late, and I can see you're about to have a bath, but, uh, I guess I just wanted to come and see you."

"Is everything okay?"

"I guess not," Will sighs back to her as he thinks about how Eva used him for sex recently, and in turn, he told Dominick the truth about Felicia being alive. Now, Eva is furious with him and she has made it crystal clear that they don't have a future together. "I wanted to apologize to you."

"Do you want to come in? I can get you a drink or something?"

"Yea, that'd be nice," he tells her as they move to the sofa and sit next to one another. "Like I said, I am sorry, Paige."

"I'm not sure what you're apologizing for," Paige admits to him.

"Everything," he chuckles back to her. "I mean, I should have been honest with you, and everyone, about Felicia from the get-go. I was so wrapped up in Eva that I couldn't see clearly, even though I knew it was wrong to lie to everyone. And then, when we got together, I am sorry if I lead you on in any way, Paige. I really never meant to hurt you. I really enjoyed our time together."

Paige uneasily smiles back to him. "I appreciate your apology," she whispers to him. "I enjoyed our time together too, but I still think it is for the best if we move on."

"Yea, I didn't come here to try to get you back," he tells her. "I know we are over. Hey, how about that drink? A scotch?"

"Sure," Paige says as she stands up and moves to the bar. She pours a drink and then passes it back to Will. As she leans over, however her towel loosens and falls to the ground, exposing her naked body. Will looks at her and his eyes open wider in shock.

"What the hell?" he asks her quickly as Paige grabs the towel from the ground to cover herself. "Paige why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you tell me that you're pregnant?" he asks her as he had seen her slight baby bump, while Paige gulps heavily back to him.

The Tower's; The Penthouse; Cory & Robin's Home

Cory and Penny lay naked next to one another in her bed that is in her room in the penthouse. They got home from their dinner at the Pink Flamingo and Penny asked Cory to help with her something; when he told her that he would do anything for her, Penny kissed him and asked him to make love to her. While he was resistant at first, Penny continued to kiss him until they moved to the bedroom, where they had sex. Now, they are basking in the afterglow.

Penny kisses him again before he lays back onto his pillow. "That…what was incredible," Penny tells him as she rests her head on his muscular chest. "You haven't lost your touch, Cory."

Cory uneasily smirks back to her. His mind, already, is feeling guilty about what he just did since he knows that he is back together with Robin. But, he did tell Penny he would do anything for her, and she needed him, so he ended up, without thinking, making love to her. Now though, he knows what just happened was wrong.

"I hope that helped," he finally replies to her.

"Oh, it definitely did the trick," Penny giggles back to him. "I don't know what took us so long to reconnect this way…" she says, knowing that she's toying with him.

Cory starts to reply to her, but as Penny is laying on his chest, she starts to see his long legs, which are uncovered. Soon, her entire vision has returned and she can see the entire room around her. She gasps.

"Pen? Are you okay?" Cory asks her, stopping his last sentence. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing," Penny lifts her head and looks at him, but doesn't tell him that her vision is back. "Nothing is wrong, nothing at all. Go on, finish your thoughts…."

The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino

Leah sits at the bar with a martini in front of her. She was at Meggan's earlier hearing about her visit with Logan to see Frederick. Meggan told her half-sister that she ripped into Frederick for his lies around faking Noah's death all those years ago, but that she didn't see Felicia while there. Leah, and the rest of the Robertson's, are determined to get Felicia away from Frederick, but she isn't sure how they would be able to do that.

"You look a million miles away," Bryce notes to his mother as he moves up to the bar and sits next to her. "What are you thinking about?"

"Oh Bryce, hi," Leah smiles back to him. "I guess my mind was all over the place."

"Have you heard from Ethan about how the trial went?"

"I haven't," Leah shakes her head back to him. "I think the Judge is coming back with a decision tonight, though, so we should hear soon."

"If it is not Ethan that was on your mind, was it Jeff? Are things good between you two?" Bryce asks her, as he still can't help but think about how he saw a close moment between Jeff and Victoria recently; he hasn't been able to shake the feeling that something serious could be happening between them.

"Things are perfectly fine between me and your father," Leah tells him. "The truth is, I was thinking about Felicia. I…I can't believe that she married Frederick, and that you helped. You have to know that Felicia would never had married him if…"

"I'm going to stop you there," Bryce cuts her off. "I wouldn't have married anyone if they both didn't want the marriage. Felicia was a willing participant."

Suddenly, Leah gets an idea and she looks at Bryce with intent. "I…I think I have an idea of how to get Felicia away from Frederick," she tells him as he arches his eyebrow. "And I need your help, Bryce."

"You need my help?" he asks her in confusion.

She nods back to him. "And if you help me with my mother, then I will…I will help you with Victoria."

"What are you saying?"

"If you help me get Felicia away from Frederick, I will help you save your marriage," Leah shocks Bryce by her suggestion.

Robertson Enterprises

The kiss between Jeff and Victoria continues as they stand in her office at Robertson Enterprises. They had been working on their upcoming bath line, when things got heated, once again, between them and, now, they can't keep their lips off one another. Finally, they break and look at one another.

"What are we doing?" Victoria asks him quickly as she moves away from him. "My divorce, to your son, isn't finalized yet, and you, you're with Leah."

Jeff shakes his head back to her as he runs his hand through his hair. "Yea, about that," he looks at her uneasily. "Leah…she has a lot on the go right now; her and I, I don't remember the last time we connected."

"She doesn't make love to you?"

"We haven't in a very long time," he reveals to her. "Don't get me wrong, I do love her, but…"

"You have needs, I get it," she replies to him. "It's been a while for me too."

"Must be why we are drawn to each other," he chuckles to her. "We both need it…"

"Yea, we do."

He moves closer to her again and kisses her passionately. When they part, she looks at her desk and throws everything off of it before she sits up on it and pulls him into her, kissing him and letting him crawl on top of her on the desk.

"Make love to me, Jeff," she moans as he kisses her neck and starts to unbutton her blouse and she finds the belt on his pants and starts to unzip the zipper.

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"How long has Stephanie been with Tinah now?" Andrew asks Chris, Trenyce, and Daisy as they continue to wait in the hospital waiting room for an update on Albertinah. Trenyce brought her daughter to the hospital after she came down with a fever; considering Tinah's history, Trenyce didn't want to risk her daughter's health. Shortly after, Andrew and Daisy arrived to support Chris and Trenyce while they waited for an update on Tinah from Stephanie.

"Far too long," Trenyce sighs back to him before she looks at Chris with a nervousness. "I'm beginning to think something is seriously wrong."

"Try to stay positive," Daisy encourages her niece as she comes closer to her.

"I hate to say it, but I agree with Trey," Chris tells his family. "I have a horrible feeling about this."

Before they can say anything else, Stephanie emerges in the waiting room holding Albertinah's file in her hand. "Doctor, how is my little girl?" Trenyce asks her as they all turn to face the doctor.

"There is no easy way to say this," Stephanie begins to tell the family. "After I ran my tests, I noticed some odd pieces of information in her file, so I did some more tests, which is why it took me so long."

Trenyce and Chris look at one another before they look back at he doctor. "What did you find? What's wrong with our daughter?" Chris asks her quickly.

"That's the thing, Mr. Michaels," Stephanie replies to him. "Based on my results, there's no way that Albertinah could be your daughter. You're not the father of Albertinah," Stephanie shocks them all as they gasp. "And, her aplastic anemia has returned; she will need another bone marrow transplant."

Tyler's Townhouse

In the large king-size bed in Tyler's room, he and Kim lay next to one another, each with a light covering of sweat on their naked bodies as they just finished making love to one another. They had been enjoying a romantic dinner together, when they shared another kiss, and this time, it escalated and they made love for the first time in years.

"I had forgotten how amazing you are in bed," Kim chuckles to him as she runs her finger over his toned chest. "You certainly haven't lost your ways."

"Neither have you," Tyler replies to her as he leans down and kisses her on the lips. "When two people fig together, it's magic."

"We really do fit well together, don't we?" Kim says back to him. "Part of me wonders why we every separated in the first place."

"You were married…"

Kim chuckles back to him. "It seems like a lifetime ago," she sighs back to him. "But you're right, the magic between us, it is still there."

Tyler leans down and kisses her again. "And we can make more of it together," he purrs to her.

"I like the sound of that."

The Calimo Mansion

Robbie continues to pace back and forth in the living room of the Calimo mansion with a scotch in his hand. His mind is racing on how he could get Kim back; he knows that she is devastated from his affair with Madeline, but this isn't the first rough patch that they have gone through as a couple. The fact that Kim, now, is growing closer to Tyler makes his blood boil; he knows that Tyler is using Kim to get back at him as their families have been feuding for years.

"How can I prove that Tyler is a no-good son-of-a-bitch?" he asks himself with a heavy sigh before he takes another sip of his drink. "I won't lose my wife to him, I refuse!"

He takes another sip of his drink before he sets the glass down as the doorbell rings. "I'll get it, Rosario," he calls out to the housekeeper as he moves to the front door. He opens the door and his mouth opens in shock as Madeline is standing on the other side.

"Madeline?" he asks in surprise. "You're…you're back in town?"

Madeline purses her lips together as she pushes a stroller into the foyer of the mansion. "I'm back Robbie, and there's someone you need to meet."

"Who?" Robbie asks her.

"Your son," Madeline says as she raises the covering of the stroller, to reveal a sleeping child underneath. "This is our child, Robbie."

Twin Peaks Law Courts

The back door of the courtroom opens and Sophie moves inside, grabbing a seat at the very back of the room. She just arrived to support Max, and she realizes that it is the perfect timing as the Judge is about to make his ruling.

"This case was incredibly complicated," Franklin begins to say to everyone. "Because this was all started by an evil plan of a baby switch; both of the biological parents never had the chance to raise their child, and now, the child has grown very attached to the only parents that they knew. That being said, I had to make a decision."

Max, Lukas, Donovan, and Abby all feel their hearts move into their throats as they wonder what the Judge will say next.

"When I think of a family unit, there is never a perfect one," the Judge continues. "Each member of the child's family made strong points as to why they should raise the child, and at the end of the day, I kept thinking that Max and Abby, again, never had the chance to raise the child because of the baby switch. Had the switch not happened, Lukas and Donovan wouldn't be here today."

Lukas and Donovan feel their hearts break in their chest listening to the Judge. "But what struck me most, as well, is that Abby was able to lie about the father of the child for years, even after she believed he was dead. That is beyond cruel, in my mind. And that's why, I've made my decision. Full custody of Sonny or Olly will go to his biological father, Max Black. Court is adjourned!"

Max stands up and hugs Lois and then Cassie. "I did it! I got my son!" Max says, as Lukas, Donovan, and Abby watch him in horror that they lost their chance to be parents to their son.
